In addition, for Alfa Romeo Giulietta, you can choose one of 4 petrol engines with a capacity of 120, 150, 170 or 240 hp. (the latter only in Veloce). The double clutch of the Alfa Romeo TCT box allows, apart from automatic mode, cycle through gears manually. Since the box works like a sequential one, it is enough to push the selector lever forward or backward, or use the paddles on the steering wheel. With a separate switch, the driver can also select one of three dynamic modes, influencing the logic of the gearbox, response to the gas and brake pedals, engine characteristics, electronic differential lock and traction control system.
Audi RS Q3 Performance in Geneva added 27 hp (there are now 367 of them in total), which, together with a torque of 465 N∙m, allows you to accelerate to a hundred in 4.4 s. At the same time, the maximum speed is 270 km / h (and not 250, as was once agreed between German companies), and fuel consumption is only 8.6 l / 100 km. For this, braking energy recovery and a start-stop system are used.
It is important that the maximum torque is already reached from 1650 rpm. Gears are handled by a 7-speed automatic double clutch S-Tronic with the possibility of manual control of the paddles. In Modus Dynamic mode of the Audi system drive select switching is accompanied by automatic intermediate regassing. If desired, you can order a chassis lowered by a couple of centimeters with adjustable shock absorbers.
The distribution of traction between the wheels occurs automatically and for each of them separately.

I wonder if it is possible to pay extra and check where the overclocking limit really is?
And what is this new word in the Bavarian language iPerformance? From now on, this term will denote the top electric and hybrid models of the company. For example, under the hood of the new BMW 740e iPerformance is a modest-looking ... “four” with double supercharging plus an electric motor, so that the total power of the unit reaches 326 hp. This allows you to manage only 2.1 liters of gasoline per hundred. For the FIRST hundred mileage, while there is still enough energy in the battery to drive with zero fuel consumption. This well-established marketing technique should be understood as follows: if you are going to go somewhere close, within 100 kilometers, you will hardly need gasoline. But then you have to stand at the outlet, or come to terms with the quite usual appetite for the seven.
Another Geneva premiere is the BMW M2 Coupé, featuring extroverted dynamic design and suitability for circuits like the Nürburgring. By the way, a whole package of M Performance Parts borrowed from motorsport has been developed for it, making the car even closer to the term “car”.

Citroen brought a Space Tourer to Geneva. It will replace the Jumpy and is built in cooperation with Toyota. Space Tourer will be produced in three different lengths and in four trim levels. At the same time, a height of 1.9 m allows you to drive into ordinary underground parking lots. New motors up to 180 hp promise to set an example for others in terms of economy. In addition to the premiere of the serial SpaceTourer, Citroën also showed a colorful concept 4 × 4 SpaceTourer Hyphen. His name from the English "hyphen" seems to connect the family and the group of friends, van and SUV, city and village. The image of the novelty was developed by ... the French musical pop group Hyphen Hyphen from Nice. In addition to bright contrasting colors, the concept can take you to hard-to-reach places thanks to the all-wheel drive Dangel. Ferrari brought to Geneva his vision of the Gran Turismo: the GTC4 Lusso. It is designed to guarantee the driver pleasure everywhere: on the track, on the journey, including in the snowy Nordic countries. And all because of the latest Ford SYNC 3 voice communication system. Actually, it is not only voice, but also gesture, so waving your hands on the go is more careful. Well, in Geneva, of course, the new TDCi turbodiesel is more interesting for us. Hyundai promises to please with the new Ioniq model. It is designed exclusively for alternative drive and is characterized by outstanding aerodynamic qualities.
Hyundai Ioniq will be produced in three versions: with a hybrid unit (HEV) with an appetite of less than 3.5 l / 100 km and a price of up to 30,000 euros, and purely electric (EV). 4. Maserati presented its first serial crossover at the Geneva Motor Show, which was named after the warm Mediterranean wind - Levante. With him, the company intends to compete for buyers with such premium crossovers as the Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5 and X6, as well as the Mercedes-Benz GLE.
5. The base 350-horsepower Levante will reach 100 km / h in six seconds, and the 430-horsepower modification will need 5.2 seconds. These versions spend 10.7 and 10.9 liters of gasoline per "hundred". Diesel will spend 7.2 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h and spend 7.2 liters of diesel fuel per 100 km.

7. It is a pity that since 2016 the supply of Opel cars to the Russian market has been stopped, because the Opel Mokka X is a very nice and worthy car. The new Mokka is now trying to look more serious. The new “chip” of the exterior design was 2 sweeping “jackdaws” in the front and rear optics.
8. The central display with a diagonal of 7 or 8 inches looks the brightest inside. So that a chic display and an advanced operating system do not go to waste, Mokka was also endowed with the ability to access the Internet and connect to mobile devices.
9. Adaptive bi-xenon optics have been replaced with multi-mode LED, various radar safety and driver assistance technologies have been added, two new colors (orange and red). Such a new Opel Mokka X, which we will not see. At least officially.
By the way, the demand for compact crossovers has tripled in the world over the past 10 years. Moreover, marketers assume that this segment will continue to grow.
Chinese supercar
10. Think it's an Italian supercar? No, it's Chinese! One of the most interesting exhibits of the Geneva Motor Show 2016 was a Chinese car from Techrules.
11. It uses a number of technologies patented by the Chinese under the general name TREV (Turbine Recharging Electric Vehicle), the main of which is the use of a gas turbine engine with a generator to charge a battery pack, which in turn feed six electric motors with a total power of as much as 1044 hp.
12. In electric car mode, a Chinese can drive 150 km, and with a full tank and charged batteries, 1,200 km. The racing modification can run on aviation kerosene and gasoline, and the road version can run on natural gas.
Up to 100 km / h, the Chinese supercar accelerates in 2.5 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 350 km / h. Fantastically low fuel consumption is promised - 0.18 l / 100 km. Lukoil is outraged.
Toyota C-HR: a crossover for young people
13. This is a production SUV Toyota C-HR, which has gone from concept to serial rival Nissan Juke with a hybrid power plant. It is designed to fill the gap in the company's model line that has finally formed as a result of the "growing up" of the RAV4 and win back a part of the compact crossover market for the Japanese manufacturer.
14. Hints of sportiness - a sloping roofline, and "secret" rear doors, and a body kit. Perky and very youthful appearance. C-HR is another carrier of the TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) modular platform, which debuted on the Prius. But another technical detail is much more remarkable - the Japanese endowed the SUV with the first hybrid power plant in the segment.
The car is based on the TNGA platform, which is already hidden under a new generation of Toyota Prius. From him, the C-HR received a 122-horsepower hybrid power plant with a 1.8 petrol and an electric motor.

15. DS - a brand recently separated from Citroen, she showed the E-Tense model at the Geneva Motor Show. This is a concept, and in this form the car will never go into production. But the fact that the French have begun to move in this direction speaks volumes.
16. The engine is electric, its power is 402 hp - quite a supercar performance. The car accelerates to 100 in just 4.5 seconds, and the top speed is 250 km/h. The creators claim that under some ideal conditions, the battery should be enough for more than 300 km!

For comparison, the less fast and more affordable Centenario, created specifically for the 100th anniversary of the birth of the founder of the Lamborghini brand, will be produced in an edition of only 40 copies.

I would like to believe that Skoda chief designer Josef Kaban will be able to defend predatory forms and unusual optics.

It is possible that the initial versions will fall into the fork 2 - 2.2 million rubles.
