The Audi A4 Allroad Quattro in the new B9 body is an all-terrain station wagon based on a standard five-door. The premiere of the novelty took place at the Detroit Auto Show in 2016, and the European version of the model was shown in March at an exhibition in Geneva.

As before, the new Audi A4 Olroad 2018-2019 (photo and price) is built on a fairly simple principle. The car received an increased ground clearance (by 23 or 34 mm, depending on the selected tires), a protective body kit made of unpainted plastic around the perimeter of the body and slightly modified bumpers.

S tronic - 7-speed robot, quattro - all-wheel drive

In addition, you can recognize the Audi A4 Allroad 2019 by a different grille with vertical ribs, roof rails, aluminum moldings on the sidewalls and rims of the original design. The base comes with 17-inch wheels, and 19-inch wheels are available for an extra charge.

In the interior of the all-terrain station wagon, there are practically no differences from the usual one. The car has the same front panel with an even row of air ducts across the entire width, a non-retractable multimedia system screen in the center and a fully digital instrument panel available for a fee. The trunk volume of the model is 505 liters (with the rear sofa backs folded it increases to 1,510 liters), and the fifth door in the base is equipped with an electric drive.

For the new Audi A4 Allroad B9 in Europe, several petrol and diesel turbo engines ranging from 150 to 272 hp are offered, combined with mechanics, a seven-band S tronic robot and an eight-band automatic. An adaptive suspension with adjustable stiffness is also available for the car, and an Offroad mode has been added to the existing control electronics modes (Comfort, Auto, Dynamic, Efficiency and Individual) for the all-terrain station wagon.

Reception of orders for a car in Russia was opened in June 2016, and customers will receive the first cars in the fall. The price of the new Audi A4 Allroad quattro 2019 starts from 2,904,000 rubles for a version with a 2.0-liter TFSI gasoline engine with a capacity of 249 forces and a seven-speed S tronic robot with two clutches.

The all-wheel drive wagon Audi A4 allroad quattro (B9) 2016-2017 model year is presented as a world and American premiere. The new model Audi A4 Olroad Quattro 2016 came to conquer the visitors of the auto show in Detroit along with the new generation, with whom it is directly related. Indeed, in fact, the Audi A4 allroad is an all-terrain version of the usual Audi A4 station wagon with increased ground clearance and a plastic body kit that protects the body of the car when driving over rough terrain. We offer a brief overview of the novelty with photos and videos, specifications and equipment, price The new Audi A4 allroad quattro is from 44,750 euros. The start of sales of the new Audi A4 Olroad in Russia, according to preliminary information, is planned for the summer of 2016.

The new generation Audi A4 allroad quattro looks more solid and expensive compared to the original model of the new generation Audi A4 station wagon. The differences between the soplatform models of the German manufacturer are in the details, but how much brighter and more charismatic the all-terrain version turned out to be.
The front part of the all-wheel drive version of the allroad quattro is decorated with a massive trapezium of a false radiator grille with vertical chrome bars, an original bumper with neat air duct slots and new headlights with double lightning LED daytime running lights.
When examining the novelty from the side, we immediately note an increased ground clearance (according to the manufacturer, the clearance is 34 mm more than that of a regular Audi A4 station wagon), powerful plastic lining on the edges of the wheel arches and body sills, chrome roof rails, a new design of light-alloy standard 17 inch rims and optional 17-19 inch from quattro GmbH.
At the rear, the station wagon, capable of moving confidently on light off-road terrain, is equipped with a bumper with integrated exhaust tips and combined trim (black plastic, aluminum insert), chic marker lights with stylish LED graphics.

  • The external dimensions of the body of the new Audi A4 allroad quattro 2016-2017 are 4750 mm long, 1842 mm (including rear-view mirrors 2022 mm) wide, 1493 mm high, with a 2818 mm wheelbase and 175 mm ground clearance.
  • The length of the front overhang is 894 mm, the length of the rear light is 1038 mm.
    Front wheel track - 1578 mm, rear wheel track - 1566 mm.
  • For painting the body of the novelty, 14 enamel color options are offered, the most interesting and stylish of which, in our opinion, are Argus brown (brown), Floret silver (silver), Glacier white (snow white), Manhattan gray (gray) and Mythos black (black) .

