Advantages and disadvantages of Hyundai Tussan 2018-2019 in a new body identified based on reviews real owners. More detailed pros and cons Hyundai Tucson 1.6 and 2.0 with mechanics, automatic, front and all-wheel drive, as well as with a diesel engine and a robot can be found in the stories below:

Owner reviews

In winter it is cold in the cabin. When setting the temperature on the display to 25 or more, in a standing position, the temperature on the instrument panel drops very quickly.

Noise isolation wheel arches, especially the rear, very weak. In the rear of the cabin, something constantly clicks, clicks, distracts attention from the road.

Sergey Mironov drives Hyundai Tucson 1.6 (177 HP) AT 2015

My height is 187 cm, I feel quite comfortable driving the new Hyundai Tussan 3, and surprisingly, sitting behind me is also comfortable and not constrained. There is enough space in the cabin for all passengers. The only negative is a small trunk (a stroller can hardly fit in), but I think this is the problem of most modern crossovers.

The review is wonderful, everything is clearly visible in the large mirrors. The wheel turns very easily. The car is controlled obediently and responsive. The work of the suspension as a whole is moderately harsh, but this is good, there are no rolls and the road holds confidently.

As for the engine and dynamics, then there is enough throttle response in the city for the eyes. Consumption of 14 liters and above, depending on how you drive. The box switches smoothly. Noise isolation on solid four, a little rumble is heard from the front arches.

Now for the cons. I still can't figure out why a $1,700,000 car doesn't deserve to have at least one electric driver's seat!? (Complete set Travel). Guys, there are “twists”, like on a nine! Not even levers. I'm not nitpicking, it's just that for this money it was possible to save on something else.

The owner drives a Hyundai Tussan 2.0 (150 hp) on a 2016 automatic.

The handling of the new Tussan is on top! The steering wheel is very precise, the car is obedient. Shumka is good, the cabin is quiet, there are no crickets at all! The landing is comfortable, the steering wheel is adjustable for height and reach, which is very convenient. On driving seat there is an electrically adjustable lumbar curve.

The device for adjusting the tilt of the seat back has strained — the usual twist. Could have just made a lever. But I was pleased with the spare full-size wheel on titanium disc. The torpedo is also pleasing to the eye. Everything is in its place and within easy reach. Dashboard — cute. The menu is in Russian, everything is simple and clear + many options.

It's very nice when a manufacturer pays attention to little things, such as coat hooks, door lock and unlock settings, headlight turn-off delay, etc.

Of course, there are also negatives. Firstly, I was surprised that the ignition key can be pulled out at any position of the automatic transmission lever. My first Korean, before that there were only Japanese, and so on the Japanese, the ignition key could be pulled out only when the automatic transmission lever was in the “P” position.

Secondly, the suspension travel is short, which I think can affect the patency of a car in the winter.

I like the dynamics of the car appearance well, just super, especially the design and light parking lights combined with a massive grille. Salon is spacious. It is comfortable to sit for both the driver and all passengers. The backrests of the rear row of seats are tilt-adjustable. The trunk is roomy, there is a retractable shelf, side niches.

The owner drives a Hyundai Tucson 2.0 (150 HP) AT 2015.

Video review

The design of the car is very pleasant. In terms of convenience, the seats are really more comfortable than they were in their predecessor, lateral support has been increased. But after the i40, there are not enough electric seat adjustments. Moreover, we are changing with my wife.

Ergonomics is also quite comfortable. The windshields have become narrower, not so obstructing the view. In terms of soundproofing, the machine has become quieter than the ix35.

We took a Hyundai Tucson 3 with all-wheel drive. In normal mode, it, like most others, is front-wheel drive. Four-wheel drive works either by itself, or you can turn it on forcibly with a button. Then it works up to 40 km / h, then turns off, when the speed decreases, it turns on again. A little on the snow checked on summer tires- rides).

According to the suspension — the machine is knocked down and not too rolly, not too hard — that's it. We drove on a dead road, it’s quiet in the cabin, there are no crickets. Another plus of the car is that it is not assembled here (cars come from Poland).

Where can I buy?

