What country is Ford made in? Comparative characteristics of FORD FOCUS of different countries of manufacturers

15.04.2019

The more foreign cars are assembled in Russia (the number of models has exceeded two dozen), the more often buyers discuss their quality in comparison with analogues made in other countries. For many models, there is no longer a choice - all versions sold by us are assembled in Russia. But this does not mean that shortcomings (if any) need to be reconciled. Let's keep the producers on their toes!

We have in our hands the Ford Mondeo - two fresh (mileage about 15,000 km) copies with the same power units (140-horsepower diesel and 6-speed automatic) in very close trim levels (Titanium with options). Body type difference: auto Russian production- sedan, Belgian - station wagon.

On the move, Fords are almost indistinguishable from each other, despite the fact that the Russian sedan has adjustable rear shock absorbers and there is a choice between comfortable, normal and sports modes movement. It is impossible to catch the difference in the operation of suspensions in conditions of viscous urban traffic.

It is also not an easy task to objectively compare the noise levels in the cabin: the Belgian car has studded tires, the Russian one has no studs. However, the difference is within the limits of ear susceptibility. I am sure that the sound level meter in the measured area, if it would have caught the nuances, would be due to the type of body, and not the quality of sound insulation. A close inspection of the cars confirmed: it is the same. The motor, even with intense acceleration, growls more businesslike than nervously. In the salons of "crickets" and other annoying sound phenomena, not a single flat road, were not found on the bumps.

Well, now let's go to our technical center: we gave the cars to be "torn apart" by picky experts.

DETAILS

The sedan was produced in Russia, the station wagon - in Belgium. Power units the same, the configurations are close:

It was not possible to find flaws in the assembly of the instrument panel, console, door trim. Everything is tailored and fitted well, without abnormal gaps and irregularities. To summarize: there are no national differences:

American concern Ford understands vehicles. Today, there are a significant number of American cars that have won many world awards and which are so loved by the automotive community. The Ford Focus is no exception. Since 1999, more than half a million cars of this model have been sold in Russia. And in 2010, the sedan received an award as the best-selling car of a foreign assembly. Two years later, this model was recognized as the car of the year in the Russian Federation. But, nevertheless, for many, the question remains open: where is Ford Focus assembled for Russian consumers? Starting from July 18, 2011, Ford Sollers began to assemble the Ford Focus for the Russian market at the Vsevolozhsk enterprise. Until that moment, in Russia it was possible to purchase cars only of foreign assembly.

At our plant, they began to assemble a model with engine sizes of 1.6 and 2.0 liters. The car was produced with five- and six-speed mechanics and a six-speed robotic gearbox to choose from. Ford car Focus third generation got fresh, original appearance, a little more comfort and a few extra layers of security. The sedan of the Russian assembly was equipped new system MyFord, which is able to manage all systems and electronic “bells and whistles” in a car, including a WI-FI access point and a huge touch screen. Russian official dealers can offer you a Ford Focus 3 car with two petrol units for 1.6 liters (105 and 125 horses), one 2.0-liter engine (150 hp) and a diesel engine that produces 140 Horse power relics.

In which countries is the model still being assembled?

After the presentation of the "American" of the third generation in 2010, they began to assemble it in the city of Saarlius (Germany). A year later, the car began to be produced at an enterprise in the city of Wayne (United States of America). For their own markets, sedan production was later established in Africa and Latin America. In addition to these countries, the Ford model Focus III produced in China and Thailand. In the past year, the "American" has experienced some changes. updated version sedan began to be assembled last year in the United States. Launch in Europe vehicle Ford Focus launched on December 1, 2014. The Russian market is supplied with cars exclusively of domestic assembly, directly from the Ford Sollers car plant in Vsevolozhsk.

The enterprise has everything necessary for the high-quality production of the "American". Welding shops, assembly lines, spray booths and sites for storing assembled units work without failures. Finished cars are tested in a territory specially equipped for this process. Here, where they produce Ford Focus, also assemble another model - Ford Mondeo. Domestic-assembled cars are a little cheaper at the price of overseas products. The manufacturer tries his best to assemble cars, the quality is no worse than foreign ones.

