All of them have the same height and can be used on engines with a volume of 1500 cm3. Therefore, the body of these blocks has the mark "21083" on the casting. As a spare part, a product with the item number 21083-100201100 is shipped from the factories today.
The body of the "83rd" has tides, the same as on all other engine blocks of front-wheel drive VAZ cars. However, there are threaded holes here only on the lugs involved in the installation of the equipment. Unified for VAZ 21083, it also has a tide for installing an oil level sensor, which is located under the oil filter. In order to fix the block head on the upper plane, there are 10 holes in the M12x1.25 format. The color of the cylinder block 21083 is blue. 
The unification of the "083rd" led to the loss of the VAZ 2110 cylinder block of its characteristic features associated with additional tides on the body. Outwardly, today it is indistinguishable from the "083rd". In BC 2110, three upper threaded holes and three lower holes of the casting part are also used for installing brackets for the right engine support and for mounting the generator mounting plate. Since this product is mounted on "injection" engines, the cylinder block has a place to install a knock sensor.
By analogy with the "083rd", it is supposed to install an oil level sensor. In addition, the 2110 cylinder block is often used to assemble VAZ 21083 engines. The color of the 2110 block is gray.
Cylinder block 2112 outwardly indistinguishable from blocks 2110 and 21083, however, it is interchangeable with them. Its main feature is the presence of mounting holes for the block head, M10x1.25 in size. In addition, additional oil channels with special oil nozzles pressed into them are mounted in the second, third, fourth and fifth main bearing supports. It is through them that at the time of engine operation, oil under pressure is able to wash the bottoms of the pistons. As a result, their thermal deformation is reduced, lubrication is improved, which is especially important at the time of starting the engine. The resource of the latter is thus significantly increased. Color of cylinders 2112 - gray.
Cylinder block 21114 in fact, it is an upgraded model 2110. During the changes, the engine capacity was increased to 1.6 liters. That is why the block became "high" - 197.1 mm. Otherwise, BC 21114 practically does not differ from 2110. The main feature of this block is the absence of a tide and a mounting hole for an oil level sensor under the filter. The head of the block is attached to holes having a M12x1.25 thread. There are no oil nozzles for cooling the pistons on the side. The color of block 21114 is blue.
Today AvtoVAZ does not produce cylinder block 21114, the alternative model is BC 11183. These two models are virtually identical. The color of the cylinder block 11183 is grey.
Cylinder block 11193 is intended for installation on the VAZ 21124 engine. It is a modified and modernized block 2112. However, model 11193 is higher - 197.1 mm, due to which the engine capacity is increased to 1.6 liters. 
Block 11193 is designed on the basis of the "2112th". It has mounting holes M10x1.25 in size, designed to install the block head. There are also specialized oil nozzles that cool the pistons. On the body of the block there is an inscription - "11193". Product color - grey.
Together with Federal Mogul, AvtoVAZ developed a new engine - VAZ 21126. When creating it, the main task facing the developers was to comply with increased environmental standards associated with a decrease in exhaust gas toxicity, as well as an increase in engine life. The cylinder block 11193 was used as the basis for the design.
Cylinder block 21126 has the highest quality in the surface treatment of the product, carried out in accordance with Federal Mogul technology. During this process, the cylinder is subjected to flat-top honing, which makes it possible to obtain grids of microgrooves of a special profile on its surface. It is he who reliably holds the lubricant on the surface of the product, while reducing energy loss due to friction. Thus, the honing technology used at AVTOVAZ for processing the surface of cylinders of the VAZ 21126 block differs from previous models.
Federal Mogul has developed the basic technological parameters for surface honing. This is the angle of inclination, and its profile, and the frequency of applying microgrooves. However, block 11194 is practically indistinguishable from models 11193 and 21126 in its design and the availability of places for attaching equipment. However, cooling jacket ducts are made between adjacent cylinders due to a decrease in their diameter. This made it possible to improve heat dissipation, increase the rigidity of the structure. Similar cylinder surface treatment in accordance with Federal Mogul technology is also carried out on model 21126. The color of the VAZ 11194 cylinder block is blue.
I noticed Kalina when I was looking for a suitable option for myself after I passed my license. I needed a compact, reliable and inexpensive car to calmly consolidate my driving skills. At the same time, I wanted the car to be cute and elegant, but I'm still a girl! According to the means, I especially liked the car Lada Kalina with a hatchback body. The only downside was that there was a decent-sized crack on the windshield and scratches on the bumper. But I was somehow internally ready to put up with these shortcomings, especially since the owner gave us a price. The machine was a little over 2 years old, the general condition is good. In general, I made up my mind! Having completed all the documents in one day, I plunged into the delights of driving everyday life. Of the minuses, I’ll note the lack of air conditioning, although we coped with this quite well.The car periodically requires investments.During 4 years of use (quite active!) we managed to change the stove, windshield and bumper (required to be replaced even when buying), flashed the car to make it faster, changed the fuel pump, battery, I bought covers and rubber mats for the salon.I don’t consider consumables (candles, brake pads, belts, filters and oil strictly according to mileage), because they took the best, followed carefully.In order not to get stuck somewhere on the track.Nevertheless, the car a couple of times once the fuel pump broke down, the battery died a second time, the fuse blew again. Still, I consider Kalina to be an excellent option, the best combination of price and quality (cough-cough-cough, how high-quality our domestic cars can be in general) .
