5. Remove the two retaining springs from the shoe guide.

You will need a socket wrench "17".
1. Remove the front wheel.
2. Turn out a bolt fitting 1 , disconnect from the caliper brake hose, remove the two screws 2 attaching guide pads to knuckle and remove the caliper assembly.
