Technical characteristics of the Nissan Qashqai 2.0 engine. Choosing the New Nissan Qashqai, comparing three engines and two configurations

30.07.2019

Meet the Month Nissan Qashqai passed casually and without much emotion. Every morning I got into the car and went on trips around Moscow and the region, and in the evening I turned off the engine, closed the doors and went home. And you know, this is one of the few cars that you didn’t want to turn around after a few meters.

For a month, almost three thousand kilometers flew under the wheels of the Qashqai. And completely different kilometers. There were highways and dirt roads, and muddy mud and even sand pits. And Nissan Qashqai overcame all this without any problems.

On the highway, the crossover is obedient and dynamic enough, on minor roads- quite comfortable and well managed. Even off-road Qashqai is not helpless: 20 centimeter ground clearance allows you not to be afraid of a deep rut, and helps out on unstable surfaces all-wheel drive transmission. However, in automatic mode the reaction time of the multi-plate clutch to slip turns out to be a little longer than we would like: with a sharp start from a place, you can “dig in” until you connect rear wheels.

Not every crossover can boast of a clearance of 200 millimeters. Unpainted "skirt" around the perimeter is easily bent without any consequences

But on the move, with a forcibly locked clutch, Qashqai makes its way forward very confidently. Any primers that summer residents drive on, any paths that noisy companies go on picnics on weekends, and any curbs that crossover owners like to climb so much, Qashqai storms fearlessly. The main limiter to the geometric patency is usually a long front overhang. To shorten it by five centimeters, and from "Kashkai" it would turn out to be a very good "rogue".

The protective body kit around the perimeter regularly performs its tasks - there are no traces of branches on it. And the plastic in the lower part of the machine, upon contact with an obstacle, only pliably sags without cracking or breaking. At least in relatively light frost.

Surprisingly, despite the average dynamics and a completely unincendiary character, which tunes rather for a measured ride, the crossover turned out to be quite voracious. The average fuel consumption of the test car for that month was 12.4 liters per 100 kilometers. This is only 0.3 liters less than the SEAT Altea Freetrack crossover minivan we tested earlier, and only a couple of liters less than the 333-horsepower Audi S5 Sportback. Despite the fact that the "Seat" is able to accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour almost three seconds faster, and the "es-five" - six seconds! It is hard to imagine how melancholy and at the same time uneconomical Nissan modification Qashqai with a 117-horsepower 1.6-liter engine.

Of course, it is not easy for an atmospheric two-liter engine paired with a CVT to carry a one and a half ton crossover. More or less provocatively, Qashqai accelerates only when the accelerator pedal is recessed “to the floor”. Or when the variator is fixed on one of the "pseudo gears". And in all other situations, the dynamics are so-so.

The variator takes some getting used to. When overtaking, it is better to swing the transmission lever towards yourself several times. Do not be afraid to twist the motor, the electronics will not allow

By itself, the CVT on the Nissan Qashqai is not bad: imitating the operation of a conventional “automatic”, it tries not to “freeze” at constant speed during acceleration and carefully selects the optimal gear ratio for a specific situation. In addition, the car responds adequately to the fuel supply even with measured driving. However, if you need to accelerate sharply, it is better to take control of the transmission into your own hands: by swinging the gearbox selector towards yourself a couple of times, you can force the Qashqai to maintain sufficiently high speeds at which the car will drive more cheerfully, and the reaction to the gas will become much sharper.

By the end of the test, we changed the Qashqai into winter tires - studded Nokian tires Hakkapeliitta 5, in connection with which the behavior of the car on the pavement has noticeably deteriorated. Pleasant "summer" handling suddenly gave way to fuzzy reactions, "zero" was smeared, the car became worse to keep the high-speed straight. The pause between the control action of the steering wheel and the entrance to the turn stretched like chewing gum.

Winter tires are bad for any car. Qashqai on them turned into a real "scumbag"

So if you suddenly find yourself behind the wheel of a Qashqai that doesn’t steer well, do not rush to blame the car for everything, but first pay attention to what tires it is shod with. Tires, as it turned out, greatly affect the handling character of the Japanese crossover.

