Stopping a car on the road. Stopping and parking according to traffic rules: what is the difference between two road signs

Hello dear readers! Decided to do small review mistakes made by candidates for drivers at a practical exam in the traffic police (city). The reason for writing the review was the complication of the conditions for taking the exam in the city. Starting with an increase in the duration of the exam in time, to the complication of the tasks that the inspector sets for candidate drivers (read the rules for taking the exam in the city). If you remember how the exam was taken yesterday, the percentage of those who successfully passed the exam was quite high, but today the situation has changed a lot. Now it is not enough just to drive in a straight line and make one turn with a stop. Now it is required to be able to correctly perform turns when passing through intersections, I want to pay attention to it correctly. We must be able to turn around at intersections and with the help of the surrounding area, as well as pass intersections with roundabout.

Let's move on to the mistakes that are most often made on the exam in the city. And let's start not with pedestrians, who are more likely to scare beginners, but with turns, the incorrect implementation of which immediately nullifies the entire exam. Further, road signs that we stubbornly do not want to notice during the exam. And the team, to find a place to turn around, it immediately puts the examinee into a “stop” ( these are not my words). I won't go into a long discussion about the reasons for failing the exam. It's better to start sorting out the errors in the examples and perhaps it will help someone to do this. correct conclusions. I want to pay attention, all examples are not hints for the exam and a guide to action. We analyze the mistakes made during the delivery practical exam traffic police in the city.

Error 1 (failed to give way to pedestrians)

Of course, pedestrians, as we would like them not to meet us at the exam, but it usually turns out the other way around.

14.1. Driver vehicle approaching an unregulated pedestrian crossing is obliged to give way to pedestrians crossing the road or stepping on carriageway (tram rails) to make the transition.

More often, we do not notice pedestrians when making a right turn, because we forget that we need to make sure not only that there are no approaching vehicles, but we must also assess the upcoming direction of our movement. We must not forget that even in the absence of a pedestrian crossing, when turning, we must give way to pedestrians on the road on which we are turning.

13.1. When turning right or left, the driver must give way to pedestrians and cyclists crossing the carriageway onto which he is turning.

Try to remember what we constantly talk about while studying. That's right, about the ability to see road signs. Not to remember their geographical location, but to see. IN this case, as in the picture below, the situation is the same as with pedestrians, we look at the obstacle on the left, and where we go next, we leave it for later. Although if you pay attention, most of the road signs become visible to us even at the entrance to the intersection. But during the turn, we may not notice the signs. Next, the command of the traffic police inspector, to find a place to stop, the result is predictable, especially if there are already parked vehicles after the sign in violation of the Rules traffic. It remains only to be offended by your carelessness. We do know that after the sign 3.27 “Stopping is prohibited”, stopping and parking of vehicles are prohibited?

We have another interesting road sign that we don't see. We are talking about the sign 5.5 "Road with one-way traffic." And more often, difficulties with the 5.5 sign arise when, turning at an intersection, we enter a one-way road that just begins at this intersection. Then the proposal of the traffic police inspector, at the next intersection, turn left. I think we guessed it ourselves, we turn left, considering that we are on a two-way road.

8.5.

Error 3 (violation of the rules of rotation)

The following mistakes, which are very often present in the exam, are related to the implementation of turns. Very often we forget to take the appropriate extreme position on the carriageway in advance in accordance with the Rules of the Road.

8.5. Before turning right, left or U-turn, the driver is obliged to take the appropriate extreme position in advance on the carriageway intended for movement in this direction, except when making a turn at the entrance to an intersection where a roundabout is organized.

Failure to comply with the requirements of the rules, when turning right, move as close as possible to the right edge of the carriageway.

8.6.

When making a left turn, sometimes we try to enter the lane intended for oncoming traffic, although the Rules prohibit this.

8.6.

Especially often, violation of the rules of rotation (reversal), driver candidates commit when they have to take an exam in the winter. The reason is mainly due to the fact that the snow cover hides the road surface, a rut forms on the road ( section of the carriageway on which vehicles mainly move). Candidates for drivers do not take into account that the width of the carriageway is not limited to the rolled section of the road and forget to take an extreme position on the road to perform a maneuver.

Error 4 (not yielded to route vehicles)

Quite often, route vehicles became the reason for not passing the practical exam in the city. Which we must give way to when they start moving from the designated stop. The reason is not very clear, because everyone knows that if a shuttle vehicle starts moving, it is enough to slow down or even stop. No, we continue to move, not quite understanding at what point to give way. What tells us about the possible start of the bus? First of all, please note that the bus is at a stop for a certain time, passengers do not enter or exit the bus, the doors are closed and, of course, the direction indicators.

18.3. In built-up areas, drivers must give way to trolleybuses and buses starting from a designated stop. Drivers of trolleybuses and buses can start moving only after they are sure that they are given way.

Error 5 (did not give way, in the presence of interference)

Let's consider a mistake due to which the exam ends, but which could not have been made. And the error is related to the oncoming passing on narrow road when vehicles are parked on our side of the road. In this situation, if there are oncoming vehicles, it is enough to stop without leaving your lane and only after passing oncoming vehicles to continue moving. In another situation, if we have already started the maneuver and there is no way to complete it due to oncoming vehicles, we can stop and make sure that we will be given the opportunity to complete the maneuver. If not, pull close to parked vehicles while maintaining a safe lateral spacing and stop. Wait for the oncoming vehicle to pass and then continue driving. Do not wait for you, this will be done by the traffic police inspector.

11.7. If the oncoming traffic is difficult, the driver on whose side there is an obstacle must give way.

Error 6 (violation of the rules for stopping at a prohibitory traffic light or in the presence of priority signs)

Now let's talk about stopping places at a prohibitory traffic signal or the presence of priority signs at intersections. Here we are mistaken with the place of the necessary stop. If, in the presence of a stop line, we mostly (with rare exceptions, mainly due to inattention) stop correctly.

1.12 - indicates the place where the driver must stop in the presence of a sign 2.5 or at a prohibitory traffic signal ( traffic controller).

Then, for example, at intersections, if there is a sign 2.5 “Movement without stopping is prohibited” and there is no stop line, we get lost. Although the rules are all clear what we should do in the absence of a stop line. And notice, we are obliged not only to slow down, but to perform a complete stop.

It is forbidden to move without stopping in front of the stop line, and if there is none, in front of the edge of the crossed carriageway. The driver must give way to vehicles moving on the intersected, and if there is a sign 8.13 - on the main road.

Error 7 (exceeding the set speed)

Exceeding the set speed is quite common in the exam, despite the fact that we try not to move very fast. And basically, we do not comply with the requirements of sign 3.24 “Restriction top speed”, with a specified speed of 20 km / h. The reason is our carelessness.

10.1. The driver must drive the vehicle at a speed not exceeding the established limit, taking into account the traffic intensity, the characteristics and condition of the vehicle and cargo, road and meteorological conditions, in particular visibility in the direction of travel. The speed must allow the driver to constant control behind the movement of the vehicle to comply with the requirements of the Rules.

Error 8 (did not take measures to reduce speed, in case of danger)

On the road, it is impossible to foresee all possible situations that may arise while driving. And here, it remains for us to make decisions on our own, especially when there is a danger to movement. Sometimes it is enough just to slow down and stop, despite the fact that you do not violate the Rules of the Road in relation to other road users. Otherwise, as mentioned above, the traffic police inspector will do this during the exam.

1.5. Road users must act in such a way that they do not endanger traffic or cause harm.

10.1. …If there is a traffic hazard that the driver is able to detect, he must take possible measures to slow down until the vehicle comes to a halt.

Error 9 (failure to comply with prescriptive signs)

The next reason for our "failure" in the exam, prescriptive signs. As we remember from the Rules, the signs of this group indicate to us the permitted directions of movement.

4. Mandatory signs

4.1.1 "Going straight", 4.1.2 "Going right", 4.1.3 "Going left", 4.1.4 "Going straight or right", 4.1.5 "Going straight or left", 4.1.6 "Going right or to the left." Movement is allowed only in the directions indicated by arrows on the signs. Signs that allow a left turn also allow a U-turn (signs 4.1.1 - 4.1.6 can be used with an arrow configuration corresponding to the required directions of movement at a particular intersection).

Consider the errors associated with these road signs. When moving on the road, we are obliged to monitor the traffic situation and observe the Rules of the road. Unfortunately, we know everything, but we do not fulfill it, but we just need a little attention and the signs will not escape our attention.

We must not forget that if the inspector is silent, it does not mean that we can continue straight ahead. Perhaps the prescriptive sign obliges us to change just our direction of movement.

Another situation is the instruction of the traffic police inspector. At the crossroads denouement) turn left. Who should follow the established signs, right, we are. Optionally, the first turn will be ours, we look at the signs, we see that the left turn is prohibited, so we go further. The inspector did not give us the command to turn at this particular intersection.

Mandatory signs and our search for a place to turn around. If you are offered to find a place to turn around, take your time. Look carefully at the signs and only then make a decision.

Error 10 (wrong lane selection for further movement)

Let's make a short stop at the signs of special requirements, namely the signs 5.15.1 "Directions of traffic along the lanes" and 5.15.2 "Directions of traffic along the lane". Unfortunately, these signs are also the cause of "failure" in the exam. Why do we get lost at the sight of these road signs? They told us to turn left at the intersection, and we are in the right lane. It's simple, try to change lanes, and if it doesn't work out, we go in the allowed direction. We find a place to turn and continue along the route. Everyone decided tickets and always did the right thing in theory, and here it is. You can not move in a direction different from that indicated on the sign for our lane!

Signs of special regulations introduce or cancel certain modes of movement.

5.15.1 "Directions of the lanes". The number of lanes and permitted directions of movement for each of them.

5.15.2 "Directions of the lane". Permitted lane directions.

Signs 5.15.1 and 5.15.2, allowing a left turn from the leftmost lane, also allow a U-turn from this lane. The effect of signs 5.15.1 and 5.15.2, installed in front of the intersection, applies to the entire intersection, unless other signs 5.15.1 and 5.15.2, installed on it, give other indications.

Error 11 (violation of the reversal rules)

Reversals, reversals. How we hope that we do not hear this command for ourselves: "Find a place to turn around." But today in exams, turning around is an obligatory maneuver that we must perform. What mistakes are we making here? Let's start with the fact that before turning at the intersection, we must take the extreme left position in advance, make sure that the turn in this place is not prohibited by the Rules and we have enough room for maneuver. And there is no need to immediately try to make a U-turn at the first intersection of the carriageways. In our exams, it often turns out differently. We go for a U-turn and only then evaluate the fact that we do not have enough space to complete the maneuver, and the movement in reverse at the intersection is prohibited.

Or even better, only from the inspector we learn that in this place the U-turn was prohibited by traffic signs. Remember, who should monitor the traffic situation?

8.5. Before turning right, left or U-turn, the driver is obliged to take the appropriate extreme position in advance on the carriageway intended for movement in this direction, except when making a turn at the entrance to an intersection where a roundabout is organized.

8.11. U-turn is prohibited:

at pedestrian crossings;
in tunnels;
on bridges, viaducts, overpasses and under them; at railway crossings;
in places where the visibility of the road in at least one direction is less than 100 m;
at the stops of route vehicles.

Error 12 (failed to yield to vehicles approaching from the right)

Very often on the roads, we have to deal with a situation when, when performing a maneuver, for example, a turn or a U-turn, other road users are trying to make it in parallel with us. The most important thing here is not to forget that regardless of whether we are right or wrong, try to perform the maneuver safely. As you can see in the picture below, several cars perform one maneuver at the same time, and this situation also often occurs during the exam. And we, directing all our attention to vehicles moving along the crossed road, forget about those who are next to us. Leaving at the same time, they become an obstacle for us on the right and here we are obliged to yield.

8.9. In cases where the trajectories of vehicles intersect, and the order of passage is not specified by the Rules, the driver must give way to whom the vehicle is approaching from the right.

Error 13 (violation of the rules for leaving the roundabout)

Consider the mistake that we make when driving through roundabouts, namely, leaving the “ring” without taking the appropriate extreme position. As we know, leaving the roundabout is a right turn and therefore our duty is to take the extreme right position on the carriageway in advance parts ( not just the right lane) and at the exit, move as close as possible to the right edge of the carriageway.

8.5. Before turning right, left or U-turn, the driver is obliged to take the appropriate extreme position in advance on the carriageway intended for movement in this direction, except when making a turn at the entrance to an intersection where a roundabout is organized.

8.6. The turn should be carried out in such a way that when leaving the intersection of the carriageway, the vehicle does not end up on the side of oncoming traffic.

When turning right, the vehicle should move as close as possible to the right edge of the carriageway.