Having traveled 40,000 thousand, I only changed oils and filters according to the regulations and maintenance, no problems were observed, only ONE - in frost (or after washing in frost), the driver's door sensor stops working, that is, it is actually closed, but on the monitor it shows that No! I went to the dealer twice, but he didn’t say anything to me and won’t say anything like that.

In terms of fuel consumption in the city - 12.0 liters, it shows 7.9 liters on the highway, but this is a lie - 10 liters will be for sure!

Someone writes that it is not enough when overtaking on the highway. Here looking with what to compare. If with Gelenvagen 5.5, then yes, if with Corolla or Patriot, then it’s enough for the eyes, I’m not really worried about this.

Review of Hyundai Tussan 2.0 (150 hp) with automatic and all-wheel drive

There is enough power for the eyes, and picking up even at 120 km / h is more than worthy. The suspension is clearly softer, which is not surprising, because my previous car was a frame one (Pajero Sport).

It does not feel the track at all (up to 150 km / h), but at higher speeds you have to take the steering wheel in two hands. Average Consumption for 1,000 km it was 7.8 liters, given that I never saved, but always drove for my own pleasure, the result was impressive.

The package is pre-maximum Travel, since, unfortunately, the maximum speed is not available for a diesel engine. Very pleased with the heated steering wheel, insanely nice to operate in the cold. It warms up quickly, hot air immediately starts to flow from the air ducts.

Two-lens xenon headlights, not only look chic, but also shine better than halogen on Pajero. The headlights illuminate the corners. The function is cool, but not particularly useful, but everyone really likes it.

Of the minuses, I would like to note small trunk. I miss him at all, after the Pajero. The tailgate is very inconvenient to close in dirty weather. Grabbing from the inside is not convenient, there is not enough electric drive (there is a maximum speed). There is also not enough heating for the wipers and injectors. And I don’t like the regular multimedia at all, so I decided to replace it, put another GU with a 10.0-inch screen on Android. While satisfied.

Review of Hyundai Tucson 2.0 diesel with automatic 2016

I bought a car in February 2017. Before that, it was an i40. In general — the car is super! During operation, the consumption decreased from 12 to 7.4 liters (I did not reset the readings from the date of purchase). With our roads, unlike a sedan, you can safely drive without fear of pits (within reason, of course).

To be honest, I bought a car with a robot with a great deal of uncertainty due to the critical reviews of VAG cars with similar gearboxes, but now I like driving this car more and more.

Of the advantages, I immediately want to note the exterior (you involuntarily notice that it catches the eye of both pedestrians and oncoming drivers), as well as handling and a good interior.

Excellent low beam headlights. Electronics and automation work well, although it happens when it rains that the wiper activation sensor does not work in time.

After the i40, the instrument panel seemed rustic, but I also found a plus in this - the information is easier to read. high beam rather weak. mechanical adjustment front seats and the inconvenient location of the backrest adjustment wheel.

Review of the Hyundai Tussan 1.6 on a robot with all-wheel drive in 2016

Perhaps it was this car that opened the segment available crossovers in the middle of the noughties. Nondescript, inexpensive… But is it reliable? We went to a car service and sorted out everything weaknesses ah car.

A bit of history

Tucson ("Tussant" or, as we called it, "Jerboa") has quite short story. He had only one generation, which was produced from 2004 to 2009. Its continuation was the Hyundai ix35, which completely changed its name and design in order to isolate itself from the "gray" ancestor. What's amazing, "brother" Kia Sportage remained faithful to the roots, and slightly lost from this.

These cars began to be delivered to Russia only in 2005, and before that they were imported bypassing dealers, and such specimens traveled from all over the world: from the USA, Europe and Korea. When the cars went officially, at first they only had gasoline engines(2 and 2.7 liters), four-wheel drive, boxes "mechanics" or "automatic". Since 2007, they began to import mono-drive versions and diesel engines.

Offers on the market

Tucson sold very well - hence a large number of offers on the "secondary". 70% of cars have four-wheel drive, and in 30% the motor turns only the front axle. 60% of all cars on the market have an automatic transmission, "on the handle" - about 40%. As for engines, 87% of cars run on gasoline and 13% on diesel fuel.