What other expenses await Nissan owner Qashqai in addition to buying winter wheels(the cost of which, however, we do not include in our "estimate")? You will have to spend money on CASCO and OSAGO insurance, pay transport tax and drive to the dealer for TO-1. In addition, with a run of 20,000 kilometers per year with an average fuel consumption of 12.4 liters per 100 kilometers, Qashqai will require almost 2.5 cubic meters of fuel - 2480 liters of AI-95, which in Moscow now costs an average of 31 rubles.

We usually do not include purchase and installation costs in the cost of annual operation. winter tires. However, we note that 17-inch tires Nokian Hakkapeliitta 5 for Qashqai will cost a pretty penny: about 40,000 rubles together with tire fitting services (but excluding the cost of rims)

As usual, we calculate the cost of CASCO and OSAGO insurance for a driver over 22 years old, with more than three years of accident-free driving experience, registered in Moscow.

A happy owner of Nissan Qashqai will have to pay about 90,000 rubles for a CASCO policy in an insurance company with a rating of “A + and above”. A mandatory OSAGO policy will cost 4,712 rubles. According to the transport tax, Qashqai, due to its not very high power, falls into the category where each horsepower costs 30 rubles (4230 rubles). But from 2013, the tax rate per horsepower for cars with a capacity of 120 to 150 horsepower will increase to 35 rubles. The transport tax will also increase to 4935 rubles. For TO-1 with a run of 15,000 kilometers (or once a year) official dealer will require about 8000 rubles.

Nissan Qashqai 2.0 4WD owner's expenses in the first year of operation

Total: 184 527 rubles Kilometer run (only fuel): 3.84 rubles. Kilometer run (including all expenses, including CASCO): 9.23 p. Kilometer of run (including all expenses, except for CASCO): 4.73 rubles.

In terms of first-year ownership costs, the Nissan Qashqai is quite comparable to golf-class hatchbacks. That's just an appetite of 12.4 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers will require b O more expenses. Yes, and CASCO insurance for Qashqai, as a rule, costs a little more - due to the higher price and rather high ranking theft.

Nissan Qashqai can be bought not only new, but also "used". The spread of prices for secondary market, however, is very large: from 500,000 rubles for the pre-styling Qashqai of the earliest years of production (2007-2008) with a mileage of 100,000 kilometers and more, up to a million rubles for very fresh copies of 2010-2011, “running” 20-30 thousand kilometers.

In general, at the cost of a kilometer mileage Qashqai cost exactly twice as much as full SUV Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 5.7-liter V8, and will be less expensive than a pseudo-crossover minivan Seat Leon Altea Freetrack, the cost of which will be 10-20 percent higher.

Who can compete with Nissan Qashqai in the fight for the title of the most practical crossover? Five years after the appearance of the Qashqai, the Japanese car had plenty of competitors.

Mitsubishi ASX

Minimum price for Mitsubishi ASX 2012 release in basic configuration Inform, including discounts, is 699,000 rubles. For this money you will get a 1.6 engine (117 horsepower), front-wheel drive, 16-inch steel discs, fabric interior and air conditioning. ASX 1.6 is only on the "handle". But in the expensive Intense configuration, such a car will already cost 829,990 rubles. Prices for a front-wheel drive ASX with a more powerful (140 hp) 1.8 engine and CVT range from 849,990 to 969,990 rubles. The 2-liter version comes with CVT and all-wheel drive only. There are five trim levels: from the simplest Invite (1,009,990 rubles) to the “top” Exclusive (1,279,990 rubles).

KIA Sportage

Korean company KIA one of the few offering turbodiesel engines for compact crossover. All diesel Sportage with 136-horsepower 2.0 are only all-wheel drive and only with "automatic", and cost from 1,099,900 rubles to 1,239,000 rubles. The richest Premium version will cost 1.3 million, but the turbodiesel in this modification will be boosted to 184 horsepower. All gasoline modifications are equipped with a 2.0 atmospheric engine (150 forces). Such a Sportage in a front-wheel drive version with a mechanical transmission costs from 879,900 to 989,900 rubles, on an “automatic” - from 929,900 to 1,039,900 rubles. Sportage with all-wheel drive on the "handle" will cost at least 1,059,900 rubles. "Automatic" will increase the cost of the car by another 50 thousand.