Error 14 (violation of the Rules by other road users)

The following situation that can occur on the road leading to the failure of a practical driving test ( city), is associated with the intervention of the inspector taking the exam in driving. And here, not because of the violation of the Rules of the road by us. And because of the violation of the Rules by other road users. When turning right, we should move as close as possible to the right edge of the carriageway, which we do in the exam. Approaching an intersection where we must give way ( considering turning right) we make sure that there are no approaching vehicles on the main road and start to drive to the intersection and here ... the traffic police inspector intervenes in driving. We didn't notice the vehicle before leaving, even though a second ago there was no one on the main road. The reason lies in the fact that the configuration of some intersections ( as in the photo below) allows you to immediately enter the lane, of course, this happens in violation of the Rules, which is what some road users use, while when turning right we move as close as possible to the right edge and lose sight of the vehicles leaving because of our "backs". There is only one advice here, always immediately before entering the intersection, once again make sure that there are no approaching vehicles.

Error 15 (failure to meet the requirements of priority signs)

I complete the review of the mistakes that we make in the exam at the traffic police (city), with priority signs. The main reason is our carelessness. It happens that we do not notice the priority signs installed at the intersection. When we try to continue driving without making sure of safety, in the presence of signs 2.4 “Give way” and 2.5 “Movement without stopping is prohibited”, this is only our fault. And of course, they must confidently determine the order of passage through the intersection if there is a sign 8.13 “Direction of the main road”.

13.9. At the intersection of unequal roads, the driver of a vehicle moving along a secondary road must give way to vehicles approaching along the main road, regardless of the direction of their further movement.

13.10. In the case when the main road changes direction at an intersection, drivers moving along the main road must be guided by the rules for passing the intersections of equivalent roads. The same rules should be followed by drivers moving on secondary roads.

And now, don't forget to fasten your seat belt, turn on the low beam headlights and remove parking brake... Good luck to everyone on the exam in the traffic police!

    Hello! I wanted to know your opinion on the assessment of the incorrectness of my left turn at this intersection.

    I rolled up to the intersection with the left turn turned on in advance, simultaneously passing the oncoming traffic of 4 cars, turned left, letting everyone from the oncoming lane pass. I entered the turn into the intersection, did not leave the markings, did not run over. The examiner says, do you know about such a mistake for which they give 5 points for incorrect execution of a turn? you had a turning radius like on a heavy truck and you were on a passenger car, you had to stop! skip and only then wrap .... (There are no stop lines, there is no sign. Movement without stopping is prohibited, I missed everyone while I was rolling up, the point was for me to interfere with cars moving with me in passing direction stop if there was no oncoming. So far, I haven't scored 1 point.

      Ramil, hello.

      The requirements imposed by the Rules when making a left turn are to take in advance the appropriate extreme position on the carriageway in front of the manner, give way to oncoming vehicles (in this case), when leaving the intersection of carriageways, do not end up in the oncoming traffic lane. Also, give way to pedestrians and cyclists crossing the carriageway of the road you are turning into.

      If all the specified requirements of the Rules are met, there is no violation in your actions when making a left turn.

      The exam is recorded on a video recorder, if you do not agree with the results of the exam, you can try to personally contact the examination department of the traffic police with a request to view the video of the exam. If they refuse, then you have the right to file a complaint in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation N 995.

      Procedure for appealing a decision on a complaint

      171. Decisions made in the course of the performance of the public service, actions or inaction of officials of the State traffic inspectorate units at the federal, regional levels or examination units may be appealed to a higher official or in court.

      The right of the applicant to receive information and documents necessary to substantiate and consider the complaint

      172. The applicant has the right to receive information, including information obtained using audio and video recording of the process of conducting practical examinations, and documents necessary to substantiate and consider the complaint.

      173. The subdivision of the State traffic inspectorate at the federal, regional or district level is obliged to provide the applicant with copies of the documents necessary to substantiate and consider the complaint within 3 working days from the date of the application, unless otherwise provided by federal laws and other regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation adopted in accordance with them .

        Victoria, hello.

        U-turn on the roadway - you can perform a maneuver both at intersections and on a section of the roadway ( roads) between intersections.

        U-turn spot outside the intersection on the roadway - You can choose a U-turn spot on the stretch ( section of the road) between intersections.

        U-turn space outside the intersection - this command does not prohibit making a U-turn on a section of road between intersections or using the adjacent territory.

        But such moments, it is still better to check with your driving instructor, as he is more aware of what the examiner means by this or that command ( taking exams at the driving school you graduated from) to avoid misunderstandings in the driving test.

          Good afternoon. Tell me what to do in this situation (here is a map, Bratskaya St., I am interested in moving in the direction from the intersection along oncoming lane(right), where the black and light cars and the car with the camera are moving from. At the moment, if my memory serves me right, and as my exam comrades said, there is a solid marking line when the traffic police exam is taking place, often in addition to cars parked in parking lots, drivers of other cars also “prop up” these drivers, becoming parallel to the road and perpendicular to the back of parked cars. Therefore, it is impossible to avoid a detour of these cars with a drive into the oncoming lane and crossing a solid marking line. The inspector says "think for yourself in this situation what to do." I would like to know what to do in such a situation? Stop behind this car, turn on the alarm or you can’t do this? The driver left and it is not known when he will return. And if the driver is in the car, is it possible to honk, regarding it as an obstacle and preventing an accident, since I will make an exit into the oncoming lane because of it? Or stop with the hazard lights on and wait for him to leave?

          • Sergei Milyutin

            Anastasia, hello.

            For bypassing an obstacle in the oncoming lane through a continuous marking, liability is provided in the form of punishment under part 3 of article 12.15.

            3. Departure in violation of the Rules of the Road to the lane intended for oncoming traffic, when bypassing an obstacle, or onto tram tracks in the opposite direction when bypassing an obstacle.

            Punishment: shall entail the imposition of an administrative fine in the amount of one thousand to one thousand five hundred roubles.

            In such a situation, it remains to refer to the Deputy Head of the Department for Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kuzin, who gave official explanations of the enforcement of certain articles of the Code of Administrative Offenses in the Rossiyskaya Gazeta

            “Consider the frequently encountered situation, when the only row of the road blocked parked car. It is necessary to go around such an obstacle on the right. But if this is not possible, then you can go around it on the left, after giving way to oncoming vehicles. And the traffic inspector should not punish you for such a continuous intersection and exit into the oncoming one. However, if it was possible to go around the obstacle on the right side, and you decided that it would be faster or easier on the left, then you will have to answer under part 3 of Article 12.15 - driving into an oncoming lane connected to a bypass of the obstacle. For such a violation, a fine is imposed - from 1000 to 1500 rubles.

            • Anastasia

              Thanks for the answer! Your answers are very helpful in deciding what to do in different situations.
              But it seems to me that with our inspectors such an explanation of my actions will not be counted as correct and there will still be a mark of “failed”. They will operate with this particular article (12.15), and V. Kuzin's explanations, given as evidence of the legitimacy of my actions, will be considered inappropriate, not confirmed by law, or something. I think you understand my idea. Therefore, in order to avoid such a situation, can I stop behind a car with the alarm turned on, or take any other action in this case? Or do I still have to follow Kuzin's words, and in the case of an assessment of "failed" to cite them as evidence and consider them solid, correct?

              • Sergei Milyutin

                Anastasia, unfortunately, the reason for the emergence of such questions from graduates of driving schools, very often due to the lack of dialogue between the driving school and the traffic police. All ambiguous traffic situations arising on the route should discuss and develop a single position, as in the case indicated by you. The task of the examiner is to first of all take the exam in accordance with the Rules of the Road, and not to catch, and it would be right to avoid such places or not evaluate the actions of the candidate driver.

                If the examiner says: "Think for yourself in this situation, what to do." The only correct solution would be to stop moving. After informing the inspector about the reason for the impossibility of continuing the movement:

                9.11. On any roads with two-way traffic, it is prohibited to drive on a lane intended for oncoming traffic if it is separated by tram tracks, a dividing strip, markings 1.1, 1.3 or markings 1.11, the dashed line of which is located on the left.

                Lines 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 must not be crossed.

                Turn on the emergency alarm and set the emergency stop sign in accordance with 7.1 and 7.2 of the Rules.

                7.1. The alarm must be turned on:
                when forced to stop in places where stopping is prohibited;

                7.2. When the vehicle is stopped and turned on alarm, as well as in case of its malfunction or absence, the emergency stop sign must be immediately set:
                when forced to stop in places where it is prohibited, and where, taking into account visibility conditions, the vehicle cannot be seen in a timely manner by other drivers.

                And with a further proposal to call the traffic police crew to eliminate the reason that does not allow you to continue driving in accordance with the traffic rules.

                To prevent this from happening at the exam, I repeat, all ambiguous points must be resolved and not cause disagreements between the driving school and the examination department of the traffic police.

                Good luck to you and believe in yourself on the exam!
                Everything will definitely work!

                • Anastasia

                  Good afternoon. Tell me, please, a friend took an exam in the city recently, She was taken for a railway crossing in our city to make a U-turn. She had never been there and did not know where to do it. As soon as you cross the crossing, then on the left there is a crossroads and next to it, after 5 meters there is a stop

                  (we are driving in the direction of the white seven, we will make a turn to the left). Since the exam = excitement, She was embarrassed by this stop and she drove on, thinking that it was impossible to make a U-turn at the stops and NEAR them. Then there was also an intersection, but she did not know if it was possible to turn around at it

                  Therefore, I had a question, is it possible to turn around at the first intersection (the first link in the photo, where the stop is), because you can’t turn around at stops, but not near them, if you follow the rules. And is it possible to turn around at the second intersection (second link)? If it is possible on both or on some one (which one), then in which lanes do you need to go when turning? According to the rules, to the extreme right, and not immediately to the left? (When viewed from the side of the oncoming stream). Thanks for the answer!

                  • Sergei Milyutin

                    Anastasia, hello.

                    You wrote correctly, a U-turn is prohibited at the stops of route vehicles (clause 8.11).

                    Sign 5.16 "Bus and (or) trolley bus stop" indicates exactly the stop of route vehicles, and the boundaries of which are marked with yellow markings 1.17.

                    The issue related to the boundaries of the bus stop arises from paragraph 12.4 of the Rules, which refers to the prohibition of stopping (parking) closer than 15 meters from sign 5.16 (in the absence of marking 1.17). And many people think that the stop limits are 15 meters from the sign in both directions, but here it should be noted that we are talking about the stop rules.

                    12.4. Stopping is prohibited:
                    closer than 15 meters from the stops of route vehicles or parking of passenger taxis, marked with marking 1.17, and in its absence - from the pointer of the stop of route vehicles.

                    And when making a U-turn, it is forbidden to turn around exactly at the stops of route vehicles, the boundaries of which are determined by marking 1.17.

                    1.17 (color - yellow) - indicates the places of stops of route vehicles and taxi ranks;

                    But since there is no consensus on this issue, it is not worth turning around on the exam in such places.

                    U-turns are allowed at the intersection shown in the second picture, unless they are preceded by mandatory signs prohibiting left turns.

                    Clause 8.5 of the Rules, obliges to take the appropriate extreme position on the carriageway before turning, in which lane they must go after the maneuver is completed, the Rules are not regulated.

                    8.5. Before turning right, left or U-turn, the driver is obliged to take the appropriate extreme position in advance on the carriageway intended for movement in this direction, except when making a turn at the entrance to an intersection where a roundabout is organized.

                    Considering that a turn at the intersection is allowed only from the extreme left position, it will not be possible to complete the maneuver, except in the right lane in this case.

                    Andrey

                    Hello, Good afternoon, tell me, I handed over to the right when turning to the right, took the right position, turned into the right extreme lane of one-way 2-lane traffic and immediately received a command to turn left, I turned on the turn signal and began to rebuild, but the car driving behind turned into the left lane without a turn signal and created this for me hindrance 5 points no change I want to challenge this decision

                    • Sergei Milyutin

                      Andrey, hello.

                      The following is important here, when performing a rebuild, the car moving behind you managed to complete the rebuild or not. If, when you performed the maneuver, the second car was already moving along the left lane, then it will be difficult to prove the opposite.

                      Also, it should be noted that if ambiguous situations were not recorded from the DVR, then it is almost impossible to challenge the decision made by the examiner.

                      Anna

                      Good evening! Did not pass the exam in the traffic police due to a left turn at a t-junction with secondary road. Created an emergency. The fact is that there is limited visibility on the left at this crossroads, and it is not possible to drive up to the edge of the carriageway due to the pedestrian crossing, which is marked at the very edge of the carriageway. In addition, it all happens on an uphill and very heavy traffic on the main road in both directions. I know that those whom they want to fill up are taken to this turn. Drivers with a license pass this intersection, stopping at a pedestrian crossing. But you can't do that in an exam. The question is how legal is it to carry those who pass to such intersections and can I appeal against such a decision of the inspector?

