As a result, I settled on the Hyundai Veloster. Bought for the design of course in the first place. Inside, I must say, it is as good as the outside. The seats are very soft, wide and comfortable. As for the technical characteristics, I can say that they suit me. Holds the road well, from a standstill acceleration in less than 10 seconds. I like the overall thoughtfulness of the electronics installed on-board computer. It seems that there is almost everything that is possible to stuff into a car, it’s not for nothing that the Koreans have been preparing for its release for so long. As for the shortcomings, I don’t like the stiff suspension, because of it the road feels good (especially bad))) It’s not very comfortable in it, I think the roof will be a bit low. The interior of the cabin looks great too. Confused a little by the quality of the plastic, slightly, as it were, wooden. Electronics tricked out. The music is excellent, the subwoofer. But where the monitor is, there are control buttons and some menu items - almost everything is in Korean, however, it's not so difficult to figure it out. It's cramped to sit inside. Well, maybe I'm just used to spacious cars. Long hood, dimensions will have to tinker a bit. The review back seemed to me not important because of the unusual shape of the body. Behind the ceiling is low, it is not very much. But if you raise your head up there is a panoramic roof and you can see the sky in the clouds or stars (if at night) through the glass. Another minus is that getting into the back seat is inconvenient, because there is no one door. Cool design, people are very attracted, that's for sure! Those who say that the car is ugly have apparently never seen it live. The interior is especially good, perfectly assembled and tactile sensations are much nicer than the Civic had.

I have a complete set (only there is no cruise, there was one on the Civic). Excellent full-time music, subwoofer, DVD, panorama, leather electric seats, etc. Great box and engine. Of course, it might be nice to add strength, but I think that it’s the best for the track and city driving. Fuel consumption is very moderate. I got 7-10 liters, but as you know, if you wish, you can run into 15. Moderately stiff suspension (18th wheels, of course, play a role). Our roads are not good everywhere, but there have never been any breakdowns. Handling, when compared with my former Civic is worse, he somehow behaved sharper on the road. The capacity of the cabin, of course, is not so great, beauty requires sacrifice, what to do. A driver over 190 cm tall will have to prop up the roof with his head. Well, in a nutshell, that's all.

Hello! I want to contribute and leave a review about the Hyundai Veloster. I must say that I chose the car for a long time and the choice was very difficult, because I had to choose a car that would suit me and my wife liked it.

In the end, as a result of long disputes and discussions purchased this car! Most likely, the decisive factor was that I really wanted to transfer, finally, to the left wheel. On our domestic roads, this car looks like an alien from outer space, well, very unusual.

Several times I noticed how adults and children stopped and began to look at him with delight and even take pictures on the phone. Behind live, it resembles a rally Citroen. Well, for those. service or some serious points, I can’t write in detail yet, I’ll tell you about my first impressions for now.

At first I was impressed by the GDI engine, but after climbing the Internet, having obtained information about the Hyundai engines and how they accept our domestic gasoline, I realized that you can use it. When I got into the car for the first time, I was surprised by the unusualness of the seats (in Recaro style, but, unfortunately, less comfortable). Also impressed by the hard (too) gas pedal. The problem was solved by turning on the economy mode. It slows the engine down a bit. Very high quality music - pleased. The tuner and the stitched navigation system pleased even more. For our roads, the ride of the car is quite hard, and this is not surprising with 18 wheels. It is still too early to talk about consumption, but according to my estimates, somewhere around 8-9 liters. when driving in the city.

The exterior of the car was best described by my wife - red, as I wanted! In general, the car is outrageous, but tasteful. What I didn't like is that the reversing camera blunts. The Koreans, apparently, decided to save on pixels and the picture can slow down when moving backwards. And I was also pleasantly surprised that it shows DVDs in good quality. Seriously, it would be necessary to put R205 * 55 * 16, in this case everything will be fine. I was very pleased with the economical fuel consumption in the range of 6-8 liters. with working air conditioning in the city.

The package includes everything except for the cruise. Super acoustics, five speakers, subwoofer, heated leather, multi-steering wheel, excellent image and sound, DVD, MP 3 has bluetooth, the phone has already connected, everything works fine. Color rear view camera.

Panoramic roof with sunroof in two positions, there is a start-stop button. In appearance, the trunk is small, but that's just in mind. If you fold the rear seats, it becomes exactly in the Cruiser.

Hello everybody! So, having driven the car for two weeks, I decided to leave my review. Well, I bought it two weeks ago! My first impressions were: just a space car! A catchy, rather unusual design that attracts the interested glances of passers-by, a complete set of "maxi".

When landing in this "spaceship" all the seats are automatically adjusted, with such comfort you don't even want to get out of the car, especially after you get used to it. Although the engine size is small (1.6 liters) and the power is 140 hp, my baby, on her 18-radius wide, low-profile wheels, leaves other cars far behind and, moreover, consumes gasoline very economically. 6 automatic transmission. Accelerates quickly enough, and before you blink your eye, the speedometer indicates 120 km * h. But although it provides for a maximum speed of up to 240 km / h, in reality it will not do more than 160.

