In various cities of Russia, many automotive enterprises operate, many of which are known far beyond its borders. In the list of the most powerful production complexes operating in the field of machine building, one of the first places is occupied by IZHAVTO - a plant in Izhevsk, located on Avtozavodskaya Street.

This enterprise is relatively young - it began its work in 1965. However, during its existence, Izhevsk car factory managed to establish itself as a powerful site for the production of machines, which is one of the main ones in Russia. The Izhevsk Automobile Plant incorporates specialized workshops, the work of which together ensures the full cycle of creating a car - from stamping and casting parts to painting, assembly and equipment.

Izhevsk Automobile Plant, whose official website can be easily found on the Internet, constantly updates its product line. This is ensured by the presence of high-tech imported equipment, which makes it possible to automate the process of stamping parts and assembling cars as much as possible. Automotive Enterprise Izhevsk, whose vacancies can be found by phone, has a stamping shop for 37 lines total power 300,000 car kits annually. Welding shops of the plant are equipped with modern automated robots Japanese and German made.

Izhevsk Automobile Complex, on the website of which you can find full information about him, also has a workshop equipped with twelve painting robots made in Germany. The equipment used allows you to paint the car simultaneously in 20 colors.

In 2012, the IZHAVTO plant began large-scale work to increase efficiency production process, which is based on the Japanese philosophy of "kaizen" - the constant obtaining of the maximum effective result at the lowest cost.

IzhAvto (Izhevsk Automobile Plant) is a Russian automobile manufacturer located in Izhevsk. Previously, it was part of the Izhmash defense plant. Controlled by AvtoVAZ through subsidiary"United automotive group».

The emergence of the Izhevsk Automobile Plant was due to the fact that by the mid-60s, less than 150 thousand were produced in the USSR. cars in year. There were 4 personal cars per 1000 inhabitants of the country. In this regard, there was an urgent need for comfortable and available cars. Moreover, the country at that moment possessed an infrastructure that could potentially ensure the development of such a complex industry as mass production cars. This is the availability of: raw materials, industrial potential, large capacity domestic market, the corresponding level of scientific, engineering and technical personnel. Thus, there were all the prerequisites to solve the problem of building a plant that produces a mass passenger car at the level of world standards in the shortest possible time.

Izhevsk was not chosen by chance as a production site. The favorable geo-economic position of Udmurtia, as well as the concentration of large industrial and defense enterprises in the region, became decisive in the decision of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on the location of the organization of a new automobile plant. So, in 1965, as part of the state enterprise IZHMASH, automotive production- Branch No. 1.

The car plant was built in record time: in the middle of 1965, excavation, and already in December 1966, the first products appeared - Moskvich-408 cars. This model laid the foundation for the IZH brand, popular in the USSR and abroad. At the beginning and further up to 1967, all parts and components of the car were supplied by the AZLK plant (Moscow). Since 1967, the Izhevsk Automobile Plant has been mastering the production own developments. So, in 1967, the Moskvich-412, designed in Izhevsk and being a development of the Moskvich-408 model, rolled off the assembly line. In 1971, the model range of the Izhevsk Automobile Plant was replenished with the COMBI model - the first "liftback" (or "notchback") in the USSR and the first in the USSR light commercial van and pickup trucks.

Simultaneously with the development of a new model range from 1967 to 1971, their own production lines were put into operation: pressing and welding, body painting installations, conveyor lines.

Throughout the 1990s, the automobile plant was in a protracted crisis, as it could not market conditions replace on your own produced since 1967, the outdated IZH-412 / -2125 / -2715 family new series light and light commercial vehicles ORBIT (later Oda). The transition in 2000 to a new owner made it possible to improve the financial condition of the automobile plant and begin the development of a new model range of cars.

In a short period of time, the plant's staff introduces, as part of full-scale production, such models as ODA 4x4 (all-wheel drive version of the ODA hatchback), FABULA (station wagon based on ODA), masters production LADA cars 2106 and LADA.

As part of the project for organizing a licensed assembly KIA cars started in 2004 deep modernization production and introduction of new technologies. At the same time, the plant made the transition to new standards of quality, organization and production management. However, due to the growth in 2008-2009 of the cost of car kits purchased for the production of KIA models, and the general decline in demand for cars, the Izhevsk Automobile Plant was forced to stop the assembly line in May 2009.

On May 4, 2010, an external management plan was approved, providing for the resumption of the plant's activities, leasing part of its property, measures to reduce the cost of work, collection of receivables, and the sale of part of the property not related to the main activity.