The quality of the Russian assembly

A true "American" produced in Europe is famous for its impeccable technical specifications and a high level of comfort. What can not be said about the domestically produced Ford Focus. Most Russian car owners complain about poor sound insulation, poor ground clearance and hard suspension. It turns out that the enterprise in Vsevolozhsk did not focus on re-equipping the sedan for operation in Russian conditions, and in vain. Also, there are complaints that the paint that is used to cover the car body is not of very high quality and is very soft. From the reviews of the owners, it became known that the car is scratched from ordinary branches.

Speaking about the Ford Focus sedan of our assembly as a whole, Russian car owners make claims to general design vehicle. Some time after operating on our bumps and pits, the car starts to creak and annoy the driver with this. Therefore, the fact where the Ford Focus is produced plays important role when buying a car. After all, the buyer wants to get a comfortable car with good driving performance and long service life.

The car has long been an integral part of our lives - so integral that a modern person cannot imagine a world without cars at all. Today they surround us everywhere, and after all, just a little over a hundred years ago, a car was such a rarity that only a select few could afford it. After all, they were then assembled purely by hand. But thanks to one man who revolutionized the automotive industry, everything changed. The man's name was Henry Ford. The company he founded was the first in the world to use the assembly line, starting the mass production of cars. For modern Russia Ford became the first foreign company to open a assembly plant. So how is Ford assembled in Russia today?

2. The Ford Sollers plant in Vsevolozhsk was founded in 2002 and became the first full-cycle automobile enterprise opened by a foreign company in Russia. The plant "Russian Diesel" was chosen to organize production. This fact made it possible to avoid the cost of building buildings, but imposed significant restrictions on production areas. Ford technologists had to think hard before writing technological process within such tight limits. But they did it. For this reason, the Ford plant in Vsevolozhsk became a unique project, because, despite its relatively small size, it immediately became a full-cycle enterprise, and not just an assembly shop. On an area of 26 hectares, there are welding, painting and assembly shops, warehouses, a platform for finished products and even a test track. Until 2011, the Vsevolozhsk plant was the only Ford plant in Europe that produced Ford Focus cars in all four body modifications: station wagon, sedan, five-door and three-door hatchback of the first and second generations.

3. The life of every new car at this Ford plant starts from scratch - from a set of parts, fasteners, seals and plastics. This process takes about 14 hours and the first thing that the future Ford has to go through is the welding shop. Here, in the confident hands of welders and sheaves of sparks from stamped parts, the first body elements are born.

4. Primary welding is done manually using high-tech semi-automatic welding machines, more like some kind of fantastic weapon than a familiar welding machine.

5. Technology is well defined. Someone welds only the right back door, someone sidebar, someone hood. The movements of the welders are so precise that their work is more like a dance, so easily do they handle a huge welding machine suspended on a special articulated frame, balancing its weight and allowing to achieve special welding accuracy. Not unimportant is the fact that welding machines are robotic. A person just brings it to the place of welding. Power and duration of welding are programmed.

6. The result of the work of each section of the welding shop are ready-made elements of the future body. For example, side panels that are sent to another site for further welding.

7. At this stage, robots come into play. Six four-armed welding robots are working at the plant at the same time.

8. These smart and high-precision machines assemble the body of the new Ford from individual elements. It takes them several minutes to do everything about everything, during which the body is boiled from all sides, turning over several times like a feather in the robot's hydraulic hands. It looks like a scene from a sci-fi movie, but it's reality - machines make machines.

9. All body parts come already galvanized. Therefore, the assembled, but not yet painted Ford already looks attractive, gleaming with silvery edges. After the welding robots, the conveyor delivers the bodies back to the person.

