There are actually several reasons for this: the low price of a car, reliability, ease of operation, the unlimited possibility of displaying imagination for tuning the interior of the UAZ Loaf.

"Loaf" has always been highly valued among drivers and, even today, when there are a huge number of foreign SUVs on the automotive market, few wish to say goodbye to the brainchild of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. You can also borrow chairs from the following foreign cars:

It is important that the seats are not too high, otherwise it will be inconvenient to drive the car. If frequent hunting or fishing trips are planned on the Loaf, then it will not be superfluous to organize comfortable sleeping places and a folding table in the cabin. In the rear passenger compartment, it is desirable to replace the "native" lighting. There are a lot of interior ceiling lamps, it will not be difficult to quickly land any battery. The way out of this situation is as follows - replacing conventional light bulbs with LED lights.

It is quite easy and simple to lay in hard-to-reach places due to the flexibility of the material.

But such a material has drawbacks - it is highly flammable and releases harmful substances during extreme heat. Therefore, the choice of this insulation depends purely on the purpose of the car and the climatic features of the region. In addition to expanded polystyrene, penofol is also common - foamed polyethylene with a layer of foil.

Another drawback of the Loaf is a primitive dashboard with a minimum of information. In order to somehow embellish the “tidy” and make it more attractive, car owners paste over it with a film. But what about non-informative devices? In this case, only self-tuning will help. There are only two solutions: installing a new panel, for example, with GAZ-3110, or equipping the panel with additional equipment to the maximum.

You can install the following:

Also, for a constant flow of fresh air into the Loaf salon, the organization of a hatch will not be superfluous. To do this, you need a welding machine, drill, grinder. The work is quite painstaking, but the result will exceed all expectations.

UAZ-452 is a fairly simple but unique car that gives the owner absolute freedom of action, which is limited only by his own imagination and money. You can even install an automatic sofa in the car interior, purchase DVDs and various modern devices that greatly simplify life and help pass the time, relax and unwind after a long trip.

New buns are devoid of even the already meager longitudinal 3-speed adjustment of the front 2 seats. But there was an opportunity to adjust the inclination of the back. The passenger can still somehow get comfortable, but it is very difficult for the driver to do this.

Moreover, one of the ears of the front regular seat mount broke off in our bun for 500 km. The weight of the driver is quite average 80kg. Welding is very weak, the rest of the fasteners will not last long either.

We buy a set of four VAZ-2105 sleds in a store for 1200 rubles. Please note that the sleds in the kit are different! But we need it. You will also need:

We remove or move aside the regular insulation - it will interfere for now.
We try to move the seat as close to the middle of the car as possible.
Firstly, the driver will be located farther from the door, and secondly, more coaxially, if I may say so about the convenience of landing when the steering wheel is not shifted to the right. BUT! We take into account that we still need to open and close the engine hood. It won’t work out much, but 40-50mm is possible.

We cut off a protruding small triangular bracket from the runner that does not have fixation. From the strip we make 4 platforms with an M10 hole for attaching the sled. Having protected the fabric and the base of the seat with fireproof material, we weld the platforms (welding places are circled in red). We cut off regular fasteners using angle grinders. Indicated by white arrows.

We drill the necessary holes in the body with a drill, fix it with hardware.
Please note that the left long bracket (strip) has a 3rd hole in the inclined part from the side of the battery. And in the right rear plate, before installation on the body, it is necessary to put a bolt for fastening the skid.

Next, install the seat and fasten with bolts. We finally check everything. We paint the brackets (optional), protect the threads of the bolts that go inside the arch, return the insulation-noise insulation.
We have not started to do this yet, because. the machine is in operation and there are plans to strengthen the standard vibration isolation with Standardplast sheet materials, closing the unprotected places left from the installation of the slide.

The stroke was 220mm! This is more than even the old pants seats. And now access to the battery niche in one motion. There is no need to turn the backrest tilt knob.
The increase in seat height is only about 20mm.
Now the plans are to use the second half of the set of skids for the front passenger.

  • Replace dashboard;
  • Install additional equipment.

It is important that the seats are moderately compact, otherwise the control of the loaf will be inconvenient. If constant trips are planned on the vehicle, then you can even organize sleeping places or a folding table. It is desirable to modify the rear passenger compartment with new lighting. Cabin ceiling lights are able to instantly drain any batteries, so it is recommended to replace standard light bulbs with LED-type solutions.

Most car owners like the Gazelle steering wheel, but without additional alterations it will be a bit high. Alternatively, a steering wheel specially adapted for the loaf is installed. At the moment, such things can be found literally in any automotive shop. If you do not have the desire or opportunity to replace the steering wheel, it is enough to limit yourself to an ordinary rim braid.

Tuning the car interior of this model can also be thermally insulated. Not so much time will be taken to work - you just need to lay plywood, foam rubber and insulation material. Expanded polystyrene is quite suitable as a heater. It is quite light and easy to lay in hard-to-reach parts of the loaf due to the flexible properties of this material.

Also, for constantly fresh air currents, it will be possible to organize a hatch. Here the apparatus for welding, a drill and, of course, an angle grinder will be used. In our country, the classic model UAZ ("Loaf") enjoys well-deserved popularity among hunters, fishermen and travel enthusiasts. Why do they prefer a simple and at first glance inconspicuous domestic car, when there are many more stylish imported analogues?

Perhaps the main argument in favor of acquiring a "loaf" is its time-tested and expensive reliability. In addition, this car has a low cost, which is also an important factor for some Russians.
