The plant produces small, medium, large, extra-large buses and trolleybuses various modifications, in particular, tourist, intercity, suburban, urban, specialized and school.

At the time of the formation of the corporation "Bogdan", the enterprises included in its structure were already one of the leading operators in the Ukrainian market. According to AUTO-Consulting, following the results of 2004, the newly minted "Bogdan" controlled 14.2% of the market and assembled cars at the Lutsk Automobile Plant, organized co-production VAZ-2107, 2093\99 at ZAZ and produced own buses"Bogdan" in Cherkasy. The company was the importer Hyundai cars, KIA, Subaru and the main operator in Ukraine of AvtoVAZ products. Himself car brand"Bogdan" was born back in 1998, with the advent of the first A091 bus.

With the advent of the Bogdan corporation, the largest recent history Ukraine's automotive project - the construction of a completely new car plant in Cherkasy with a capacity of 120,000 cars per year. At the same time, all bus production from Cherkasy was to be moved to Lutsk on the area of the LuAZ plant, where modern plant for the production of buses with a capacity of 7000 units per year.

These rotations are called "castling", by analogy with chess. Ukraine has not yet known such large-scale movements of automobile plants. But in 2005, the car market was on the rise and grew by 30-40% per year.

Bogdan Corporation was successful in all endeavors, and exported its buses of the same name to Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Belarus. In 2005 alone, the production of buses increased by 78% and reached the figure of 2008 units. And the assembly of passenger cars in Lutsk exceeded 30,000 units.

After the announcement in 2005 in Russia of special benefits for automotive manufacturers, the corporation "Bogdan" decides, together with partners, to build another car plant in Nizhny Novgorod region where they were supposed to produce cars, trucks and buses. The Ukrainian delegation, which arrived on December 20, 2006, laid the first stone in the construction of a new enterprise and then announced grandiose plans. "Investments in the construction of the plant will amount to 470 million US dollars. Full localization of the project will additionally attract another 300 million US dollars," said Oleg Svinarchuk, President of the Bogdan Corporation, in Nizhny Novgorod(RF) at the ceremony of laying the first stone of the plant.

According to the project, at the facilities of the enterprise for the technology of welding, painting, assembling, cars were to be produced Chevrolet Lanos And Chevrolet Aveo in the amount of 160,000 cars per year, as well as 6,000 Bogdan-Isuzu buses of small, medium and large classes. It is also planned to produce 8,000 chassis for buses, as well as diesel engines for medium duty trucks and buses. The production capacity will be 60,000 engines per year.

But even then Ukrainian investments were not very much allowed for Russian market. The construction of a car factory in the Russian Federation did not begin, but the construction of a new enterprise in Cherkassy was in full swing. Corporation "Bogdan" annually increased in sales and presented a novelty after a novelty. In 2007, according to AUTO-Consulting, it has already become operator No. 2 in the Ukrainian car market.

True, the strategists already then had concerns about the conditions on which Ukraine joined the WTO, which were too unfavorable for production workers. However, behind the crazy pace of growth of the car market, it seemed that "the worst will not happen."

But it did happen. Ukraine in 2008 enters the WTO and in the middle of the year immediately lowers import duties on cars. There was a holiday in the Bogdan corporation at that moment - the opening of a new and such a long-awaited car plant in Cherkasy.

On June 20, 2008, something extraordinary happened for automotive industry Ukraine event. In Cherkassy, the newest automobile plant "Bogdan" was put into operation, which has a full production cycle, including welding, painting and assembly. Investments of the corporation "Bogdan" in the construction of a new car plant in Cherkasy exceeded $ 330 million. The enterprise was supposed to produce two models of passenger cars Lada cars(2110, 2111) and three Hyundai car models (Tucson, Elantra and Accent). The capacity of the enterprise was determined by the latest painting complex Eisemann, with a capacity of 120 thousand bodies per year. And the total number of employees of all departments has reached more than 14 thousand!

Even the then President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko arrived to open a brand new plant in Cherkasy. Here is one of his quotes: “I am convinced that today we are witnessing the birth of the first Ukrainian car. We will come to our own brand, to our own configuration. I have no doubt about that." Viktor Andreevich then was cunning. Firstly, own brand auto already then celebrated 10 years, and secondly, on the same day, he signed a decree on joining the WTO without a transition period. This "black" decree of Yushchenko in "Bogdan" is still remembered.