As standard, the new Audi A4 Allroad Quattro is equipped with Xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights and LED taillights. Matrix LED front and rear lighting with dynamic direction indicators are available as an option.

The interior of the new generation Audi A4 allroad exactly repeats the interior of the Audi A4 platform models, both in terms of architecture and the availability of high-quality finishing materials and an extensive list of additional equipment. It is difficult to say what saturation the basic equipment of the new A4 allroad for the Russian market will be, but as an additional equipment, the novelty will please the car with a virtual dashboard with a 12.3-inch color screen, a multimedia complex with an 8.3-inch screen, a premium audio system class Bang & Olufsen 3D Sound System, Audi tablets for rear seat passengers mounted in the backs of the first row seats, adaptive cruise control with start-stop function, parking assistant and a host of other modern equipment.
The luggage compartment of the Audi A4 Olroad is designed to carry from 505 liters of cargo volume, behind the backs of the second row of seats, up to 1510 liters with the rear seats folded down. The all-wheel drive station wagon is capable of towing a trailer with a total weight of up to 2100 kg.
Specifications The new 2016-2017 Audi A4 allroad quattro is just super and amaze with a wide variety of petrol and diesel engines offered, a choice of three types of gearboxes - 6 manual transmissions, 7-speed S tronic and 8 Tiptronic automatic transmissions, a standard quattro all-wheel drive system, the presence Audi drive select systems with five operating modes (comfort, auto, dynamic, efficiency, individual and new Offroad), electromechanical power steering, all-wheel disc brakes and optional adaptive suspension.

  • Diesel engines for the new Audi A4 allroad quattro:
    four-cylinder 2.0-liter TDI (150 hp 320 Nm);
    four-cylinder 2.0-liter TDI (163 hp 400 Nm);
    four-cylinder 2.0-liter TDI (190 hp 400 Nm);
    six-cylinder 3.0-liter TDI (218 hp 400 Nm);
    six-cylinder 3.0-liter TDI (272 hp 600 Nm) paired with 8 automatic transmissions provides the all-terrain station wagon with acceleration dynamics from 0 to 100 mph in just 5.5 seconds, top speed is electronically limited at the turn of 250 mph, average fuel consumption is declared by the manufacturer at the level of 5.3 liters.
  • Gasoline engines under the hood of the new Audi A4 allroad quattro:
    2.0-liter TFSI (190 hp 320 Nm);
    A 2.0-liter TFSI (252 hp 370 Nm) in tandem with a 7-speed S tronic gearbox helps to gain the first hundred in 6.1 seconds, a top speed of 246 mph, and gasoline consumption in a combined driving mode of 6.4 liters.

The new Audi A4 Allroad Quattro, compared to the one that debuted in 2009, slightly increased in size, became more solid and stylish, has a more generous filling of the basic configuration, acquired more powerful and at the same time economical engines, but the price of the novelty is, to put it mildly, high. The cost of the German all-wheel drive station wagon Audi A4 allroad quattro of the new generation is an argument not in favor of the car.

Do you wince at the sight of the huge number of SUVs stalking the roads during the hours when all the parents are driving their children to or from school? Perhaps you even caught yourself whispering something about the insecurities of other drivers? Or have you wondered how you can afford to pay for all the gas consumed by such a huge car, bought for show? And let's not even start talking about harmful emissions ...

If the above is familiar to you, then Audi asks for a minute of attention. Even years before the idea of creating an SUV crept into the heads of the engineers of this company, the German automaker took the standard A6 station wagon, increased ground clearance, installed thick wheels and four-wheel drive, and decorated the body with plastic protective elements: the result was the A6 allroad.

It was, and remains so to this day, an all-rounder with enough off-road ability for drivers who don't always ride on the road.

Whether you lived on a farm, towed horse trailers, or simply got fed up with the hardships of driving in the worst winter weather, the A6 allroad was the family car you could count on.

Ten years later, in 2009, a younger brother appeared - A4 allroad. Now, this year, the second generation model has come out. The car is based on the latest version of the A4, a car that is such a good car that trying to find fault with it is "as hard, really, as finding something wrong with an American Hot Pizza from Pizza Express."

Large and small Audi allroads are the antidote to huge, boastful SUVs. Prices for the A4 allroad start at £36,010 for the 187bhp 2.0 TDI version. with a seven-speed robotic gearbox, quattro all-wheel drive and a consumption of 4.13 l / 100 km.