Renault Duster

"Killer" of all inexpensive crossovers- Duster - you can buy for only 449,000 rubles for the basic front-wheel drive version 1.6 (102 forces) with a five-speed manual gearbox. The most affordable all-wheel drive option - with the same engine and six-speed "mechanics" - will cost only 50 thousand rubles more. A two-liter engine in combination with all-wheel drive will increase the price of the Duster to 644 thousand rubles, and this crossover does not yet have an option with all-wheel drive and an “automatic”. But there is a 1.5-liter diesel engine, which, in combination with a 4x4 transmission and “mechanics”, will cost from 619 thousand rubles.

Peugeot 3008

A worthy alternative to Qashqai is the Peugeot 3008 compact van, made in the style of a crossover. Unfortunately, there is no all-wheel drive version of this model in Russia, but the prices for the French “pseudo-jeep” are quite good: from 807 thousand rubles for 1.6 (120 forces) and “mechanics”, up to 1 million with a little for a 150-horsepower turbo engine of that the same volume and "automatic". And there is also a diesel version, which is complete with automatic transmission transmission costs from 947 to 1.1 million rubles.

Finally a full review of the Nissan Qashqai! This crossover is more than once, but not in the review format. We correct the omission by adding a comparison of three motors along the way and different configurations car. So, "all-all-all" details about the new Nissan Qashqai.

Positioning

The compact crossover Nissan Qashqai appeared more than 10 years ago and then he opened a class named after himself: as the manufacturer himself describes it, it is “a crossover with the costs of a C-class hatchback.” Which is not without truth: the car looked like a crossover, but was estimated only slightly more expensive than a regular hatch; and in the case of front-wheel drive versions (which account for the majority of sales), the Nissan Qashqai pleased low flow fuel and maintenance costs. This approach has worked well: Qashqai has been on the list of the most popular cars Europe and finds many fans in Ukraine.

DebutNissan Qashqaithe first generation took place in 2007, a planned update took place in 2010; it is interesting that in the range of the model for a short time there was a 7-seater versionNissan Qashqai+2 with extended body. At the end of 2013, the second generation debutedNissan Qashqai, and in the past 2017, the model underwent an update.

The material presents different versions Nissan Qashqai: the main test car is blue with a 2-liter gasoline engine, automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, maximum configuration. Also added are versions with a 1.2 liter turbocharged gasoline engine and a 1.6 liter turbodiesel; plus average equipment; in detail - I will write in the text.

How does it ride?

Rides interesting, although not without nuances; I don't mean "good" or "bad", I mean in general. Initially the second Nissan generation The Qashqai had well-medium suspension settings for comfort and handling. But during the update, it seems that the car was made a little tougher: it was like that, there are such observations now. If you like a more "collected" character of the car, if you want to get less roll, if you enjoy a light, but transparent and responsive steering wheel, then updated Nissan Qashqai gives it. The crossover seems to have ceased to be the “best option”, it has erupted its own character: I am Qashqai!

Retribution is familiar: the suspension may seem harsh; but this only applies to the rear and the passage of small bumps. On the other hand, the rear suspension is ready for heavy loads: if two or three people constantly drive in the back of the car, if there are a lot of bags and suitcases in the trunk, then the rigidity of the rear suspension goes away, while the Nissan Qashqai does not sink much and does not “rub” with mudguards . Everything is good with the front: springs and shock absorbers work out the terrain well broken roads, driver and front passenger feel comfortable. Do you want to get optimally medium suspension again even with a light load? The recipe is familiar and simple: choose 17-inch wheels with more high profile- I was able to ride a little on such cars and they give more comfort, without a significant loss in handling.

NewNissan Qashqaibegan to look like a “serious guy” and the character to match: not yet a hard-sporty crossover, like some in the class, but no longer shy of himself. Changes in appearance are noticeable: a completely new front end (bumper, headlights, grille); new body colors (light blue test car) and others wheel disks; rear bumper changed and embossed 3 appearedD-lanterns.

With a 2.0-liter 144-horsepower engine, the test Nissan Qashqai should potentially turn into a “heated crossover” - right? Not really. The motor is good with linear thrust without failures: how much you pressed the accelerator, how many revolutions there are - you got so much power. But you can feel it only if you put the variator in manual mode or do not regret pressing the accelerator pedal. Indeed, under normal driving conditions, the variator tries to do everything as smoothly and softly as possible, it is in a hurry to change the gear ratio and lower the speed to reduce fuel consumption. It is the variator that sets you up for a softly leisurely driving style in general. Why then the motor "2.0"?