10. Here, thresholds are welded on two parallel lines and then the baton is passed back to the robots. So, as a result of the joint work of people of machines, the body of a brand new Ford Focus and Ford Mondeo is created.

11. Before continuing on their way, the assembled bodies are sent to check the geometry at a special Carl Zeiss stand. Permissible deviation from the norm - tenths of a millimeter. Every third assembled body is checked. Bodies that have not passed the test are mercilessly rejected, but such cases are extremely rare.

12. Successfully passed body checks are sent to the primary assembly conveyor. Here they are overgrown with a hood, trunk lid, fenders and, of course, doors. This does not happen immediately, but gradually as you move along the conveyor. For example, in this area a rear left door, and a little later the front right, and then the left fender and so on.

13. Thanks to this approach, the assembler does not spread himself over several types of work, but performs only one operation, bringing the accuracy and efficiency of his actions to perfection. Periodically there is a rotation of personnel in order to avoid "cycling" of employees on only one type of work.

14. The body assembled on the primary conveyor is sent to the painting shop, access to which is strictly closed to any unauthorized persons, in order to avoid even the slightest dust ingress. Painting takes several hours, after which the Ford assembly continues on the next conveyor, where in 2 hours and 42 minutes it will look like a finished car from a painted piece of iron.

15. At the initial stage, the doors are removed from the painted body. They will join it again after the installation of window lift mechanisms, the windows themselves and door locks, noise insulation, upholstery and other elements, depending on the configuration.

16. While this is happening, the body itself is overgrown with sound insulation, seals, electrical wiring lines, airbags, a pedal block, brake pipes, air-conditioned. In order for the assembly worker to know what parts he needs to install on a particular car, a manifest is fixed on the body - a special document on the vehicle configuration.

17.

18. The further the car moves along the conveyor, the more it takes on the appearance of a finished product. It is important to note that if during the assembly process, suddenly, something went wrong, for example, the worker dropped the fixing bolt into the internal cavity of the car, then he must immediately inform the shift supervisor about this and make a note in the corresponding document. The car, depending on the situation, is either immediately removed from the line, or the defect is eliminated later. In particular, attempts will be made to shake out the fallen bolt and somehow remove it. In any case, a car with a jingling foreign object in the body cavity will not fall into the hands of the end consumer.

19. Each new section adds new details to the car. So on the future Ford appears grille, upholstery, dashboard, controls and more. Here, on a par with people, another robot works - a glass installer. It is used for greater accuracy in applying the adhesive and the complete elimination of leaks during operation. The list of installed parts is huge and reaches several hundred, if not thousands, of positions. When using a car, its owner does not even suspect how much work has been done to create it.

20. Next, the car goes to the so-called "chassis" line, where the engine and transmission are installed on it. There is a "marriage" or "wedding" - this is how the assemblers call the moment of connection between the transmission and the body.

22. Here, fully assembled doors are returned to it, seats and other final elements are installed.

23. Completely finished car enters the control room. Here, the assembly quality is checked, the joints are examined, the quality of the paint and varnish coating, the operation of electronic systems, lighting devices is checked.

24. Surprisingly, a lot of women work at the factory. By reducing labor intensity production processes all kinds of work became available to the fair sex. They work on a par with men in all areas, with the exception of perhaps the welding shop.

25. The final chord is filling process fluids. This happens at the same control post after the completion of all verification actions. However, car checks do not end there, but rather, on the contrary, they are just beginning.

26. Having reached this stage, the assembled Ford can already move on its own and is placed at the disposal of an employee who will check it on the move. Here every few minutes you can hear a horn signal - a safety requirement. Before starting the movement, the test driver is obliged to honk and only after that start moving.

27. First test bench for assembled car called Niagara. Here, the tightness of all seals and the quality of glass gluing are checked. Similar to automatic car wash high pressure, only the pressure here is much more powerful and the spray system is an order of magnitude more complicated. Water is supplied from different sides and from different angles.

