It is based on the same mechanics, ECU and servo mechanisms, however, unlike single-disk robots, there are already two clutches. Simply put, two mechanical boxes are combined in one gearbox housing at once, one has a shaft with even and the other with odd gears.

At the same time, repairs can turn out to be very costly, approaching in cost and even exceeding the price of repairing “classic” hydromechanical automatic transmissions.
