The seats were made with an eye on sports coupes, this is evidenced by the size of the backrest, as well as the angle of inclination. In principle, "ladles" would not be accepted here, for their hard landing. But such a profile character, which combines both a comfortable ride and convenient placement at high speeds, will suit many. Traditionally, a lot of questions arose on the back sofa, indeed the car can hardly be called a family car. Still, the third passenger will be constrained, because the tunnel sticks out almost to the very pillow. Legroom is basically non-existent. Therefore, the only one who will be comfortable there is the child.

The luggage compartment boasts a modest 460 liters, given the class of medium SUWs - this is quite acceptable, although it could have been a little more space for luggage.

The car is presented with six options for a four-cylinder engine: four petrol and two diesel. The basic equipment received the simplest of them - 1.5 35 TFSI. For those who love a measured ride, this engine will be more than enough. For a drive, it is better to choose a two-liter 45 TFSI quattro S tronic engine.

It is planned that a diesel engine with a capacity of 190 HP will appear later, and the presented versions of the engines will be put on sale gradually.
The characteristics of the technical capabilities of the second generation Audi Ku3 also depend on which gearbox the car is running on. It can be a six-speed manual or a seven-speed S tronic robot. Unlike the Q5, this car has the choice of drive: front-wheel drive modification or all-wheel drive version of the quattro. The developers did not introduce the quattro ultra system into the Ku-three, as everyone did in the same Ku-fifth.
The quattro system, powered by a Torsen differential, guarantees optimum torque distribution when braking. This improves vehicle directional stability and prevents skidding when cornering at high speeds. Thanks to this system, the threat of an uncontrolled car as a result of loss of traction is reduced to zero.

The second generation Q3 is produced on the MQB platform with all its technical capabilities. Experts note that for compact class cars, the presence of assistants that prevent a secondary collision is of great importance. In addition to the active safety system, MQB also has passive assistants in the form of a balanced distribution of energy-absorbing zones.
The standard version offers a classic McPherson front suspension and a four-link rear suspension. It provides a smooth ride, copes well with bumps. In the sports package, the suspension is stiffer, which, in combination with low-profile tires, is noticeably noticeable to passengers. In the top version, the stiffness of the shock absorbers is automatically adjusted with the choice of driving mode. At the same time, the nature of the behavior of a car on the road will also depend on which wheels it will move on: the larger the dimension, the more rigid the suspension will be, despite the selected mode.

Modern technologies

In addition to the basic digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpid can be installed. The information necessary for the driver is displayed individually on the panel.

The database already contains an application for the use of digital technology, expressed in the pre-installed MMI Radio Plus system. You can expand the functionality of the car with MMI Navigation plus, and this is already a 10.1-inch screen and many additional functions: navigator, WiFi hotspot with up to 8 devices, remote control of vehicle functions and Audi connect. Sitting in a brand new Audi Q3, you can get real-time traffic, search for the best parking and gas stations, and get a description of your destination. When installing the Audi connect Navigation & Infotainment system with the Google Earth integration service, the driver gets access to his e-mail, Twitter page, can read the news, receive warnings about dangers on the way. Voice control of the multimedia system is provided, and not only issuing commands, but also receiving clarifying questions.
The updated Audi Ku 3 connects to the myAudi mobile app, thanks to which you can transfer data from your smartphone to the MMI system, as well as easily find your car in the parking lot. To the left of the gear selector is a mobile phone compartment: MMI works with iOS and Android systems and, when a smartphone is connected, controls its functions using the Apple CarPlay or Android Auto applications.
Optionally, the Bang & Olufsen Sound System with 15 speakers is available for order, giving 3D sound with a total power of 680 watts. In the basic version, two USB ports are provided to listen to music from an MP3 player, USB drive or smartphone. The standard version of the new Ku-tri has six speakers: four in the instrument panel and two in the C-pillars.

In addition to infotainment systems, there are many assistants. Among them is the Adaptive Driving Assistant, which is installed on cars with a robotic gearbox. This assistant combines the functions of adaptive cruise control and a lane keeping system. This function is especially necessary when idle in traffic jams and traffic jams: the driver can rest, the car will do everything itself.

The updated Q3 also received a modern Audi Drive Select system, which allows you to choose one of five driving modes: Efficiency, Auto, Comfort, Individual, Dynamic. They change the response of pressing the accelerator, the pliability of the steering wheel, the stiffness of the shock absorbers. Of the important assistants are parking sensors, an all-round visibility system, an emergency braking function (works on pedestrians and cyclists), a safe door opening system that receives data from two radar sensors about the approach of another vehicle.

Against the backdrop of all digital devices, analog cruise control stands out. The handle of his control remained the same. The only change is the angle of its turn. Like the MMI screen, it is turned 10 degrees towards the driver.
The new Audi Q3 attracts not only with its striking design, but also with its wide functionality. This is a car for a large family, and for a single driver. Thanks to numerous assistants, it shows a high level of safety even in difficult road conditions.