28. Before leaving the factory premises, cars are dynamically tested on a roll test, where the car is accelerated on rollers up to 110 km / h to check the operation of the engine and gearbox. The next step is the test track. Its purpose is to discover extraneous noise associated with assembly flaws. The track is a segment of the road, 200 meters long, with various types of coverage that simulate different options that a car may encounter during operation, for example, paving stones, wooden posts, multi-level concrete slabs, and so on. And according to different types coatings must move at a strictly defined speed.

29. It is noteworthy that many women work here too.

30. Another control point is a vibration-temperature stand. This is a special chamber in which a car can be frozen to extremely low temperatures, simulating weather northern region. At the same time, the hydraulic installation, which consists of four independent vibrating columns, allows you to thoroughly shake the car. Cars are selected for such a test either selectively or at the signal of a tester who did not like something as a result of testing on the track.

31. Upon completion of all tests and checks, the end user receives a car with the famous Ford quality. In 2015 Vsevolozhsky Ford plant Sollers launched two models at once: the new generation Ford Mondeo and the Ford Focus 4. It is worth talking about the latest Ford Focus in more detail. Since its first appearance, Ford Focus has been a bestseller in its class on the Russian market for seven years in a row. It was repeatedly called the best car of the year, winning 18 awards in Russia. For 13 years of the history of the model in Russia, he has collected over 700,000 grateful clients.

The fourth generation Ford Focus has absorbed the best of previous generations, including the traditional reliability inherent in cars of this brand. It is a dynamic and comfortable car, which is equipped with new and improved technologies, a new engine, and is also specially adapted for Russian market. How else? After all, he is going to Russia and for Russia. Exactly because of this reason Russian Ford Focus has the following features:
- engines are certified for AI-92;
- additional sound insulation;
- increased ground clearance;
- winter package;
- multimedia system with management in Russian;
- testing for Russian roads including winter test.

The fourth Ford Focus is equipped with a number of technical innovations:
- multimedia system SYNC 2 with voice control in Russian, navigation and traffic indicator in more than 50 cities of the Russian Federation
- advanced parking assistance system Active Park Assist with the function of parallel and perpendicular parking, assistance when leaving the parking lot and monitoring the space around the car at 360º;
- system automatic switching low / high beam;
- adaptive bi-xenon headlights;
- Rear View Camera;
- Ford MyKey® - the owner can program individual keys with the necessary settings;
- Ford EcoMode ® - helps the driver to change the driving style to reduce fuel consumption and harmful emissions;
- Ford Powershift® - preselective automatic transmission;
- assistance system when starting on the rise (Hill Launch Assist);
- tire pressure monitoring system.
And all this is inside a modest, but very stylish and attractive car, which is assembled for Russians on Russian plant citizens of Russia.

32. The novelty is equipped with a completely new modern EcoBoost engine, which provides excellent dynamics, low consumption fuel and CO2 emissions.

33. But, of course, the Vsevolozhsk plant of Ford Sollers is, first of all, people. In order for the new Ford Focus and Mondeo to continuously roll off the assembly line, 1,500 employees work daily in the workshops of the plant, whose professionalism and responsibility directly affect the quality of the cars produced, the positive emotions of their future owners, including road safety.

Ford Explorer is a full-size crossover produced by an American company. The first generation appeared on the world market in 1990.

The car has already changed five modifications, and is not becoming less popular. She has undergone significant changes, and now she was recognized as the best mid-size jeep, costing more than 50 thousand dollars.

But, some are afraid to buy this car, because they do not know where it is made. So in this article we will look at where the Ford Explorer is assembled for the Russian market, and how our assembly differs from the European one.

Where are Ford's factories located around the world?

Ford has built factories all over the world. The most famous of them are productions in:

  • Germany;
  • Poland;
  • Russia;
  • England;
  • Turkey
  • America;
  • Spain;
  • Mexico;
  • Belgium;
  • Argentina;
  • Canada.

Russian-made cars are made exclusively for our market, and are not exported.

