1.5 months ago I ordered a frame for a spare tire and accessories. I ordered it with that number, supposedly containing a full size. But in the end I came under the spare tire, which was originally designed for a 16 inch wheel 215/75/R16. The numbers at the bracket are 2, and there is only one option, as they explained that they simply replaced the outdated number. Obviously, you can put a dokatka as such in this frame, and so a full-size 16, which is what they come from the factory now.
I immediately tried on the 18th wheel, it’s clear that it’s high in height. In general, they fit well.
The frame on the car got up, of course, without problems, but everything else had to be sweated to fix. At 18, the wheel is quite heavy, shoved. I began to start the hook, but it does not climb, rubber interferes, 5 mm of space was not enough. I looked at what was happening, I saw from the back that the rubber rests a little on my plates, I sharpened it. The situation has not changed. As a result, he removed the hook from the bolt, hooked it on the frame, and then the comrade screwed it on. In general, it’s very difficult to put one alone, maybe not realistic.
But the most important thing is that there is a spare wheel and not in the trunk. It is easy to remove it, and if you hit it, you will have to get dirty and so on.
1. Use a slotted screwdriver to open the plug above the rear bumper
2. Using the wheelbrace, loosen the bolt securing the spare wheel
3. Disconnect the spare wheel cable under the rear bumper
4. Remove the spare wheel

After installing the bracket, we insert the hook into the technological hole in the luggage compartment, put the spare wheel in place and put the hook on the bolt. I didn’t buy a new wheel especially for this, I decided that in winter the summer wheel would serve as a spare wheel, and in winter - the winter one.
It took about half an hour to work, but now I am sure that in case of trouble with the wheel, I can easily make a replacement and continue driving at the same rhythm. After a while, I noticed that dirt accumulates on the spare tire, and this is not surprising, because it is located almost on the bottom of the car. In order not to spoil her appearance, I ordered a rubber case, and I will wrap the spare tire there. The bracket together with delivery cost me 4.5 thousand rubles. Yes, it's not cheap, but it's worth it.
