The wiring harnesses of the front panel, the engine compartment and the rear harness of the “seven” are connected through fuse box VAZ 2107. In addition to connecting branches of electrical wiring, it performs important function overload and short circuit protection. Let's see what the fuse box is, where it is located and what each of its elements is responsible for.

Fuse box location

Most of the fuses that protect the electrical wiring of the "seven" are in a single block located under the hood of the car. In addition to fuses, the unit contains a group of relays that are responsible for turning on electrical appliances, for example, heated rear windows or headlights.

The VAZ 2107 mounting block is located under the hood near windshield opposite the passenger seat. Depending on the year of manufacture, the “sevens” were equipped with two types of fuse blocks: “old” and “new”. The designs of both types of blocks have slight differences, so their features and electrical circuits should be considered separately.

Important: regardless of the type of fuel supply (carburetor or injector), the schemes of one (old or new) type of fuse blocks of the “seven” are the same. Both types of blocks can be installed on injection and carburetor models.

Fuse diagram VAZ 2107 of the old sample

The "old" fuse box has 17 fuses. Each of them protects one or more electrical circuits. Purpose of the fuses:

Scheme of the fuse block VAZ 2107 of a new sample

On newer "sevens" a block with 17 fuses and 6 relays is installed. VAZ 2107 fuses on the “new” block protect the following electrical circuits and devices:

  1. Reversing lamps, heater fan, rear defroster warning lamp and relay, engine rear wiper and rear washer pump.
  2. Front wiper motor.
  3. Reserve nest.
  4. Reserve nest.
  5. Power supply for the heated rear window.
  6. Clock, cigarette lighter, power socket "carry".
  7. Signal and radiator fan.
  8. Turn signal lamps in emergency mode.
  9. "Foglights" and a relay that regulates the voltage of the on-board network.
  10. Dashboard lamps.
  11. Stop lamps.
  12. Right high beam headlight.
  13. Left high beam headlight, high beam warning lamp.
  14. Marker lights (rear right, front left), room and engine compartment lighting.
  15. Marker lights (rear left, front right), lamps for lighting the “glove box” and cigarette lighter.
  16. Dipped beam (right lamp).
  17. Dipped beam (left lamp).

The relays of the new unit perform the following functions:

  1. Rear window heating relay.
  2. Headlight wiper and washer relay.
  3. Signal relay.
  4. Cooling fan relay.
  5. high beam relay.
  6. Low beam relay.

Features of the wiring diagram of models with an injector

The fuse block VAZ 2107 (injector) does not differ from the block on the carburetor “seven”. Injection models simply equipped additional block relays and fuses installed in the cabin under the “glove compartment”. The block includes three relays - the “main”, the fuel pump relay and the fan relay. It also has fuses that protect the main relay, engine ECU and electric fuel pump.

Replacing fuses

There are two things you need to do before replacing fuses:

  • turn off the ignition;
  • disconnect the "mass" from the battery.

Otherwise, a short circuit may occur during operation.

The procedure is as follows:

  1. remove the cover of the fuse box by pressing the latches;
  2. inspect the fuses and determine the one in need of replacement (this can be seen from a broken fusible thread or black marks from its combustion);
  3. remove the fuse with pliers or special tweezers;
  4. insert a new fuse rated for the same current;
  5. close the lid.

Adviсe:

1. On reverse side cover of the new PSU indicates the location of the fuses. On an old-style power supply, fuses are simply numbered from left to right.

2. It is better to check the performance of the fuses not in a visual way, but with an ohmmeter or continuity.

Replacing the Fog Fuse

If the fog lights stop burning, you should check the fuse installed in the passenger compartment. A screwdriver is required to replace it. The replacement procedure is as follows:

Replacing the fuse box with a VAZ 2107

VAZ 2107 fuses (injector and carburetor) are installed in standard interchangeable blocks, so replacing them is not difficult. The PSU can only be changed to a block of the same type (old or new). It is done like this:

  • disconnect the "mass" from the battery;
  • dismantle the air filter housing;
  • undock the wiring harness connected to the fuse box, which is located at the bottom of the PSU;

Advice: color marking, applied to the PSU case, allows you not to confuse the wires in places even if you do not first mark them.

  • dismantle the shelf located in the cabin under the “torpedo”;
  • remove the “glove box” case;
  • undock the second wiring harness from the PSU;
  • unscrew the PSU mounting bolts (the right bolt is hidden, it is not immediately visible);
  • dismantle the fuse block;
  • install a new fuse block;
  • tighten the fastening bolts;
  • dock the harness coming from the passenger compartment;
  • install the body of the “glove box” and the shelf under the “torpedo”;
  • connect the wiring harness under the hood to the PSU;
  • install the air filter housing;
  • connect ground to the battery.

