Many manufacturers install this resistor as a fuse, and when overheated, it often burns out, protecting the winding from short circuit. It is enough to replace the thermistor (in extreme cases, short it with a jumper), and the magnet will work again.
Final step - clearance adjustment
After any manipulations with the clutch, it is necessary to correctly set the gap between the pulley and the pressure plate. In most compressor models, this gap should be in the range of 0.3-0.5 mm. If it is smaller, the pulley will catch the plate during rotation. If there is more, the platinum will not be pressed tightly and will begin to slip.
