A8 is equipped as an option with a WLAN module, which can simultaneously work on the Web with eight devices of various types - whether it's a newfangled Apple iPad or a traditional laptop. The connection to the network is established by means of a SIM card in the on-board phone, its maximum speed is 7.2 Mb/s.
Another innovation, so far unattainable for other brands, is a navigation system that loads Google Earth maps. As a result, you get a route drawn from street photographs with a high degree of detail. Behind all these multimedia things, we almost forgot that the A8 L can also drive, and how! Of course, here, too, not without electronics. The pre sense system, in extreme cases, will automatically perform emergency braking. The night vision function helps to notice pedestrians, lane assist keeps the car within its lane. I believe that compared to the previous model, the current Audi A8L W12 will find fewer buyers, simply because they themselves have changed. The market is waiting for a diesel version and engines of smaller power and smaller volume. Yes, in Russia they learn to count money. And customers who previously could afford such cars are increasingly asking the question: “Is it necessary? Maybe 3.0 TDI is better without "nameplates"?
