And for each of these subspecies, there is now something of its own: with premium materials and finishes from a recently butchered last dinosaur, with the most technologically advanced "chips" and just curious (but not always useful or at least understandable) bells and whistles, with an abundance of chrome and carbon fibre, with large (but economical in a European way) or simply huge (and growling in an American way) engines ... There are much more “celebrities” in the ranks of this class: from those already familiar to many, we note, of course, Mercedes-Benz with its Gelik (and, in principle, the entire older model range represented by G, GL, GLE), their competitors from Bavaria (BMW X5 and X6) and Ingolstadt (Audi Q7), let's not forget about sports comrades from Porsche (Macan and Cayenne), the British car industry in the face of Range Rover, the Swedish update of the classic Volvo XC90 ... And of course, for a snack, the absolute leaders of this hit parade money - a new crossover Bentley Bentayga, the new Jaguar F-Pace crossover and some rumors about future elite crossovers from Rolls Royce, Maybach, Maserati, Lamborghini… But first things first.

Mercedes-Benz G class

Of course, as a separate offer, you can always shell out two or three times more money for the AMG versions of this or that device, the Germans (either from Audi, or from BMW, or from Mercedes) will gladly add to your purchase a lot of not only horsepower , as well as various exclusive and expensive finishing materials. Whether an SUV (albeit expensive initially) is worth its 280 thousand euros is a separate question, but since there is an offer ... there is definitely a demand.

Mercedes-Benz GL-class (now GLS)

A little less pretentious, a little less square and angular - the GL from Mercedes was and is the choice of those who do not need the defiant look of the Gelendvagen, but who also need German quality, and a large saloon, and high permeability.
