There are dampers in the intake manifold, there are six of them for each cylinder, and each damper is held by two small bolts with a groiver. So, over time, from vibration, these bolts are unscrewed and fall into the cylinders, and a very terrible heartbreaking knock appears, and panic, you think everything, the engine has come to an end. But no. What started it all. We are returning from fishing in the dark. I was walking about 130 km / h and, seeing a wave on the road ahead, I slowed down, but still the rear end threw up, and a strange noise and knock immediately appeared. I thought something was wrong with the hodovka, I stopped, opened the door, and a knock came from the engine. What happened, I did not understand. After about 70 km, my brother pulled me into the city on Vesta, although one cable was torn. When I got home, I began to study the Internet, that someone like this happened. And yes, these are the same bolts from the dampers. One person writes that he dashed off 40 thousand with such a knock, then he decided to repair it, and they found these bolts from him, replaced the piston. Someone, having learned about such a problem, having disassembled the intake manifold, saw such a picture that the dampers were unscrewed, but there were no bolts at all. Well, back to our problem. Having disassembled the collector, they found the loss of two bolts and groivers. I did not want to disassemble the heads at all in order to find the bolts. To begin with, we decided to buy a Chinese endoscope for 1,200 rubles, complete with a nozzle, a hook and a magnet. So, with this small chamber they climbed into the cylinders, having previously removed the candles. We found bolts and groiver all broken. They got it for a long time with a magnet on the camera, but, Thank God, they got everything, everything worked out. They put everything in place. I screwed these unfortunate bolts onto the thread lock, and on the reverse side I spoiled the thread so that they would not get out at all. After they assembled the engine and no problems: no sound, no knock - everything is as before. I went to the track, dispersed to 180 - it goes normally, everything is as before. This is what I call a marketing conspiracy, what do you think these engineers screwed up like that? No, I highly doubt it. This problem can be attributed to the minuses. But it is solvable and even, I would say, easily solvable. There were no streaks - everything is normal.

Sold to brother Santa Fe, because urgently needed money. The main thing is that everyone in our family likes the car. Even the vestavod rides on it to the village through the mud with a satisfied face.
