But with the front right wheel, the operators, I must admit, were not lucky. The factory workers fixed it on the hub with a slight misalignment, which is very strongly felt on the steering wheel. The weight of the wheel is almost equal to a centner, in principle, it can weigh more, if only distortions are not allowed during its installation. You involuntarily recall that in the USA discless wheels were also in fashion at one time, but now they are practically not found there.

General impression

But in general, the car left a good impression. We got acquainted with the car in the most economical version of the dump truck, which is sold at the lowest price. Summing up, we can come to the conclusion that Minsk automakers produce high-quality, reliable equipment.

When developing this model, the shortcomings that were present in previous models were taken into account and finalized. So, in the MAZ-5551, the designers finally said goodbye to the gearshift lever in the form of scrap, which is present in all previous models.

Yes, and transmissions are no longer required, as before, to be caught throughout the cabin space. At the same time, the gearshift scheme remained the same.
