Car company KIA Motors has introduced a new concept Kia Proceed Concept. The presentation took place as part of a special event in Germany in the famous. Our work will present the main indicators of the appearance and architecture of the cabin, dimensions, technical indicators and cost. There is no doubt that the designers have developed a quite imposing salon and tried to introduce into it all the elements of decor and equipment known today. It is worth considering carefully, the seats of the first and second row are made like a bucket and trimmed with faux fur. In the driver's area there is a multifunctional steering wheel, made in the style of the 70s, a modern dashboard slightly turned towards the driver, which adds convenience and comfort when driving.

The Kia Proceed concept is equipped with easy control systems, just touch the display, no need to perform mechanical actions. In management, everything is extremely simple and logical, the assistant buttons are located in the sequence familiar to drivers.
The salon is simply amazing with its originality, bright colors, interesting lighting effect, glass roof, frameless doors - all this delights and fascinates.
The interior is finished in red and the steering wheel is black, which adds an interesting contrast.
The center console changes color depending on the driving mode: Autonomous, Eco and GT.

The promising concept car Kia Proceed, for the first time back in late summer, is finally presented live at the Frankfurt Motor Show. All this is good, but how much of this bright car will remain with the serial Sid of the next generation? Alas, it is not worth deceiving yourself. Along with flavorings, many other features will also disappear.
Actually, only the general style and shape of the five-door body will be preserved: in the lineup, such a liftback will take the place of the current three-door Kia pro_cee "d. The parent brand Hyundai has already implemented the same strategy, replacing the three-door i30 with a coupe. In addition, the range of the new Sid will include two more body types: it is easy to guess that this is a traditional short-tailed hatchback and station wagon.
Rear-wheel drive proportions will disappear: the new cee'd will retain the front-wheel drive platform, so you can forget about the short front overhang and the large “prestige distance” (between the front edge of the door and the wheel arch). Rear-wheel drive in the Kia range will only be on the larger Stinger and Quoris models. Frames will appear at the doors, central pillars will appear at the body, instead of 20-inch rollers, wheels will be installed standard for such machines. And the serial interior is unlikely to inherit anything from the concept at all.
But do not rush to get upset. Even with all the reservations, the future cee "d and Procced promise to be bright and pretty cars. Today, daytime running lights have become one of the most important elements of vehicle recognition. However, Proceed Concept uses new lighting technologies in a different way. The concept received a Lumiline light line - a characteristic illuminated contour framing the glazing area. This circuit lights up to greet the driver as he approaches the vehicle. This solution not only makes the Proceed Concept easy to spot at night, but also emphasizes the sporty silhouette of the body.
Despite many new design solutions, the Proceed Concept retained many of the characteristic features of the entire KIA model line. The radiator grille is made in the corporate style “Tiger smile” (“tiger nose”), the elaborate lines of the hood echo the recently debuted KIA Stinger. The concept car received the recognizable outlines of the windshield, the glazing of the roof along the entire length and the unique combination of curved smooth surfaces and detailed edges, for which the brand's design is known. Each of these decisions emphasizes that the Proceed Concept is a true representative of the modern KIA model range.
The concept car is painted in a specially designed Lava Red. The technology for creating the coloring consists in the multi-layer application of manually layers of black, silver with a chrome effect and red tinted varnish.

The company itself says that the Proceed concept received a fastback body, with which Kia has not yet had a single model. Prior to that, they called the car none other than Extended hot-hatch, that is, “stretched hothatch”. We, looking at the photos, clearly see a station wagon with a shooting brake body, a swift and dynamic version of a utility vehicle.
At the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Kia Proceed will be shown in a sporty GT version with an aggressive aerodynamic body kit, carbon fiber elements and 20-inch alloy wheels. From the front, the concept is 100% recognizable as Kia, and not only due to the branded tiger smile grille, but also due to the similarity with the already serial Stinger liftback.
The roofline slopes gently towards the rear, and the tops of the C-pillars are darkened, giving the roof a "floating" effect. The concept has no B-pillars, and the door handles are hidden in the doors and automatically move out of their niches. The main "trick" of the concept was the LED frame around the line of windows, which lights up when the driver approaches the car.

Actually, in his words there is a hint that such a version will appear in the cee'd line in the next generation along with a hatchback and a regular station wagon. The fact is that interest in three-door hatchbacks in Europe is rapidly declining, a number of companies have basically abandoned this type of body on the next generations of their models. Kia is clearly following in their footsteps, and such a modification will take the place of the emotional driver's version instead of the pro'ceed. Practical and dynamic at the same time.
The interior of the Kia car will be declassified only at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but most likely it will be a four-seater. Of course, the production version will receive the usual five-seat interior, ordinary door handles, and the LED window frame lighting will remain a design experiment.