Automatic thinks and switches very quickly! I was very worried about the 18th casting, I was afraid that the car would drive too hard on our roads. But, since all Hyundais have a very soft suspension, then on 18R-wheels the car also passes all the bumps gently. In general, while they make me happy, however, I still try to go around the bumps. But for the winter I will take the 16th or 17th casting. The car enters the corners perfectly, very clearly, the road keeps excellent, especially when you get used to it, the feeling is simply unreal! The purchase of this car was, one might say, spontaneous, before that I had been walking for almost a year, so I didn’t compare it with other cars, well, really, I looked at other hyundai a couple of times, looked into the salon, was also interested in the new Genesis coupe, but that’s too much low ground clearance and the complete absence of normal roads in my city, have become a good reason for me to give up my plans for this car.

And now directly about the Hyundai Veloster itself. The car was purchased from an authorized dealer, the entire registration with the traffic police took me only 2-3 hours. The 1.6 engine is standard, and it’s not that it’s not enough, the car runs quite briskly, within the same speed on the highway, there’s enough power to overtake, but I’m not a particular fan of speed, so I noticed special disadvantages in terms of dynamics, maybe this is fundamentally important to someone, but I have enough "horses".

I also like the build quality of the cabin. I am of medium build, height 1.76, so I feel comfortable in the driver's seat. Somehow I was carrying a passenger weighing 120 kg from behind. and with a height of 1.85 he said that he had enough space, so I don’t know.

As for seat adjustments. On the driver's seat, they are all electric, while the passenger's are manual. What I did not like in the cabin is the glass, or rather the plastic of the dashboard, after the first wash, when it gets into the sun, you can see scratches. If the sun does not shine in that direction, then everything is fine.

When driving on gravel, the headrest of the front passenger seat, if raised to the maximum, then rattles. There is a cricket lurking somewhere in the trunk area, but so far I can’t find it, because it is heard only periodically. I think it could be a wheel change kit hidden inside the spare tire in a Styrofoam box. There is also a very convenient thing in the cabin - support for the belt in the driver's seat, because after you sit in the seat, it is not easy to reach the rack due to the width of the door.

I have no time to look at the sky while driving, so the panoramic roof is unnecessary. Passengers, however, like it, they say it's cool, especially if you turn off the display at night, you can see the stars. The trunk for such a small car is roomy, and if you fold the rear seats, you can even cram an adult bike into it. I did not check it myself, but I visually estimated, I think it will fit.

I don't know what else to add... multimedia is on top, I'm not a big music lover, but I can appreciate that the sound is excellent, the presence of various inputs allows you to connect everything you can. Connecting a Bluetooth phone to a car is also a matter of a couple of minutes. In almost one minute, I transferred the entire contact system to the car's memory and now, through voice search, I can call the phone without touching it at all. I hear the interlocutor perfectly, he me too.

Therefore, we cannot make any claims to the manufacturer in terms of interior design. The situation was similar with the Veloster civilian hatchback. Plus, the charged modification pleasantly pleases with sporty notes of the interior. This will be appreciated by many.

Apparently, changes in the cabin did not entail changes in terms of trunk volume. As before, it holds a modest 320 liters. Although this is not the limit, since the transforming rear seats allow you to create a fairly flat loading surface and increase the amount of luggage space up to 1015 liters. And these are already much more solid numbers.

Of course, the power has led to an increase in the dynamic capabilities of the hatchback. Now the maximum speed is 214 kilometers per hour, and acceleration from standstill to 100 kilometers per hour takes 8.5 seconds. Not bad, but not great either.

But the car boasts very modest fuel consumption. For every 100 kilometers traveled, he needs only about 7 liters of gasoline. This is really great, considering the presence of 186 horsepower under the hood.

Some upgrades have also taken place in the steering in order to improve the steering response, plus the braking system has been adjusted by installing reinforced brakes. Nevertheless, the speed is now higher, which means that it is more difficult to slow down the car.

We got what we expected to see initially, as soon as Hyundai presented its Veloster. Alas, then almost everyone was upset that rather dull technical characteristics were hidden behind such a bright sporty appearance.

The 2016-2017 Hyundai Veloster Turbo modification can become a real bestseller and surpass the standard Veloster in popularity. If this happens, you certainly won't be surprised.

One way or another, it is up to the manufacturer to improve the standard hatchback by adding at least one more powerful engine to the lineup. Since the car was introduced back in 2011, it is quite logical to see a restyled version of the Veloster in the near future, and in a couple of years a completely new generation. Veloster Turbo can be considered a kind of intermediate stage.


By tradition, we have two versions of the charged hatch - the version of Jet and Turbo Jet. The presentation took place in Detroit, in January of this year. Admittedly, nothing great outwardly happened, but in technical terms, the car received serious improvements.

It was then that a new grille, more aggressive headlights and a lot of other things began to appear, but first things first. Overall, the interior design of the 2015 Hyundai Veloster looks a little like the Solaris, but the resemblance is very fleeting and almost imperceptible.
