Install the steering cable.
Install the wheel and screw on the brake fluid reservoir cap.

On new pads, you will find the so-called “squeakers”, which, with their squeal, should signify to you that the wear on the pads is critical. So, when installing, these metal “squeakers” on the pads should be on top, do not confuse.

Next important point, these are the pins on the pads. They should fall exactly into the recesses on the bottom of the brake piston (See the picture above). We assemble the structure in the reverse order, put the handbrake cable in place. After the wheel is installed, it is necessary to press the brake pedal several times, this will allow the pads to take their place, and the piston to press against the pads. We look at the level of brake fluid in the tank and top up if necessary.

To install the caliper, it is necessary to compress the piston, but at the same time as compression, it must be twisted clockwise. This can be done using a special clamp, but we used improvised means, namely round-nose pliers:

It will be hard at first, then easier. Then we collect everything in the reverse order. Before starting the movement, we press the brake pedal several times to the stop.