                      • Sergei Milyutin

                        Anna, hello.

                        The examination route should provide for the passage of an unregulated intersection of unequal roads by a candidate driver, which traffic intensity should not be specified by the regulations, respectively, the choice of an intersection is at the discretion of the examiner. And here you can not argue. Of course, I agree that during the examination, sometimes the examiners choose enough difficult sections and tasks for candidates for drivers, due to the fact that in 56 hours practical exercises, it is possible to give the learner only the basic skills needed on the road.

                        More questions to the position of the examiner, about the fact that in this case it is impossible to stop at a pedestrian crossing.

                        From the Rules, we know that stopping is prohibited at pedestrian crossings, and also closer than 5 meters In front of them. That is, it turns out that you can not stop even closer than 5 meters before the transition. But only until we read the definition of a stop:

                        "Stop" - deliberate stopping the movement of the vehicle for up to 5 minutes, as well as for more, if it is necessary for boarding or disembarking passengers or loading or unloading the vehicle.

                        Stopping, according to the Rules, is deliberate stop moving ( for example, you decide to stop at the crossing to disembark a passenger), and in the situation specified by you, the driver stops before crossing the carriageways to fulfill requirements Rules ( priority signs) and not at will.

                        Paragraph 14.4 of the Rules expressly states when it is forbidden to enter a pedestrian crossing:

                        14.4. It is forbidden to enter a pedestrian crossing if a traffic jam has formed behind it, which will force the driver to stop at the pedestrian crossing.

                        When the pedestrian crossing is in front of the intersection of the carriageways, the sequence of actions: we drive up to the pedestrian crossing, if there are pedestrians, we give way to them ( in the absence of pedestrians, the obligation to give way does not arise), then we fulfill the requirement of priority signs.

                        In such cases, I would like to ask a question to those who believe that stopping at the crossing is prohibited in any case. Where, according to the Rules, is it necessary to stop in situations like in the photo below?

                        The correct answer is indicated in the Rules of the road.

                        2.5 "Movement without stopping is prohibited." It is forbidden to move without stopping before the stop line, and if it is not there - in front of the edge of the intersected carriageway. The driver must give way to vehicles moving on the intersected, and if there is a plate 8.13 - on the main road.

                        Unfortunately, it will not work to challenge the results of the exam due to the fact that the intersection is difficult.

                        Danila

                        Hello! What should I do when I receive a command “choose a place to stop” if stopping is prohibited and there is a parking lot located perpendicular to the roadway and all the places on it are occupied?

                        • Sergei Milyutin

                          Danila, hello.

                          Sign 3.27 “Stopping is prohibited” applies to the nearest intersection and to the side of the road on which it is installed. If stopping is prohibited in this section, move to the nearest intersection, see if there are signs prohibiting stopping after it, if there is, then you can turn right at the intersection ( left) and already decide to stop after the turn ( in the absence of signs).

                          Stopping is also allowed on the left side of the road, in settlements on roads with one lane for each direction without tram tracks in the middle and on one-way roads.

                          Oksana

                          Good afternoon. Passed the exam yesterday. Set for error 5b. The exam started from the adjacent territory. There was a left turn. I had to let all the approaching cars pass. I chose the moment and left, seeing that the cars were far enough away to leave and continue driving. But the inspector said that I interfered with them and put 5b for the mistake. The rest of the tasks were completed correctly. What should I do if cars go there all the time, since there are no traffic lights, the main road is practically out of town. Cars drive without following the rules and in any way more than 60 km / h. The exam began from the circuit I have the only one. Everything else was easier. They started from the usual place next to the traffic lights and could choose the moment while the rest of the red is on.

                          • Sergei Milyutin

                            Oksana, hello.

                            If you, leaving the adjacent territory, forced other road users who have an advantage in relation to you, change speed ( lower it) or change the direction of movement ( move out of the occupied lane or lane), then by their maneuver they created an obstacle to movement ( did not give way).

                            IN similar situations, be patient and only maneuver when you are sure that it will be safe for other road users.

                            • Sergei Milyutin

                              Anna, hello.

                              If the roundabout is as in the figure below, where two roads intersect, then at such intersections, when the command to move in the forward direction is given, it is necessary to move as blue car in the figure below.

                              For movement in other directions, at such intersections, an approximate command is usually given - “at a roundabout (at the ring) to the right, left or in the opposite direction.”

                              At a roundabout, the examiner may issue a command and indicate the exit number for further movement. Here is an advice, if the command given is not very clear to you, then before performing the maneuver it is better to clarify with the examiner what he means.

                              Ivan

                              Hello, please tell me, the inspector gave the command to choose a place to stop and stop. Can I drive to the intersection then execute the command to turn at the intersection and then stop after the turn or is it an error that I didn't follow the examiner's requirements?

                              • Sergei Milyutin

                                Ivan, hello.

                                The order of actions on the road described by you is often used in the exam. It happens that on the road or section of road), on which you were given the command to “self-select ( find) a place to stop”, stopping is prohibited by signs ( markup) and therefore it is impossible to execute the examiner's command without violating the Rules. To complete the task, you can turn right or left at the nearest intersection, make sure there are no prohibition signs ( and etc.) and stop.

                                Unfortunately, much depends on the position of the examiner. For example, if the section of the road is long enough, there are no signs prohibiting stopping, and you do not make a decision to stop for a long time, it may be considered as a failure to comply with the command.

                                Such moments should have been brought by the driving instructor with whom you were trained, since he is present at the exams and must take into account all possible circumstances.

                                Andrey

                                Sergey, hello. Hope you answer my questions. Thank you)
                                1) I passed the exam (city), at the end the inspector gave the task to choose a place to stop, as it seemed to me, before his instructions, I passed a sign prohibiting stopping, and because of doubt decided to drive through the intersection and turn to the parking lot. The inspector asked if I heard the task, I answered loudly "Yes." I drove up to the intersection, he told me “I didn’t pass the assessment, ignoring the inspector”, I said that there was a sign there, he began to explain something to me, but I didn’t remember anything because of confusion)

                                2) The sign really stood there (after the exam, I looked), after it there was a turn into the yard and a bus stop, and after 200-300 meters, in front of the same intersection, there was a stop prohibited sign with arrows in both directions (up, down). If there was such a sign, then that first one was canceled somewhere?

                                3) I passed the exam on July 5, the next one on July 25. BUT I will take it 4 times already, i.e. you have to wait 30 days, but we have such a driving school that they don’t look at it and sign up for the exam and give out all the necessary documents (where, if anything, you can safely remove the exam sheet, which indicates that you didn’t pass). But how do I know the traffic police keep records? And if I pass, can they cancel it for me?

                                • Sergei Milyutin

                                  Andrey, hello.

                                  If you have any doubts about the results of the exam, you can contact your examination department of the traffic police to view the video from the exam.

                                  The most important thing in the exam is to carefully listen to the commands given by the examiner, a lot depends on how the task sounds. That is, if you were told: “find the nearest place to stop” or “choose a place to stop on your own”, then the meaning of these commands has a slightly different meaning. If you were simply told: “choose a place to stop”, then this certainly does not prohibit the driver candidate from calmly making a decision to stop.

                                  Turns into courtyards and adjacent territories do not cancel the effect of prohibition signs, and even if it was an intersection, but not marked with the appropriate signs, to be sure, it is better to get to the intersection of the carriageways marked with priority signs and there is no doubt that there is an intersection in front of you.

                                  The plate 8.2.4 "Area of action" about which you write, just informs drivers about their presence in the area of the signs 3.27 - 3.30 prohibiting stopping and (or) parking, so that those leaving the adjacent territories know that they are in the zone of action of prohibition signs.
                                  But since the prohibition signs are valid until the intersection ( in this situation), then in order to maintain the restrictions after the intersection, prohibition signs must be re-installed.

                                  With regard to accounting, the examination department of the traffic police should monitor the results of passing the exam by candidate drivers. Also, a driving school must apply for an exam, where all candidates for drivers are indicated. Of course, you'd better wait for the "correct" exam date. And if possible, take additional driving, otherwise, in the absence of skill, all the knowledge gained, unfortunately without practice, is quickly lost.

                                  All the best to you and of course, successful passing the exam.

                                  Natalia

                                  Good afternoon! When driving in a circle, the inspector said to take the fifth exit from the circle. It turned out to be a large exit to the shops and parking. This is not considered an exit, how to determine the correct exit? Exam failed...

                                  • Sergei Milyutin

                                    Hello, Natalia.

                                    The very controversial statement of the inspector that the roadway intended for movement to the store or parking lot is not a congress. If possible, please provide a link on Yandex or Google maps to this roundabout.

                                    Abdu

                                    Good evening. I had such a situation, I have an exam on the bus to the city. I did the whole exercise of the city for 25 minutes, I drove a bus in the city, and at the end the inspector said that choose a place and stop, I have a stop for shuttle vehicles in front of me at a distance of 20m after it there is a sign “stopping is prohibited” my decision was to stop at a stop and I immediately thought that I was interfering with other route vehicles and stopped at the end of the stop, and for this I closed the visibility of the “no stopping” sign for other vehicles, and for this violation I did not pass the exam. Please tell me where I had to stop at this time when the inspector said "choose a place and stop."

                                    • Sergei Milyutin

                                      Hello.

                                      If your vehicle, after making a stop, covered the road signs, you should have been given three points for this violation ( 2.1 Violated parking rules), most likely you had more errors.

                                      If in a driving test ( city), the examiner gave the command to find a place to stop on his own, therefore, it is necessary to choose a place to stop that does not contradict the Rules.

                                      If, while moving along the road, there was a stopping place for shuttle vehicles in front of you and then a sign prohibiting stopping, you should have traveled further until the expiration of the prohibition sign ( e.g. until the next intersection) or turn right at the nearest intersection ( left) and, in the absence of prohibition signs, will stop on the adjoining road.

                                      Anna

                                      Good evening. At the exam, the traffic police was asked to make a right turn, while driving in the far right lane, a bus was moving in front of me, and it closed the sign for the appearance of an additional lane, respectively, did not turn on the turn signal about rebuilding, is it possible to challenge the results of the exam?

                                      • Sergei Milyutin

                                        Anna, hello.

                                        If you, before turning right, nevertheless took an extreme position on the roadway, you should have been given only three points for not turning on the direction indicators when changing lanes.

                                        If there was an expansion of the roadway ( up to several lanes), then in the absence of signs and (or) markings ( lane traffic), according to paragraph 9.1 , the number of lanes for trackless vehicles is determined by the drivers themselves, taking into account the width of the carriageway, the dimensions of the vehicles and the necessary intervals between them.

                                        In such a situation, most likely it will be difficult for you to challenge the examiner's decision.

                                        Hello Sergey! today I passed the exam ... the inspector gave the task to turn left ... I inadvertently made a U-turn .... (in the permitted place) the result is that the exam was not passed! please comment

                                          Irina, hello.

                                          Unfortunately, in such situations, the examiner puts the mark “failed”.

                                          In September 2016, the rules for taking a practical exam in traffic conditions (city) were amended. Also, a new item has been added to the examination sheet - 1.17. Did not fulfill (ignored) the task of the examiner), an error for which five points are set.

                                          Next time, be a little more careful and everything will work out for sure. Good luck to you!

                                          Lisa

                                          Hello, I handed over the city and drove without a single mistake. They said “we are looking for a place to stop, and I parked right after the turn (it was 5 meters) in the line of sight - good visibility. But she pulled over. They told me I didn't pass the exam. How many points could be deducted for this? 3 or 5?

                                          • Sergei Milyutin

                                            Lisa, hello.
                                            The inspector should have explained to you the reason for the “failed” rating. Perhaps there were signs prohibiting stopping along the section of the road, it's hard to say.

                                            For a stop on the side of the road if available) You should not have been given five points, in accordance with the Rules, namely clause 12.1, stopping and parking are allowed on right side roads on the side of the road and only if there is no side of the road it is allowed to stop at the edge of the carriageway.

                                            It is important that not every piece of land adjacent to the carriageway meets the definition of "roadside" from the Rules.

                                              Hello Hope.

                                              If you were moving for example) along the left lane and when changing lanes to the right lane to stop at the edge of the carriageway, crossed a continuous marking 1.1 , then this violation is a gross error in the exam in the traffic police, for which the mark "Did not pass" is set ( Annexes No. 1 and No. 2 to the SDA).

                                              1.5. Did not comply with the requirements of priority signs, prohibition and injunction signs, road markings 1.1, 1.3, as well as signs of special requirements.

                                              When stopping at the right edge of the carriageway and the distance between the solid marking line and the stopped vehicle is less than three meters, such an error refers to the average and three points are assigned for it ( Points of traffic rules 12.1-12.5, 12.7, 12.8 ).

