Project " The right price” presents the rating of the residual value of used cars in Russia for 2016, which was compiled on the basis of a study conducted jointly with Avtostat Info.

According to the results of last year, against the backdrop of the ongoing decline in the market for new cars, sales of used cars increased, experts say. This reinforced the trend of shifting customer demand from the new car segment to the used car segment. According to analysts, the ratio of sales cars with mileage to new cars over the past few years has increased respectively from 2:1 to 4:1. At the same time, the secondary car market in Russia is still in its infancy, and the quality of transactions for the sale and purchase of used cars can hardly be called satisfactory. For positive changes in the market, it is necessary to ensure a number of fundamental conditions: legal purity transactions, transparent ownership history, good technical condition machines. And the key to the implementation of such changes should be companies specializing in the purchase and sale of used cars.

As part of this study, experts studied the prices of three-year-old cars, compared them with current prices and made a rating of models taking into account the index of their residual value. The final rating is divided into two groups, one - mass brands (27 brands and 240 models), and the other - premium (15 brands and 143 models). For a more complete study and accurate analysis, all modifications of the models were divided into classes. Thus, the rating of the residual values of cars in the mass segment was compiled on the basis of an analysis of the prices of 23 thousand rubles. various modifications divided into 10 classes. In the segment premium cars the sample included 13 thousand modifications, which were divided into 7 classes. The final rating included 30 models of the mass segment with the highest residual value and 21 models of the premium segment.

First, let's define the term liquid or illiquid car. Illiquid is when a car is hard to sell for a long time or immediately at the nominal price you offer. A liquid cars they sell quickly enough and do not have to give in, and they lose little in price.

For example, in Russia, Citroen and Peugeot cars are considered the least liquid. Again, it depends on specific model and states, but I'm talking about general points.

For example Citroen C3 Picasso can be bought in good condition for 350-400 thousand rubles, while its competitors, even in the worst condition, will cost more and sell faster.

Also in Russia, small cars, such as Peugeot 107, Citroen C1, are illiquid. the price tag for these machines is not low, and they are sold for a very long time and lose decently in price, up to half of their original cost. Therefore, often the owners of such cars sell for pennies or drive for a very long time, because it is not easy to find an alternative for similar money.

Even in Russia they do not trust cars with robotic box, especially DSG. And therefore, few succeed in selling a Skoda or a Volkswagen with such an automatic transmission for a high price. This is why you have to drop the price. And the thing is that there was a period when DSG was pouring in, which promoted itself as if not reliable unit who should not be contacted. And until now, people also relate to this, especially when it comes to secondary market.

It is also worth noting cars with a small engine, and even with a turbine. For example, Skodas, Volkswagens with 1.2 TSI engines are quite affordable on the market, and moreover, there are a lot of ads for their sale. Again, people in Russia have little trust in turbocharged engines, more trust in classic aspirated engines and mechanics.

And now a few words about liquid cars. In Russia, the most liquid brand is everything famous Toyota. Indeed, even for example, a 2010 Corolla model can cost 600-650 thousand rubles, when for the same money you can buy an Octavia with a more powerful turbocharged internal combustion engine and an automatic machine. Or Peugeot more high class.

Then come the Koreans Hyundai / Kia. These manufacturers do not invent different robots, turbo engines, but simply make beautiful designs, reliable and inexpensive components, time-tested engines and gearboxes. Plus, the parts are cheap compared to the options listed above. From that they are sold without much difficulty, unless of course the condition corresponds.

In more budget segment- 200-350 thousand rubles Reno reigns. Especially Logan, which is famous for its reliability and practicality, is slowly losing value. And you can see from the ads on Avito that a 6-year-old copy can cost 250-300 thousand rubles, when for the same money you can buy the same Peugeot of a higher class and level of equipment.

Yes, and a few words about the legendary Niva. Now on the secondary market there are many offers for the purchase of such cars, the prices of which are sometimes surprising. You can meet Niva in 2012 already with "saffron mushrooms" for 280-300 thousand rubles. And they are bought. And all because it is unique car with good off-road capabilities, appreciated by fishermen and hunters.

Solaris 2013 for 470,000 rubles is liquid. This is the most popular foreign car in our country. Many are convinced of its reliability and unpretentiousness, so they are willing to buy.

Skoda Yeti 1.2 on automatic transmission DSG-7 2011 for 530,000 rubles - illiquid

Toyota Corolla 2007 for 430,000 rubles - a liquid car

Peugeot 308 with automatic transmission in 2010 for 370,000 rubles - illiquid, cannot be sold

How long will it take after three, four, five years of operation? This question is of interest to many drivers who purchase a new or not much used car. Pragmatists try to calculate how much the price will drop after a few years of standard operation. Now you don't have to count! Analysts of "Avtostat Info" and "Right Price" calculated cars that will lose the least value after only three years of operation. That is, a list of the most profitable cars to buy has been compiled.

So what are they, the most liquid models second half of 2017?

Sooner or later, any car owner has a question about selling it. To resolve it with maximum benefit, all factors that affect liquidity should be taken into account in advance.

What is liquidity?

In simple words, the liquidity of a car is an opportunity quick sale By market price or with minimal loss.

It is impossible to accurately calculate liquidity, because at the time of the transaction, the decision of the buyer is influenced by too much a large number of factors to be taken into account. New car left the salon - minus 15% of the cost. Then minus 10% annually. You can only sell for more than you bought if you bought emergency car, restored and sold. This is a separate business.

However, some features that affect the resale value of a car are still worth exploring.

The impact of the appearance of the car on liquidity

Many car owners believe that if for resale they make redecorating cars, the buyer will think that they are hiding something. In fact, this is not the case, because appearance car is a key factor affecting its liquidity.

