In terms of dimensions and proportions, the X70 practically does not differ from its counterpart with a tenth lower serial number. Naturally, in this case, neither the ESP nor the transmission could interfere with the engine control, and I passed the track cleanly, without problems. At the same time, it seemed to me that the suspension on a car with “mechanics” worked harder, with an unpleasant rumble, although this may have been a feature of a particular sample. Nevertheless, the impression as a whole remained quite favorable, and in terms of the overall level of X70, no doubt, it is a cut above X60, and big power engine and ground clearance undoubtedly indicate that on our "directions" the new crossover will feel somewhat better than its predecessor. But to the question of whether all-wheel drive versions will be provided, I received a direct and unambiguous answer: no, the X70 will not have all-wheel drive.

Meet: BMW introduced sibling X1 models - compact crossover X2. The brother is clearly not burdened by the family, but is concerned about a more toned appearance. But if the X4 and X6 models clearly differ from their X3 and X5 donors with a coupe-like silhouette with a smoothly falling roof, then the sportiness of the BMW X2 is not so obvious. For the sake of a sportier image, the height of the crossover has been reduced by 86 mm (1526 mm) compared to the X1 model, the length by 79 mm (4360 mm) and the window sill line has been raised.
