As soon as the arrow has reached 2500 rpm, turn on a lower gear, and the arrow rises to the 3500 rpm region. Continue braking and wait until it drops to 2500 again. Again turn on the low gear and so on until the second gear, where you already slow down to a complete stop. And depress the clutch pedal when the tachometer needle approaches 1000 rpm, after which you already coast down to a complete stop of the car.

Why do you need torque when braking?

I expect from your side the question: “What is all this for? Why can't you just hit the brakes and stop?" Of course, you can just hit the brakes. But in driving a car, many actions and their consequences are probabilistic. By doing one or the other, we increase or decrease the likelihood of an accident. And braking on the principle of “just a brake” is quite safe from the point of view of braking itself, but not at all safe from the point of view of “what if something happens during braking”. I'll give you a couple of examples.

Rear collision avoidance

Let's imagine a situation: you are approaching a turn, you are going to turn left, turn on the “turn signal” and start to slow down. Your speed was, let's say, 60 km/h, you were driving in fourth gear and you brake in it. Before the start of braking, the tachometer showed something around 2000 rpm, after which the arrow went lower as the speed decreased.
