This time the event was decided to skip such brands as Nissan, Volvo, Peugeot, DS, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Infiniti and Mitsubishi, which together account for about 20% of European sales.
There are many reasons for this - from pragmatic savings (participation in such image shows costs hundreds of thousands of euros) to unwillingness to compete with German brands, which traditionally receive maximum attention from guests at a home showroom. Someone preferred to hold separate presentations of their main models, and someone to endure until the October International Motor Show in Tokyo.
Despite such losses in the ranks, about 50 brands brought their world premieres and novelties to Frankfurt, and some of them have good prospects to be in Russia.

Noticeably late with the release subcompact crossover, Volkswagen nevertheless does not leave hopes to press competitors in this segment in the global market.
