Three ways to buy a car: choose the most profitable. Why do you need a car? It's expensive and inconvenient! Is it worth buying an expensive first car?

18.07.2019

When I had a car, I never thought about how much it costs me. The car was constantly pulling money: gasoline, parking, tire replacement, insurance, repairs. At some point, I calculated all this and realized that it would be cheaper for me to travel by public transport and taxis.

A private car is beneficial if you need to travel a lot and far regularly. It will be beneficial if you live outside the city or in remote areas of Moscow, and every day you need to wander around the city. But if your trips are irregular or if you live in a small town, then a private car is even more expensive than a taxi! Yes, in small towns where taxis are cheap and distances are short, there is no need to own a private car at all. you can safely do without a car, traveling by taxi every day, and it will be more profitable!

It is clear that all my calculations are very conditional! Each person has their own routes, their own expenses. I tried to imagine and count several standard scenarios.

Let me answer some questions right now:

Yeah, but will you also go to the dacha by taxi?
- It all depends on where the cottage is. My dacha is located 100 km from the center of Moscow, near Klin, a taxi ride there will cost about 2000 rubles. In addition, for 2000 rubles per day you can rent a car sharing car (Delimobil, Belka). Theoretically, you can find a driver and negotiate individually. It will still be cheaper than driving your own car.

But a car is freedom!
- Actually it is an illusion of freedom. The car is a permanent headache. Where to store? Where to put if you are leaving for a long time? You are tied to a parking space. Routes are more convenient without a personal car. For example, if there is a traffic jam, you jumped into the subway, passed a couple of stations, got out, took a taxi and drove on. And so on.

In Moscow, the best-selling models in 2016 were Hyundai Solaris And Kia Rio. In Russia as a whole joins them Lada Granta. The first two models without discounts and promotions cost 650,000 - 700,000 rubles, Lada Granta - an average of 400,000 - 450,000 rubles.

So, now we will calculate how much it costs to own an ordinary (that is, inexpensive) car for a Muscovite and for a non-Muscovite!

Let's imagine that we have a Muscovite who lives in the north-east of Moscow and drives a 2016 Solaris. He has a model with an automatic transmission and a 1.6-liter engine, which consumes 9.3 liters per 100 km in the urban cycle. Need petrol from octane rating no lower than 92. Let's say our driver chooses medium quality fuel, AI-95. In Moscow, today it costs more than 39 rubles almost everywhere.

Our Muscovite lives in the area of Torfyanka Park, in house 1 on Magadanskaya Street, and he works somewhere on Sukharevka, say, in Daev Lane. It's 14 kilometers one way. Agree, not the longest distance for Moscow.

He does at least 28 km a day. Taking into account any trips on other matters, attempts to bypass traffic jams, visits to shops, cafes, etc. this distance easily grows up to 40 km per day, and this is a minimum. On Sunday, our Muscovite is at home all day (0 km), and on Saturday or Friday evening he goes to the dacha / out of town / to the outskirts for groceries. Therefore, let the car travel 60 km over the weekend. In total, we get 260 km per week.

We have 52 weeks in a year, that is, the car's mileage per year will already be 13,520 km. This is 135.2 times 100 km. Thus, in a year, a car in the urban cycle will eat at least 135.2 * 9.3 = 1257 liters of gasoline. It will cost the owner of the car 49 000 rubles.

Now to other items of expenditure.

In 2016, Moscow earned more than 17.5 billion rubles from parking lots and fines. In total, approximately 5.6 million cars are registered in the capital. This means that the average motorist in the capital spends about 31,250 rubles a year on parking and fines. Let's round up to 30 thousand.

Transport tax on his 123 hp Solaris. will be 3075 rubles. The OSAGO policy will cost him at least 10 000 rubles in year.

Depreciation. "Solaris" of the same generation, but produced in 2014, now costs less than 500 thousand rubles. That is, in three years the car has fallen in price by 200 thousand, let it be 65 000 in year.

Since the car is new, the cost of the inspection and the new kit summer tires can be neglected. But you still have to buy winter tires, this is at least another 12,000 rubles. After a maximum of three years of use, it will have to be changed, that is, in a year it 4000 rubles.