For certainty. When overtaking, digging in snow or mud, for rare (but suddenly necessary) sharp starts from a traffic light. One has only to push the accelerator and step over the mark of 3-3.5 thousand rpm, as it turns out that the engine pulls powerfully and the car accelerates well. And if you don’t regret and “stomp” as it should, then with dynamic acceleration the variator allows you to spin the engine up to 5-6 thousand rpm and the car will show itself at full power - in this mode, the Nissan Qashqai turns out to be commendably fast, and it sounds good. It's a pity, but the CVT version with a 2-liter engine is deprived of the intermediate "Ds" mode, which allows you to slightly "tighten" the gear ratio and increase the speed for a more dynamic ride. But the 1.6 liter turbodiesel has such an option - and this is a great bunch! If this engine is without problems, then it turns the more compact Nissan Qashqai into a pleasantly dynamic crossover for every day: quick responses to pressing the gas pedal, picking up even from 1.5-2 thousand rpm, a good start from a standstill or acceleration to move - he is good literally at every point. Against the background of the “big brothers”, the 1.2-liter gasoline turbo engine is lost in matters of power and dynamics, but is clearly not lost in matters of purpose: this good option for a leisurely ride, city traffic jams, a standard "cell" on the highway - he knows his business and saves fuel.

Test car with a 2.0 liter petrol engine with 144 hp. - this is the “on / off” mode: either it rides gently and slowly and saves fuel, or you need to spur it on the gas pedal - then you will get maximum power and good acceleration. But if you always want to drive dynamically, take a 1.6-liter turbodiesel: despite the lower power (130 hp), it has a huge traction reserve (320 Nm) at medium speeds; and the variator allows you to slightly “warm up” the driving style using the “Ds"(the 2.0 engine does not have this - there is only a traditional gear selection in manual mode). As a result, for real life- the diesel version seems even more "alive" than the 2.0 liter gasoline engine. The 1.2 liter engine against this background is an option for the city and traffic jams, leisurely driving on the highway, low fuel consumption, low purchase prices. Each version has an ECO-mode button, which cuts the dynamics a little, but also allows you to reduce consumption.

A similar mood is supported by the interior, where the main new thing is a D-shaped steering wheel with a beveled bottom: a nice thin rim and a lot of buttons on the spokes (you get used to it quickly, then it’s convenient). The rest is the traditional Nissan Qashqai interior: a lot of soft plastic and soft panel shapes. But as soon as you start to look closely at the details, the salon will surprise you, it exceeds the initial expectations! For example: all power window buttons - with backlight and AUTO mode; there is an orange backlight near the automatic transmission lever; Has electric heating windshield; there are additional niches in the armrest. In the on-board computer menu there is a page with tire pressure control and steering wheel force setting - “sport” or “standard” (depending on sport mode the steering wheel becomes a little heavier, but my choice is still for the best option"standard"). The maximum version with a custom NAPPA interior offers a memory setting for seats and mirrors. When you look around the Nissan Qashqai cabin, you find a lot of nice details, thanks to which this car outperforms many models more than high class. If you describe the salon in a couple of words, then these will be the words “comfort” and “thoughtfulness”.

The salon has retained the overall design, but sets the mood new steering wheel- stylish and comfortable. The menu of the multimedia system has changed a little, but not its functionality in general: navigation, audio system, phone connection, auxiliary functions.

The seats are comfortable regardless of version and upholstery; custom interior with leatherNAPPAoffers memory settings. A lot of pleasant things: a heated windshield, a comfortable niche in the armrest, an adjustment of the force on the steering wheel, an illumination of the automatic transmission lever zone.

Sorry, but rear end shows the subordination between two Nissan models - Qashqai and X-Trail: in the junior crossover Nissan Qashqai, there is simply “enough space” in the back, there are no seat adjustments; it's a shame, but even the ventilation deflectors were lost during the upgrade. Although these are all comments only against the background of how the Nissan Qashqai spoiled the front of the cabin - after all, within the class, the rear row of seats looks quite normal. A similar situation can be traced in the arrangement of the trunk: when the X-Trail gives an electric drive and touch opening, the Nissan Qashqai crossover similar systems deprived. At the same time, the trunk volume is quite “within the class”, and the presence of organizer shelves makes it one of the most thoughtful trunks in its segment.