The range of prices is from 350,000 to 700,000 rubles, but the average prices over the years fluctuate from 420,000 to 540,000 thousand.

Average prices for Hyundai Tucson

Engine

Gasoline engines are generally reliable, whether it's an in-line 2-liter "four" with 140 hp. or a 2.7-liter V6 with 173 hp. Both of them perfectly digest our gasoline and do not have any chronic problems. True, with the V6 you will have no alternative all-wheel drive and automatic transmission, and with the “junior” engine, you can choose both the drive and the transmission. The timing belt on motors must be changed already at a run of 60,000 km and it is better to do this along with the replacement tension roller. The fuel system needs to be flushed twice as often.

The 175-horsepower "six" is paired with an "automatic", which, contrary to the archaic four-speed, provides the ability to shift gears manually. But the parallel start wins over and over again Tucson! And in manual mode, and in automatic. What's the matter? In the accelerator settings, which is sharper on Hyundai, and damped on Kia. So it turns out that at the very beginning Sportage loses those few meters, which are then unable to win back.

Kolesa.ru, 2005

It is possible to distinguish "Russian" diesel from imported from Europe only by VIN number, but know that the car from the Old World drives faster. These cars have a turbine with variable geometry, which increases the efficiency of the engine. The "heavy" fuel version has problems with fuel system, or rather injectors and injection pumps. Moreover, the first can be cleaned, but the second, most likely, will have to be changed as an assembly. Don't forget to change the air filter every second service. fuel tank- this is the peculiarity of the machine.

Transmission

Torque on machines with the 4WD formula is transmitted by default to the front wheels. Only if necessary, the BorgWarner electromagnetic clutch can automatically transfer up to 50% of the torque to the rear axle. Also, the clutch can be forcibly blocked with a button, but remember that all 4 wheels of the Tucson can only turn up to 40 km / h. The clutch itself is reliable and should not cause problems if the previous driver did not abuse off-road driving and skidding in the snow. A simple way to diagnose is to inspect the clutch from the outside for oil leaks, which indicate a “broken” oil seal.

IN automatic mode Borg-Warner's Torque-On-Demand transmission sends 99% of the torque to the front axle, and the car is only good for driving on slippery road or densely compacted primer. The rear axle is connected when the front wheels slip using electromagnetic clutch, and the moment of connection is not always predictable, and even accompanied by a tangible push. However, this does not affect the reliability of control, because even when the clutch is activated during the cornering, the Tucson clearly keeps the trajectory.

The clutch in a five-speed manual gearbox can withstand approximately 100,000 km and is changed as a set. To the automatic transmission, a simple four-speed hydromechanical and very robust design, no complaints. However, in the early years, a decent number of boxes on the 2.7 engine were replaced by dealers under warranty. Due to inappropriate firmware, when kick-down on a powerful V6, the entire clutch package went out of order. Then the software in those automatic transmissions that did not have time to "die" was changed during the recall campaign, and the problem was settled. It is curious that, according to the assurance of the masters, the “automatic machines” on the V6, after refinement, began to work even smoother than with 2-liter engines.

Moreover, according to mechanics, it works much smoother on a V6 than on a 2-liter engine. It is necessary to change the oil in the "automatic" every 45,000 km, and on a manual transmission - every 90,000 km.

Suspension

From almost everyone without exception Tucson owners you can hear complaints about knocking in the chassis. This, unfortunately, is the trouble of the machine, and there is no cure for it. It's just that the silent blocks are rather weak here, especially where the front suspension subframe is attached.

Even if you replace all the rubber bands with new ones, then in a year or two everything will happen again, so many drivers simply got used to it. The shock absorbers also knock, most often the front ones, but at the same time they do not flow, and you should not immediately run to change them. The front racks themselves (there is MacPherson) and the rear (there is a multi-link) rarely ask for replacement up to 80,000 - 100,000 km.

The rail of careful drivers can “drive” 150,000 km.

Change brake pads both front and rear need every second MOT, and brake discs- every fourth.

