Acquaintance with the new Cadillac, of course, let's start with its appearance. The appearance of the car is not unambiguous - on the one hand, these are large forms executive sedan, on the other hand, very aggressive lines, especially the “chopped” design of the front end. The appearance of the Cadillac CTS turned out to be “menacing”, but it is clear that there is something feigned in this “threat”.
In addition, the front overhang of the new Cadillac CTS turned out to be too impressive, which can tritely cause a real “threat” (and for oneself, in the first place) when parking.
The design of the rear of the sedan corresponds, in style, to the front, but its smoothed lines are more pleasing to the eye. It seems to us that a successful compromise has been found between the “moderately smooth line” at the rear and “sharp strokes” (just creating the “aggression effect”) at the front, while maintaining the overall harmony of the car’s design as a whole.