The clarifications and parallels between the two models are not accidental - they show the positioning of each car: the Nissan Qashqai is compact, but thought out to the smallest detail so that it sometimes outstrips the X-Trail. On the contrary, older Model X-Trail"takes" the spaciousness of the cabin, heated rear seats, transformation possibilities, a luxurious trunk. As a result, this forms the general conclusions around the Nissan Qashqai: a car that is good both in general and in attention to detail.

Rear seat "enough" and "within the class"; it is a pity that there is nothing more - heated seats or ventilation deflectors. The trunk is good not so much in volume (here again “within the class”) as in organization: movable shelves are a brilliance!

Is there any innovation?

The Nissan Qashqai crossover is built on the CMF platform, which is used in many Nissan models and Renault. In this case, the closest "relatives" of the model can be called or - and to general information I will not add anything new: independent suspension front; semi-independent "beam" or independent "multi-link" at the rear (depending on the type of drive); transverse arrangement of the motor; Automatic transmission in the form of a CVT-variator; front or all wheel drive. However, a couple interesting details still worth clarifying. Firstly, the Nissan Qashqai crossover can be equipped with a low-volume 1.2 DIG-T gasoline turbo engine: direct injection fuel into the cylinders (for a more accurate combustion process and reduced consumption); small working volume (reduction in consumption and emissions); the presence of a turbine (to obtain good traction and power on high revs). In a word, everything is “according to the latest fashion” of engine building, when high power is achieved not due to volume, but due to new technologies: in this case, 115 hp. (which was previously the norm for 1.6-1.8 liters) are now obtained from a 1.2-liter engine. There is also an option for the "Old Believers" - a traditional naturally aspirated 2-liter gasoline engine (as a test car) of the MR20 series with conventional distributed fuel injection. Finally, the 1.6-litre dCi turbodiesel: variable geometry turbine ( better process work and traction in a wider rev range); multipoint injection fuel (better mixing of fuel with air); graphite coating on pistons (friction losses are reduced); oil pump of variable displacement (losses on auxiliary units); there is a stop / start system (turns off and starts the engine at traffic lights to save fuel). It's not some super-innovative technology like a plug-in hybrid or an electric car, but you need to know such information in order to understand how much work the engineers do when preparing even such a massive model as the Nissan Qashqai crossover.

The car is built on a platformCMF: front independent suspension; rear - "beam" (front-wheel drive) or fully independent suspension (all-wheel drive). For crossoverNissan QashqaiThree engines are available: two petrol and one diesel. Each of them is interesting and original in its own way: low-volume engines - combine a turbine and direct fuel injection; big engine 2.0 L is the only option that combines high power with an “automatic” and all-wheel drive (a 1.6-liter turbodiesel and all-wheel drive - only with a manual transmission; for a 1.2-liter engine, there is no option with all-wheel drive at all).

By the way, about the "automatic" and all-wheel drive. The Nissan Qashqai crossover uses Jatco's proprietary X-Tronic CVT variator as an automatic transmission. Moreover, depending on the motor and the type of transmission, different variators are installed: V-belt (gasoline) or V-belt (turbo diesel). But in two cases, the essence of the variator does not change: the change in the gear ratio is carried out smoothly and continuously due to the compression and expansion of two packs of disks, between which the belt or chain scrolls. Four-wheel drive All Mode 4 × 4-i is built on the basis of friction clutch With electronic control and gives you three driving options. Firstly, the 2WD mode - in this case, the clutch is always open and the car has only front-wheel drive; The option is suitable for dry and clean roads. Secondly, the AUTO mode - in most cases the car drives on the front wheel drive, but if necessary, the electronics automatically connects the rear wheels. Again, torque distribution of up to 50% is promised on rear axle, but according to my observations (according to the LCD graph), the division of the moment reached a maximum of 70/30 with an advantage in favor of the front wheels. However, in any case, this is the most versatile mode: when starting on a slippery road, the system automatically “throws” part of the moment back to reduce the possibility of front wheel slip; when driving in snow or mud - periodically connects the rear wheels when there is a risk of "digging in the front"; etc. The logic of this all-wheel drive mode is as simple as possible: in any incomprehensible situation, press the gas - the electronics will figure it out. Finally, the third is the “LOCK” mode: in this case, the all-wheel drive clutch is always locked and the torque division is 50/50 between the front / rear axle. If you see that slippery years, snow, mud, swamp are ahead, then immediately turn on the “LOCK” mode to get a clear mechanical connection without all kinds of “dances” around the distribution of torque. By the way, a nuance: since the rigid 50/50 torque distribution (in fact, the center differential is locked) can be dangerous for the transmission, the all-wheel drive system automatically switches from “LOCK” to “AUTO” when reaching a speed of about 40 km / h.