Body and interior

In the cabin, squeaks are the main nuisance. Still, the car is one of the budget ones, so the plastic is hard, and the fit of the parts is not perfect. The armrest, ventilation nozzles, glove box and walls in the trunk most often begin to creak. There are problems in the Tushkan with tightness, so the first thing to do is check the eyeglass case area for water leaks.

1 / 3

2 / 3

3 / 3

The first glance at the car immediately confuses all the cards. The sturdy Tucson, protected "in a circle" by armor made of unpainted plastic, is perceived as a working option. It is not afraid to leave the urban asphalt and venture into off-road style adventure without the risk of damaging the bodywork.

Kolesa.ru, 2005

But to the body, or rather to its color, there are no complaints. Tucson is painted with high quality and does not begin to rust by itself at the age of 10 years. If you saw corrosion, then most likely this element was subjected to external influence (impact) and the previous owner painted it poorly. In isolated cases, drivers noted the formation of rust in the hatch area, therefore, if in front of you maximum equipment, inspect the hatch very carefully.

electrical equipment

There are no obvious problems here either, since all the electrics are simple. Of the little things, it is worth noting the cheating on-board computer, which underestimates real consumption fuel, as well as incorrect operation of the outdoor thermometer. Drivers say that in heating rear window often the topmost heating thread stops working. Usually this problem“treated” during the warranty period, but she sometimes met after its completion.

The cost of maintenance at official dealers

Tucson maintenance prices are average for the market, maintenance work they differ only in the period for changing the oil in the transmission: in an automatic transmission it is necessary to change every 45,000 km, and in a manual transmission twice as rarely. We give the prices for maintenance in total for work and spare parts.

Prices for some parts

Hyundai Tucson has always been in the leading position in the top sales of crossovers in Russia and was recently updated in March. At the New York Auto Show, a restyled 3rd generation model is shown, which at first glance seems to be a new generation.

The changes affected the exterior, interior and, most importantly, the technical part, which rarely happens in restyling. Even before the review itself, it should be said that this full time job and not cheap marketing ploy to raise interest and increase sales.

Design

The first thing the buyer pays attention to is appearance. Here, when viewed from afar, it seems that the bumper and headlights have been slightly corrected, but looking closer you can see that there are much more changes.

In front, we observe a high smooth hood, emphasized by narrow diode optics. Daily running lights will always be on LEDs, and diode optics with washers appear from the Lifestyle configuration.

In the center, the aggressive style is emphasized by a new chrome grille, again, chrome will only be in top versions, the base Hyundai Tussan 2018-2019 will receive a silver plastic trim. The massive bumper has acquired more muscular forms, stylish foglights, which are already installed in the base and a small plastic protection.

From the side, changes in the expansion of the wheel arches, a change in the style of the upper aerodynamic line and, in fact, everything are noticeable. The upper line originates from the front arch, passes over the door handles, and near the rear handle is divided into two, passing into the upper and central part rear optics. Chrome on the door handles also appeared only in expensive trim levels, as well as the lower edging of glass.

Behind, we see a more familiar shape, but retouched. The style of optics has changed, becoming smoother, but with aggression due to narrowing. The trunk lid swelled up, and the bumper became flatter. The electric trunk lid will appear only in top trim levels.

The dimensions of the body have not changed much:

  • length - 4480 mm;
  • width - 1850 mm;
  • height - 1655 mm;
  • wheelbase - 2670 mm;
  • ground clearance - 182 mm.

Well, the changes are serious, there are many of them and they all gave the appearance of freshness. The crossover will now be more visible on the road, aggressive Hyundai style Tucson will help the manufacturer attract young buyers and is unlikely to upset an adult audience.

Slightly affected color palette. Suggested:

  • white - basic;
  • bright red - basic;
  • brown;
  • black;
  • red;
  • dark green;
  • gray metallic;
  • light beige metallic;
  • metallic silver;
  • dark blue metallic;
  • dark blue metallic.

All colors except the basic ones will cost the buyer 15,000 rubles.

