Most of the power supply circuits of the electrical equipment of the car are protected by fuses. Headlights, fan motors, fuel pump and other powerful current consumers are connected via relays.
The car has fuses and relays...

... in the rear A (Fig. 10.1) and front B (Fig. 10.2) mounting blocks located in the engine compartment ...

... in the mounting block located in the passenger compartment (Fig. 10.3) of the car under the cover in the opening of the lower trim of the instrument panel ...

... as well as in an additional fuse box attached to the positive terminal of the battery.
The purpose of the fuses and relays of the rear mounting block A of the engine compartment, as well as the circuits protected by them, are indicated in Table. 10.1, front mounting block B of the engine compartment - in table. 10.2.
The purpose of the fuses and relays in the mounting block located in the passenger compartment is given in Table. 10.3.

1. To gain access to the mounting block located in the cabin, pull the cover handle ...

2. ... and remove the cover, overcoming the elastic resistance of the latches.

NOTE.

3. To gain access to the mounting blocks located in the engine compartment, remove the air intake (see).

4. Squeeze out the latch of the rear mounting block ...

5. ... lift the mounting block out of the housing ...

6. ...and expand the block for easy work with it.

NOTE.

On the wall of the mounting block of the relay and fuses, located in the engine compartment, the designations of the fuses and the circuits protected by them are applied.

7. Press the latch on the cover of the front mounting block of fuses, relays and fuses ...

8. ... and remove the cover.

NOTE

On the inside of the decorative cover there is a diagram of the location and purpose of the fuses.

9. Before replacing a blown fuse or fuse, find out the cause of the blown and fix it. When looking for a malfunction, look at the ones listed in Table. 10.1-10.3 the circuits that this fuse or fuse protects.

WARNING.
Do not replace fuses with jumpers or fuses of a different amperage or makeshift jumpers - this may damage electrical appliances and even cause a fire.

10. Remove tweezers A (see Fig. 10.3) from the mounting block holder located in the car.

11. Grab the fuse with tweezers ...

12. ... and remove it from the connector (for clarity, shown on the removed rear mounting block).

13. Install a fuse of the same rating as the removed one into the connector.

HELPFUL ADVICE.

To replace the fuses of the rear mounting block in the engine compartment, it is more convenient to use pliers with thin jaws.

14. If replacement is necessary, remove the relay from the mounting block by rocking it from side to side ...

15. ... and install a new relay.
16. Fuses and relays of all mounting blocks are replaced in the same way.
17. Fusible inserts replace similarly replacement of the relay.

These diagrams are relevant for Almera N17 models of 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Blocks with fuses and relays are located under the hood and in the cabin. The figure below shows these locations.

First block- in the cabin.
Second block- under the hood, near the battery.
Third block- under the hood on the left side. Only a few relays are included.

Let's decipher each of them by amperes and what this or that relay is responsible for. The diagrams below show in detail what each of the fuses is responsible for and how many amperes it is designed for.

Any modern and not very car is equipped with a fuse box, which is responsible for the functioning of all electrical devices. In older cars, there is only one such fuse box; new cars are equipped with several devices. Now you will find out where the Nissan Qashqai fuse box is located, what the components are responsible for and how to change them if necessary.

Location

Almost all electrical power circuits of the machine are protected by fuses, which are located in a special block. All consumable equipment, such as a radio tape recorder, a gas pump, interior lights, brake lights, and others, is connected to the fuse mounting block (hereinafter referred to as the PSU).

As for Nissan Qashqai vehicles, these semi-crossovers are equipped with three PSUs. One of the blocks in which both relays and conventional fusible parts are installed is located in the vehicle interior, namely in the dashboard itself to the left of the steering wheel. In general, in the area of \u200b\u200bthe driver's seat. It is hidden behind a plastic lining.

As for the second and third PSU, they can be found in the engine compartment. If you open the hood, you can see both mechanisms from the left headlight, opposite the driver's seat. They are located behind the battery in the area of the air intake pipe.

Scheme

On the reverse side of the facing cover of the PSU, the manufacturer specifically indicated the layout of the elements. In addition, on it you can see the table of the purpose of the parts. Each of them performs a specific function. Well, consider the component diagram below.

This is what the details of the device look like. A more detailed description of them is provided below.

How to remove and replace?

The question of dismantling and replacing PSU links is relevant for all owners of Nissan Qashqai. In the event of a failure, for example, of a part of a cigarette lighter or a light bulb in the cabin, it is necessary not only to know their location. It is also necessary to properly replace the burned-out element. It's not that hard to do:

  1. First you need to decide in which particular PSU you need to change the details. Then you should remove the negative terminal from the battery. After that, open the protective lining of the PSU and take the tongs intended for dismantling.
  2. Using these tweezers, hook the burnt component and pull it out. Inspect the contact socket just in case: it should be as clean as possible. If necessary, clean it with a brush.
  3. Take a new part and mount it in place of the failed one. Consider the fact that the denomination on them must match.

As you can see, there is nothing particularly complicated about this. The main thing to remember is that each link in the electrical circuit corresponds to the rating prescribed by the manufacturer. And you can't break it in any way. After all, if the value of the chain links is not respected, this leads to their more frequent failure. In addition, in some cases it causes a short circuit.
