Most, if not all, SUV models are produced by Tolyatti AvtoVAZ, a regular hero of jokes and a manufacturer of buckets on wheels. And although the auto giant has done a lot to improve its own products, they have certain technical and managerial defects.
The UAZ Patriot, or the famous “Bobik”, is gradually fading into history. Crossovers are one of the most popular classes of cars. Even the most famous car manufacturers in the world - Lamborghini, Bentley, Maserati and even Maybach - have taken up the creation of SUVs.
But which cars from the world of SUVs are the best today? There probably can’t be a definite answer here. Everyone has their own criteria. I decided to name my “ten” best, guided by the simplest criterion – sales volumes.
In Ukraine, Mazda offers the CX-5 with a choice of one of the following engines:
- 2-liter petrol with 150 hp;
- 2.5-liter petrol with 194 hp;
- 2.2-liter diesel with 175 hp.
The two-liter engine works exclusively in tandem with a 6-speed manual transmission. The other two are offered only with a 6-speed automatic.
Baojun 510 – compact Chinese crossover, which debuted in early 2017. The car is produced on joint venture, one of the co-owners of which is the American concern General Motors.