Heavily modified interior

The interior architecture has not been touched, but the style has become more modern. We see the same 2-part dashboard, but now it's more swollen and muscular. In some configurations central part dashboard is sheathed under carbon.

The seats remain the same, in the base they are mechanically adjustable and upholstered in fabric. In expensive trim levels, leather and power adjustments appear. Fabric or leather color can be chosen, black and beige color. Behind is an ordinary sofa, free space enough, plus there is a folding armrest with two cup holders.

Optionally, there is a huge panorama on the roof, which rear passengers can fully enjoy.

The 2018-2019 Hyundai Tussana 3-spoke steering wheel with leather trim and multimedia control buttons has not changed at all. A little touched dashboard, the visualization has changed, and so it still consists of 2 analog sensors and an informative 4.2-inch on-board computer in the center.

The center console on top received a new 8-inch multimedia system display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Below is the same separate climate control unit with a monitor and washers. The tunnel was changed, in front of the gear selector lever there was a platform for a smartphone with wireless charging. On the tunnel there is a gearshift lever, two cup holders and several buttons for setting driving modes.

The trunk remained unchanged, in the initial state the volume is 488 liters, and with the rear sofa folded down 1478 liters. Under the floor is a full size spare wheel and repair kit.

Specifications

Type Volume Power Torque Overclocking Max speed Number of cylinders
Petrol 2.0 l 150 HP 192 H*m 10.6 sec. 186 km/h 4
Petrol 1.6 l 177 HP 265 H*m 9.1 sec. 201 km/h 4
Diesel 2.0 l 185 HP 400 H*m 9.5 sec. 201 km/h 4

Ruler power units unchanged, three engines are also proposed:

  1. R2.0 Diesel - diesel 2-liter turbo engine at 185 Horse power and 400 H*m of torque. The engine consumes 8 liters in the city and 5.4 on the highway. The dynamics is equal to 9.5 seconds and 201 km / h of maximum speed;
  2. Gamma 1.6 Turbo-GDI D-CVVT is a 1.6-liter gasoline unit for Hyundai Tucson 2018-2019, producing 177 horses and 265 units of torque. Passport consumption is 9 liters in the city and 6.5 liters on the highway. The maximum speed is at the same mark, and acceleration to hundreds is 9.1 seconds;
  3. Nu 2.0 MPI D-CVVT - 2 liter gasoline ICE, working without turbines and issuing 150 horsepower and 192 units of torque. Here, the consumption is already greater - 10.7 liters in the city and 6.3 liters on the highway. The maximum speed does not exceed 186 km / h, and acceleration to hundreds of a maximum of 10.6 seconds.

The engines are paired with a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed hydromechanical automatic, or a 7-speed robot for a 1.6-liter engine. The moment on most trim levels is transmitted to the front axle, but there are all-wheel drive modifications that work through the HTRAC control system.

Suspension, brakes and steering of the new Tussan

Regardless of the configuration, the machine is independent suspension with stabilizers roll stability on two axes. Front axle - MacPherson, rear - multi-link. Handling has become better, in addition to the suspension itself, electronic systems help in the management.

The crossover stops due to disc brakes with ventilation on the front axle. Steering rack and pinion with electric booster. Because of this, the information content is not the best, but still not bad. The number of turns of the steering wheel is 2.51, the turning radius is 5.3 meters.

Safety

The manufacturer has installed a variety of movement safety systems:

  • Automatic braking in front of an obstacle, analyzing information through the front camera;
  • Analysis via rear camera, which automatically stops the car when leaving the parking lot, if another car is driving;
  • Classic blind spot monitoring;
  • Automatic switching of optics to low beam in the case of an oncoming car;
  • Adaptive cruise control;
  • Lane control.

All these technologies, a strong body and 6 airbags allowed us to get the maximum rating for Euro NCAP at 5 stars. All these systems are already familiar to the owners.

Hyundai Tucson price

The cost of the new crossover has increased slightly. There are many configurations offered, the price of each of which you can see in the table. You can see the equipment of complete sets on the manufacturer's website, we will tell you about the minimum and maximum version.