                                              2.1. Violated the rules of stopping, parking.

But a little further Men at work and there was a temporary sign of 20 km / h. The speed was reduced to 27 km / h, the exam was not passed. Is this a 5 point mistake.

                                                1.12. Exceeded the set speed) in a driving test in traffic conditions is a gross error for which a “failed” mark is given.

                                                10.1. The driver must drive the vehicle at a speed not exceeding the established limit, taking into account the intensity of traffic, the characteristics and condition of the vehicle and cargo, road and meteorological conditions, in particular visibility in the direction of travel. The speed must provide the driver with the possibility of constant control over the movement of the vehicle in order to comply with the requirements of the Rules.

                                                Sign 3.24 "Maximum speed limit". It is forbidden to drive at a speed (km/h) exceeding that indicated on the sign.

                                                Good day, Sergey!
                                                During the exam in the city, the examiner's command was received " Continue driving at the maximum speed allowed in this section" (verbatim). Maximum allowable speed on this section was 60 km / h, as informed by the road sign earlier. The lane was free in the passing direction. I kept the speed in the range of 57-59 km / h (the speedometer needle was between two divisions 55 and 60, closer to 60), this should be perfectly visible on the video recording inside the cabin.
                                                After that, the exam was stopped due to the error "Failure to meet the requirements of the examiner."

                                                I chose this speed to avoid accidental overshoot due to accidental road roughness/elevation differences. if you exceed at least 1 km, the exam would stop.
                                                To my explanation why I did not drive exactly 60 km / h, the examiner said that he demanded exactly 60, and not a little less.

                                                Is it worth arguing this situation? If so, what exactly should be challenged: the requirement itself (it seems a little strange to me personally) or that I did not fulfill it (with wording like: this speed was chosen by me taking into account the situation, in particular the condition of the road surface, so as not to violate the requirement sign)

                                                • Sergei Milyutin

                                                  Hello Ruslan.
                                                  I completely agree with you that if the speed was 57-59 km / h, this is very close to the maximum permitted speed. endure constant speed quite difficult, especially in the absence of skill.

                                                  But at the same time, the examiner is empowered to evaluate and control the progress of maneuvers and actions, the observance by the candidate for drivers of the Rules of the Road of the Russian Federation. The Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 24, 2014 No. 1097 “On admission to driving vehicles” contains only:

                                                  Requirements for routes on which examinations are held in driving in traffic conditions.

                                                  i) driving at the maximum permitted speed;

                                                  How to evaluate this action (with what error) is not said, respectively, at the discretion of the examiner, as an authorized official departments of the State Traffic Inspectorate. If, he believes that they should have moved at the maximum allowed speed, and from the requirements above, if the text is taken literally, then there are no contradictions in the team and the examiner's assessment.

                                                  Regarding the condition of the road surface, it should really be such that it does not allow driving at the maximum permitted speed.

                                                  It is difficult what to advise, it may not be possible to challenge the results of the exam, and you will most likely have to take the exam again. Even if the exam results are invalidated, you may still have to retake. This will also depend on the time of the exam and the execution of the commands and actions provided for by the exam.

                                                  To reduce the likelihood of such situations, we try to always take into account the requirements of our examiners when preparing for the exam. We usually discuss all emerging controversial and ambiguous points with them in order to develop a common position.

                                                  Don't be too upset, you need to draw conclusions and everything will definitely work out!

                                                  Dmitriy

                                                  Good day!
                                                  Today I handed over the city, did not hand over for the following reason. A command was received from the inspector to "make a U-turn outside the intersection." I chose to turn at the entrance to the yard and to the right front wheel hit the curb. The inspector immediately said “we choose a place to stop, the exam was not passed.” There is no such error in the list of errors. The turn was made on a two-lane road, and at the entrance to the yard there was only one “rounding” of the turn - the one closest to me in the direction of travel. That is, I actually ran into a right angle formed by the curbs due to the lack of rounding when turning into the yard. Are the actions of the inspector correct?

                                                  • Sergei Milyutin

                                                    Hello Dmitry.

                                                    When you signed the test sheet, it should indicate the error due to which the city driving test was not passed. In a traffic situation like yours, examiners usually count as ( if there was no interference in driving by the examiner):

                                                    1.13 Failure to take possible measures to reduce speed up to a complete stop of the vehicle in the event of a danger to traffic.

                                                    It is difficult to argue with such a position of the inspector, due to the fact that the curb stone is an obstacle and in some cases this circumstance can be dangerous for traffic and cause an accident.

                                                    Gulya

                                                    Hello. Tell me please. Today I passed a driving test. The car was running, I accidentally turned the ignition key, the instructor intervened and said that I didn’t pass. Did the instructor act correctly?

                                                    • Sergei Milyutin

                                                      Hello Gulya.

                                                      The question is, how did the inspector intervene in driving? If the car did not start an uncontrolled movement, then the highest that should have been given to you is one point for uncertain use of the controls ( 3.10 - refers to minor errors).

                                                      Errors for which marks are not passed ( five points) are classified as rude and if you refer to the examination sheet for conducting an exam in traffic conditions, it does not contain a mistake made to you in the list of rude.

                                                      Daria

                                                      Hello! The command was given to turn around reverse side. I turned around at the next circle, but left it in the left, not the right lane. How many penalty points should the instructor give me?

                                                      • Sergei Milyutin

                                                        Hello Daria.

                                                        If you were making a U-turn at an intersection with a roundabout, then when leaving the ring, it was necessary to take the extreme right position on the carriageway before the maneuver. In this case, the examiner evaluates such an error as a violation of the rules of rotation ( 1.8. Violated the rules for making a turn). This violation in the exam is assessed as a gross error ( 5 points).

                                                        Gulya

                                                        Hello! At the exam, I stopped in front of the stop sign near the railway crossing, and only looked in both directions with my eyes, the inspector didn’t take the exam because of this, said that I had to turn my head to both sides ... Is it possible not to pass the exam because of this ??

                                                        • Sergei Milyutin

                                                          Hello Gulya.

                                                          If you have come to a complete stop in front of the sign ( in the absence of a stop line) And really convinced of the safety of passage through a railway crossing, it is difficult to see a violation in your actions.

                                                          2.5 "Movement without stopping is prohibited" can be installed before a railway crossing or a quarantine post. In these cases, the driver must stop in front of the stop line, and in its absence, in front of the sign.

                                                          How much you need to turn your head to the side to make sure you are safe is not spelled out in the Rules and Regulations. The examiner, in accordance with paragraph 128 of the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation of October 20, 2015 N 995, during the exam, monitors compliance with the Rules of the Road, evaluates the skills and abilities of the candidate driver in accordance with the control table.

                                                          128. The examiner controls the progress of the maneuvers and actions provided for by the route, compliance with the Rules of the Road of the Russian Federation, gives commands to the candidate driver, evaluates his driving skills, ability to control traffic situation and make decisions in case of its change, fixes errors in accordance with the control table (Appendix No. 8 to the Administrative Regulations).

                                                          In the table, the reason why you did not pass the exam is not directly indicated.

                                                          But it is possible that the inspector considered that you did not make sure that you were safe before starting the movement. Sign 2.5 requires not only to stop completely, but also to make sure of safety. And here, I believe that he could put as not the implementation of paragraph 1.5 of the control table.

                                                          1.5. Did not comply with the requirements of priority signs, prohibition and injunction signs, road markings 1.1, 1.3, as well as signs of special requirements.

                                                          In fact, it is very difficult, sometimes it is simply impossible without turning your head ( viewing angle is limited), make sure that no one is approaching us from the left or right, and the approach speed can be very high. And of course, all this is very dangerous on the road. I think you will agree with this.

                                                          It remains to draw the right conclusions, after the first attempt and a week later with renewed vigor for the exam, and everything will definitely work out! Good luck and good luck with your exam!

                                                          Catherine

                                                          Good afternoon Please let me know if it is possible to dispute the situation. Performed a U-turn outside the intersection. Chose a place. But the traffic was very dense, and while I was passing oncoming cars, cars also appeared at the exit of the adjacent territory. When it became empty in the oncoming lane, I started maneuvering simultaneously with a car from the adjacent territory, but while I let them through (and it was impossible in any other way), the back of my car remained in one of the traffic lanes and other cars began to approach me. I didn't see if they had to change lanes to pass me. After completing the turn, the examiner said that I interfered with the traffic and gave 5 points. All this happened in 7 seconds. Can the completion of the maneuver be considered interference? Am I to blame for the fact that those leaving the adjacent territory did not give way to me, because of which I was not able to complete the maneuver immediately.

                                                          • Sergei Milyutin

                                                            Catherine, hello.
                                                            In this case, it is most likely impossible to challenge the decision of the inspector. If everything was as you described, then the examiner's decision is correct. As we know from the Rules that when turning outside the intersection, if we perform a maneuver from extreme position, are obliged to give way to oncoming vehicles, when performing a maneuver from the right edge of the carriageway, to oncoming and passing vehicles.

                                                            8.8. When turning left or turning outside the intersection to oncoming vehicles and trams of the same direction.

                                                            If, when turning outside the intersection, the width of the carriageway is insufficient to perform the maneuver from the extreme left position, it is allowed to perform it from the right edge of the carriageway (with right shoulder). In this case, the driver must give way to passing and oncoming vehicles.

                                                            That is, we must not interfere ( force a change in speed or direction) vehicles having priority. And if at the end of your maneuver, cars ( having an advantage) were forced to slow down or change lanes, the inspector assessed as creating interference ( did not give way).

                                                            "Give way (do not interfere)" - a requirement meaning that a road user must not start, resume or continue driving, perform any maneuver, if this may force other road users who have an advantage over him,.

                                                            It is clear that in this situation, the car leaving the adjacent territory was obliged to give way to you, but the examiner takes the exam from you and controls your actions and maneuvers. When performing a maneuver, there should not be a danger to traffic, as well as obstacles to other road users.

                                                            Here, just one piece of advice, if there is the slightest doubt about the successful execution ( completion) maneuver, then such a maneuver must be abandoned.
                                                            Good luck on your exam! Everything will surely work out.

                                                            • Tatiana

                                                              Good afternoon, during the exam, the command “move at the maximum allowed speed” was given, I moved at a speed of 55 and got a failure - “failure to execute the command.” Is it worth challenging such a decision, or should I have moved at a speed of exactly 60?

                                                              • Sergei Milyutin

                                                                Tatyana, good afternoon!
                                                                The regulations state that the examination route must include sections for movement at the maximum permitted speed. During the exam, the examiner controls and evaluates the skills of the driver candidate, and if his opinion that the movement at a speed of 55 km / h did not correspond to the command given by him, in this situation, it will probably not be possible to challenge the results of the exam. In order to avoid disputes, it is better to choose a speed close to an integer, that is, move 57-59 km / h. If the driver candidate believes that driving at the maximum permitted speed is unsafe on a given section of the road, then in this case, it is better to voice it.
                                                                Good luck with your exam!

                                                                Anastasia

                                                                Hello! Please tell me. Passed the exam, the command was given to turn on controlled intersection left. There were 2 cars in front of me at the intersection. I stopped at a traffic light and waited for the intersection to clear. Having driven to it, I saw a gazelle in the oncoming lane, which was traveling at a sufficiently large distance so that I could perform a maneuver and not interfere with it. After completing the maneuver, I heard a request to stop and that the exam was not passed. I allegedly did not miss the oncoming car. To my question that I did not interfere with her movement, it was said: “You must let absolutely everyone through. You are a learning machine."

                                                                • Sergei Milyutin

                                                                  Anastasia, hello. On training car, all provisions of the Rules of the Road apply, as well as to any other vehicle that participates in road traffic.
                                                                  If, during the maneuver, you fulfilled the requirement of paragraph 13.4 Rules:

                                                                  13.4. When turning left or making a U-turn at a green traffic light, the driver of a trackless vehicle is obliged to give way to vehicles moving straight or to the right from the opposite direction. Tram drivers should be guided by the same rule among themselves.

                                                                  And also, performing a maneuver ( left turn), in accordance with the definition of , did not interfere with oncoming vehicles:

                                                                  "Give way (do not interfere)"- a requirement that a road user must not start, resume or continue driving, perform any maneuver, if this may force other road users who have an advantage over him to change direction or speed.

                                                                  There are no violations on your part, but perhaps the examiner thought differently if, in his opinion, the maneuver was not entirely safe. Very often, novice drivers do not quite correctly evaluate traffic situation (distance to oncoming vehicles, etc.), so you have to be even more careful to reduce the chances of situations that are difficult to fix. If you do not agree with the results of the exam, you can contact the examination department of the traffic police with a request to view the video of the exam.

