Brabus showed the Rocket 900 super convertible, based on the Mercedes-Benz S 65. Surprisingly, he received a road permit. Judge for yourself: 900 hp, 1500 Newtonometers, 3.9 s to hundreds and a maximum speed indicated as “over 350 km/h”. These parameters make the car the world's fastest 4-seater convertible with a permit.
This was achieved by increasing the working volume of V12 from 6 to 6.3 liters. Frantic power is transmitted to the rear wheels (!) Through a specially modified seven-speed DSG box. At the same time, it had to reach 4200 rpm. limit torque to 1200 Nm.

The off-road “treshka” in the back of the G01 is built on the CLAR modular platform (the BMW 5th and 7th series are also based on it), which made it possible to reduce the weight of the car by more than half a centner and achieve an equal weight distribution between the axles. The novelty is 6 cm longer than its predecessor, and almost the entire increase fell on the wheelbase. In the cabin, not only has it become more spacious (especially the rear passengers will feel it), but also a widescreen media center screen and an optional electronic dashboard have appeared. In the "base" - LED headlights, 18-inch "casting" and adaptive "cruise", and for a fee you can order a 3-zone "climate", ventilated front seats and adaptive suspension. Prices range from 2,950,000 rubles for a 184-horsepower X3 xDrive20i to 4,040,000 rubles for a 360-horsepower X3 M40i.
The Frankfurt Motor Show will be the launching pad for Chery's crusade to Europe. However, it will not be easy for the Chinese to complete the task, even despite the fact that modern Chery models are almost as good as European ones in terms of design, safety and consumer qualities. classmates.
The second generation of the budget Franco-Romanian crossover visually differs little from the first. And yet we have a completely new model! So far, not much is known about the New Duster: the manufacturer used the upgraded B0 platform (Kaptur is also built on it) and changed the body geometry by moving the A-pillar forward, which should add “air” to the cabin. By the way, what the interior will be like is also still unknown - it will be shown for the first time in Frankfurt.
“Ferrari for the poor” is too offensive a nickname for such a beautiful coupe-cabriolet, but there is no getting away from it - after all, the Portofino is really the most affordable model in the lineup of the company from Maranello (although with a new price of 200 thousand euros, it’s not possible to say “affordable” quite correct). This model replaced the California T coupe-cabriolet, and its appearance and interior design were “peeped” from the Ferrari GTC4Lusso. Under the hood is a modernized "turbo-eight" from "California", the power of which has increased from 560 to 600 hp. True, the dynamics have improved slightly - up to a hundred, the novelty accelerates in 3.5 seconds, only 0.1 seconds faster than its predecessor.
Frankfurt will host the European debut of the updated Ecosport, which had previously been “lit up” on American market. During the restyling, the designers got rid of the ugly “pimple” of the spare wheel on the tailgate, and also thoroughly modernized the interior by installing a modern media system.
Jaguar designers look to the distant future, when all cars will be equipped with an autopilot, and the driver's role will be reduced to command functions. In this future, there is also no place for private ownership on wheels - cars are supposed to be taken on a short-term lease. Among other similar projects, the Jaguar Future Type features unusual steering wheel, to which all machine control systems are tied. This steering wheel can be removed and taken with you - it will store the driver's personal data and his personal preferences. Plus, this electronic steering wheel can replace a smartphone and provide communication with smart home systems.
In addition to the concept, Jaguar will bring a very mundane model to Frankfurt, which nevertheless promises to collect a full house at the stand of the British automaker. We are talking about the compact crossover E-Pace, designed to challenge the Audi Q3, BMW X1, Lexus NX and even the related Range Rover Evoque. Despite its modest size, "I Pace" has the largest wheelbase and the most spacious trunk among classmates. It has no equal in terms of equipment: the basic equipment of the model includes LED headlights, TouchPro media systems with a 10-inch screen and all-wheel drive, and for a surcharge, the novelty can be equipped with a 12.3-inch dashboard and a waterproof key bracelet. Prices are already known - from 2,455,000 rubles. The start of sales is scheduled for the spring.
Kia at IAA 2017 will lift the veil of secrecy over the new generation of its Golf model by showing a prototype version of the Proceed (now this name is spelled together, without underscores). From a 3-door hatchback, the new Prosid turned into a stylish station wagon, having received not only a couple of additional doors, but also an increased wheelbase. The serial version, of course, will be more modest, and we will find out which one exactly next year.
Merce decided to beat the competition by releasing the first "premium" pickup truck with a European pedigree. True, Japanese genes predominate in the X-class DNA, because the novelty is built on the Nissan Navara chassis. However, the Mercedes-Benz designers did a good job of disguising the source (in fact, the body was drawn from scratch) and improved the quality of the finishing materials. The X-class will appear in Russia next year.
The “epidemic” of electrification has overtaken the British brand: a prototype of the “emission-free” Mini will debut in Frankfurt. And it will not be an electric modification of the usual 3-door Cooper, but a completely new car! Such a machine will go into production in 2019.
Second generation Nissan electric car surpasses its popular predecessor in all respects. The new "Leaf" has become more spacious, received a modern media center, a "sharper" steering wheel, and, most importantly, a completely redesigned power unit. The new Cayenne has become larger and lower than its predecessor, its trunk has increased by 100 liters, although the wheelbase of the model has not changed. And now the flagship Porsche crossover now has a fully controlled chassis, mixed tires, active all-wheel drive, three-chamber air suspension and an electronic roll suppression system. In addition, the Cayenne was equipped with tungsten carbide-coated cast iron brake discs for the first time. There are many times fewer buttons in the cabin - they were replaced by touch panels, and the media center received a screen high resolution diagonal 12.3 inches. Russian dealers Porsche will begin accepting orders for the novelty in January.
Despite the outward resemblance to the old Phantom, the novelty has nothing to do with it. The British carried out a colossal upgrade of the model, leaving no stone unturned from the constructive artifacts of its predecessor. Smart sees the automotive future behind electric vehicles, unmanned technologies and the car sharing market. Moreover, all these trends are combined into one idea - the idea of an unmanned electric vehicle that can be rented for a short time. A prototype of such a model will be shown in Frankfurt. Smart Vision EQ is not just an electric car with autopilot: this car does not have a driver's seat as such. In fact, this is a smart transport capsule with autonomous control or a taxi of the future, whose virtual driver is an integral part of the software shell.
Noticeably late with the release of a subcompact crossover, in Volkswagen nevertheless, they do not leave hopes to oust competitors in this segment in the global market. The T-Rock is a quarter of a meter shorter than the Tiguan, but not much tighter! The designers stretched the wheelbase to 2603 mm, making a decent trunk (445 liters) and not depriving the rear passengers of the place. The novelty also promises buyers a drive (in this, in particular, turbo engines with a capacity of up to 190 hp will help) and advanced technologies - who else will offer a dual-zone “climate”, radar cruise control or an electronic dashboard with an 8-inch screen?
MQB platform, more spacious saloon and the trunk, modern media systems and perky turbo engines with a capacity of up to 200 (!) "horses" - by all indications, the Polo should become a new standard for a B-class car. For the first time in this segment, the Polo will be available with full LED headlights, adaptive cruise control with regular system automatic braking, intelligent "climate", system automatic parking, wireless charger and more. And although there will be no such hatchbacks on the Russian market, we are interested in this model as a projection of the future Polo Sedan, which is expected to premiere next year.