Description of the plant where the Ford Explorer is assembled in Russia

In a small town in Tatarstan called Yelabuga, a Ford plant has been operating since April 2012. Almost all models are assembled here, including the Ford Explorer.

Assembly at the enterprise goes on a full cycle. It used to be called Severstal-Avto, and the British chose it due to low taxes, free connections to electrical networks and the almost zero cost of land, of which there is a lot.

Ford Mondeo and Ford Focus have long been assembled in full cycle. But, not in Yelabuga, but in Vsevolzhsk. Ford Explorer became the third model in this list. The company spent $100 million on its production lines. This is very little.

In fact, it is very difficult to call production at the plant a full cycle. There is no stamping here. It is worth noting that only panels come ready-made. Our masters weld and paint them. When the body is obtained, the rest of the units are attached here.

The body is welded for nine hours. In total, Ford Explorer has 55 assembly lines. The parts are not cooked by robots, but by people with special equipment. To reduce the number of errors that handmade cannot be avoided, the company has a laboratory for changing the geometry of the body. Here, 800 points are analyzed, and if they deviate from the norm by more than 1.5 millimeters, everything is redone. Only two bodies are checked per shift. Therefore, the laboratory works selectively.

The engine for the Ford Explorer is not assembled at the Russian plant. He comes to us already assembled. The interesting thing is that with the help of the QLS electronic system, you can look at how the car you bought was made at any stage.

After assembly, the Ford Explorer is tested at the test site. All cars make five laps. Of course, they don’t accelerate the car on the track, but check it for squeaks and noises. The test circle is covered with a canopy and teeming with various obstacles. On some sections there are signs for 20, 40 and 50 kilometers, and no more. For five laps, the driver will be able to hear all the knocks and noises. And, if only selected bodies are checked for geometry, then all cars are tested on the track.

Please note that before the model enters the salon official dealer, it can roll up to 50 kilometers. If the mileage on the speedometer remains zero, then know that the factory has the right to twist the meter when the car has not traveled 200 kilometers. Selectively, some models pass a test drive in off-road or city conditions. In this case, a paper will appear in the glove compartment of the new car, certifying that the model was checked.

Our factory assembles the Ford Explorer Sport with a gasoline engine and a power of 360 horsepower. They reconfigure the suspension, remake the power steering and install new springs. This version costs from 2158 thousand rubles. In addition to the above, Russian assembly differs from the European 10 adjustment functions driver's seat and a program for monitoring dead zones.

Also, you can find on the market Ford Explorer X El Ti of our assembly. He is budget model. The cost of such a machine starts from 1 million 798 thousand rubles. A 294-horsepower engine is installed under the hood. But, do not think that this model is less comfortable than its European counterpart. There are seven seats, climate control, security curtains and heated seats.

In appearance, our and European modification can be identified with the help of wheels and a radiator grille.

Ford factory problems

In the European market, some car companies have to take forced measures due to the crisis. A few months ago, the Ford concern closed another plant, which is located in Belgium. This enterprise is actually very large, and no one expected such a turn of events.

But that is not all bad news for the Ford company. Two of their factories in the UK will soon close. We are talking about assembly shops in Southampton and Dagenham. Thus, the concern is trying to recover the losses. According to the latest data, this year they will amount to 1.2 million euros.

Mass layoffs of workers, of course, will not affect the assembly of cars in any way, but they will hit the image of the company. In Southampton, about 500 employees will be laid off. In Dagenham, 1,000 people will lose their jobs.

On this moment in England alone, the Ford plant employs approximately 11.4 thousand people. After the closure of two enterprises, a workshop for assembling motors and gearboxes will remain in this country.

The last time the factories stopped ten years ago. Then 2000 people were fired. The reason for the closure is known to all. It turns out that production both this and last time was unprofitable. For example, Southampton can produce 200,000 cars a year. Now even a third does not leave the assembly line.