Checking and replacing the VAZ 2107 relay

Like fuses, it is better to change the relay with the ground disconnected from the battery. It is worth checking the health of the relay after checking the corresponding fuses.

Relays are easily removed from seats. Start checking the relay's performance by inspecting the "legs" (contacts). If they are oxidized, it is necessary to clean them with sandpaper or a knife.

There are two ways to check if the relay is working. The easiest is to replace it with a new one that is known to work. If after that the operation of the electrical appliance is restored, the old relay was faulty. No - we must continue to search for the cause.

You can also apply power to the relay winding and use a continuity test or an ohmmeter to check whether the necessary contacts close (open). A broken relay must be replaced. Repair of the relay is not structurally provided.

Today we will consider the location of the fuses in VAZ cars of the tenth family, namely models 2110, 21102, 21103, 2111, 2112. We will also show where the fuses and relays are located on the diagram and discuss the purpose of each of them and how to replace fuses with your own hands. Let's touch on the most common problems with fuses from the owners of these cars, diagnostic and replacement methods.

I would like to say that car electrics, in particular, fuses and relays in the VAZ 2110, 21102, 21103, 2111, 2112 are quite reliable. The service life depends on the operating conditions and timely diagnostics and replacement with high-quality components.

Let's figure out what fuses are for in a car. First of all, they are responsible for the safety of wiring and other machine systems. It is important to understand that each specific fuse is only responsible for its task, and in the event of a short circuit or failure, ignition is practically excluded. A specific fuse blows and this does not cause a chain failure of other systems.

Depending on the problem of failure of any component or part of the car for which the electrician is responsible, it is necessary to understand whether it is possible to operate the car with this malfunction or not. In the rules traffic a list of faults is written, with which it is impossible to operate the car. If you find, for example, that the headlights have failed or the wipers do not work at all, you should immediately fix the problem. Well, you can drive a car with broken windows. By the way, if someone suddenly needs a quality website for business, then these guys make good websites WebFormata.ru

VAZ 2115- a fairly common car model that can often be found on the streets of Russian cities. When something goes wrong and stops working electrical appliance, this causes inconvenience to the driver and passengers. At serious malfunctions movement may become impossible or dangerous. For example, if the headlights stop working at night or the car stops starting.

Most of the causes of such problems lie in the fuse box. It is necessary to periodically check the fuses and VAZ-2115 relays, clean and replace parts that have become unusable. About which fuses are responsible for what in the "fifteenth" and how to solve many problems with the electrician will be discussed in this article.

Relay mounting block

The mounting block is located under the hood, not far from the windshield.

K1 - headlight cleaner relay.
If the headlight cleaners do not turn on, check fuses F1 and F7. Inspect the wiper mechanism, it may have dust or a stone flying into it, damaging or jamming its action.

K2 - relay-interrupter of direction indicators and alarm.
If your turn signals or emergency gang stop working, check fuses F2 and F16, this is a relay. If the "emergency gang" works, but the turn signals do not, check the turn-on knob, its contacts and connector. If only the emergency gang does not work, check the power button, contacts and wiring. Don't forget to check your turn signal bulbs. One of the headlights may have short circuit. Carefully inspect the connectors, as well as the wiring for damage to the insulation.

If the turn signals are unstable, intermittent, this may be due to poor contacts in the mounting block, as well as burnout or damage to its tracks. Contact can disappear not only in the block, but also in the headlights themselves, as well as on the way to them. If the wiring changed, or something was done with the wires, check them first.

K3 - wiper relay.

If your wipers stop working, first check the relays and contacts. The steering column switch could also stop working or its contacts could oxidize. Inspect the mechanism of the cleaners, due to poor tightening, the nuts fixing the mechanism rails could be unscrewed, or a foreign object could get in that interferes with their normal operation.

The motor could burn out, you can check its performance by applying voltage directly from the 12 V battery to it. There is another fuse near the motor that protects it from overheating. It is located either on the trapezoid bracket or in the motor itself, depending on its type.

K4 - lamp health monitoring relay.

K5 - power window relay.
If your window does not go down or up with an electric window lifter, check fuse F6 and this relay. If the cable-type window lift mechanism lowers normally, but lifts hard, it is necessary to lubricate the cables and glass guides silicone grease. To do this, you need to remove the trim from the door and get to the mechanism. The motor could stop working, in this case it is necessary to replace it.