Tire fitting (2 times a year) and tire repair in case of a puncture will cost 5000 rubles in year. Add to that the cost of a car wash. Complex car wash in Moscow it costs from 1000 rubles, that is, it will take at least a year 12 000 rubles.

Maintenance Hyundai Solaris 2016 costs 8730 rubles. for the first year, 12,437 rubles. for the second and 8 730 rubles. for the third. On average comes out to about 10 000 rubles in year.

Accidents, breakdowns, traffic jams (and excessive fuel consumption), as well as inexpensive consumables such as oil and antifreeze, we do not take into account (and it is difficult to calculate). Only the bare minimum.

The minimum cost of owning a budget car in Moscow (rubles per year):

65,000 - depreciation;
49,000 - gasoline;
30,000 - parking and fines;
12,000 - car wash;
10,000 - OSAGO (for a year);
10,000 - maintenance;
5000 - "re-shoe" tires;
4000 – winter tires;
3000 - tax;

Total: 188,000 rubles.

It turns out that the owner of a new economy class car that does not get into an accident, does not break down, does not violate and almost does not stand in traffic jams, spends at least 188,000 rubles a year on it in Moscow, or more than 15 thousand a month. In fact, the annual amount will most likely tend to 200 000 .

By the way, paid parking immediately dramatically increases the cost of owning a car. Parking at the place of work of our hypothetical Muscovite, in Daev Lane, would cost him at least 760 rubles a day. This is 3800 r. per week or almost 200 thousand per year! But here you can be sure that our driver will either park in some yard, or simply cover the number with a piece of paper and save a lot on this.

Now imagine that this same driver spends money not on a car, but on public transport and taxi.

Even if he rides to and from work by taxi every day, it will cost him 4,000-5,000 rubles a week, that is, about a year 208,000 - 260,000 rubles. An annual single travel card would cost him 18,200 rubles. If he took a taxi from home to the metro, it would cost him 250 rubles a day or 1,250 rubles a week, 65,000 a year. We sum it up with the price of a metro ticket and get 83 200 rubles. Can be rounded up to 100,000 if contingency taxi costs are included. You can even add another 20,000 for a taxi at the weekend. We get 120 000 , and still it will be one and a half times cheaper than owning an economy class car.

Moscow car sharing costs 8 rubles per minute. To get from Magadanskaya, 1 to Daeva lane, you need to spend 40 minutes in traffic jams or 23 minutes without traffic jams. Let's take the average, it's 32 minutes. A ride in a car-sharing car will cost 256 rubles. By the way, it is much cheaper than a taxi. Our driver will spend 512 rubles a day, 2560 rubles a week for commuting. The cost of carsharing per year will be 133 000 rubles.

It is not advisable to use carsharing for other types of trips, because traffic jams in Moscow are quite unpredictable. In addition, there is an obvious problem: there may simply not be a carsharing car near the house. These shortcomings are compensated by additional costs by taxi - a total of about 160 000 .

Consider the following cars price category- cars worth around 1 million rubles. In the Top 25 in sales for 2016 in Russia, this bar is close to Skoda Octavia And Nissan Qashqai.

Let's take an average "Skoda" with a gun and gasoline engine volume of 1.4 liters with a capacity of 150 hp. (1,177,000 rubles) or a simple Nissan with stepless variator and an engine capacity of 1.2 liters with a power of 115 hp. (1,123,000 rubles). The first fuel consumption in the urban cycle will be 6.9 liters per 100 km, the second - 9.2 liters.

It is obvious that they will eat less gasoline. If they drive as much as the Solaris driver (13,520 km per year), then the owner of the Skoda will spend on fuel in the region of 36,000 rubles per year, and the Nissan - 48,500. Let's round up to 40 000 .

A similar Nissan Qashqai 2014 will cost about 950,000 rubles. In three years, the car will lose 173,000 rubles in price, this 58,000 per year. Skoda has the difference between new car and three years is much more, this is due to the recent price increase. Round up annual depreciation to 60 000 .

Since the car costs more than a million, the driver will most likely prefer to add Casco to OSAGO. Such insurance will cost 43,000 rubles. The transport tax on Skoda will be higher due to more powerful engine(5250 rubles against 2850 rubles). Let's average 4000.

