INTRODUCTION
Hyundai for the premiere of the new generation crossover Santa Fe chose the April 2012 New York Auto Show. The car arrived at the exhibition in two versions at once - a five-seater Sport and a seven-seater with an increased wheelbase.

Compared to its predecessor, the new Santa Fe has become much more elegant. The design of the crossover is made in the current Fluidic Sculpture corporate style with a hexagonal grille, narrow lighting and numerous stampings.
The salon has become clearly richer and, what is most remarkable, better not only in appearance, but also by touch. The fit of the interior trim parts is impressive - all the gaps are uniform. In the cabin, when driving, the silence is such that you can carry on a conversation in a low voice. The base five-seater Santa Fe may be sold with the Sport prefix in various markets. Its overall length is 4690 mm, width - 1880 mm, height - 1680 mm, and the wheelbase - 2700 mm. The seven-seat version of the crossover turned out to be 215 mm longer, 5 mm wider, 10 mm higher, and wheelbase stretched to 2,800 mm, which is 100 mm more than Sport version. But the interior design of both modifications is the same with a new front panel and improved finishing materials.
The car is completed with two petrol engines of 2.4 l (R4) and 3.3 l (V6). Moreover, depending on the market, two different 2.4-liter engines can be installed - with direct and port injection. As well as two diesel engines of 2.0 l and 2.2 l of a new generation (more powerful, with best performance economy). Engines are aggregated with 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission gears.
McPherson type front suspension and multi-link rear suspension provide excellent handling, increased ride comfort, and improved vehicle stability when cornering.

5. Replacing fuses
For guard electrical system fuses are used to protect the vehicle from failure as a result of electrical overload. This car has two (or three) fuse panels. One is located under the panel on the driver's side, the rest are in the engine compartment near the battery. If any of your vehicle's lights, accessories, or controls are not working, check fuse corresponding circuit. If the fuse is blown, the conductor inside it will be melted. If the electrical system does not work, first check the fuse panel on the driver's side. Disconnect the negative battery cable before replacing a blown fuse. Always use a fuse of the same rating to replace a blown fuse. If the fuse blows again after the replacement, this indicates a malfunction of the electrical system components. Avoid using affected systems. We recommend that you consult an authorized HYUNDAI dealer for advice.
ATTENTIONAlways use a fuse of the same rating when replacing a fuse.
Installing a fuse with a large current rating may result in damage and fire.
Do not even temporarily install jumper wires to replace the corresponding fuses. This may damage electrical wiring and the outbreak of fire.
Do not use a screwdriver or any other metal object to remove fuses as this may cause a short circuit and damage the electrical system.
When replacing a blown fuse or relay with a new one, make sure the new fuse or relay fits snugly into the retainers. Incomplete installation of a fuse or relay may result in damage to the vehicle's wiring and electrical systems, and possible fire.
Do not remove fuses, relays and terminals secured with bolts or nuts. Fuses, relays, and terminals may not be fully secured, which could result in a fire.

INTRODUCTION

The Limited package includes SE elements plus leather seats (front heated), power driver's seat adjustment and dual zone climate control. All modifications can be equipped with XM satellite radio.
Options are offered as packages. So, if desired, you can install a third row of seats and a panoramic sunroof, as well as DVD system(only for SE and Limited). The SE offers an upgraded stereo system with a six-disc CD changer, while the Limited has an Infinity surround sound system.
All three models are front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive (AWD).

3. REPLACING FUSES
CHECKING THE CONDITION OF FUSES AND THEIR REPLACEMENT
FUSE LINK REPLACEMENT
The fusible link will burn out whenever there is an overload of electrical circuits connected directly to battery thus, it prevents damage to the entire electrical wiring of the car. (This overload may be due to the presence of too high current due to short circuit in system). If this happens, contact a specialist workshop Hyundai service so they can find the cause, repair the system, and replace the fuse. REPLACEMENT OF FUSES OF ELECTRIC CIRCUIT OF AUXILIARY SYSTEMS

4. Replace by removing the blown fuse and replacing it with a new fuse, which must be securely seated in the contact holder. If this does not happen, contact an authorized station Maintenance to repair or replace a faulty fuse holder. If a spare fuse is not available, a fuse of the same or smaller rating can be used by removing it from a circuit that can be temporarily dispensed with (for example, a radio or cigarette lighter circuit).
