Relays are removable simple pull, and are installed by indentation. On some relays located behind the instrument panel, two plastic brackets must be removed before removing them. The fuse and relay box is removed after compressing the mounting brackets on both sides of the box. The brackets can be moved forward and the relay removed from the block contacts. Remove the fuse and relay box by pulling it out of the holders with a lever to loosen the group contacts in the holes of the holder.

23 (7.5 A) - electrical control, engine control unit, automatic transmission mode selector.

Fuses #25-60:
25 (5 A) - radiator fan, air conditioner, pressure meter. If the fan does not work, see power fuse 2.
26 (7.5 A) - electric power steering. If the steering wheel is hard to turn or there are problems in the operation of the amplifier, also check the SA4 power fuse. If both low beam headlights still do not work, check the light switch on the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel, its contacts, and the steering column switch, wiring.
40 (30 A) - heater / climate control / air conditioning fan. See prev. 22.
41 - reserve.
42 (15 A) - cigarette lighter. Usually only works when the ignition is on. If it stopped working after connecting the device, most likely short circuit, use an additional socket or splitter to connect appliances. If replacing the fuse does not help, check the connector itself, the contacts in it, the connection connector and the wiring.
43 (15 A) - direction indicators, alarm, brake lights, electrical equipment onboard network. If the turn signals do not work, check the lamps and contacts in the landing connectors. Regardless of which car from the Passat line the electronics are being repaired, it is necessary to replace the fuses in compliance with certain rules. First of all, make sure that the entire electrical circuit is in good condition, the fuse of which has blown. If it is defective, it must be repaired. Otherwise, a re-burnout will occur.