The head of the European representative office of the Ford company does not comment on the situation. But, he is going to hold a conference with representatives of British industries. British parliamentarians note that they are very concerned about the fate of enterprises. Indeed, in this case, many people will be left without work. And the industry in the UK will also suffer.

After the factories close, Ford's output will drop by 18% as more than 355,000 units will not be produced. But, it will save more than 500 million euros annually.

Recall that last year the company closed production in Belgium in the city of Genk. Then 4.3 thousand people were left without work. The equipment was transferred from the factory to Germany. Thus, representatives of the company want to save another 700 million euros.

In general, the directorate of the concern wants to leave exactly as many plants in the world as it corresponds to real demand. Further decisions will depend only on the overall economic situation.

The Russian plant will not be touched yet. After we started assembly, sales went up by 38%.

Henry Ford ( Henry Ford) is the greatest personality in automotive history.

Once upon a time, it was he who, while still a boy, working on his father's farm, flopped hard from his horse. The incident occurred in the USA, in the state of Michigan on the outskirts of the city of Dearborn, in 1872. Having risen to the ground after a fall, Henry set a goal in his life to create a type of transport for people that would be safe, comfortable, unlike carts (carriages) with horses or just riding while sitting on a saddle.

Ford Motor Company.

Having matured, Henry Ford teamed up with his 11 friends, enthusiasts like himself. On June 16, 1903, they all gathered together start-up capital in the amount of $28,000 and applied to set up a manufacturing plant in Michigan.

So there was Ford company motor company. Her first automotive invention there was a "gasoline sidecar", which was branded "Model A" and was driven by an eight-horsepower engine.

10 years after the first release of the car, Henry Ford was called the genius all over the world, who gave the entire earthly society the first car available to every person - the Ford T. In addition, Ford Motor Company is the very first company in the world to introduce conveyor production cars. Due to technological advances and constant innovation, Ford was able to reduce the price of the Tin Lizzy from $850 to $290.

So what is the secret of automotive success? manufactured by Ford Motor Company, which has been going on for over a hundred years? Henry Ford created his company, dreamed of inventing such a car, the price of which in total would be the annual salary of a simple worker who worked at a car assembly plant in Detroit.

Henry Ford's very first car was the Model A.

The Ford company in its entire history, which has endured for about 140 years and has undergone great changes. But, despite this, the most important principles of production work remained unchanged - cars for people should be affordable, modern and reliable.

Henry Ford was born July 30, 1863 in Springfield, Michigan. His parents were named William and Mary Ford (William and Mary Ford), who had six children. Henry was the oldest of them. My father and mother owned a farm, which flourished. Therefore, all the childhood of the future genius was spent on the family farm, where Henry went to an ordinary rural school, and after that he helped his parents with the housework.

When Henry was 12 years old, he built a small workshop for himself, in which he spent all his free time with great pleasure. A few years later, he will create his first steam engine, designed in this workshop.

most famous and popular car of the last century - Ford T. It is thanks to the series of this brand that the car has turned from a toy for the rich into a means of transportation that is available to everyone.

Henry Ford takes a job as an assistant machinist, moving to Detroit in 1879. Three years later he moved to Dearborn, where he designed and repaired for about five years. steam engines, but occasionally moonlighting at a plant in Detroit. After 9 years, Ford marries Clara Bryant and in 1888 he successfully occupies one of the leading positions at the sawmill.

Three years later, in 1891, Ford became an engineer at the Edison Illuminating Company, and two more years later he was promoted to chief engineer. Now Ford has more free time plus a very decent income. Thanks to this, Henry was able to devote more time to the creation of an internal combustion engine.

The first version of the engine was developed in the kitchen, in the house of Ford himself. After that, he fastened it to a four-wheel bicycle frame. The result is a quad bike. In 1896, it was he who became the first Ford car. In 1899, Henry Ford left Edison Illuminating to form his own company, Detroit Automobile. A year later, the company will go bankrupt, but despite this, Ford will have time to produce several models. racing cars. Also in October 1901, Ford would take part in the auto race, where he would become the winner, overtaking the then current US champion Alexander Winton (Alexander Winton).