On August 3, 2010, the Izhevsk Automobile Plant began the reactivation of the equipment of the main production shops (stamping, welding, painting, assembling). At the end of August, the gradual filling of the technology for the production of LADA and cars began.

September 7, 2010 Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, President - Chairman of the Board of Sberbank of Russia German Gref and President of AvtoVAZ OJSC Igor Komarov visited the Izhevsk Automobile Plant, which resumed car production, as part of a working visit to Udmurtia.

In April 2011, by order of OAG LLC, the production of LADA 2107 cars began at the automobile plant. Under this project, the recruitment of personnel and the transition of the plant to a two-shift mode of operation began, now more than 5,000 people work at the plant. Already in October, the 25,000th car LADA 2107 rolled off the assembly line of the enterprise.
In August 2011, the car plant team reached the target value in terms of production rate - the production of 10,000 cars per month.
On October 27, 2011, the transaction for the acquisition by AVTOVAZ of a 100% stake in United Automobile Group LLC took place. The transaction was made in accordance with the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding on the long-term development and modernization of IzhAvto, signed in December 2010 in the presence of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin by the General Director of the Russian Technologies State Corporation Sergey Chemezov, the President of AVTOVAZ Igor Komarov and the President of Sberbank of Russia German Gref.
April 17, 2012 off the assembly line of the Izhevsk Automobile Plant last car LADA 2107. In total, 42.5 thousand classic rear-wheel drive sedans were produced in Izhevsk.

On July 25, 2012, the Izhevsk Automobile Plant officially began production of LADA Granta cars. The first to roll off the assembly line were cars in the “standard” configuration; in September, the assembly of Granta cars in the “norm” configuration began.

LADA Granta is produced in Izhevsk according to the full cycle: welding, painting and assembly technology. The welding complex is capable of producing two types of bodies: sedan and hatchback. Chassis and body welding is carried out using 28 robots in an automatic line.

The quality assurance system at the production of LADA Granta in Izhevsk was developed in accordance with the requirements of international quality standards ISO 9000 and the AVTOVAZ quality policy, which also takes into account the quality methods of the Renault-Nissan Alliance.

On September 17, 2012, the last car of the classic LADA family, the station wagon, rolled off the assembly line of the Izhevsk Automobile Plant. The history of "classics" in Russia is over. For 11 years (the production of LADA 2106 in Izhevsk started in 2001), the volume of production of the Izhevsk "classic" exceeded 380 thousand cars and 40 thousand disassembled series for export to the CIS countries.

In 2012, the Izhevsk Automobile Plant produced 48,573 vehicles, including 24,074 LADA Granta. The plans for 2013 include the production of 60,000 LADA Granta cars in the "standard" and "norm" configurations, as well as work to modernize and improve production efficiency.
The enterprise development project provides for the phased development Renault models and Nissan - the potential total production volume at the Izhevsk site exceeds 300,000 vehicles per year.

automotive history Izhevsk plant started in 1965. But the history of the creation of the IzhMash association began almost three centuries ago. In 1763, a plant for the production of anchors for river and sea vessels was built on the Izh River. In 1807, the Izhevsk Arms Plant was founded. In 1933, the first motorcycles of the Izh brand appeared.
On December 12, 1966, the first Izhevsk Moskvich-408, which was an exact copy of the Moscow one, left the assembly line. At first, components and assemblies were supplied from Moscow.

In December 1967 appeared new model- Moskvich-412, which already differed from the Moscow base model. The differences were both external and technical. The Izhevsk version had a reinforced body by connecting the front and rear spars into a single whole. Later, all serial 412th Izhs began to be equipped with removable URAL radios, which at that time were considered very reliable and of high quality. This radio had a built-in power supply and could work autonomously, outside the car. URALs were not available for free sale, they were put only on Izhevsk Moskvich. Plus, the Izhevsk 412th Moskvich was different high quality assembly and, as a result, was more reliable than the Moscow "twin". All these advantages made the Izhevsk 412th more attractive to buyers. This model lasted on the assembly line until 1994. (hatchback IZH-2125 was produced until 1997)
In 1968, the first Moskvich-434 van left the assembly line in Izhevsk to carry cargo weighing up to 600 kg.
In 1973, it was replaced by IZH-2715 Heel, which became the most massive Soviet van.