New factory immediately began to produce cars under the brand name "Bogdan" and even develop their own versions on the Lada platform.

But in the fall, the financial crisis of 2008 broke out. Sales in all markets began to fall, and in Ukraine they simply collapsed. The devaluation of the currency was exacerbated by a sharp decrease in duties on foreign cars and the lack of support from the state. The next "surprise" was presented by Hyundai, which decided not to produce its cars in Cherkasy. The plant was left with only one partner - the Russian AvtoVAZ.

Meanwhile, the corporation's foreign currency loans, which at that time reached $500 million and invested in the construction of car factories, at the moment turned into a heavy burden and did not give an opportunity to develop. In April 2009, the Bogdan corporation stops distributing the KIA brand, and the Cherkasy Bus plant leaves the Bogdan orbit.

But the Bogdan corporation finds a way out and decides to organize a full-scale production of cars from the Chinese company JAC. Moreover, deliveries of these models are planned not only to Ukraine, but also to Russia, Kazakhstan, and later to Europe. Bogdan quickly launches full-scale production of JAC, as well as the assembly of another brand - Great Wall.

The portfolio of the corporation replenishes Chinese Lifan.

bus factory in Lutsk is also looking for new niches and actually "cuts through" a window to Europe. A joint production of Bogdan trolleybuses is launched in the Czech Republic and Poland. On the eve of the Euro-2012 championship, the Bogdan corporation signs a memorandum with MAN on the production of tourist and airport buses.

In 2012, the time comes for trade wars with Russia, from which everyone suffered Ukrainian producers. The fatal blow was dealt by the so-called recycling fee, which was obliged to pay all importers, despite the operation of the Free Trade Zone. Ukrainian cars immediately became uncompetitive in comparison with the products Russian factories. Bogdan began to lose the large Russian market and again reduce production.

And then there was the Maidan, the annexation of Crimea, the war in the Donbass, the devaluation of the hryvnia by 3 times and the severance of all business contacts with Russia. The Cherkasy plant assembled the last sets and finally stopped in the summer of 2014.

The new collapse of the Ukrainian market to 46,000 cars in 2015 left no chance for the plant to survive at the expense of the domestic market. The Russian market turned out to be closed, and transit to Kazakhstan and Central Asia was problematic.

But even in such conditions, the management of the corporation did not lose heart. In the most difficult conditions, a bet was made on their own production of military equipment. In the shortest possible time, a whole family of Ukrainian armored vehicles Bars is being created in Cherkassy. They were developed from scratch by their own design bureau, which they managed to save. A year later, Bars successfully passes the tests. In addition, the Bogdan corporation is mastering the production of all-wheel drive ambulances, kung for army equipment and other technology dual purpose.

The Lutsk plant "Bogdan Motors" was also able to stabilize the situation and successfully delivered trolleybuses to Poland, was the first in Ukraine to produce an electric bus, switched to new environmental regulations Euro 5, and recently even announced a new recruitment.

As you can see, over the past 12 years, the history of the Bogdan corporation has known both ups and downs, but the main thing is that key enterprises have survived, and even found their place in the new market realities. Yes, the volumes are no longer the same, and brand new cars do not leave the gates of factories every minute - as it was before. But they are not used to relying on the past and looking for the guilty in Bogdan, but still rely only on their own strength. The corporation is confident that the revival of Ukraine will begin precisely with industrial production, with the creation of jobs and the production of its own products. And not every state can produce cars. Ukraine can still do it.

And the corporation's management is still looking for new solutions and will definitely find them. There will be more better times at the corporation "Bogdan". There will also be new "Bogdans" to travel on the roads. And there will be thousands of new jobs. Corporation "Bogdan" is accustomed to difficulties. But only the one who walks will master the road!

When choosing a car, a person pays attention, first of all, to price category. Cars in a low price category have high demand in the automotive markets of our country and neighboring countries. These demand options include Bogdan 2110.

In December 2009, the Bogdan company (Ukraine) began delivering the car to the automotive markets of our country. These cars quickly occupied the market segment that was freed up after the production of VAZ 2110 cars by the Russian company was discontinued. Let's see what Bogdan 2110 is? The owners' reviews called it the "improved ten". Indeed, there are many similarities in the Bogdan 2110 and VAZ 2110 cars. The characteristics indicated in technical passport, indicate the presence of a system electronic injection fuel, mechanical five-speed gearbox gear shifting, engine capacity is 1600 ml. The engine is available in two versions - with eight and sixteen valves. Bogdan is a car for consumers with a budget of 300-400 thousand rubles. This price category also includes cars of the Priora brands of the Volga Automobile Plant, some ZAZ models, as well as Deo Nexia.