Maintenance "Nissan" will cost 8600 rubles. for the first and third year and 18,700 rubles. for the second, on average it comes out to about 12 000 in year.

The minimum cost of owning a car at a price of 1 million rubles in Moscow (rubles per year):

60,000 - depreciation;
43,000 - Casco + OSAGO (for a year);
40,000 - gasoline;
30,000 - parking and fines;
12,000 - maintenance;
12,000 - car wash;
5000 - "re-shoe" tires;
4000 - winter tires;
4000 - tax;

Total: 210,000 rubles.

From cars of an even higher price category, the Top 25 in sales include Toyota Camry and Toyota RAV4. They cost from 1.5 million rubles in a simple configuration.

Let's take for example "Camry" with a 2-liter engine (150 hp) and a 6-speed automatic transmission. It will cost 1,557,000 rubles. Fuel consumption in the urban cycle - 10 liters per 100 km.

Here 53 000 will go only for gasoline, Casco insurance + OSAGO and tax - another 37,000, plus maintenance in the region of 10 thousand. The most expensive of the cars of 2014 in a similar configuration costs 1,200,000 rubles. That is, depreciation will be more than 100 000 rubles in year!

The minimum cost of owning a car at a price of 1.5 million rubles in Moscow (rubles per year):

100,000 - depreciation;
53,000 - gasoline;
32,000 - Casco + OSAGO;
30,000 - parking and fines;
12,000 - car wash;
10,000 - maintenance;
5000 - "re-shoe" tires;
5000 - tax;
4000 - winter tires;

Total: 251,000 rubles.

With more expensive cars, it is difficult to calculate everything, there too much depends on the configuration. Usually, people who buy cars more expensive than 2 million do not skimp on gasoline and so on (except that they modestly hang a number on a paid parking lot with a piece of paper), and we are talking about savings.

But it can be assumed that when buying an expensive car, it is more difficult to guess with depreciation. Most likely, most of the annual costs will fall on this column (unless it is luxury car limited edition which will only increase in value over time.

What do we get as a result? As you can see from the infographic, you can save a lot even if you drive around Moscow only in carsharing cars and taxis. If you combine taxi and car sharing with public transport, it turns out even cheaper. In Moscow, it makes some sense to buy a budget car, but only if you drive on strictly defined routes all the time. The slightest deviation from the norm - and you start to overpay.

Now let's look at the example of a driver in our beloved Tula!

He decided to save a little on the car, so he will drive not on the "Korean", but on pride domestic auto industry, Lada Granta in the middle configuration and with a gun. Such a car now costs about 500,000 rubles. Fuel consumption in the urban cycle is 9.9 liters, gasoline is not lower than 95th.

In order to somehow justify owning a car in a city like Tula, let's imagine that our driver lives somewhere on the outskirts, but works in the center. Suppose he needs to drive from house number 13 along Pushkin Street in the village of Kosaya Gora to Pushkinskaya Street, but already in Tula itself. It's 10 kilometers.

It turns out 20 km per day to work and back, add to this 5 km for other needs. On weekends, the car rides according to the same pattern as that of a Muscovite: one day it rests, the next it makes a double distance (50 km). In total, a car travels 175 km per week.

For the year, the mileage will be 9100 km. This will take 900 liters of gasoline at a price of 39 rubles / liter (fuel prices in Moscow and Tula are almost the same), in total you will have to spend 35 100 rubles.

Now to depreciation. Lada Granta with automatic transmission 2014 costs an average of 330,000 rubles. For three years, the car lost 170,000 rubles in price. Even if we reset to 160 thousand, depreciation will be at least 55,000 per year.

If we assume that we are dealing with a conscious driver who spends as much as 80 rubles a day on paid parking in Tula, this is an additional 20,800 rubles a year. But we can’t take them into account yet, because no one pays for parking in Tula) Let’s assume that in total the Tula spends on fines and parking 10 000 rubles in year.

OSAGO will cost 7500 rubles, winter tires - in the same 12 thousand (or 4000 per year), transport tax will be 2700 rubles. Reshoe tires 2 times a year - another 4 thousand.

Car wash - about 600 rubles per month, this is a minimum per year 7200 .