Often it is aesthetic defects that serve as an excuse for attempts to bring down the price. Therefore, before selling, it is better to bring the car to the best external condition possible.

Of all the colors, black is the best selling. There are alternative opinions on this matter, such as “girls like red” or “white and silver diverge just as well.” In fact, the situation is that black is the easiest to sell, neutral colors like white and silver are in second place, and bright cars are the worst sellers.

Influence of technical condition

You should not rely on the inexperience of the buyer and hope that he will not notice any technical shortcomings. It is better to solve all existing problems or report them immediately.

Appearance and technical condition are the two main factors affecting the speed of sale of a car and its value. If you know that some parts of the machine need to be replaced, it makes sense to have it in good condition at a low price. This will significantly increase the cost of the sale.

Season influence

Convertibles sell best in summer.

Late autumn and winter - SUVs.

In the spring, the entire automotive market comes to life.

Influence of bundling

On market value is affected by the presence of the following components:

  1. air suspension,
  2. navigator,
  3. a roof with a panoramic view or sunroof
  4. second set of tires
  5. climate control.

Additional factors

  • The less popular the car in general, the lower its liquidity.
  • The car must be sold with tires suitable for the season.
  • Diesel engines more liquid than gasoline.
  • automatic box gears sell better than manual ones.
  • How more powerful motor, the more difficult it is to sell such a car, because. many do not want to pay a high tax on horsepower.
  • On automotive market there is a rule that all improvements that are not included in the original package must not increase its resale value

  • The history of car maintenance should be transparent - this factor significantly increases its liquidity.
  • It's better if you provide original TCP, not a duplicate. The buyer will be calmer this way, because in the future to resell the car with duplicate of TCP harder than the original.

Conclusion

Finally, let's say one more thing. important rule– the lower the initial price of the car, the higher will be its liquidity in resale.

Determining the average market price is simple - take any car sales bulletin board and calculate the "average temperature in the hospital."

Good luck.

The most liquid cars presented in Russia were Toyota Highlander and Porsche Macan with three years of mileage. Since 2014, their value has not only not fallen, but also increased - by 4.06 and 2.98%, respectively. One crossover eventually won in the mass segment, the second - in the premium segment.

All other models, at least a little, but lost in price. So, in the top 10 among more available cars also included Mazda 3 (with a result of 99.95% residual value), Toyota LC Prado (99.66%), Mazda CX-5 (98.15%), VW Touareg (96.05%), Toyota RAV 4 (95 .45%), Mazda 6 (95.24%), Hyundai Santa Fe (94.25%), Subaru Forester (93.60%) and Toyota Corolla (93.34%). Note that in the top twenty there was a place for domestic car - Lada Largus ranked 19th with 89.30%.

IN premium segment behind Macan are Mercedes GLA (95.82%), Porsche Cayenne (95.65%), Volvo XC70 (94.73%), Mercedes A-Class (94.52%), Volvo XC60 (93.68%) , BMW X5 (93.11%), BMW 3 GT (93.09%), Audi Q3 (92.35%) and Mercedes CLA (92.11%). The most liquid on this list japanese car- Lexus GX - took only 16th place with a score of 87.48%.

Obviously, brands from the Land of the Rising Sun dominate the ranking of mass brands. Most profitable machines, according to the study, produces Mazda with an average residual value of the "three-year" 97.67%. In second place - Toyota (95.11%), in third - Korean Hyundai(90.57%). The list goes like this: Kia (89.68%), Subaru (88.99%), Honda (87.05%), VW (86.76%), Suzuki (85.74%), Mitsubishi (85.53%) %), Ford (84.41%). Lada was on the 15th line with a figure of 81.23%, losing to Renault, Skoda, SsangYong and Nissan, but ahead of Great Wall, Chevrolet, Daewoo, Opel and Citroen. UAZ is located on the 23rd position, leaving only Chery (72.00%), Lifan (65.13%) and Geely (65.11%) behind.

It is not surprising that together Russian brands as a result, they were only slightly ahead of their rivals from the Celestial Empire - with average figures for the groups of 78.78% and 72.61%, respectively. And out of competition were Japanese and Korean stamps- their liquidity is estimated at 89.13% and 88.12%. The "Americans" (Ford and Chevrolet) were third (82.74%), outperforming a large group of European brands (VW, Renault, Skoda, Opel, Citroen and Peugeot - 81.32%).

"Europeans" bounced back in the premium segment, where they are also represented by a large group of brands (Volvo, Porsche, Mercedes, Land Rover, MINI, BMW, Audi and Jaguar) and have an average residual value of 82.86%. "Americans" with Chrysler, Jeep and Cadillac were the second (79.67%), and "Japanese" (Lexus, Infiniti and Acura) - the third (77.46%).

We add that in the ranking of brands in the premium segment, the top 10 looks like this: Volvo (90.69%), Porsche (87.85%), Mercedes (85.50%), Chrysler (84.85%), Land Rover (83.38%), MINI (83.13%), BMW (82.93%), Jeep (81.82%), Lexus (81.50%) and Audi (79.31%).

By the way, analysts made an unequivocal conclusion: the residual value for three-year-old used cars is still very high due to a significant increase in the prices of new cars, which has been observed just since the end of 2014.

“However, with a high probability it can be predicted that already in 2018 and in the absence of sharp fluctuations in exchange rates, the residual value of three-year used cars will begin to decline,” says the study received by RG. “It is expected that it will gradually return to more traditional values- in the range of 50-70% of the original cost, depending on the class of the car and its liquidity in the secondary market.
