The first stage of customization is when the factory bike is decorated with airbrushing and stickers, and body kit elements are replaced with ones bought in showrooms. Such decoration is usually produced independently. The real customization, with the manufacture of the frame, chassis and even the modernization of the engine and suspension, is done by professionals in custom workshops. They often make just one or two machines a year, at prices ranging from 5 to 10 times the face value of the original bike.
In its meaning, it is close to customizing tuning motorcycles, where the focus is on increasing engine power and improving the ride quality of the device.