All "machines" forNissan Qashqai- ThisCVTCVTs that differ in the details of the design, but still work smoothly, quietly, softly. The crossover offers the usual front-wheel drive or three-mode all-wheel drive: 2WD/ AUTO/ LOCK; control - using the button to the left of the steering wheel; display of the operating mode - on the instrument panel: indicators inside the tachometer or on-board computer display. The latter also gives many other useful information and allows you to configure various functions of the car.

Now a few words about the various electronic assistants". Another second generation gave a pleasant impression of a large number various auxiliary systems and functions: traffic lane control, all-round visibility system for four cameras, tracking function for “blind spots” in rear-view mirrors, automatic switching headlights "near / far". Moreover, in addition to the banal enumeration of systems, attention is paid to the study of trifles. Eg, all-round view additionally offers the MOD (Moving Object Detection) function - it recognizes moving objects in the camera's field of view, gives a warning signal (a squeak and a yellow frame outlines the picture with movement): it is very convenient when the system itself notices cars or people when parking.

Nissan Qashqai engines presented on Russian market will please anyone, since the manufacturer decided to offer three completely different motors. That is, each buyer can choose for himself what he needs. The choice of engines of the new Nissan Qashqai consists of the latest 1.2-liter turbo engine, a classic 2-liter naturally aspirated engine and a 1.6-liter diesel unit. The characteristics and design of all three Qashqai engines vary significantly.

Perhaps we will begin our description with the already well-known and proven 2-liter aspirated Qashqai. The MR20 engine model is quite advanced, since this engine appeared on Nissan only in 2005. For an engine of 10 years, this is not age.

So, the device of the power unit Nissan Qashqai 2.0 the following - the engine has an aluminum cylinder block, an aluminum cylinder head. This is a 4-cylinder 16-valve engine with two camshafts located in the cylinder head. The most pleasant thing is chain in timing drive. The minus of the 2.0 engine is the lack of hydraulic valve lifters. That is, if you heard a knock from under valve cover So it's time to adjust the valve clearances. This process is carried out by the selection of special washers or “pyataks” of various thicknesses. There is something similar on any VAZ-2108 engine.

Qashqai 2.0 engine power system - injector injection, there is a system for changing the valve timing, which adds power and efficiency to the engine on various modes work. Further more detailed characteristics Nissan engine Qashqai 2.0

Engine Nissan Qashqai 2.0 16V (gasoline) characteristics, fuel consumption, dynamics

  • Working volume - 1997 cm3
  • Number of cylinders - 4
  • Number of valves - 16
  • Cylinder diameter - 80.4 mm
  • Stroke - 90.1 mm
  • Power hp / kW - 144/106 at 6000 rpm
  • Torque - 200 Nm at 4400 rpm
  • Compression ratio - 11.2
  • Maximum speed - 194 kilometers per hour
  • Acceleration to the first hundred - 9.9 seconds
  • Fuel consumption in the city - 10.7 liters
  • Combined fuel consumption - 7.7 liters
  • Fuel consumption on the highway - 6 liters

It is worth noting that the presented fuel consumption data is typical for a mechanical front-wheel drive transmission (6 manual transmission 2 WD). According to the manufacturer's CVT variator fuel consumption is even less.