The basic Primary equipment costs 1,399,000 rubles, its equipment:

  • air conditioner;
  • tire pressure sensor;
  • Cruise control;
  • 17-inch wheels;
  • fabric upholstery;
  • leather steering wheel;
  • fog optics;
  • heated front seats;
  • light sensor;
  • audio system with USB, AUX and Bluetooth.

The top version of High-Tech Plus costs 2,089,000 rubles, it is replenished:

  • blind spot monitoring system;
  • help start uphill;
  • collision avoidance system;
  • separate climate control;
  • adaptive cruise control;
  • rear view camera;
  • keyless entry;
  • electrically adjustable seats;
  • electric trunk lid;
  • 19 inch wheels;
  • leather interior;
  • seat ventilation;
  • sunroof with a panorama;
  • rain sensor;
  • LED optics;
  • 8-inch multimedia with navigation.

The new Hyundai Tussan 2018-2019 has become really better and more attractive as a purchase. Studying the review, you light up very much, because the car is cool for a small price tag, but carefully study the package before buying. Unfortunately, even visual coolness in basic version not the same as in the top, but it is already much more expensive.

Video review of Tucson

Hyundai Tucson - very important car in the history of the Korean brand. Tussan helped Hyundai enter the modern SUV segment and top the sales lists in many countries around the world.

Hyundai Tussan appeared simultaneously with the release of the second generation. Technically, the cars are identical. They have general design bodies, chassis, engines and transmission. There is a similarity in appearance, although each of them has its own original design.

In 2008, Tucson went through a restyling, during which the range of power units and appearance were corrected. Engineers have worked on some components. First of all, the chassis and steering settings were improved, as well as the efficiency of the brakes was increased - by increasing the diameter brake discs. In 2010, the production of crossovers was completed.

Interior.

Hyundai Tucson show good spaciousness. Four adults won't complain about the lack of space. However, the three of us can sit on the back sofa, except perhaps very slender people. A generous amount of legroom and a reclining second-row seat will help you comfortably accommodate.

Worse things are with the trunk. The 320-liter pannier is far behind the competition. A consolation will be the opening glass of the fifth door, which provides quick and easy access to the luggage compartment.

You can’t pick up flattering words about the build quality and materials. Interior design is typical for Korean cars of that period - materials of average quality and mediocre design.

Engines.

The line of power units Hyundai Tussan, although modest, fully satisfies the needs of the owners. One of the most common engines was a 2-liter gasoline aspirated engine with a capacity of 142 hp. and a torque of 184 Nm. This engine is well suited for city operation, as well as for installation gas equipment. This unit is perhaps the most reliable and cheapest to operate.

The top of the range is occupied by a large V6 with a volume of 2.7 liters and a power of 175 hp. Contrary to popular belief, it does not provide proper dynamics, as it is paired exclusively with a 4-speed automatic, originally from the 90s. However, after the installation of gas equipment, the engine becomes relatively economical and quite attractive in terms of operating costs.

A 4-speed automatic could also be installed with the most powerful 140 hp turbodiesel. The same 2-liter diesel engine with a lower degree of forcing had a return of 112 hp. After restyling, the power of the 140-horsepower diesel engine increased to 150 hp.

All versions of the SUV could be either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, with the exception of the V6 petrol version, which was always equipped with an all-wheel drive transmission.

What breaks?

The 2-liter turbodiesel for that time had a new and modern design. The RA420 series Commn Rail injection engine was developed Italian company VM. This abbreviation causes horror among people who have had the experience of owning "old" diesel models Jeep and Chrysler. Don't worry! This time the engine turned out to be successful and quite simple (by today's standards).

The power unit has cast iron block, one camshaft with a timing belt drive and 16 valves. The 112 hp version runs with lower injection pressure and a fixed geometry turbocharger. Modifications with a return of 140 and 150 hp. equipped with a turbocharger variable geometry, due to which the amount of torque increased from 245 Nm to 305 and 310 Nm, respectively. In some vehicles with the most powerful diesel particulate filter is used.