Model T was produced in the form of a convertible, pickup truck, passenger car and other types of models. Ford Motor was formed in 1903. Henry Ford founded the company along with 12 founders from Michigan. Ford himself was at the head of the company, holding the position of vice president and chief engineer, and he also owned a controlling stake of 25 percent.

To create a car manufacturing plant, the company bought the Mack Avenue van factory in Detroit and converted it to its line of business. Ford hired teams of workers of 2-3 people under his management and they made auto parts to order.

On July 23, 1903, the first Ford car was sold. The first model was the "gas sidecar" or Model A, powered by an eight horsepower engine. On the market, the car was assigned as a simple and affordable car, on which even a teenager at the age of 15 can sit behind the wheel. Thereafter, Henry Ford became the principal owner and chief president of Ford Motor.

Thanks to the first representatives of the company Schreiber, Thornton, Perry (Schreiber, Thornton, Perry) from the UK in 1907, the Ford logo was invented in the form of an oval. He characterized Ford cars as a symbol of reliability, efficiency and personified the "brand of the highest standard."

Henry Ford directed common work production. Over the next five years, under his management, nineteen letters from Model A to Model S were involved, some of which remained at the initial or research levels and did not reach the level of production and release to the market.

Henry Ford was able to fulfill his dream only in 1908. He released the Tin Lizzy model (Tin Lizzy, as the Americans affectionately called her) - Model T. This car model has become the most famous in the history of the auto industry. The base price of the car was $260. Eleven thousand Model T cars were sold during the first year of production. Its appearance on the market meant new era or the evolution of the mode of transport.

Ford cars did not require complex Maintenance, they could even drive over rough rural roads, in general, they were easy to drive. As a result, the demand for the car was constantly growing, and it became an object of mass production.

Also, on the main base of the Model T building, cars of other modifications are produced: minibuses, ambulances, small freight transport, small vans, etc. In addition, a version was also made for a military ambulance.

With the increase in labor productivity and product quality, consumer demand from buyers also grew. Henry Ford becomes the very first in the world who decided to introduce an assembly line into automobile production. Thanks to him, the worker, staying in one place, performed only one operation, so every ten seconds a completely new Model T descended from the assembly line. The assembly line was one of the significant stages in the manufacturing revolution.

Family company.

Henry Ford, along with his son Adsel Ford, in 1919 bought shares in Ford Motor Company from other founders of the enterprise for $105,568,858, after which the company became their family firm, and the Fords were its sole owners. In addition, Edsel Ford inherited the position of chief president of Ford Motor from his father, a position he held until he died suddenly in 1943. In the future, after the death of his son, Henry Ford has to again lead the management of the company.

Ford Fordor Deluxe - also became a wildly popular car model in its time.

In 1927, the Model A became the first to feature the Ford logo on the grille in an oval silhouette. Most Ford vehicles until the late fifties were produced with a dark blue badge logo, which is now known to many buyers. But, despite the fact that the oval pattern was approved as the official logo of the company, it was not applied to cars until the mid-seventies.

Constant progress and an accelerated lifestyle of a person, forced the company to introduce technology innovations and increase capacities. Ford Motor Company has always tried to keep up with the times.

In 1932, the company introduced the public to the V-shaped 8-cylinder engine. April 1st of the same year Ford became the first to produce such a monolithic engine. A series of cars with this engine has become the most popular among most Americans.

There is an assumption that our "Seagull" is a copy of the Ford Fairlane. What do you think?

In the same Ford- has become the most common car, due to its maintainability and auto parts available in US stores. In 1934 - were released trucks Ford (with a fully modified engine) for large cities and working farms.

After, with every year of popularity personal transport people also have a safety problem in cars. Ford does not get past this problem. He again becomes the one who is the very first to use safety glass in the production of a car. The main principle of the company's general policy has been and remains concern for human life.