MOT at Lada Granta costs 3700 rubles. for the first year of operation, 4900 r. for the second and 3700 for the third. Average - 4100 per year.

The minimum cost of owning a budget car in Tula (rubles per year):

55,000 - depreciation;
35,000 - gasoline;
10,000 - parking and fines;
7500 - OSAGO (for a year);
7200 - car wash;
4100 - maintenance;
4000 - "re-shoe" tires;
4000 - winter tires;
2700 - tax;

Total: 133,500 rubles.

In total, our Tula will spend about 133,000 rubles on a car for each of the first three years ownership, and subsequently the cost of ownership will only skyrocket. In fact, the annual costs will be around 150,000.

A taxi ride from Pushkin, 13 to Pushkinskaya, 13 costs 160 rubles one way, or 320 rubles a day. This 83 200 rubles in year. That is, even if our Tula will show off and take a taxi to work every day, it will still be cheaper than owning a budget car. If you take into account the cost of a taxi at the weekend, you can round up to 100 000 . But why then do we need the hassle with insurance, technical inspections, changing shoes, traffic jams, finding parking and everything else, if you can just always take a taxi and spend only money, and not money along with nerves and time? And at the same time save up to 50,000 rubles a year.

And our driver could also get from his place of residence to his place of work on the 28th bus and spend 30 rubles a day on a travel card, or 7800 rubles in year.

What freedom are you talking about? A car is just extra expenses and a headache, that's all.

It turns out that in a city like Tula, a car is not needed at all. In Moscow it makes sense to take budget car for regular long-distance travel, but you'll overpay for it with every wrong turn and every day it gets older.

If we consider other cities, it turns out that what smaller city, the greater the gap between the cost of owning your car and the annual "subscription" for a taxi. It turns out that a car is really a luxury. Even if you drive carefully, do not spend money on repairs and do not incur any additional costs, slightest mistake will instantly increase the price of its use. A fine, an accident, a hole in the road - and you won’t meet the minimum.

So in our cities, public transport in combination with a taxi and (for Moscow and St. Petersburg) car sharing easily replaces a private car.

Calculate how much you spend per year on a car and compare it to how much you would spend on taxis and public transport! Tell us in the comments what happened.

The letter in the SR was titled: “A vision of a car through the eyes of a man who is not in love with cars.” I liked it. You can agree with the author, you can blame him for the devil knows what, but he has a position. And this is the main thing.
Expresses his opinion Shareev Ilnur Ismagilevich. I just skimmed over the punctuation marks a little. The style is fully preserved:

New level

From A to B ... a company of 3 people and I, the driver ... 4 bags ... all the priests are soft ... warm in winter ... cool in summer ... ears from loud noise do not lay ... the radio plays ... nothing rattles anywhere ... we eat fuel from 6-12 liters ... oh yes… just 2 pedals. Your suggestions: what kind of car was awarded such a description? That's right: it's any car from " Daewoo Matiz” to a car for an amount with six zeros rubles. This is one level. One step. No matter how insulting the owners of expensive and prestigious cars, they stand in the same place as the owners of Logans and Zhiguli, their cars cannot offer their owners fundamentally different opportunities and greater freedom.
Now a little about myself. I am the head of the commercial department of a plant in the city on the Volga-mother, I live in a three-room apartment in a normal area, on weekends I can go to my parents’ unfinished country house, or to my grandmother’s dacha in a two-story house with a bathhouse and fresh cucumber-tomatoes. Of the attractions there is a beautiful wife. The son in the role of randomly moving property together with the dog. I don't drink at all, I don't smoke, I go to the gym 3 times a week. I own vehicle called "Lada Granta": air conditioning, automatic (What - really? On the "Zhiguli" - automatic ??? This is 90% of the questions that they ask me), power windows and a balloon key.
So - now I want to express my indignation at the position of pseudo-prestige expensive cars mobile phones and about the distorted perception of citizens - "victims of marketing" about the prestige and the way they spend their unearned money. People, understand: to change one sedan for another, which is 10 cm longer and 5 cm wider, paying extra for these centimeters with so many products that will be enough for 3 years of a well-fed life - this is not a way to new level! This is marketing...
Moving from a communal apartment to a 1-room apartment is a new level, it is a kitchen, a bath, a toilet. The next stage is to move from odnushki to a house with a plot, a lawn, a bathhouse, a garage. Moving from odnushka to dvushku-treshku-four is not a stage: it is marking time, which ninety percent of people are proud of, who have fulfilled the dream of their whole life - a TWO-ROOM APARTMENT (analogous to Toyota Camry).
That's it, now you can put on black glasses and cut the rogue on the "grants" (I encounter this all the time). Tired guys!!! I earn more than you.
Your status has not risen in my eyes, the eyes of a wealthy person. Many people ask me the question: “What kind of boss are you at Lada?” With you, they say, no one will work if they see you on this car! So say people who earn three to four times less and manage a credit dream of thousands for 700 - 900 ... People of greater prosperity do not pay such close attention to my car. For example, my friend, businessman Vladimir, driving a 6 year old Lexus RX350, spent 7 minutes on my car; sat, turned the steering wheel, wondered about the machine and that's it, then we went to a restaurant to eat, splitting the payment of the bill in half.
What to overpay for? Earlier expensive cars famous for either speed (Italians) or reliability ( german troika). Look at the bodies of 30-year-old factory-painted Mercedes, and now look how they begin to become covered with foci of corrosion here and there 5-7 summer cars. Reliability statistics provided by Warranty Direct shows that BMW only ranks 25th out of 36 in terms of reliability… So why pay extra for it? The answer is simple - nothing! All these tactile features and the nature of the behavior of the car - in order to have something to write about in car magazines. After all, the essence modern car It's an iPhone in a case! One iPhone, but a million cases...
So, if we continue about cars, then next level for me it all-wheel drive SUV. And the same thing: from A to B ... a company of 3 people and me, a driver ... 4 bags ... softly for all priests ... warm in winter ... cool in summer ... ears from loud noise do not lay ... the radio plays ... nothing rattles anywhere ... we eat fuel from 6 - 12 liters ... oh yes ... only 2 pedals ...
Only B turns out to be an order of magnitude deeper and dirtier. This is a new level of freedom. And for me, the next step is the Mercedes G-class. More likely, latest brand cars in my life. After all, I can only get further than on a helix by plane. And instead of the plane, there are other ways to invest.
For example - in the son!

Today we will consider the car as a liability, as an element that constantly takes money from you, but brings comfort. Can you do without it or will it be limited to only one car in the family. I think that many simply do not need a car, they simply do not have the money to maintain it. If you spend a lot of money on a car, in which case should you buy it, and in which case should you not?

Car expenses

Let's calculate what are the costs for 2 years for a car worth 500 thousand rubles. I took such an interval because many people want to buy a new one after 2 years of operation, but there is no longer enough money for a new one, and I will write why.

The amount of expenses, excluding repairs for a car worth 500,000 rubles, amounted to 180,000 rubles! This is 36% of the cost for 2 years or 18% of the cost per year.

Is it worth buying a car now?

If you count differently. After buying a car in a car dealership for the first 2 years, it loses 25% of its value in price. This is 120,000 rubles. If we add this amount to the cost of the car, we get 300,000 rubles. There are 365 days in a year and 730 days in two years. Let's divide 300,000 rubles into 730 days. We get that we spend 410 rubles per day for its maintenance and operation. A car costs a month 12 300 rub .

When should you buy a car?

I think that you should buy a car when you spend no more than 20% per month of your salary. That is, from the proportion it follows that your salary should be 61 500 rubles minimum. Average salary in Russia in 2014 33 280 rubles. Otherwise, you will work purely for the car, you will not be able to feed and support your family.

Those who buy used expensive cars with a small salary drive themselves into the poor. Why do they need show-offs when in the long run they simply ruin themselves. In my opinion, it is better to invest this money in Forex Trend and Pantheon Finance PAMM accounts, make a portfolio of 8-10 traders and safely ride a minibus.

If you have your own business or you work in a highly paid position, then you should buy a car. But when buying, be aware that a car for 500,000 rubles requires the costs listed above, and a car worth 2 million rubles. already completely different. Profitability of PAMM accounts increased from 4% per month to 9%.

Do you have any expectations about future car. For example, you want to go on a picnic with your friends every weekend. Or do you want double car, only for yourself and for the second half.