                                                                  Good evening Sergey! I have a question! They told me to turn around at the intersection, but I drove on and turned around at another one ... The inspector tells me that I didn’t pass ... Because I didn’t fulfill his requirements and he also said that this is the most malicious violation ... Tell me please)

                                                                  • Sergei Milyutin

                                                                    Eugene, hello.
                                                                    If the examiner identified a specific intersection for maneuver, then you should have completed his task. If earlier it was possible to find reasons why the maneuver was not performed, now, as I noted earlier in the comments, the inspector can apply the clause: 1.17 "Did not fulfill ( ignored) examiner's task", which is a gross error in the exam in traffic conditions ( city). For an independent choice of a place for a U-turn by a candidate driver, the command is given about self-selection turning places.
                                                                    Do not be discouraged, draw the right conclusions and everything will definitely work out next time. Good luck on your exam!

                                                                    Irina

                                                                    Hello, the inspector received a command to choose a place to stop and stop, I said that stopping is prohibited on this road section, the answer I did not hear any comment, then there was a command at the intersection, turn left and move in a straight direction, which I did, then there was a comment about the non-compliance with the inspector's request, should he have repeated that the request to stop remains in force?

                                                                    • Sergei Milyutin

                                                                      After the examiner gave the command to choose a place to stop, you had to find a place to stop on your own and stop. When driving along the route, which is set by the inspector, the candidate driver performs maneuvers and actions that are determined by the examiner during the exam.

                                                                      Since you are moving along a set route, commands to change direction are possible, but they do not cancel the previous commands ( in your case stop). Most likely, on the next section of the route, the stop was allowed, but since you continued to move, the inspector considered it as a failure to comply with the command.

                                                                      1.17. Did not fulfill (ignored) the task of the examiner)

                                                                      On a practical exam in traffic conditions ( city), it is necessary to perform maneuvers and actions, and the inspector, of course, knows where which maneuvers are prohibited, and therefore gives commands.

                                                                      Irina, most importantly, do not be discouraged. Next time, you will definitely succeed. Good luck and good luck with your driving test!

                                                                      Irina, good evening! The same situation happened to me today at the exam in the city. It was very disappointing because I was driving without any errors. And then the examiner asks to stop, I say a prohibition sign, he drove on, turn around at the circle (next intersection). I turned around, I was going confidently, observing all the rules, and so on. The inspector is silent. After driving a kilometer or two, he says: “that’s it, get up, you didn’t pass. Mission not completed"
                                                                      I didn’t even immediately understand what it was, I was very upset ... The retake was only two months later.

                                                                      REQUIREMENTS
                                                                      to routes where driving exams are held
                                                                      vehicle in traffic

                                                                      2. The route must provide the opportunity for the driver candidate to perform the following maneuvers and actions:

                                                                      e) U-turn outside the intersection;

                                                                      From the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs No. 995, it follows that when driving along the route, the candidate driver, at the command of the examiner, must perform the prescribed maneuvers and actions. For non-compliance with the command, the examiner has the right to give the grade “failed”.

                                                                      After the new regulation, there was a paragraph 1.17 "Did not fulfill ( ignored) examiner's task", it was very often used during a practical exam in road conditions.

                                                                      If the command to turn around was given by the inspector clearly and understandably, and you write that there were adjacent territories along the route and if it was possible to make a turn using the adjacent territory (if I understood correctly, there was no command to turn around at the intersection), then unfortunately, in this case, the examiner had the right to give the grade “failed”. If a choice is given, when searching for a place to turn around, the command “We independently look for (choose) a place to turn around” is usually given.

                                                                      Good luck, everything will definitely work out!

                                                                      • Good day, Sergey! Tell me, how it was necessary to get out of the current situation at the exam in order to continue taking the exam? The driver candidate stopped the car on the side of the road, finished the exam. When I got into the car, I noticed that right part the car is much lower (the car tilted slightly), which was what I voiced as a question when landing. Which was followed by a proposal to start moving when ready, which I did. When starting off, all actions were done consistently and correctly, but the car "stalled" me. Having started the engine, I tried again, at that moment the wheels moved down even more and the instructor intervened. The inspector explained that I got 5 points because of an incorrect assessment of the situation. It was necessary, according to him, to drive off in reverse, as the wheels fell into a hole. Behind were other training vehicles, and they helped to pull the car onto the road with the help of a cable. The instructor said that I was just unlucky and that nothing I could do would have saved the situation. The grass and ground were wet from a heavy downpour. I want to know your opinion, Sergey

                                                                        • Sergei Milyutin

                                                                          Elena, hello. It is difficult to give a correct assessment here, but if the car was parked in this way by a previous driver candidate and he passed the exam successfully, then there are more questions for the examiner. Since according to the traffic rules:

                                                                          roadside- element of the road, adjoining directly to the carriageway at the same level with it, which differs in the type of coverage or is highlighted using markings 1.2.1 or 1.2.2, used for movement, stopping and parking in accordance with the Rules.

                                                                          And stopping and parking of vehicles, according to paragraph 12.1:

                                                                          Stopping and parking of vehicles are allowed on the right side of the road on the side of the road, and in its absence - on the carriageway at its edge and, in cases established by paragraph 12.2 of the Rules, on the sidewalk.

                                                                          What you describe can hardly be called a roadside ( once the car had to be pulled out by other vehicles), therefore, the candidate vehicle must have been parked correctly in accordance with the traffic rules.

                                                                          Although the regulations, when taking a practical exam on the road, do not say about the requirements in what position the vehicle should be:

                                                                          124. Before starting the exam, the examiner must ensure that the following conditions are met: the vehicle engine is warmed up and turned off, the gear lever is in the neutral position (for automatic transmission the transmission mode control is moved to the “P” position), the parking brake is applied, the means of audio and video recording of the process of conducting a practical exam are turned on.

                                                                          But, I believe that it is already implied that the car must be in a position that allows you to safely start moving. The examiner and your instructor, before continuing with the exam, should have taken steps to ensure that the movement continued normally. You must correct your own mistakes, not those made by other candidates.

                                                                          It may have been necessary to pay attention to what you consider unsafe to start driving in such road conditions.
                                                                          Do not worry too much, on this occasion, unfortunately, sometimes in the exams there are not quite unambiguous situations. You will definitely succeed, not this time, then the next! And this case will be a small example of how insidious wet grass can be. All the best!

                                                                          Andrey

                                                                          Good afternoon, today I took an exam in the city, I have one mistake, this is that I ignored the inspector’s command, well, I didn’t blunt much, well, it doesn’t happen to anyone, he gave the command to turn right at the intersection, and I drove straight and in the end 5 points, I think that this is not a gross mistake, I could then turn at the next intersection, should I dispute the situation or am I guilty specifically ?? Tell me please

                                                                          I tried to turn around using the adjacent territory on the right, because. to the left of the intersection there was only one adjacent territory and next to it there was a pedestrian crossing, when I turned around, I would have run into it.
                                                                          I did not pass the exam, because driving into the adjacent territory on the right in reverse, ran into rear wheel on the curb. The carriageway was four lanes, 2 lanes in one direction, 2 in the other.

                                                                          • Sergei Milyutin

                                                                            Hello Hope. If the inspector taking the exam did not give you a command to turn around in a specific place (otherwise, it is possible to apply paragraph - 1.17. Did not fulfill (ignored) the task of the examiner), then it was possible to make a U-turn at the intersection. If there were markings or signs on the road section prohibiting a left turn (reversal), then in any case, it would be possible to turn around only where the maneuver is not prohibited by the Rules, markings or signs, in accordance with clause 9.2 of the Rules.

                                                                            9.2. On two-way roads with four or more lanes, it is forbidden to overtake or pass into the lane intended for oncoming traffic. On such roads, left turns or U-turns may be performed at intersections and other places where it is not prohibited by the Rules, signs and (or) markings.

                                                                            Of course, and in the absence of a ban on turning by paragraph 8.11 of the Rules.

                                                                            8.11. U-turn is prohibited:
                                                                            at pedestrian crossings;
                                                                            in tunnels;
                                                                            on bridges, viaducts, overpasses and under them;
                                                                            at railway crossings;
                                                                            in places where the visibility of the road in at least one direction is less than 100 m;
                                                                            at the stops of route vehicles.

                                                                            It is important to remember that all commands are given by the inspector in advance and you have time to calmly prepare for the maneuver. Good luck on your exam!

                                                                            • Sergei Milyutin

                                                                              Love hello. It is not very clear what exactly the traffic situation was when the inspector gave you the command to stop. Stopping in accordance with the Rules of the Road is prohibited directly on the bridges. At the entrance to the bridge, in the absence of prohibition signs, markings, stopping is not prohibited by the Rules. On bridges, you can also stop if the road in this direction has at least three traffic lanes. The mark "DID NOT PASS", most likely because they ignored (did not follow) the examiner's command. Good luck and successful passing the exam.

                                                                              • Sergei Milyutin

                                                                                Andrew, good evening. In accordance with Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 24, 2014 No. 1097 “On admission to driving vehicles”, the requirements for examination routes indicate that the route must provide for movement at the maximum permitted speed.

                                                                                REQUIREMENTS
                                                                                to routes where driving exams are held
                                                                                vehicle in traffic

                                                                                1. The route used to conduct an exam in driving a vehicle in traffic conditions (hereinafter referred to as the route) must contain a certain set of elements of the road network, road signs and road markings, and also provide for the possibility for the candidate driver to perform mandatory actions on the assignment examiner in compliance with the rules of the road.

                                                                                2. The route must provide the opportunity for the driver candidate to perform the following maneuvers and actions:
                                                                                i) driving at the maximum permitted speed;

                                                                                3. The route must take into account the specifics of the performance of the actions specified in paragraph 2 of this document by a candidate for drivers on vehicles of various categories and subcategories.

                                                                                It follows from the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs No. 995 that the examiner takes the exam and controls the actions of the candidate for drivers, provided for in paragraph 2 of Appendix No. 2 to the Rules for the exam.

                                                                                Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation of October 20, 2015 N 995 Moscow "On approval of the Administrative Regulations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the provision of public services for conducting exams for the right to drive vehicles and issue driver's licenses"

                                                                                126. When driving along the route, the candidate driver, at the command of the examiner, performs the maneuvers and actions provided for in paragraph 2 of Appendix No. 2 to the Rules. The sequence of maneuvers and actions, including those related to changing the direction of movement along the route, is determined by the examiner during the exam.

                                                                                Carrying out an exam on driving in traffic conditions

                                                                                128. The examiner controls the progress of the maneuvers and actions provided for by the route, compliance with the Rules of the Road of the Russian Federation, gives commands to the candidate driver, evaluates his driving skills, the ability to control the traffic situation and make decisions if it changes, fixes errors in accordance with control table (Appendix No. 8 to the Administrative Regulations).

                                                                                For not following the command, the examiner has the right to give 5 points.

                                                                                Gross mistakes (5 points)
                                                                                Clause 1.17 "Did not complete (ignored) the task of the examiner"

                                                                                If the amount of penalty points for the mistakes made is 5 or more points, the driver candidate is given the mark “NOT PASSED”, the exam is terminated.

                                                                                But in addition to the regulations for the exam, there are also the Rules of the Road and clause 10.1.

                                                                                10.1. The driver must drive the vehicle at a speed not exceeding the established limit, taking into account the traffic intensity, the characteristics and condition of the vehicle and cargo, road and meteorological conditions, in particular visibility in the direction of travel. The speed must provide the driver with the possibility of constant control over the movement of the vehicle in order to comply with the requirements of the Rules.

                                                                                If there is a danger to traffic that the driver is able to detect, he must take all possible measures to reduce speed until the vehicle stops.

                                                                                If you think that due to road conditions (other reasons) you could not drive at the maximum allowed speed, you can try to protest the exam results if you have audio and video recording materials of the process
                                                                                conducting the exam.

                                                                                  • Sergey Drozdovsky

                                                                                    Andrei, you must move at the maximum speed allowed. This means that in addition to the general permission for a speed of 60 km / h, you must take into account road and meteorological conditions (clause 10.1 of the traffic rules of the Russian Federation). In this regard, it was enough for you to tell the inspector the reason why you are moving more slowly. The exam is audio-video recorded. I think that after your explanation, the exam would have been passed.

                                                                                    Sergei Milyutin

                                                                                    Andrew, good evening. Sergei Drozdovsky, I gave you an answer on how best to act in this situation. Speaking out your actions, really on the exam, often helps to avoid misunderstandings on the part of the inspector taking the exam. Good luck on your exam.

                                                                                    • Svetlana

                                                                                      When I took the exam, the inspector gave me the command simply “turn at the intersection”, and did not specify at which one, and I completed it at the next one, but the exam was not passed, because. the car did not fit on the roadway during the U-turn, and had to stop in front of the sidewalk right on the roadway (otherwise there would have been a collision). And I was afraid to drive through this intersection and turn around at another one, because I thought that the inspector would count as "did not complete (ignored) the examiner's task. I'm wondering how I should have acted in such a case in order to do it right.