The following engine has a turbocharger, this is a motor with a displacement of 1.2 liters DIG-T 115 Horse power. At Nissan, the power unit is designated H5FT. Dignity this motor it could be considered more power, good torque, with minimal fuel consumption, direct fuel injection. However, there is a big minus, this is pickiness to fuel quality and a small engine resource. The 16-valve mechanism works thanks to two camshafts and chain drive Timing. The cylinder block is naturally aluminum. Whether this motor has hydraulic lifters is not known. At Nissan Qashqai, the 1.2 engine is installed only in a front-wheel drive configuration with a 6-speed mechanical box. Further characteristics of the DIG-T 1.2 H5FT motor. By the way, there is information that a more powerful DIG-T with a volume of 1.6 liters will soon appear on the Russian Qashqai, both engines are structurally the same. The difference is only in the size of the cylinders.

Engine Nissan Qashqai 1.2 16V (gasoline) specifications, fuel consumption, dynamics

  • Fuel consumption on the highway - 5.3 liters

Perhaps no less interesting. diesel engine Nissan Qashqai 1.6 liter, this is an even more economical motor with a huge torque of 320 Nm! And in this case, the timing drive is chain. The R9M engine model was developed by Renault engineers, so today you can meet this power unit not only in Qashqai. They produce a truly innovative power unit (during its design, 15 patents were issued !!!) only in France at a plant in Cleon. As on the 1.2 Qashqai engine, engineers have provided a start / stop system, which can seriously reduce emissions into the atmosphere in urban traffic jams. Due to the fact that the motor is very fresh, there is no detailed information about the device and design yet. But the fuel consumption and dynamics of the Qashqai 1.6 diesel please.

Main component Nissan success Qashqai - its availability: it cost much cheaper than its closest rivals, read, Japanese compact class crossovers. True, at the same time, it differed from them in slightly more modest dimensions. Apparently, Nissan did not want to allow the internal competition of the model with the larger X-Trail. Or the Japanese opened a new automotive segment subcompact crossovers? Most likely it was...

The geographical policy of the company also affected the popularity of Qashqai. It was created for the European market, taking into account the tastes and habits of local residents. Moreover, for the countries of the Old World and Russia it was produced in England. On the one hand, the consumer properties of the crossover fully meet our requirements, and on the other hand, it is believed that the assembly in Foggy Albion loses in quality to cars from Japan.

The car was produced in a 5-door body and was designed for five people. And since 2008, the 7-seater version, which was called Qashqai +2, went into the series.

Dealer cars were distinguished by very generous equipment. The initial configuration of the XE (front-wheel drive, 1.6 l with manual gearbox) included six airbags, air conditioning, power windows, a CD radio and heated front seats. Version LE (engine 2.0 l) additionally meant separate climate control, power mirrors, rain sensor, alloy wheels, fog lights, leather interior and ESP. The LE variant came with a 4x4 transmission.

Body and its electrical equipment

electric shock

The body resists corrosion reliably, but paintwork quickly loses its luster. A chrome-plated body parts in a year or two may lose their original appearance. Over time, the trunk release handle becomes loose. In order to get to its fasteners, you will have to remove the inner lining.

In the cabin, the coating peels off from the inside door handles and visor dashboard. With age, due to contamination of the guides, the front power windows jam. Cleaning cannot be postponed for a long time - the electric motor will burn out (from 7800 rubles).

Many complaints about an unproductive stove - warm air begins to enter the cabin only after the engine is fully warmed up. Often the resistor of the motor and the heater fan relay “burn out”. Due to the breaking of an unsuccessfully laid wiring harness, the steering column switch block fails.

Transmission

Anything but a variator...

A manual 5-speed gearbox was combined with gasoline engine 1.6 liter and 1.5 liter turbodiesel. It does not differ in special durability - by 150 thousand km of run, synchronizers are already wearing out. Repair - from 5000 rubles. But the 6-speed manual gearbox has quite a decent resource - it will easily "survive" the engine.

Clutch with 5-speed "mechanics" can withstand only 50-70 thousand km. It is noteworthy that on the Nissan Tiida, the same unit, in conjunction with a 1.6-liter engine and a mechanical 5-speed gearbox, serves even less. Maybe it's a design flaw? Again, the clutch from the 6-speed stably nurses 150 thousand km.

The hydromechanical 6-speed "automatic" Jatco JF613E, combined only with a 2-liter turbodiesel, is also considered the standard of durability - it can easily "run" 300 thousand km to overhaul. True, in order for him to "live" to such an age, you should change the oil every 60 thousand kilometers.