But reality makes its own adjustments: friends are always busy, and the family has an addition.

This is not so important if you can change the car at any time. But such possibilities are the exception rather than the rule. When choosing a model, imagine that it will be with you for many years.

2. Waste car

If you do not have a driving experience, then you can hardly imagine how much money it actually takes to refuel.

Fuel prices do not please and are unlikely to please in soon. The expense of gasoline when buying an uneconomical car can be unsettling, especially if you start to actively use the car.

Car service - expensive pleasure. And you will quickly feel that money is flying up the exhaust pipe.

The same applies to the cost of spare parts. You still have to repair the car, even if it's small things. Before buying, see how much you have to spend on a standard repair.

Visit the forums where the owners of cars of the brand you are interested in talk about their cars. You will immediately know about problem areas cars. And then think about whether your wallet will pull such expenses.

3. Unexpected repairs

"Buy used! Why do you need a new one right away? - such advice is often given to beginners.

Of course, used cars are cheaper. And they are not so sorry to scratch, for example. But even experienced motorists cannot determine whether everything is normal in a used car. To do this, you need to be an auto mechanic with experience.

They even advise checking the car at reliable, “their” stations, and not at those advised by the seller. Hidden defects can be very expensive. So, if you decide to choose a used car, go shopping with a mechanic. Even if his services cost several thousand, you will save more.

And this is not to mention the fact that a car malfunction can cost not only money, but also health.

4. Machine "for slaughter"

“Buy something worse: you don’t mind breaking it, and you’ll learn how to drive!” - this is generally advice number one from experienced drivers.

Now think about why you are taking the car. To break it or to ride it? To be sure to learn self-repair Or to get from point A to point B?

Beginners feel uncomfortable behind the wheel. If you plant them for driving a "killed" car, it will only get worse. Why create additional difficulties for yourself and take risks when you can buy not the most expensive, but reliable car and to get used to the roads already on it - it is not clear.

5. Car for show off

Before choosing a car, think about what you will be doing on it. The car should be reliable, take you to your destination without any problems and accommodate the things that you usually carry with you. Cars are full of upgrade options, but basic functions cannot be expanded.

There is an opinion that beautiful and fashion car impress others and make your life better. However, just a good, reliable car can do the same.

Treat your car choice as a tool choice and don't let your emotions drive your decision.

6. Hopes for future profits

Cars are expensive, but this does not mean that investing in a car will pay off (we are not talking about business now, but about private car). When reselling, any car loses value only because of the fact of a change of ownership. In the salon, they will recommend a more expensive car to you and they will say that it will cost a lot when it is sold. This is not an argument worth listening to. Let's say an automatic transmission will cost more when selling. But on overall decline the value of a used car will have little effect.

So the car is not an investment. Keep costs to a minimum and buy a safe and reliable vehicle.

7. Purchase without bargaining

If you went for a used car, then keep in mind: the price tag put up by the seller is indicative. You can and should bargain, as a rule, sellers are ready to drop the price. To achieve this, you need to carefully inspect the car and ask questions about its condition. An attentive and experienced buyer can reduce the price by tens of thousands of rubles. Either study the forums to understand what to ask, or still take a mechanic with you who will ask for you.

8. Car on credit right in the salon

When buying a car is almost a done deal, the final trap remains to be avoided. Especially if you decide to take a car loan. So, you are standing in front of almost your car, and then the dealer says that you can buy it this second on special conditions. Just sign a loan agreement, and then every month you will have to pay nothing at all.

Here you need to make an effort of will and not sign. Read carefully what conditions you are offered. Loans in salons are often unprofitable, given under a large percentage. It is better to study the offers of banks and find best option. Do this before going to the salon, so as not to tempt yourself.

In this article, let's talk about why the "poor" buy expensive cars.

Let's start with the fact that I don't really like the expression and the division into "poor" and "rich".

The bottom line is that many people acquire expensive cars, which they cannot afford, for example, on credit or there for the last money, or for climbing into debts, loans, etc. taking many, then they cannot service this car, feed it, etc. and so on. hence the “such” title of the article.