                                                                                      Gregory

                                                                                      Passed the intersection, moving on a three-lane road in one direction, on the leftmost lane. The inspector didn't give any commands. I turned left at the next intersection from the left lane. The command came from the inspector: "We are looking for a place to stop and stop." You did not fulfill (ignore) the inspector's requirement, so you did not pass the exam. Explain whether the inspector acted correctly?

                                                                                      • Sergei Milyutin

                                                                                        Gregory, hello. In this situation, it is important what task the inspector gave you at the beginning of the movement. For example, if a command was given to move along the road in the forward direction, and before the intersection you did not have time to change lanes intended for movement in the desired direction and turned left, then the inspector had the right to consider that you did not complete (ignored) the examiner's task . As a rule, during the practical phase, a video recording of the exam should be made, so that in the event of a dispute, the results of the exam can be disputed.

Because of a large number cars on the roads, it is now becoming increasingly difficult for drivers to choose a place to park or stop. Some car owners think that nothing bad will happen if they leave their vehicle for a short time next to or directly on a pedestrian crossing. How else will it happen, and at best you can get a fine, and at worst - become the culprit of the accident. It is also worth bearing in mind that traffic police officers, having seen a car parked in violation of the rules of the road, have every right to call a tow truck that will take the car to a car impound.

But, most importantly, remember - the zebra was invented to ensure the safety of pedestrians, and by violating parking rules, you expose someone else's life unjustified risk. Let's discuss what to do if you need to park next to a pedestrian crossing.

Can I park behind a pedestrian crossing?

Car enthusiasts are often interested in this issue, since nowadays zebras are found at almost every turn, which makes it difficult to choose a parking space. Let's define the concepts.

The pedestrian crossing is intended for people wishing to cross the road. As a rule, it is indicated by special markings in the form of a zebra, as well as road signs familiar to everyone since childhood with a walking man.

Sometimes the markings are erased or become invisible under a layer of snow or dirt - in this case, you need to focus on established signs. That is, the distance between them informs drivers about the boundaries of the pedestrian crossing.

Interestingly, the foreign word "parking" in Russian rules there is simply no traffic. There is a parking lot. She assumes that:

  • the driver intentionally stopped the vehicle from moving;
  • the time that the machine will stand will exceed five minutes;
  • the reason that forced the car owner to stop is in no way connected with the disembarkation (boarding) of passengers, as well as with the loading (unloading) of the vehicle;
  • the car is placed parallel to the roadside (unless otherwise provided by signs) or in a place specially designated for parking purposes.

Traffic rules do not prohibit parking after a pedestrian crossing. Why? To answer this question, you need to understand - what is the seriousness of parking next to a zebra? With the safety of those who will walk across the road. If you park your car immediately after the crossing, this will not interfere with either pedestrians or other drivers, since their view of the zebra will not be blocked.

Important: Parking right next to the pedestrian crossing is allowed. The distance from the zebra in this case does not matter.

Parking in front of and after a pedestrian crossing - rules

Section 12 of the SDA refers to when parking and stopping are allowed or prohibited. Both pedestrians and drivers should understand that a vehicle that stops right in front of a zebra will simply block the view of other road users. This is extremely dangerous, as cars approaching the crossing may not see people crossing the road, because they will be blocked by an illegally parked car. In fact, there are a lot of such sad situations when a pedestrian unexpectedly for the driver appears already in the center of a zebra. And it's good if the reaction does not let the motorist down. But sometimes it’s not enough to quickly apply the brakes, because the mass of the car will still not allow it to stop instantly. If you need to park and there is a pedestrian crossing nearby, you must follow the following rules:

  • Parking and stopping directly on the zebra are prohibited.
  • Parking in front of a pedestrian crossing is possible and permissible if more than 5 meters remain before it.
  • If you want to leave the car behind a zebra, then remember that you cannot run into the markings.
  • Estimate the width of the stripes if they are separated by a solid marking line. Your car should not interfere with the movement of other vehicles, for this the distance from the solid line to the parked car should be 3 meters or more.

Important: sometimes on a two-lane road, drivers want to park their car on the left side. It is possible, but it must be done as follows: either stop before reaching the zebra, or drive through the crossing and 5 meters after it. The rules are simple - you should never park a vehicle so that it hides pedestrians from other motorists.

When choosing a parking spot, look at the signs and remember the rules of the road - parking is prohibited in some places. As a rule, it is unacceptable in the same place as the stop, which we will discuss below.

How to choose a place to stop at a pedestrian crossing?

Often, drivers do not understand the difference between the concepts of "stop" and "parking". And it is, and it is very significant. We talked about parking above. The stop assumes that the motorist will deliberately stop moving for a time that does not exceed 5 minutes. Perhaps more, but then the stop should have a specific purpose - boarding (disembarking) passengers or unloading (loading) a car. That is, the difference in terms lies in the time interval.

Here are examples of stopping:

  • The driver intentionally stopped driving the car for 4 minutes and 50 seconds. This will be a stop, and it does not matter at all what the people in the car were doing at the time in question.
  • If there was an intentional cessation of the movement of the vehicle in order to unload the vehicle. The duration of the process is not taken into account, you can unload at least 15 minutes, at least an hour.
  • It was necessary to disembark passengers. The time interval also does not matter.

Important: Let's say you decide to smoke. We got out of the car with a cigarette for 15 minutes - parking. If you accidentally have a stool lying around in your trunk, then take it out, sit down and smoke. This will be a stop. That is, the difference depends on the duration and goals.

When choosing a place to stop, you must be careful and look around. There is a possibility that it is impossible to perform such an action on the monitored section of the road according to the rules of the road. For example, there is a sign “Stopping is prohibited”, etc. When looking for a place to stop, you should use the rules announced in the traffic rules. It is forbidden to stop:

  • On rails intended for trams, as well as near them;
  • At railway crossings, bridges, tunnels, overpasses, etc.;
  • On a zebra and closer than 5 meters in front of it;
  • At a distance of less than 15 meters from the stop public transport. It can be indicated by both markup and a sign. An exception is the boarding and disembarking of people;
  • On a road with dangerous curves or heavy traffic;
  • On a lane reserved for cyclists;
  • If your car interferes with other road users. For example, it will interfere with pedestrians, block road signs or traffic signals from other motorists, etc.;
  • At an intersection and closer than 5 meters from the edge of the carriageway (the one you are crossing);
  • If the distance between your vehicle and the solid lane demarcation line (if any) is less than 3 meters.

The same requirements apply to parking, but two more are added: parking is prohibited on the carriageway of the main road if you are traveling outside the settlement, and at a distance of less than 50 meters from the railway crossing.

Distance to pedestrian crossing when parking

It was noted above that when parking in front of a pedestrian crossing, you need to stop moving 5 meters or more from it. You should focus on the markup or sign. Moreover, it should be understood that the distance is determined from the most protruding part of the car to the “pedestrian” sign or the beginning of the marking. The zebra itself is not taken into account.

When parking after crossing, you can ignore the distance to the markings if you parked on the right side of the road or the traffic is one-way. If you chose left lane on a two-lane road with an oncoming and passing traffic, then the crossing should be driven and the car stopped 5 or more meters from it.

Important: do not forget about other parking requirements, they are defined in the traffic rules. It is also necessary to correctly position the car relative to the roadway, and find out if parking is not prohibited for any reason.

Parking ticket at a pedestrian crossing

Parking a vehicle directly on a zebra entails administrative responsibility, as defined in Part 3 of Article 12.9 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. Parking at a pedestrian crossing is punishable by a fine of 1,000 rubles for the regions. For St. Petersburg and Moscow, the amount of the monetary penalty is higher and amounts to 3,000 rubles. This is due to the intensity of traffic and the huge amount of transport. Also, there is an additional measure of responsibility for illegal parking on a zebra - your car can be detained, that is, evacuated. A rather unpleasant situation, because the costs incurred by the tow truck, and the payment for the parking lot - everything falls on the shoulders of the car owner. Another disadvantage is the time spent on the return of the native car.

Important: Vehicles that make a forced stop are not fined. For example, if the driver or passenger became ill, the car broke down, etc. Most importantly, remember that in such a situation you need to do something - turn on the emergency gang and put an emergency stop sign on the road. Otherwise, it will be difficult to argue the legitimacy of parking in a prohibited place. If you are having difficulty proving the legality of your actions, then set .

Penalty for stopping at a pedestrian crossing

Stopping at a pedestrian crossing, as well as parking, is unacceptable. The liability for it is similar to the parking penalty discussed above.

Thus, parking behind a zebra is allowed, and you should stop at a distance of 5 meters or more before it. The fine for parking at a pedestrian crossing is 3,000 rubles for Moscow and St. Petersburg drivers and 1,000 rubles for car owners living in other regions. It is important to take into account the traffic situation as a whole, that is, pay attention to the markings, signs and other nuances covered in the rules of the road. First of all, drivers should understand that pedestrian crossings are designed to ensure the safety of people who want to get from point A to point B. This means that your actions, whether it be parking or stopping, should not lead to accidents or interfere with pedestrians and other drivers. Be careful and remember that your loved ones also cross the road every day.

While the car is moving along the highway, the driver tries to follow the rules of the road (traffic rules), and completely forgets about them when it comes time to stop and park the car. What this is connected with is not entirely clear. It is likely that while driving, a deterrent may be the risk of meeting a traffic police patrol, or the possibility of getting into the field of view of a surveillance camera.

But the fact remains, only it comes to parking, everything knowledge of traffic rules disappear somewhere, memory lapses appear. There is simply no other explanation for what is happening on the streets.

Transport funds are parked wherever technical specifications allow car. At the same time, drivers are completely indifferent to whether the car will interfere with others. The main concern is to park as close as possible to the final destination of the trip.

But
the amount of fines for "wrong" parking, no less than for other offenses
and often much more seriously. Plus, the analysis of the offense with traffic police inspectors is always accompanied by spent nerve cells, and a lot of negative emotions.

Getting rid of this is quite simple - read, understand the nuances and firmly remember what the traffic rules say about those places where parking is prohibited, and strictly follow what you read. By the way, the word "parking" is synonymous with the word "parking". Recently, it has been used in traffic rules. Previously, sign 6.4 was called "Parking place", now it has been renamed to "Parking place", the meaning has not changed.

1. Parking is prohibited, wherever DD rules prohibit stopping

The two terms “stopping” and “parking” imply the intentional cessation of movement. But the difference between them is only five minutes.

If after stopping the movement, the vehicle did not budge, less than five minutes, then according to the traffic rules, this is considered a stop. If this time was 5 minutes or more, then it is called parking. Thus, initially it should be remembered where it is impossible to stop.

Traffic rules prohibit stopping:

  • Under the sign prohibiting stopping - "Stopping is prohibited" (3.27).
  • In places where the vehicle will interfere with the free movement of trams (on or near tram tracks).

Fine, for stopping and parking, on the tram line is one and a half thousand rubles. For St. Petersburg and Moscow, the amount of the fine is twice as much - three thousand rubles.

  • At the intersection of the carriageway with the railway.

The size of the fine for stopping, and, accordingly, parking at the crossing will be 1 thousand rubles. But, in addition to a fine, there is a risk of losing driving license for at least three months, and if the offense is committed repeatedly. That the driver threatens to be left without a license for a year.

  • If the distance between the opposite edge of the road and the parked vehicle is less than three meters. The median lane and solid marking line, in this case also considered the edge of the road, and the distance is measured to the lane or line.

For violation, the minimum blow to the driver's pocket will be 1500 r. This is only if the offender did not interfere with other vehicles, otherwise the fine will increase to 2 thousand rubles. (For St. Petersburg and Moscow - three thousand in both cases).

2. Parking under the sign "Parking prohibited". (3.28)

This sign, like all the others, is valid only on the side of the road where it was installed. For example - on a road where only one-way traffic is allowed, and the sign is installed on the right side of the road, then its effect, on left side, is not covered, and parking is allowed there.

The territory on which this sign operates ends at the nearest intersection encountered in the direction of travel. But here it should be noted that adjacent dirt roads, or exits from adjacent territories, or some other areas, are not considered intersections.

If the sign is used together with marking 1.10 (dashed yellow line), then its effect is determined by the length of this marking. The action of the sign "Parking is prohibited" ends at the entrance to the settlement, or exit from it.

If a plate (8.2.2.) is attached under the sign, then the effect of the sign is limited to the distance indicated on the plate. Plates 8.2.3 and 8.2.4 also define the distribution area of the sign.