Low gasoline consumption (only about 7.2 - 7.5 liters per 100 km), sufficient ground clearance, comfortable and roomy interior, ergonomic design - all this distinguishes Bogdan 2110. Customer reviews also testify in favor of the Ukrainian transformation of the well-known "tens" ( Lada 2110 received such a nickname among the people). This car has a front axle drive, due to this it is characterized by good handling. It also has good dynamism. This model equipped volumetric trunk for 450 l. is 16.5 cm. The engine has variations with a power of 80 and 89 Horse power. The volume of the fuel tank is 43 liters.

The body type of this vehicle is a sedan. He has five seats and has four doors. One may wonder how Bogdan 2110 differs from Lada (VAZ 2110). Reviews of the owners are similar in opinion that Bogdan is more playful compared to Lada. Drivers also note that a creak is often observed in the cabin, which, in principle, can easily be eliminated by lubricating the hooks. In the guise of Bogdan, in comparison with the VAZ 2110, new part- this is the company's icon, however, it does not cause positive feedback, as its design is not fully thought out and leaves much to be desired.

According to the manufacturers, 170 and 180 km / h is the maximum speed that Bogdan 2110 develops. Reviews from the owners of this car indicate that it is higher than stated and is 200 km / h. Acceleration time of the car to a speed of 100 km / h in accordance with technical specifications is 13.5 and 12.5 seconds for engines of modification 21101 and 21104, respectively.

Thus, Bogdan 2110 is a car that deserves attention. Its advantages, in addition to those listed, are also the availability of spare parts, ease of repair and budget cost. The car has a pleasant appearance and, as they say, is suitable for all occasions: in a feast, and in the world, and in good people.

Bogdan Corporation, known today primarily as a manufacturer of passenger vehicles, began its business by selling cars manufactured by Russian manufacturers. The company grew and expanded the range of products sold. In 1996, KIA was added to the list of sold brands, and three years later Bogdan became a distributor of Hyuindai. The entire model range is Bogdan.

First steps in production

In 1998, with the acquisition of the Cherkasy Bus enterprise, Bogdan got its own production facilities. With this acquisition, the next important step in the development of the company became possible. Just a year later, it was possible to establish the production of Bogdan buses, which were sold on the domestic market, and by 2003 they began to be sold outside of Ukraine.

At the turn of the century, the assembly of car kits from the Volga Automobile Plant was organized. At the same time, as part of the trend towards the development of its own production capacities, Lutsk Automobile Plant, on which six years later it was established modern production buses and trolleybuses.

This was preceded by the conclusion of an agreement with Isuzu Motors Limited that the Bogdan company received the right not only to produce Isuzu buses at its facilities, but also to sell them on the territory of Ukraine under its own Bogdan brand, and for export - under the Isuzu brand .

Creation of a corporation

The final date of the company's legal status as an industrial and financial corporation is February 22, 2005, when more than twenty separate divisions and legal entities voluntarily merged and became part of the Bogdan Corporation.

A good start to the new association was given by the measures taken by the government to protect the domestic automaker. The introduction of a tax on imported cars served as a good incentive for the development of both the SKD assembly of cars and the full cycle of production within the country.

The year 2007 was marked by the launch of tourist-class Bogdan buses in production. At that time, the export line of products in the CIS and neighboring countries accounted for half of the production volumes.

The following year, large-scale production of trucks was launched, and factories were opened on the territory of Ukraine in Cherkassy, one producing trucks and commercial vehicles and the second plant with a production line of passenger cars with a capacity of 120-150 thousand units per year. Successes are also observed in the serial production of modern trolleybuses.

In 2009 come true own developments of a serial batch of a light commercial vehicle Bogdan 2310 pick-up. The changes also affected the name, now it is PJSC Automobile Company Bogdan Motors and the capitalization of LuAZ ended, after which all assets were transferred to OJSC LuAZ. This enterprise produced the first all-terrain vehicle LuAZ 969.

The export of passenger cars began in 2010. A joint venture was established with the Czech company Cegelec to produce trolleybuses for the EU. In 2011, the production of small-class buses for based Hyundai, as well as a number of contracts for the distribution of passenger cars brands Lifan and Great Wall.