A CRDI marked engine does not have any weak points or common faults. However, in cars older than 10 years, it is unlikely that you will be able to avoid problems with nozzles, a turbocharger and a dual-mass flywheel. But this is the norm for great age and mileage, as well as malfunctions of the exhaust gas recirculation system. However, all of the above items are relatively cheap and not prohibitively expensive to repair.

Remarkably, the dual-mass flywheel of a 112-horsepower diesel engine wears out faster. It's all about the curve of the moment, which almost never falls and grows rapidly. Motorists who are accustomed to driving low revs must take this point into account. Great advantage this motorsimple design turbocharger and its long resource. The cost of a new turbocharger is from 40 to 60 thousand rubles.

The only element worth paying attention to is the damper control system intake manifold. Its malfunction is manifested by a decrease in power and sluggish acceleration in the middle and upper rev range. But, fortunately, nothing breaks and does not fall into the engine.

The engine does not require complex service. It is better to plan a timing belt replacement with a run of 90-120 thousand km (16,000 rubles for a set with a pump), and an oil update no later than 10,000 km. An unscheduled visit to the service may occur due to DPF filter(if available). Given the cost of the car and the new particulate filter(70,000 rubles) it is better not to think about replacement. It's easier to remove it.

Gearboxes also do not cause any particular problems. The machine will last a long time provided regular replacement oil - every 50,000 km. Sufficiently reliable and multi-plate clutch.

Things are a little worse with the cardan shaft. The design until 2006 required replacement cardan shaft assembled with the support in the event of any backlash. Alternative option there was an opportunity refurbishment in an informal service. After 2006, the design changed, allowing both the shaft and the support to be changed separately, which significantly reduced the cost of repairs.

Hyundai Tucson do not have serious problems and with electrics, although sometimes some sensor may fail, for example, temperature exhaust gases. The suspension also proved to be quite durable. Wishbone front axle has removable silent blocks and ball joint. On rear axle just two simple levers on each of the wheels and a MacPherson strut.

Operating costs.

Hyundai Tussan can be considered one of the cheapest to operate in its class. All thanks to relatively high reliability and low repair costs. There are a lot of substitutes, and the cost of original spare parts from dealers is much lower than similar components in Toyota or Mitsubishi services.

Conclusion.

Hyundai Tucson is very lucky car, which has the only drawback - a small trunk. Although some may seem like a serious disadvantage and the lack of really strong engine. Generally, korean crossover quite reliable and cheap to operate.

Welcome everyone here again!

My review will be banal for those who know Toussaint or own it. The review is more likely for those who (like me a month and a half ago) are looking for a replacement for their puzoterka and have accumulated a certain checksum of banknotes in the region of 600t.r. by car with increased ground clearance for more confident movement of their bodies from points A and B to areas that are not always equipped good roads. Yes, and I just already want something bigger, taller, newer ... Something like this ...

It makes no sense to write about the choice, it is obvious: Out, Kashak, Santa, Tussan, SGV, etc. and so on. V varying degrees killed and different years release. I will not dissemble, of all the crossovers, only the SGV, Tussan and Sportage were really able to "feel" them. Everyone liked something, something not. But in good condition managed to find only Tussan on the front wheel drive with a gun. Machine wanted for a long time, but it was not mandatory when choosing. I decided for myself right away - the car will not swim in off-road, therefore, four-wheel drive is not needed. Maximum forest, primer, curbs and winter ice gullies in the yards (the Almere did not have enough clearance when they stormed them). Yes, and I wanted the car to be as hassle-free as possible, and all-wheel drive is additional crap and money for maintenance.

And here he is - a black hippo at my gate!

This unit cost 2008, 2l., automatic transmission, front-wheel drive, mileage 50t.km - 615t.r. Expensive or not... I think it's okay. The seller's assurances that the car was unbroken were not true, I recently discovered that the right backdoor painted. And this is visible even to me - inexperienced in body repair. I didn’t see it when I bought it - I was in euphoria :), although I checked everything thoroughly. There are no deformations of the body, the door and glass are native, the door closes easily and the gaps are even - it means it was scratched ... And yet, I don’t know if it’s worth changing polyurethane bushings creaking on bumps to rubber native ones ... they seem to last longer. But they creak, or rather they squawk :) Their lubrication gave an effect for a week, then again jam-jam ... But otherwise everything is a bunch. The mobile starts and rides, or rather rushing like a tank, after Almeria, of course there is an effect. You sit higher, you drive more confidently, roadsides and curbs are no longer so scary, and you go into the forest somehow easier. In general, the goal was achieved.