When a sign prohibiting parking is installed jointly with one of the plates 8.4.1-8.4.8, this means that the prohibition applies only to the type of transport indicated on the plate.

This sign does not apply to:

Parking in territories that fall under the signs “Stopping is prohibited” and “Parking is prohibited” is punishable by a fine of 1,500 rubles, for Moscow and St. Petersburg - 3,000 rubles.

3. Parking on the roadway

On the road, if highway passes, outside the settlement, and is marked with the sign " the main road» (2.1), the fine is 1 thousand rubles.

4. Parking at the railway crossing

At the railway crossing, and 50 meters from it. A fine of 1,000 rubles is imposed on violators; if the violation is repeated, the driver is deprived of the right to drive the vehicle for a period of 1 year.

In addition to the above, there are a number of important points to keep in mind..

If a parked car is an obstacle to the movement of other vehicles or pedestrians- this is considered a violation of the parking rules of the vehicle. The fine for such parking is provided in the amount of 3 thousand rubles, plus the vehicle is sent to the impound by a tow truck.

You can often see parked car right on the lawn. There is no ban on such parking in the traffic rules. However, damage to lawns, flower beds, trees, etc. is an offense. The amount of the fine for this is determined by the local authorities. The average for the regions is 500 rubles.

Parking on the sidewalks is not a rare occurrence either. Certainly, there is such a thing as "near sidewalk parking", but such places are marked with a sign, with a sign explaining exactly how it is allowed to park vehicles. Unauthorized parking on the sidewalk, in addition to a fine, may result in the evacuation of the vehicle. Moreover, even if the car is on the sidewalk with only one wheel, this will already be regarded as a violation of the rules for placing the vehicle in the parking lot. Two wheels on the pavement can make things worse.

Such a parking may be regarded by the traffic police inspector as driving on sidewalks, and will cost the owner of a parked car - 2 thousand rubles. In addition, the vehicle may be detained and sent to the impound.

In conclusion, I would like to remind, lovers of parking vehicles, where parking is prohibited.

What in addition to the fine for parking violations, the services of a tow truck, as well as parking a vehicle in a car impound, are paid separately

Vehicles often make a stop - forced or in the event of a breakdown. There are areas where parking or stopping is not allowed.

Failure to comply with these rules will result in penalties. What are these places, and what is the size of the penalty?

Important Points

Stopping cars in unauthorized areas is a common violation of drivers. For this, they face a penalty in the form of a fine.

In order not to get into an unpleasant situation and not get a fine, you need to carefully read the requirements for stops and parking of vehicles.

The vehicle owner must remember main principle- parking and stopping are allowed on the right side of the track - on the edge.

Due to various circumstances, the driver has the right to stop and stand only in such a section (if there is no prohibition and other requirements of the traffic police).

If the settlement does not have a shoulder, then it is permissible to stop or park on the edge of the carriageway.

There are times when it is acceptable to brake and stand on the left side of the track. This:

If it is a truck, then it is allowed to stop under such conditions only for loading or unloading cargo.

The purpose of such requirements is to ensure maximum safety for both stationary vehicles and those moving around.

It is better not to occupy the roadside outside the boundaries of the settlement - it can become a site that will make it possible to dodge an accident involving several vehicles.

Vehicles may only be parked in a single lane and only parallel to the carriageway. Privileges - for vehicles with two wheels.

Parking at the corner of the road or on the sidewalk is allowed only for cars or mopeds, bicycles. This is not allowed for other vehicles.

There are situations in which the vehicle is stationary, but this is not considered to be either a stop or a parking lot. These are the cases:

  • inclusion of a prohibitory signal of a traffic light or traffic controller;
  • in front of a footpath, intersection, stop, if the passage of people or vehicles is implied;
  • traffic jams.

There is no penalty in such cases.

Basic concepts

Stop Planned stoppage of vehicles for a period of up to 5 minutes or more - for disembarking or embarking people, loading cargo
Parking Suspension of driving, not related to disembarking people or loading cargo
parking A specially designated and equipped area, which is considered part of the route, and is adjacent to the sidewalk, roadside
Traffic Laws A set of rules that regulate the duties of private road users (drivers, pedestrians) and contain requirements for safe movement on the road

Operation of the Rules of the Road

Constant, uninterrupted movement of the vehicle is impossible: both the driver and the equipment must rest. Or, in other words, go into stop or parking mode.

We note only one important circumstance: the presence of both signs and markings is an incomparable benefit for the driver. And all because they are a very clear way to regulate stopping and parking, and the car owner can personally verify the correctness (or, unfortunately, incorrectness) of their actions.

However, the presence or absence of the previously mentioned signs and markings does not yet exhaust the principles of stopping and parking, for which a special section has been allocated in the SDA.

SDA section 12: general principles of stopping and parking

The 12th section of the SDA is specifically devoted to the rules for stopping and parking (in the event that they are not prohibited by the signs and markings already considered).

So, the driver needs to sacredly remember " Golden Rule»: both stopping and parking are allowed on the right side of the road - on the side of the road.

Under any circumstances, the car owner, when planning parking, can make it here (unless, of course, this is prohibited by other traffic rules).

However, in large and medium-sized settlements, as a rule, there is no roadside. In such cases, the Rules allow stopping and parking on the right side of the road - on the edge of the carriageway.

The driver must clearly understand that if there is a shoulder and it is possible to stop and park on it, he is forbidden to use the carriageway for these purposes.

Such tactics will be a gross violation of traffic rules, and most often drivers commit it when driving outside the settlement. Thus, they not only create obstacles for the movement of other vehicles, but also contribute to the creation emergency under high speed conditions.

The rules provide for stopping and parking not only on the right side of the road. In two cases, it is allowed to park on its left side. But both of these options are directly related to the road sections of the settlement.

1. A two-lane road (one lane for each direction) with no tram tracks in the middle.

Stopping and parking on the left side of such roads, at first glance, looks unsafe. After all, the exit from such a parking lot will be carried out from the lane of oncoming traffic. However, in the settlement - in the conditions current restriction speed limit- this danger does not seem so serious. But the need to find a parking space - on the contrary - looks like a rather urgent problem.

It becomes quite clear the requirement that there are no tram tracks in the middle of the road.

Just in this case, the exit of the vehicle from the parking lot on the left side of a very wide road will no longer be safe.

2. One-way road.

The right to stop on the left side of a one-way road should not cause skepticism or rejection, because traffic across the entire width of the carriageway is carried out in one direction.

True, drivers of trucks, whose permitted maximum weight exceeds 3.5 tons, must remember that under these conditions they are only allowed to stop and only for loading and unloading the vehicle.

As for the situation outside the built-up area, here any driver should refrain from stopping on the left side of the road, as well as from long-term parking(for a long rest, overnight stay, etc.) within the road. He should find a special area provided for parking or go off the road.

This requirement is intended to ensure maximum safety for both stationary vehicles and those moving on the road. In unforeseen cases, the shoulder can become a site, thanks to which you can avoid a collision by changing lanes to it. Therefore, it is desirable for the roadside outside the settlement to be free.

But on the "Motorway" (5.1), for example, as on or M4, and "Road for cars" (5.3), stopping and parking, in general, are allowed only on special sites, which, in addition, must be marked with appropriate signs indicating the possibility parking.

Within such a road - both on the carriageway and on the side of the road - stopping and parking are strictly prohibited. This restriction is connected both with the intensity of traffic on such sections of the road, and with them.

Location of the vehicle when parking

When positioning the vehicle in stop and park conditions, one more “golden rule” must be remembered: the vehicle can only be parked in one row and only parallel to the roadway. The only exception to this rule are two-wheeled vehicles that can be placed in two rows.

Another way of parking is allowed only if it is indicated accordingly by the signs “Parking method”, as well as horizontal road marking lines indicating parking “boxes”.

In this case, it is allowed to make stops and parking at an angle to the carriageway and even using the sidewalk space. But in this case, there should be a corresponding indication of the plate for this method of setting.

In these conditions, the driver must remember one more requirement: to put at an angle to the roadway or on the sidewalk. The rules allow only cars, motorcycles, mopeds and bicycles. It is prohibited to park other vehicles at an angle to the carriageway or use the sidewalk space.

For all other vehicles, such parking methods are not available. They may stop and park only parallel to the carriageway and only when such a method is permitted.

Thus, the location of the vehicle when parking relative to the roadway must be parallel, unless signs and / or markings indicate a different way of parking the vehicle.

Where it is prohibited to stop and park vehicles

Special cases of prohibition of stopping

Paragraph 12.4 of the SDA is devoted to cases when drivers are strictly prohibited from stopping (and, consequently, parking). All these cases, provided for by the Rules, are united by one common property: it is not safe to stop and park in such sections.

1. Stopping is prohibited on the tram tracks and in the immediate vicinity of the tram tracks, if the stopped vehicle will interfere with the movement of the tram.

The ban on stopping in such places is connected with the impossibility of continuing the movement of rail vehicles, because the tram will not be able to bypass the obstacle that has arisen on its rails.

2. Stopping is prohibited at railway crossings.

It is unlikely that a sane person would object to a ban on stopping on railway tracks, which are a particularly dangerous section of the road. The driver must remember that the boundaries of the railway crossing are limited by barriers or signs "Single-track railway" (1.3.1) or "Multi-track railway" (1.3.2) installed at the entrance to the crossing and the exit from it. This is where stopping is prohibited.

3. Stopping is prohibited in the tunnels.

As a rule, tunnel portals are not so wide, and stopping here will interfere with the unhindered and safe movement of other vehicles. And the drivers themselves tend to drive through the limited spaces of the tunnels as quickly as possible.

4. Stopping is prohibited on bridges, flyovers, overpasses and under them (there is an exception).

The prohibition of stopping on artificial span structures is determined by a number of circumstances:

  • limited space;
  • the danger of placing a large number of vehicles here, creating pressure on the supporting structures of the structure, etc.

The ban on stopping under such artificially created objects is due to the same limited space.

However, the driver must remember an important exception to this rule.

If ON the bridge, ON the flyover, ON the overpass (but not under them) in this direction there are at least three traffic lanes, then stopping and parking ON such structures are allowed.

5. Stopping is prohibited in sections where the distance between the stopped vehicle and the solid marking line (except for 1.2.1), the opposite edge of the carriageway or the dividing strip is less than 3 meters.

Let's take a look at the intricacies of this situation.

The lack of a 3-meter interval between stopped vehicles and a solid marking line makes it very difficult for others to bypass them without violating traffic rules. They will be forced to break the Rules.

The same circumstance also applies in the case of a dividing strip and the opposite edge of the carriageway, when drivers of other vehicles both physically (because of the curb) and legally will not be able to bypass the stopped transport.

6. Stopping is prohibited at pedestrian crossings, as well as closer than 5 meters in front of them.

The prohibition of stopping and parking at a pedestrian crossing is understandable: otherwise, the movement of pedestrians, who have an advantage in this area, will be interfered with.

The necessary distance of 5 meters before the pedestrian crossing should provide the driver with visibility of the approaching vehicle. In this case, the pedestrian entering the pedestrian crossing will not be an unpleasant surprise for drivers.

7. Stopping is prohibited on the roadway in the conditions limited visibility(less than 100 meters in any direction).

This restriction of stopping and parking is introduced so that in difficult road conditions there are no obstacles on the roadway in the face of stopped vehicles. This circumstance significantly complicates the oncoming traffic. But this rule only applies to .

Stopping and parking on the roadside are not prohibited.

8. Stopping is prohibited at the intersections of carriageways and 5 meters before and after them (there is an exception).

The prohibition of stopping and parking at the intersections of carriageways is quite natural. After all, how will other road users move in this case?

A very important circumstance. Some drivers say that stopping and parking are prohibited. This is wrong: it is at the intersections of carriageways and 5 meters before and after them. And this is fundamental!

Let's look at the next example.

Before us is a roundabout. It is formed by three intersections of carriageways. And stopping (with parking) at such an intersection is allowed, but subject to a 5-meter distance to each intersection.

It is important to note that there is one exception to this rule: T-junction with a solid marking line (or dividing strip) opposite the side passage, stopping and parking are allowed. Naturally, subject to a 3-meter interval to a solid line (or dividing line).

This exception is understandable. With a solid line (or dividing strip) at such an intersection, left turns and U-turns are prohibited. Therefore, a vehicle standing in front of a side passage will not interfere with the rectilinear movement of other vehicles.

And, conversely, a broken line marking at the intersection will create a crowd and lead to congestion.

9. Stopping is prohibited at public transport stops (route vehicles) and taxi ranks, as well as 15 meters before and after them (there is an exception).

Such restriction of stopping and parking is explained by the need for unhindered movement of route vehicles and passenger taxis.

As for the 15-meter distance before and after such places, this requirement is connected with the prospect of unimpeded exit of such vehicles from the indicated sections of the road.

