But - just that "slightly". Because the L200 does not seem to notice the really serious potholes at all! It is this engine that will be available in Russia (the old 2.5-liter unit will remain in other markets, but will not be delivered to us). Transmissions on Russian market there will be two - a five-speed "automatic" and a new 6-speed mechanical transmission. It was the latter that was in the test car. I get behind the wheel, start the engine, get under way and... almost stall! The thing is that the clutch on a car with new transmission turned out to be too sharp and requires training. But as soon as you get used to this feature, everything falls into place - in the new Mitsubishi L200 it’s a sin to complain about the lack of traction or elasticity of the engine, and given that the first gear is made very short (another plus on off-road!), Then with all the tests the car did just fine. And this despite the fact that none of the presented cars had a rear cross-axle differential lock! But the Russians need not worry - pickups will go to our country with this option already in the database, as before.

As before, the Mitsubishi L200 front suspension is used on double levers, and at the rear - on leaf springs. However, the creators slightly increased the length of the springs. But they will become known only before the start of sales in the third quarter of 2015.

However, it is unlikely that the competitors of the model will change.
