Regarding what I can highlight from the positive: a car with an excellent design, a quite spacious interior (we have a family of 4 people, so everyone is comfortable and no one infringes on anyone's personal space). The Opel Insignia has a large luggage compartment. This car with a comfortable fit, good overview. I went to the “long-distance trip”, so there was no feeling of fatigue at all, so I was still full of energy and we happily celebrated the arrival. A car with excellent handling, sensitive steering, but at the same time there is no tension at all, turns with a bang, stability is also what you need, comfortable. From some you can hear that the Opel Insignia is harsh, but I do not agree with this, because it is generally ideal in this regard. IN long trips That's the only way to get out of this car. Reliability: here I don’t have any comments at all, I opened the hood only to add a “washer”, for the entire period of operation it was only necessary to replace the clutch (but this is my misfortune, because I started to slip, in the end it burned out), brake discs, well, of course, that "consumables" (oils, filters, brake pads). On this moment dripping antifreeze from the pump, but nothing else.
Advantages : reliability, great design, spacious salon, large luggage compartment, comfortable fit, excellent handling.

In terms of accelerating dynamics, you feel a tangible advantage in city traffic, so that the desire to drive disappears, there is simply no longer any interest in this. My car is in the color "Luxor" mother-of-pearl, with overflowing shades from almost black to blue, and in the sun the color seems purple. I am not overjoyed at the amount of ground clearance - 160 millimeters. My Opel Insignia sedan with 19" rims 245/40 plus repair kit. Dimensions luggage compartment allow you to fit about five people there, if necessary. If compared with classmates, then it compares favorably, for example, with the richness of the equipment and the quality of the interior trim (in comparison, say, with the Volkswagen Passat or Audi A4). An excellent car and a great price.
Advantages : accelerating dynamics makes me fall out of love with racing - I always win. Ground clearance pleases! The trunk is huge.
Flaws : consumption is high, but this is the price for great driving pleasure.

That's decided to write a review about my swallow Opel Insignia. What can I say - the car is just a fairy tale, a beast, control on high level, rapidly gaining desired speed. She doesn't drive, she just floats. In case you need to overtake sharply, pedal all the way and you are already ahead. And when cornering, she simply has no equal! The car is a dream. I've been driving Opels for a long time. Started with a modest 1998 Vectra B Hatchback, after the 2006 Astra Classic, 2008 Opel Vectra C, and now the Insignia. Before buying a car, I knew that it was very good, but did not expect so much! Very pleased with the automatic transmission, also at a high level. There are no problems in the Opel Insignia yet, and I hope there won't be. I cannot fail to note the very comfortable seats, both front and rear, they instantly take the shape of the back, thereby providing comfortable travel for any distance. You also need to pay attention to the design of the machine. Quite aggressive, at the same time soft design attracts both men and women. Driving this car is a pleasure! I can't say enough about the price of this beauty. She fully justifies herself. So who doubts whether to buy or not, take it without hesitation! The Germans thought of everything very well, decent car. All the best!

Not without reason, all fans of the Opel brand were so looking forward to the restyling of the flagship sedan - Insignia. No one could have imagined that the Germans would treat the matter with such zeal.
Externally, the car has become stockier and more powerful. There are new, elegant headlights and foglights, the wedge-shaped profile of the model can now be confused with a BMW, and the feed has changed noticeably. In general, the update has only benefited.
But what about the engines? It is worth getting to know them better.
Insignia 1.8MT
The first from the end of the list is the usual gasoline “aspirated” with a volume of 1.8 liters. Its power is 140 hp. with., coupled with 175 Nm of torque. 11.5 seconds to 100 km / h - not impressive. With such a motor prestigious sedan will always trail at the end, looking at more nimble competitors. It is justified only by the price - 797,000 rubles.
Insignia 1.6 Turbo MT/AT

Real "Schumachers" will surely like the 2-liter, in-line turbocharged "gasoline". With such an engine (249 hp and 400 Nm of thrust), you can easily be ahead of the flow and not worry about the lack of momentum when overtaking. You can exchange a "weave" on it in 7.7 seconds. (And it's all-wheel drive).

In addition to gasoline engines, 2 diesel engines are also available. They are almost identical in power - 160 and 163 hp. s., and in terms of torque they are equal - 350 Nm per “brother”. In addition to 3 "horses", the only difference is in the drive - the 163-horsepower engine has it full. Acceleration to hundreds takes them from 9.5 to 10.5 seconds. In addition, they are surprisingly economical - from 4.3 to 5.6 liters of fuel per hundred.
For engines of 1.8 and 1.6 liters, along with a 2-liter diesel engine, both a manual transmission (the only possible one for a 1.8-liter engine) and an “automatic” are available. Both have 6 steps. But all-wheel drive versions can only be purchased with automatic transmission.

Comfort in the Opel Insignia
The engineers did a great job on the suspension too - the restyled Insignia makes its way along asphalt flaws with cat softness, and it also holds blows on large potholes. Overall, comfort is top notch.
Salon Insignia is ranked in the highest category. Unique design, luxurious finishing materials, german assembly, generous equipment - as befits an executive sedan.
Some of the buttons from the center console have disappeared, but only to appear on the steering wheel. AND dashboard, and a huge display in the center of the dashboard read just great. There's plenty of room in the back, and the front seats do a great job of keeping the body in tight corners.
The basic versions are not rich - there is neither "climate" nor most electronic assistants, and multimedia is not happy. Well, you have to pay for all the joys, and already for 1,000,000 rubles. you can buy a car with a 1.6T engine and automatic transmission in a decent configuration.