If there is a “yellow broken line” marking (1.18), the driver must measure the prescribed 15 meters on each side from the marking line. And in the absence of markings - from signs 5.16 - 5.18.

An exception to the rule under consideration is as follows: drivers are allowed to stop at public transport stops and taxi ranks only if two conditions are met (simultaneously):

  • for embarkation and disembarkation of a passenger;
  • provided that there is no interference with route vehicles and passenger taxis.

Therefore, it is not at all necessary when boarding and disembarking passengers at a bus stop. The main thing is not to interfere with the "minibuses" by disembarking or seating passengers.

10. Stopping is prohibited in those places where the stopped vehicle makes it impossible for another vehicle to enter or exit, interferes with pedestrians, and also closes the means of traffic control (signs or traffic lights).

Such a ban is obvious.

For example, the driver truck blocked the visibility of the No Stopping sign for other drivers.

And it takes a very long time to deal with this situation. There are many offenders here. Here's how they can get away.

11. Stopping is prohibited in the cyclist lane.

Here everything is clear and without comments. This is a lane for cyclists only, and drivers of motor vehicles have nothing to do on it: neither for movement, nor for stopping or parking.

Special cases of prohibition of parking

According to the traffic rules, parking is prohibited in those places where stopping is prohibited. This circumstance is quite logical, because, as noted earlier, it is impossible to park without first stopping (at least for 5 minutes).

So, parking (as well as stopping) is prohibited:

1) on the tram tracks and in the immediate vicinity of the tram tracks, if at the same time the stopped vehicle will interfere with the movement of the tram;

2) at railway crossings;

3) in tunnels;

4) on bridges, overpasses, overpasses and under them (except for cases when ON the bridge, ON the overpass, ON the overpass (but not under them) in this direction there are at least three traffic lanes);

5) in sections where the distance between the stopped vehicle and the solid marking line (except for 1.2.1), the opposite edge of the carriageway or the dividing strip is less than 3 meters;

6) at pedestrian crossings, as well as closer than 5 meters in front of them;

7) on the roadway in conditions of limited visibility (less than 100 meters in any direction);

8) at the intersections of carriageways and 5 meters before and after them (except for the case of parking at a T-shaped intersection with a solid marking line (or a dividing strip) opposite a side passage);

9) in places of stops of public transport (route vehicles) and parking lots of passenger taxis, as well as 15 meters before and after them;

10) in those places where the stopped vehicle makes it impossible for other vehicles to enter or exit, interferes with pedestrians, and also closes the means of traffic control (signs or traffic lights);

11) on the lane for cyclists.

In addition to these cases, parking is prohibited in two more areas.

1. Parking is prohibited outside the settlement on the carriageway of roads marked with the sign "Main road" (2.1).

The ban on parking on this section of the road is due to the high speed of movement outside the settlement. Especially if the traffic is on the main road. In such conditions, a vehicle standing on the roadway will be a clear hindrance. And if a short stop here is allowed, then parking using the roadway is excluded by the Rules for reasons of elementary safety.

Consequently, outside the settlement on the carriageway of the road marked with the sign "Main Road", parking is allowed only on the side of the road or outside the road.

2. Parking is prohibited within the 50m zone before and after railroad crossings.

Parking, like stopping, is prohibited at a railway crossing. This is not discussed. But parking cannot be carried out also at a distance of 50 meters before and after the move.

Such a ban is explained by the danger of this section of the road, located in close proximity to the railway tracks.

Actions of the driver and passengers when stopping and parking

When stopping or parking, the driver and passengers are prohibited from opening the doors of the vehicle if these actions interfere with other road users.

Agree, a textbook example and a very common mistake of both drivers and passengers.

In the event that the driver is going to leave the vehicle and leave it unattended, he is obliged to do everything possible to exclude the possibility of involuntary movement of the vehicle, as well as its unauthorized use.

This means that it is necessary to restrict the access of unauthorized persons to the vehicle (close the door and trunk locks, activate the anti-theft system provided for by the design, put the car on an alarm system, etc.).

Thus, the knowledge by the driver of the rules for stopping and parking vehicles will allow, on the one hand, to avoid punishment in accordance with applicable law (in the form of an administrative fine and), and on the other hand, to keep his vehicle intact (or at least hinder unauthorized penetration into it and illegal possession of it).

    In Europe, for microcars (for example, Smart), in order to instill interest in them, a number of concessions were made in the orientation of the car when parking: 2 cars in one place, permission to put across, etc. It seems to me that it would be nice to introduce this into our traffic rules - you see, the people will transfer from their huge cars, freeing up a lot of space!

    Dmitry Borisovich

    I agree with Vitaliy, When the Tundra stands near the parking sign on the side of the road, then the soul is not calm.
    In general, you need to know the parking rules, our traffic police like to issue fines allegedly for wrong parking. Not everyone has traffic rules with them and is able to object to the inspectors.

    We have a problem with handicapped parking. Occupied by quite healthy people. I paid for parking myself 2 weeks ago. I got into the paid parking area. But the car was taken away by a tow truck, and I got a fine for parking in places for the disabled. On pavement there was no disabled parking sign, just a disabled parking sign hidden in the foliage of a tree. That's how I got caught for my carelessness. It turns out that the society of the disabled seemed to have few parking spaces in the city, at the request they were increased by 10%, but the markings did not have time to update.

    Oksana

    I often read information about road signs and markings on the Internet. Innovations may take effect and you may not know about them! Every driver should always be aware of the rules, and repetition, as they say, is the mother of learning!

    I myself drive a Toyota IQ, it would be great if similar concessions for mini-cars were legalized in our country. In general, everything is sad with parking, I constantly see cars, standing straight under the signs and nothing .. only in the center of the city traffic cops still somehow walk and the tow truck works

    Vadim

    The most painful topic for both motorists and pedestrians. Now with the introduction of paid parking, there are not so many options where to leave the car. Previously, I often traveled to Europe, and there for a long time you can leave your Smart Mini next to the same Mini in one place. If only Russia had adopted such a law, you see, some would have moved to Smart Mini.

    It's a pity that not everyone knows the rules correct parking, but they park the cars where they want, and then they complain that they took them to the impound. In resort towns, tow trucks are actively working, and we constantly have traffic jams because of those who are too lazy to walk an extra 50 meters from the parking lot.
    And more often it is necessary to update knowledge about traffic rules, otherwise extra fines you won't get off.

    Edward

    Once I was in a traffic jam and I see how some motorists go around the row on the side of the road. Outrageous. What could threaten them for this? Of course, they are unlikely to deprive them of their rights, I think they will issue a fine, if so, in what amount?

    Galina

    I read the article and decided that the traffic rules need to be flipped over again. Over time, the information is forgotten, now I am guided only in everyday traffic situations.

    Paul

    I was in St. Petersburg, there is practically nowhere to stop at museums, I had to leave the car far along the road, so I noticed that traffic cops with a tape measure measured the distance from cars to intersections and pedestrian crossings. Half a meter and drove to the tow truck!

    Nicholas

    Once he proved his case to the inspector. I stopped on the bridge, the view was beautiful on the city, I decided to take a picture. The traffic police car drove up and the inspector sat on me that stopping at this place is prohibited. There were three lanes in one direction, moreover, I often saw that cars stopped here. There was a sign in the distance, which, according to the inspector, forbids stopping here. I had to walk around to make sure that the visible sign does not apply to this site. As a result, we left without a fine, but the inspector promised to catch me in another place. Ten years have passed since then, I have not seen him again.

    Maria

    Parking signs are especially annoying for time and for even and odd numbers. I mixed up the date, I was looking for a car. I thought they stole it, but it was taken away by a tow truck

    Ivanovich

    In the good old days, when there were much fewer cars on the roads, even then violations of the rules of stopping and parking were not uncommon. The most common violations were: stopping outside the city on the left side of the road, unloading passengers onto the carriageway. Many drivers did not understand the difference between the action of the signs “no stopping” and “no parking”. Drivers often stopped in prohibited places, making it difficult for other cars to move. At present, the situation has deteriorated sharply, especially in major cities, and already in regional centers. There are so many cars involved in the movement that the arrangement of organized parking lots and violation of parking rules is a constant problem. A caste of impudent drivers has formed, whose favorite habit is to stop the vehicle on the roadway, hiding behind the included emergency gang.

    Vladimir

    There are more and more cars on the road every day, but the number of competent drivers, unfortunately, is progressively decreasing. I am no longer surprised by a parked car across the parking lot markings.

    Tatiana

    When I got my license, I couldn't remember which parking sign and which stop. Yes, I also confused where on even and odd days, it is forbidden to park on weekends. Periodically, I also re-read about the signs, so as not to miss the new.

    Sergey

    In the near future, all regulation should be transferred to CCTV cameras, naturally the number of traffic police officers will be reduced. If, for example, I have a forced stop in the wrong place - a breakdown, poor health, etc. In the usual case, you can stand as long as you like until you fix the problem or until the traffic police notice you, but in this case you can prove your innocence on the spot. And what about surveillance cameras after the fine comes, because in most cases the evidence base may be absent for many reasons.

    Ivan

    Last month, three parking tickets in inappropriate places. And as I see, in one place, the police were wrong.

    Lyokha

    Despite a solid driving experience, parking in the city still causes certain difficulties. There is a lot of transport, everything is more or less suitable places clogged, the markings are often either very tricky or worn out from old age, the inspectors love to catch violators and it is not always possible to prove their case, given the rather complex regulation in the traffic rules, a lot of nuances that, to be honest, few people know. Sometimes it’s easier to walk a kilometer on foot than to suffer, trying to fit into the vacated “pockets”. Outside settlements simpler, but when parking on "nimble" motorways, of course, it is very desirable to drive away from the curb, otherwise many unpleasant stories happen, starting with fines and ending with an accident.

    Galina

    Parking is serious problem our roads and yards. If on the road the parking rules are still somehow observed, then in the yards this is a problem. They park where they want, on playgrounds, in flowerbeds.

    Oleg

    I read all the reviews and am surprised, most complain that the stop sign annoys them. I often see this situation: a driver drives up to a place where stopping is prohibited, turns on emergency lights and goes about his business. I specially timed the time, sometimes it reached half an hour. Well, what kind of culture can we talk about then. And it’s right that they are taken away on tow trucks, and then we complain that we need to look for a car. Let's comply with the requirements and then everyone will be happy.

    Peter

    Last time paid parking near the shopping center, mass events, etc. not fully regulated and often just half empty. Drivers have to make detours in other free places and create inconvenience for themselves and others. For example, I don't want to pay freeloaders. And thus, the city administration, together with the traffic police for profit, through which IP creates emergency situations and contributes to traffic violations, making a profit even at the expense of fines and evacuation.

    Leonid

    I stopped to take pictures at the dam across the yellow solid line, the traffic police immediately drove up and began to issue a fine! But who determined that I was standing for more than 5 minutes and how to prove my case, is there such a possibility?

    Oleg

    In order not to sort things out with the traffic police, when I'm driving along the M2 highway, I most often use not the roadside, but the exits to the forest or the field, these rules already do not apply there and there is practically nothing for the traffic police to find fault with. Yes, and most calmly, trucks do not fly past.

    Ivanovich

    That's literally yesterday. I'm driving down the street, the usual three-meter width of the road. A car is driving ahead. I keep my distance. Suddenly he starts to slow down and stops without moving to the side of the road. I decide which side to go around, when suddenly a stopped car starts to reverse right at me. He managed to dodge. That's what it means to violate the rules of stopping. At first I wanted to beat the driver, who made excuses that he did not see me. Ram.

    Sergey Sergeevich

    Here are smart people - they came up with a sign for stopping / parking "place of rest", they just forgot to indicate the radius of action. Whatever they come up with - where to work, if only not to work. On all country roads, I have the right to stop anywhere I want outside the roadway, on any roadside where there are no prohibition signs. According to this, why such a sign is needed.

    Artyom

    I understand what a stop and parking are, and the signs indicating parking places, parking lots and organized recreation areas do not frighten me. But prohibition signs cause a lot of trouble, I don’t particularly like yellow markings, it would be better if the sign hung.

    Anton

    As always, winter came unexpectedly. In our city, and in others, probably, the implementation of the rules for stopping and parking becomes more complicated due to their coverage with snow. Even at night, public utilities cannot clean organized parking lots, as they are occupied by cars. For this reason, the snow rolls and gets higher and higher. At the first thaw, trampled snow turns into porridge. It is difficult to enter the parking lot and not so easy to leave, the car is skidding. I can’t understand how to solve this problem, because the culprits of this situation are not even the city authorities, but we, the drivers.

    Victor

    Yes, in winter it is sometimes impossible to comply with the rules for parking a car because of snowdrifts. and it's a disaster on the highway. Only "emergency" rescues.