If you want a couple more cylinders under the hood, then take a look at the version with a 3-liter V6 TDI with 215 hp. for £37,860 and the 266bhp variant for £39,630.

For those who do not accept diesel engines, there is a 2.0 TFSI petrol version with 249 hp. for £37,725. At these prices, this adventure-ready station wagon is only one or two options cheaper than the latest Audi Q5.

The petrol version we tested is equipped with what Audi calls "quattro on demand". It uses front-wheel drive, but if the system detects slippage, it sends some of the power to the rear wheels. The rear axle is connected so quickly that we could not catch this moment. When you need all four wheels to grip the road confidently, they will.

Audi says the system reduces fuel consumption and that it will soon be installed on diesel versions of the A4 allroad. During our test, the average consumption was 5.88 l / 100 km, although we drove mainly on main roads. Still, the result is impressive considering that the official figure from the manufacturer is 5.35 l/100 km.

The Drive Select system changes the settings for the transmission, steering, suspension and so on, at the request of the driver. A new feature is the Offroad mode, which will adjust the car's handling and four-wheel drive for more difficult terrain.

A4 allroad buyers' attention is likely to be attracted by two options: "allroad suspension with adjustable damping" and "towing package". The former costs £900 and allows the car or driver to change the damper settings to more comfortable or more sporty. The second system costs £1150 and includes an automatic hitch and an automatic reverse system that controls the machine instead of the driver. We'll know that the system works if we don't see Audi drivers leaning out of windows, swearing softly while trying to look good by backing up.

Allroad ride comfort is an important point. The bumps in the road are smoothed out, but the car does not sway at high speeds. Handling is good, which gives you confidence, almost even admiration.

Probably the most important plus of this car is its silence. The petrol 4-cylinder engine is almost inaudible, only in the upper part of the rev range you can hear its sharp sound, and at speed on the highway you can hear a pleasant, barely noticeable sound of wind or tires. Throw in a responsive seven-speed gearbox and this model is a truly comfortable long-distance car.

And fast too: acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in just 6.1 seconds. But this car won't succumb to race-boy tricks, rather, it encourages a laid back approach.

The interior of the model is largely the same as that of the Audi A4 Avant. That is, excellent quality, front and rear seats are comfortable, and there is enough space for a family of five.

The trunk isn't the biggest, but at 505 liters with the seats up and 1,510 liters folded down, there's plenty of room to load up a week's drive and your Labrador. In addition, there are seat folding buttons, an automatic tailgate and an automatically opening luggage compartment with a dividing net.

If an SUV isn't your style, but you need a car for great long drives, the A4 allroad is a pretty compelling option. It looks as athletic on the outside as a pair of Nike running shoes, and most importantly, this machine can do everything it promises. And one more thing: Audi allroads hold their value well over time, making these cars a well thought out purchase.

In June 2016, Audi announced the acceptance of orders for the new generation A4 Allroad Quattro. The Audi A4 Allroad Quattro differs from the standard A4 Avant station wagon in an “off-road” body kit, increased ground clearance, a different setting for driving electronics, standard roof rails, contrasting body color, and decorative black moldings around the window perimeter. The finishing touch is the door sills with aluminum inserts and "allroad quattro" lettering. But the main feature or “hint”, as they say in official releases, lies in the name itself: “the presence of a quattro all-wheel drive system guarantees improved dynamics, optimized traction transmission and an excellent driving experience on almost any road surface.” In Russia, the Audi A4 Allroad Quattro is offered with a two-liter petrol turbo engine with 249 hp. and "robot" S-tronic with dual clutch.

Features of the external equipment of the A4 Allroad Quattro for the Russian market include 17" alloy wheels with a choice of 18" wheels, electrically adjustable and heated mirrors. Xenon headlights are standard, and for an extra charge you can install Audi Matrix LED optics with an intelligent system that adjusts the light Environment based on camera and sensor data (Dynamic Cornering Lights and All-Weather Lights are enabled by default) Standard interior upholstery fabric seats, 3-spoke multifunction leather sports steering wheel, heated front seats, silver accents, dual-zone climate control -control, MMI® radio plus system and 8 speakers (80 W) For a surcharge, a rich selection of options is offered: folding side mirrors, sports seats or comfort seats with ventilation, leather interior, sports steering wheel cut off from below, power front seats, three-zone climate control control, navigation MMI navigation plus® with MMI touch, 12.3" digital Audi virtual cockpit and premium Bang & Olufsen audio system with 3D sound.