In 1970, IZH-MASH made an attempt to create the world's first parquet SUV. History is cruelly silent about this fact, but it was at IZH-MASH that the idea and the first prototypes were born parquet all-wheel drive SUV or as they say now crossover. .

In 1973, a new model was released - IZH-2125 "Combi", which was created on the basis of Moskvich-412. Since the release of this model in the title Izhevsk cars the word Moskvich disappeared.

In 1984, the Orbita model IZH-2126 appeared. In 2003, it changed its name to ODA. The station wagon was called Fabula. The designers decided to abandon the popular at the time front wheel drive, which was successfully applied on the VAZ-2108 and Moskvich-2141 models. However, IZH-2126 unfortunately did not people's car, unlike its predecessors, and he was destined to become the last in the IZH lineup. Attempts to revive it in the early 2000s failed. Changing the name to "Oda" and a partially galvanized body (which all Soviet motorists dreamed of), as well as the release of the Fabula station wagon (based on the new Oda) were already a very belated decision. There was even an all-wheel drive version of the Fabula with injection engine 1.6 from VAZ Niva. Not bad, by the way, turned out to be an all-terrain vehicle, and if the designers had worked on appearance, then it would be quite possible to revive the IZH brand. But it was already 2005 in the yard - cars of foreign automakers for every taste were sold with might and main in the country. Compete with them on old platform IZH-Orbits (Odes) was already meaningless. .

After the completion of the production of IZH-2126, only the heel of IZH-2717, the heir to IZH-2715, remained on the assembly line. Later it was replaced by the new Izhevsk boot IZH-27175, created on the basis of the VAZ-21043. Plus, the conveyor assembly was already in full swing at IzhMash Korean KIA spectrum.

In early 2009, at the height of the crisis, IzhMash reduced production volumes. In the spring the situation became almost critical and in August 2009 the plant was declared bankrupt. Over 5,000 employees were made redundant with a two-month benefit However, in September there were reports that it was planned to resume production of Kia Spectra cars. This car was previously known as Kia Sephia (the hatchback was called Kia Shuma) and was produced in South Korea from 1993 to 2004. IN this moment Izhevsk Automobile Plant belongs to VAZ. In 2014, a pilot batch of the model was produced at the facilities of IZHmash Lada Vesta.

Enterprise history.

April 1966 marks the beginning of the famous car brand IZH, because it was then that a serious decision was made to produce cars on Izhmash factory conveyors. In general, October 21, 1965 is officially considered the date of birth of the enterprise, because it was then that the preparation of the production itself began, and, accordingly, it gave rise to the company itself.

First, a legend was put on the conveyor domestic auto industry- "Moskvich-408". The Moscow plant named after Lenin Komsomol provided components for production. Already on December 12 of the following year, the first production model, the Moskvich-408, with the IZH emblem decorating the radiator, rolled off the assembly line. Interestingly, by the end of the year, about 300 such cars were produced from the assembly line, and over the entire period, the plant produced about 4,000 samples of this model, which were originally "Izhevsk" production.

Renault Corporation, which was the company's general contractor, expanded the scope of equipment supplies more and more, attracting the interests of other companies. French-made equipment was purchased, as well as Japanese company"Kumatsu". Experts from other countries, including Germany, Italy and Sweden, were also involved in the development.

The company has been operating in full force after the commissioning of the main workshops, because then about 500 units were involved various equipment. The conveyor lines lasted for tens of kilometers, and robots and auto lines helped in painting the cars, which had a positive result.

Already in December 1967 was released next model- Moskvich-412, and 10 years later, the millionth car of this brand rolled off the assembly line of the Izhevsk plant. After some time, the enterprise put two new models to the test of the state, they were such famous brands, as 2125 "Combi", as well as 2715, designed for the transport of goods.

The Moskvich-434 van was produced from the assembly lines of the plant in 1968-73, and after that it was replaced by IZH-2715 various types body. Among the population, these cars have gained great confidence, because they differed in the huge quality of the mechanisms, and in general this model was at that time the only cargo runabout.

The designers of this enterprise developed in 1972 a progressive model of an SUV called IZH-14, but the problem this production was that a full-fledged release was never carried out. The very idea was fully implemented by the VAZ manufacturers. The design bureau also developed subcompact models IZH-13 and IZH-19, but old reason their serial releases were also not implemented.

In the early 1980s, cars manufactured by IZH received new look, as new designs of brakes, engine, electrical wiring and lighting have been improved.

