Of course, I'm being a little disingenuous by putting the drones and the skills of the updated Hyundai Tucson on a par. The mention of automatic braking systems involuntarily reminds me of the famous epic failure, when, during the presentation of this function, a car, we will not say what brand, went to Valhalla from a collision with a truck. The updated Hyundai Tucson was not suicidal. electronic brain diligently stopped all my attempts to ram with an impromptu obstacle, braking to the floor. Moreover, in the on-board computer, you can select three modes of operation of the system, depending on which it will slow down later or earlier.
A car designer's muse can be anything...or anyone. But this is the first time I've heard of anyone being inspired by the foundry. The cabin is quiet enough to whisper, unless at that moment you are accelerating to 120 km / h version with a two-liter gasoline engine. The rumble at 6000 rpm is such that you expect the pistons to launch into space from minute to minute. The six-speed automatic needs to literally beg to downshift. Overtaking a truck on the highway? Forget it. Maybe for Moscow traffic jams this option is not so bad. But if you still have to go faster than cyclists, then look at the 1.6-liter "turbo" and 7-speed "robot" or a duo of a two-liter 185-horsepower turbodiesel and a new 8-speed automatic.
There are only two USB inputs in the cabin: on the first and second row. And also two sockets for 12 V: in front and in the trunk.
The back of the rear sofa deviates in the manner premium sedans. But the sofa itself, unlike the front seats, is harsh.
And this one diesel Hyundai Tucson feels very different. Under the pedal, there is an impressive supply of traction, responses are sharper, and acceleration can be measured in seconds, not a calendar. In a word, he is what he should be normal car. The new 2018-2019 Hyundai Tussan facelift was presented to the public at the New York Auto Show in the spring of 2018. The range of engines has not changed. We were left with petrol aspirated 2.0 (150 hp) and turbo engine 1.6 (177 hp). The two-liter diesel (185 hp) is also familiar, but now it works with an eight-speed hydromechanical automatic own development. Everything is as it was before restyling. Part of the blame lies with the 19-inch wheels with forty-five tires. On the "seventeenth" it would be softer.