Although in general a wide range of engines is provided for the Audi A4 Allroad Quattro, for the Russian market the car is offered with one (for 2016) engine - a new 2.0 TFSI power unit with a power of 249 hp. This engine, coupled with a seven-speed S tronic transmission, is capable of accelerating the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and a top speed of 246 km/h. The A4 Allroad Quattro's power-to-weight ratios are noteworthy - only 6.65 kg per 1 hp. Through the use of a number of technologies, it has been possible to further reduce emissions and fuel consumption - it is 6.4 l / 100 km in the combined cycle.

Audi A4 Allroad Quattro has a fully independent suspension ("multi-link" front and rear). The standard suspension is supplemented by an optional adaptive suspension (with electronically controlled damping and increased chassis height), as well as an S sports suspension. The car is equipped with an electromechanical power steering (dynamic steering system is optional), disc brakes front and rear. Audi drive select, standard on the A4 Allroad Quattro, includes an efficiency mode that delivers increased efficiency by adapting the vehicle's systems to your driving style.

Speaking of safety, the A4 Allroad Quattro is equipped by default with frontal airbags for the driver and front passenger with a two-stage activation system, side airbags for the driver and front passenger complete with curtain airbags for the head, and side airbags for the rear passengers can be installed for a surcharge. Of course, the car is equipped with all modern active security systems (full set of ABS, EBD, BAS, ESP, TCS). BrakeAssist Auto Hold and Parking Assistant with Rear Sensors are included as standard. But that's not all, if you count the additional equipment, which includes: a pre-crash safety system (Audi pre sense basic), a rear view camera, a lane change assistant, front parking sensors, an automatic parking system and a head-up display.

As usual, the new A4 Allroad Quattro shows all the best features of the A4 family, complemented by good off-road ability. The car is also interesting in functional terms - there are standard roof rails, and a decent-sized cargo compartment (505-1510 liters) with an electric trunk lid, plus Quattro all-wheel drive and a powerful engine guarantee confident movement with a heavy trailer. All in all, a great choice for multi-purpose use.

Below is a brief overview with configurations, specifications and photos.
If we compare the Audi A4 allroad quattro model with the Audi A4 station wagon, then the novelty looks more solid, although the differences between the two versions are only in details.

At the front, the allroad quattro has a branded grille with chrome vertical bars, new headlights and an original bumper with slotted air intakes.
When examining the car in profile, we immediately notice an increased ground clearance by 34 mm, plastic door sills and wheel arch edges, R17 alloy wheels with an original pattern (R17-R19 wheels from quattro GmbH are optionally available) and chrome roof rails.

In the database, the new Audi A4 Allroad Quattro model is equipped with Xenon plus head optics with LED daytime running lights and LED position lights. Optionally available front and rear Matrix LED lighting.

The interior of the Audi A4 allroad model year 2016-2017 is exactly the same as that of the Audi A4 platform, both in terms of finishing materials and an impressive list of additional equipment.

It is not yet known what saturation the basic equipment will be for the Russian market, but optionally the car will be able to please with a multimedia complex with an 8.3-inch screen, a virtual instrument panel with a 12.3-inch color screen, a Bang & Olufsen 3D Sound System premium audio system, built-in in the backs of the front seats with Audi tablets for entertaining second-row passengers, start/stop function, parking assistant, adaptive cruise control and other modern equipment.

The capacity of the luggage compartment is 505 liters in the stowed state and 1510 liters with the backs of the second row folded down, and the all-wheel drive version of the off-road station wagon is capable of towing a trailer weighing no more than 2100 kg.

As standard, the quattro is equipped with an all-wheel drive system with the Audi drive select system (it has five operating modes comfort, auto, dynamic, efficiency, individual and the new Offroad), electromechanical power steering, disc brakes on all wheels, adaptive suspension is optionally available.

The new model of the Audi A4 Allroad Quattro compared to the previous version, which debuted in 2009, has increased in size, has become more stylish, economical and with more generous basic content. The only argument that is not in favor of the new car is its price, which seems to me somewhat overpriced.