After all, it would seem that you can take a slightly lower class of car = also quite good and quality car= but, at the same time = for their own money, without loans, debts, etc. = which you can serve, feed, etc. and so on. ; that is, now, I show you = two sides of the coin:

  • 1st = animal (instinctive, emotional)
  • 2nd = it is reasonable (the predominance of the mind over the emotional animal component)

For most people = unfortunately = the animal component (instinctive, emotional) prevails over the rational component (mind) = hence all the problems, so to speak.

That, in fact, is all, the answer to the topic of today's article = I gave. Come on, let me give you an explanation...

An expensive cool car is…

First of all, these are classic show-offs / show off =)

In front of girls, friends, acquaintances, comrades, colleagues, in short, in front of everyone.

A cool expensive car allows a person to stand out, to show everyone that he is not like everyone else, that he is better, cooler, more successful, in short, in this way, people try to demonstrate their coolness, their dominance compared to the rest, so to speak, "wretched little people."

This is the same 1st predominant side of the coin - emotional (animal). Understand?

This is where the dominance instinct comes into play.

The instinct of dominance = is inherent in every primate, that is, in every person.

It is instinct that spurs us on certain things, in this case, at the expense of an expensive car, to show their dominance, show off, show off, be or seem better than others.

Why all these show-off / show off?

In order to raise your status in the eyes of others (in society).

Who has a higher status: a person who rides a minibus or a person in a Bentley, for example. It's obvious though. Who better will the girls lead, to a patsyk in a Bentley or a patsyk from a minibus? =)

Well, in short, here without further ado / comments = cool car raises the status of a person in society, therefore, by the way, all the boys, every young Padawan dreams of a car =)

We humans are all as one obsessed with our status, and all because the instinct of domination is inherent in each of us and it is BENEFICIAL from the point of view of EVOLUTION.

The fact is that the higher the status of a person = the higher the chances of his survival and reproduction.

Besides, if there was no instinct of dominance = people would not aspire to anything.

People would not want to achieve anything, and as a result, degradation would occur, not evolution.

That's why mother nature took care of all this. Somehow like this.

We are people only on the surface people)) in fact, we are still animals that have brains (mind) = which serves our biological tasks ...

My advice to those who are planning (want) a car…

IN modern world- rules the mind. Reason wins.

The unconscious (animal) component is not profitable in the modern world. There is little sense from her. And from harm - a lot. An example - I already gave you above. People go into debt, take out loans, sell everything they can, buy with their last money, and so on. and so on. or in some other way they mismanage money for = cars = to raise their status = to show their dominance = to satisfy their animal inside themselves.

Many of these people, then also limit themselves / their families in many things in life = because you need to pay money for this trough on wheels = repay debts = in addition to feed and maintain this car (the cooler and more expensive it is, the more attendants requires) = and much more.

Is this behavior reasonable? Is it worth it? But this happens to a lot of people (majority).

But you can avoid all this, all these problems, by delaying the car (if you don’t want my next proposed option), or taking a lower car class = also quite a good and high-quality car = but, at the same time = for your money, far from the last money, without loans, debts, etc. which you yourself can calmly serve, feed, etc. in a timely manner. and so on..

Understand: the winner is the one who has the control of the animal (emotions) within himself and the predominance of the mind.

I know people who can afford very, very, very expensive cars, but they don't, but they take it and drive quite ordinary, not particularly prominent cars. Mazdas there, Fords, Mercedes, Toyotas are not expensive there, etc. And all why? You should already know the answer.

There are, of course, those who drive quite expensive cars = but at the same time = people can afford it without any damage / without any “problems”, you understand? This is already a personal choice for everyone.

Get the point: don't let instinctive animal behavior take over the situation.

Think about everything with a reasonable component (mind): can you afford this specific car? Without any problems / damage, for yourself and your family? Are you pulling this car? Will you be able to service it, perform temporary maintenance, feed (fuel), etc.? Where will you put it (park it), will it be safe or will you have it today / not tomorrow, etc. and so on.

Keep in mind that a car every year = depreciates and depreciates, do not forget about thefts, thefts, vandalism, dead roads and Schumachers with purchased rights = think about everything before doing anything on emotions, just to raise your status in in the eyes of society, in the context of spending the last money on a car, selling everything - what you can just take a car; debts, credits and so on.