Sometimes a blow on the door helps to close the glass in order to bring the motor to life for a while. To disassemble the power window mechanism, you need to unscrew the bolts securing the brackets and disconnect the glass itself from the mechanism.

If only one power window does not work, the problem may be in the power button and its contacts.

K6 - horn relay.
If your “beep” stops working, check fuse F5, relay. The signal may not work due to the lack of contact in the steering wheel. Remove the steering column cover and look at the serviceability of the plates and contacts. Turn the steering wheel to the right and to the left, it is possible that the mechanism sticks when turning or the contacts are displaced. One bolt on the casing fixes the position of the bracket for mounting the switches, the second fixes the casing.

For the signal to work, you need to securely fix them, setting them in such a way that the contacts close when the switch is pressed. The contacts are located above the steering shaft.
The design of the contacts in the steering wheel could also be broken. Inspect the mechanism, 3 screws and springs should reliably open and close the circuit.

K7 - rear window heating relay.

If the rear window fogs up and the heating stops working, check the fuses F4 and F7, the relay, the contacts of the heating elements on the glass, which may have burned or oxidized, and the switch button. Heating uses high current, it will not be superfluous to check the tracks on the mounting block board near the indicated fuses and relays. The wire from the switch to the rear window could fray and become one of the reasons.

K8 - high beam relay.
If only one high beam headlight has stopped working for you, check one of the fuses F14 or F15, and the lamp in the problem headlight. Inspect the headlight connector, its contacts. It is better to call them, then the problem will be easier to find. Check the stalk high beam switch, its contacts. When moving towards you, the headlights should flash high beam, when switching away from you, switch the dipped beam to high beam. If the distant blinks, but does not switch, most likely it is in it.

K9 - low beam relay.

If your low beam in one of the headlights has stopped working, check one of the fuses F12 or F13, and the lamp in the problem headlight. Check the headlight and low beam switch button if both headlights are not on. Contacts in the headlights can also be the cause of the lack of light.

Circuit breakers

F1 (10 A) - rear fog lights, their inclusion lamp on the panel.
Headlight cleaner motors (switch on).
headlight washer motor.
If your rear fog lamps do not work, check the button for turning them on. At connecting PTF usually they put a fuse, which is located directly on the wire behind the button. Check it out. Check lamps. PTFs burn only when the dipped beam is on, this should be taken into account when searching for the cause.

If the headlight cleaner or washer does not work, see information about relay K1, and also check the fluid level in the washer reservoir and its pump.

F2 (10 A) - turn signals, their relay-breaker and alarm.
Alarm lamp.
See information about the K2 relay, the main problems and solutions are described there.

F3 (7.5 A) - interior lighting.

If your brake lights stop working, check the fuse, although it is unlikely to be the problem. In models VAZ-2114, VAZ-2115 rear lamps- it's a disease. The point is the board on which the lamps are installed. It is solved by replacing this board with a new one, in this case it is not known how long the new one will work. The simplest solution is to solder the wires to the lamps directly, or replace the connectors with connectors from another VAZ model, for example 2106.

If it's not the board, check the brake light switch (frog) located at the brake pedal. It can only be the case if none of the brake lights are on, even on the spoiler. If the signal on the spoiler is on, and the rest are off, it's most likely the board rear lights. Also check the chips that connect to this board and their contacts. In the event of failure, these connectors must be replaced, or the contacts inside them be bent.

The VAZ-2114 model has two stop lamps, and the VAZ-2115 model has four. The lamps themselves may fail individually, you just may not notice it.
In some cases, it may be the wiring under the dashboard.
If you are not versed in electrics, contact a car service, in most of them they have long learned to deal with such problems and it will not be difficult for the master to find a malfunction.

F4 (20 A) - portable lamp.
Rear window heating.
See information about relay K7.

F5 (20 A) - sound signal.

Radiator cooling fan.
ABOUT sound signal see information about relay K6.
If the fan does not work, first check the performance of its motor. To do this, connect it directly to the battery. The fan should spin. If it works, check the coolant temperature sensor, its contacts. Maybe it's the thermostat. Do not allow the engine to overheat in the direction of the arrow more than 100 degrees.

If the sensor is defective, or a different type of sensor is installed, the arrow on the dashboard may show an erroneous temperature. Overheating is accompanied by its boiling, seething or the release of vapors from under the lid expansion tank cool.