Consumption on kompukteru 9-10l in the city. On Highway 8. Lew 92nd. Interestingly, if pouring the 95th, will the consumption decrease? I drive differently, sometimes I shoot while overtaking, the automatic transmission thinks for a split second and kickdown, depending on the degree of drowning of the “sneaker” into the floor. In general, I have already adapted to the automatic transmission - you push the pedal a little harder and it kickdowns 1 gear down ... not enough? You push more and she resets another gear - here's the dosing of acceleration. Need to overtake VERY fast? - the slipper is completely on the floor and with the sound of a sports car you are carried away into the distance. No meeting? You can safely overtake without straining the engine and gearbox. Nishtyak full. Personally, a 2L engine is enough for me. You can also manually leave the transmission, the benefit of automatic transmission type tiptronic. Consumption at sharp accelerations and driving at a speed of 150 km / h - 11l. It's on the computer. Who has more means you have more :)

The salon is comfortable and spacious. It's a pipets how convenient it is to enter / exit. Pleased with the presence of 3 sockets (front, rear and in the trunk) - it is convenient to vacuum the interior. Behind it is paradise, the sofa is wide, there is no tunnel in the floor, the backs can be tilted to a semi-lying position, there is really a lot of space. And you can't even tell from the looks of it. I myself was somehow skeptical about Tussan before in terms of volume, until I joked around the specialized forums and sat in it ... after Almeria, it’s just pipets how spacious it is. And the trunk ... it seems that it is not very big ... but no ... it just seems ... 644l according to the passport .... yes, figs with it, with a passport - the classic stroller fits in without disassembling, only folding legs. At the same time, there is still room for grocery bags and bags ... and there is still room! HOORAY! In Almera, I had to disassemble the stroller, separating the top from the bottom, and pushing everything else into the cabin there. Well, maybe 1 bag would still fit on the side. Well, a nice feature - the Tussan has a separate glass of the tailgate, which is convenient when loading "to the eyeballs" or just when parking close to the wall, and the door is not constantly pulled. For lovely ladies, this is oh what useful feature- my wife really liked it. I won’t write about the plastic in the cabin - I didn’t try it for a tooth, it’s completely ordinary, solid, nothing creaks, and thank God.

Shumka - quieter than in Almere. The suspension is softer, but the longitudinal buildup is greater, when driving through bumps in a turn, it sausages harder. On the track is more confident, the speed is not felt at all. 140 both on foot. Handling is easy, I didn’t even drive the Almere so easily. Turns into turns easier than Almera and more speed, although earlier for me alcove was the standard of controllability. In general, you get used to Tussan quickly, as if you had always ridden it. Everything is simple, convenient and thoughtful. And the machine makes the driving process enjoyable - you went somewhere and you don’t even remember what you were driving. You don't get tired at all. A trip to Anapa is another confirmation of this. This is the first car, after which the back did not hurt after the 1500 km raid.

The headlights are great, stock. On Almere, the light was not ice.

Tires are regular kumho, the tread is already running out. Winter took the new Bridge Ice Cruiser 7000 spikes. After the purchase, I did not change anything in the car, because the car is in good condition and the previous owner replaced everything before selling (oils, filters) and even cleaned the interior. Respect to him for this, because it's nice to buy clean and well maintained car, as if he took a new one :). The service said you can drive safely up to TO-60. Amen.

In winter I will unsubscribe, "how it is in winter" :)

PS: interesting feature, I have only 2 hooks on the back of the rear sofa, and all the other Tussans that I have seen have 3 ... wattafuck? A feature of the 2008 model? I don't really need it, but somehow interesting)

Good luck to all of us and hormones of joy in addition :)!

Do not get sick and do not get sick, it is better to choose cars ...
