2018 compact luxury sport car The Audi A3 is available as a sedan, convertible and in the A3 Sportback e-tron model as a hybrid hatchback. Despite its small size, the A3 contains all the essential parts of Audi, including a powerful range of engines, quality salon, lots of high-tech goodies and a quattro all-wheel drive option.

The 2019 combination of features and performance gives the A3 and its high-performance siblings the S3 and RS3 an edge over rivals like the Infiniti QX30, Mercedes-Benz CLA and Acura ILX while keeping prices well below the BMW 2 Series. The sports-focused S3 and RS3 premium machines offer amazing performance at a hefty price tag. The 2018 Audi A3 doesn't have the same visual appeal as the Mercedes-Benz CLA or Infiniti QX30, and you'll find best price and more legroom in the Acura ILX. Potential owners of the top Audi A3 are offered several engine options, although they all have the same 2.0 liters. The 2018 A3 Cabriolet starts at around $39,325 for FWD, or $42,000 if you want AWD. Conservationists can get the Sportback e-tron for as little as $40,500, while the energy hungry can get an Audi S3 for as little as $45,000.

The 2018 ATS is Cadillac's reveal, representing the American luxury brand's least expensive model. Available as a sedan or coupe, the 2018 Cadillac ATS competes with such popular executive cars. entry level like a bmw 3 series, Mercedes-Benz C-class, Audi A4 and Lexus IS. While these rivals are more established and well-known, the Cadillac ATS have done an admirable job. Base sedan The ATS matches competitors like the Audi A4 and Infiniti Q50 and falls short of others like the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Lexus IS. The Acura TLX starts lower, as does the Volvo S60.