The reason may be in electronic unit control and in the temperature settings for switching on and off the fan. When the wires are disconnected from the sensor on the upper pipe, with the ignition on, the fan should work. It speaks of correctness electrical circuit.
Also check the wiring that comes from the fan and all connectors. The wires could fray against the body, and the contacts in the connectors could melt or oxidize.

F6 (30 A) - power windows .
See information about relay K5.

F7 (30 A) - stove motor.

Windshield washer and headlight cleaner motors (in their operating mode).
Cigarette lighter.
Glove box lamp.
Heated rear window (winding).
Heater operation problems. If the stove only works at the 3rd speed, and does not turn on at the first two, most likely the additional resistor has burned out, through which voltage is supplied to the stove motor, or the contact on its connector has disappeared. The resistor is located above the gas pedal and looks like a plate.

If the stove does not work in any of the positions, check the switch itself on the panel and its contacts, the stove motor could also burn out or its brushes could be worn out. To measure the voltage, look at the wiring or change the stove motor, you need to unscrew the stove fan cover, which is located under the hood. When installing a new motor, there may not be enough room to put it in place as an assembly. In this case, try either putting it on its side and then turning it, or disassemble it first into 2 parts, and then assemble it on the spot. New motor the assembly costs about 800-1000 rubles.

The problem may be in bad contact mass, check the nut under the panel that secures the motor. She is his contact on the body.

F8 (7.5 A) - fog lamp on the right side.
F9 (7.5 A) - fog lamp on the left side.
Check the lamps in the headlights, the button on the panel. Fog lights are switched on only in conjunction with the dipped beam when the ignition is on. Take this into account when diagnosing.
Check PTF relay installed under the hood. Usually mounted on a partition near the air intake.
Check the wire connectors and connectors for the lamps in the headlights.

F10 (7.5 A) - dimensions on the left side.

Lamp of inclusion of dimensions (on the panel).
License plate lighting.
Hood lamp.
Illumination of the dashboard, cigarette lighter.

F11 (7.5 A) - dimensions on the right side.
If they don't work parking lights on the one hand, check one of these fuses and of course the lamps on the non-working side. Also check the lamp mounting connectors, the size switch button, its contacts and wiring.
If only the tail lights are not working, check if the brake lights are working. Maybe it's in the taillight board or connectors. See also fuse F3.
Check relay K4, which is responsible for the health of the lamps, as well as the absence of damage to the tracks on the mounting block.

F12 (7.5 A) - Dipped beam in right headlight.
F13 (7.5 A) - Dipped beam in the left headlight.

Power fuses

Block power fuses and the relay is located on the bar under the panel (torpedo), at the feet front passenger, for access you need to bend the plastic sidebar.

Depending on the model of the car, the appearance of the block may differ slightly from that shown in the photo.

The lowest relay and fuse- fuel pump.
When the ignition is turned on, the fuel pump turns on for 5 seconds to create pressure in the system.
Check the ground and contacts of this unit, and also inspect the wiring. There may be a broken wire from the relay to the pump, which runs along the floor under the casing.

topmost relay- Radiator cooling fan.
If it is OK, see fuse F5.

Mounting block connection diagram

Most serious electrical problems are solved by replacing the fuse and relay mounting block. The price of such a block in the collection is about 1500-2000 rubles. Usually, due to oxidation of contacts, current surges, moisture ingress after washing, dust, dirt and other factors, printed circuit board tracks and contacts turn green or black, and simply fail.

If your VAZ 2115 is several years old and nothing has been done with the block, then it is very likely to see all the problems described above when it is removed. Replacing the unit with a new one will avoid many future problems. The electrics will work as they should, most likely even better. It is not uncommon for devices that have never worked before to start working after replacement. Drivers get used to the car and do not know how it should be in a fully operational condition.

Therefore, when serious problems I advise you not to save and change the unit. Also, it would not be superfluous to replace the steering column switches - it will save a lot of nerves and time in the future, and it will just be nice to drive a serviceable car.

Another important point in case of electrical malfunctions of the VAZ-2115 - the presence good contact on the body. The block is grounded to the body of the car and uses it as a second wire. When loosening the nut that fixes the terminal of this contact, any oddities in the behavior of the devices can begin. If there are interruptions and unstable work any nodes, check the reliability of this ground to the chassis.

Do you often have electrical problems? What can you suggest ways to solve such problems? Maybe there was some a special case, write about it, it will be useful to other motorists.
