Which we rejected. 1.4 and 1.8 TSI engines are available only in the "Elegance" configuration and equipped with automatic transmissions, such cars cost 929 and 939 thousand rubles, respectively. True, with the advent of such package offers, it became impossible to equip the optimal hatchback in the Ambient configuration with a rear wiper and parking sensors, nets in the trunk, a folding sofa armrest and other pleasant and inexpensive little things.

All these positions have been integrated into the version "Elegance". This configuration also includes cruise and climate control, 15-inch alloy wheels, side airbags, fog lights and a more convenient on-board computer with a Maxi Dot display. However, at the price of "Elegance" comes close to too high by the standards budget cars mark of 800 thousand rubles. Yes, and the packages of additional equipment here are drawn up more taking into account the interests of the seller, rather than in favor of the buyer: inflatable "curtains" of safety, for example, you will receive only with light alloy wheels and electric folding mirrors.

Station wagons with 1.8T and 2.0TDi engines are also available in the Laurin & Klement version. What engine?

1st place: 1.6 l (102 hp). The best option in terms of price and consumer qualities.