And now - the variator! It is produced by the same Jatco company, but is not reliable. Its longevity is directly related to driving style. You should also update the oil with a filter every 60 thousand km - a branded "transmission" is recommended Nissan CVT Fluid NS-2. Otherwise, costly repairs or even replacement of the variator may be required.

But even in gentle conditions, the pushing belt (15,000 rubles) rarely withstands more than 150 thousand km. It’s not worth pulling with a replacement - otherwise a worn belt will “pull up” the cone pulleys and the repair will pull 35,000 rubles. Along with the belt, you need to preventively update the oil pump valve.

Fails on older specimens stepper motor(6500 rubles), and the variator selector refuses to shift gears due to a breakdown of the selector lock solenoid. After 130 thousand km, the bearings of the drive and driven shafts may hum.

Engines

Two-liter is more reliable

The Qashqai was equipped with 1.6 liter (115 hp) and 2.0 liter (140 hp) gasoline engines, as well as a pair of 1.5 liter turbodiesels (106 hp, since 2008 - 103 hp) and 2.0 l (150 hp). After restyling, gasoline 1.6 and 2.0 liters began to produce 117 and 141 liters. With. respectively, and 1.5 dCi - 110 liters. With. Diesel modifications of the crossover were not officially sold with us, and there are few of them on the market.

Petrol power units they are identical in design: the blocks and cylinder heads are cast from aluminum alloy, and the gas distribution mechanism is driven by a chain. They refused hydraulic compensators in the valve drive - the gaps are regulated by the selection of washers. Sores in motors are also common. By 70–100 thousand kilometers, the rear engine mount “gets tired” (1500 rubles). Last a little longer upper supports(for 4800 rubles). At the same time, it will be necessary to change (from 4500 rubles) the silent blocks of the subframe that have worn out by this time.

And that is not all. After a “hundred”, the timing chain is stretched (2800 rubles). The harbinger of her demise, as a rule, is the camshaft position sensor, which gives an error on the dashboard. With age, seals and gaskets begin to “snot” on both units. Antifreeze leaks appear through the thermostat or at the junction of the expansion tank. Also at risk is submersible fuel pump, which comes complete with a mesh filter. It clogs, and the motor starts to choke and work intermittently. True, this is treated by elementary cleaning of the filter.

And further. With a 2-liter MR20DE engine, such a simple operation as changing spark plugs can end up very badly. The fact is that due to the slightest constriction, a very thin wall candle well may burst and then the antifreeze will enter the combustion chamber, and traffic fumes into the cooling system. As a verdict - replacement of the head of the block. Turbodiesels with a volume of 1.5 and 2.0 liters are demanding on fuel quality. From the surrogate, injection nozzles (from 7,500 rubles) and neutralizers (from 32,000 rubles) quickly “run out”. When driving in traffic jams, the valve of the exhaust gas recirculation system and the particulate filter become clogged.

Chassis and steering

Rulim with a creak

For everyone Nissan versions Qashqai - independent suspension, which is not designed for off-road - it is short-stroke and harsh. Problematic place in the chassis - thrust bearings front pillars, which are poorly protected from dust and dirt. They literally wear out to an abrasive crunch by 40–60 thousand km. True, at the same time they cost a penny - only 780 rubles each. On the first copies, quickly failing shock absorbers and hub bearings were pestered. After restyling in 2010, these parts were modernized, increasing their service life. Now shock absorbers wheel bearings overcome the milestone of 100 thousand km. The same amount was released to the ball bearings, which change as an assembly with levers.

In the steering on pre-styling cars in the cold, the electric power steering failed. Our dealers changed it free of charge as part of a recall campaign. But the steering shaft seal was never finalized, which is why when the steering wheel was turned, a creak was heard and is heard. Replacement does not help for long, so the gum is simply treated with silicone grease.

Buying?

Nissan Qashqai has enviable liquidity in our market - it loses only 5–7% of its original value per year. Therefore, you can’t buy it cheaply, and you can’t call it a problem-free Qashqai at all. To protect yourself from unplanned expenses in the future, it is advisable to purchase this crossover before 2010, when most of the sores have already been cured. The best option is a 2 liter turbodiesel with "mechanics" or "automatic". True, there are very few of them. As an alternative - a 2-liter gasoline with a manual gearbox.