Four years later, a new progressive model, the production model IZH-2126, passed all the tests, and already in 1991, an completing model of this sample, called the Orbit, was released. It was a model with a five-door body, as well as an engine from the classic "six". Since that time, cars of this production are called nothing more than “Oda”.

The current state of affairs.

Of course, one could only dream of the prospects of the enterprise, because until the year 2000 the company was experiencing a major stagnation and production decline. At the beginning of the 21st century, the legal platform, as well as the management, changed significantly, after which the company started working again at the same pace.

JSC "IzhAvto" became integral part SOK group.

In 2005, the production of its own components for IZH models was completely stopped, and a year later, the production of VAZ-2106 models stopped. After the signing of important agreements, the assembly of RIOSpektra cars of the Korean corporation KIA Motors began. Investment contributions amounted to about 60 million rubles, which had a good effect on the production capacity of the enterprise itself.

2006 became an anniversary year, as the company celebrated the 40th anniversary of the release of its first car from the assembly line.

At this stage, the capacity of the enterprise allows the production of about 200 thousand cars a year, and in total more than 2 million 300 thousand units have rolled off the assembly line under the emblem of the IZH brand.

In 2008, financial difficulties began, as through economic situation on the foreign exchange market, KIA parts went up by as much as 40% (according to the assessment of the company's specialists). Production continued, but in 2009 it was suspended, as the enterprise was experiencing enormous difficulties.

Unfortunately, the company was unable to fully repay its debts and find funds for restructuring to resume the operation of the assembly line, which has been standing since May. The management did not receive support from Sberbank of Russia, which is why the enterprise became bankrupt. The debt amounted to about 7.74 billion rubles. The enterprise was forced to pledge a controlling stake in IzhAvto.

On April 29, 2009, the enterprise stopped its work and the production of cars stopped. Then there are discussions about the future of IzhAvto. After the appointment of a new management, it should again become state-owned, but many analysts who are interested in the future fate of the enterprise say that most likely it will be sold to someone for a certain amount. The conveyor is frozen in anticipation, production is temporarily frozen, but thanks to possible investments, production should be established already in soon, but their source, of course, depends on what products the company will produce.

History of IzhAvto

Car production at the Izhmash plant in Udmurtia began in April 1966. Already in December 1966, the first Moskvich-408, developed at the plant named after Izhmash, was assembled at Izhmash. Lenin Komsomol of Moscow. In total, during the period of formation at the plant in 1966, 300 Moskvich-408 cars rolled off the assembly line. The modernized model Moskvich-412 appeared on the assembly line in December 1967, and by the end of this year Izhmash had assembled 204 vehicles. The design team of the plant has developed its own upgraded models Izh-2125 combi and Izh-2715 van. In 1971, the last main and auxiliary automobile workshops of Izhmash came into operation. About 5,000 different machines have been installed in the factory and additional equipment, Izhmash conveyors had overall length over fifty kilometers. The most time-consuming processes - welding and painting of car components are done by robots and automatic production lines.

In October 1977, the factory staff celebrated the millionth car that rolled off the assembly line. The new model Izh 2126, developed by the plant's designers, was put on the conveyor in 1991. In the early 90s, the plant spun off into a separate enterprise, IzhmashAvto. The leading model at Izhmash was the Izh 2126 hatchback, which received the new name "Oda" and was produced in the form of several modifications. It produced a plant and trucks - an Izh 27171 pickup truck and a IZH 2717 van. In 2005, the production of IzhAvto's own models was discontinued, and industrial assembly of cars began. KIA Rio and Spectra, and in 2007 the production of the Sorento SUV was launched. The factory team made several attempts to start the assembly of the Czech Skoda models, but due to numerous organizational and technical difficulties, we had to refuse cooperation.

As a result of a significant decline in sales caused by the 2009 global crisis, the IzhAvto company completely stopped car production and was declared bankrupt. In 2010, things in the company began to gradually improve. After a year of downtime, the main equipment was reactivated, a production plan for the future appeared. A year later, the company establishes the production of VAZ 2107, then a limited batch got on the conveyor KIA Spectra and Sorento. In July 2012, the Izh plant started assembling Lada Granta, for this, 1.36 billion rubles were invested in the organization of production. In the same year, the plant completely stopped the production of the "four" VAZ 2104, thereby putting an end to the history of the VAZ "Classic". Starting from September 2015, IzhAvto starts mass production Russian bestseller Lada Vesta. On June 19, 2017, the 100,000th Lada Vesta was produced.
