This production instruction for the driver of a diesel power plant (diesel power plant) was developed on the basis of the Unified Tariff and Qualification Guide (ETKS N 3), the Rules for the Technical Operation of Diesel Power Plants (PTED), approved by the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of the Russian Federation on 09.02.93.

1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1.1. The driver of a diesel power plant (diesel power plant), further on the test, the driver of a diesel power plant, is a worker and reports directly to the foreman (head of the structural unit).

1.2. The diesel power plant driver must perform his duties in accordance with the requirements of this Instruction.

1.4. The DES driver must know:

technical conditions for testing products;

consumption rates of fuels and lubricants and electricity.

1.5. The diesel power plant driver is appointed to the position and dismissed by order of the head of the institution in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation.

1.6. Persons at least 18 years of age who have passed a medical examination, theoretical and practical training, tested knowledge of labor safety requirements in the prescribed manner and received permission to work independently are allowed to work as a diesel power plant driver.

2. RESPONSIBILITIES

2.3. During work, the DPP Engineer is obliged to:

control changes in oil pressure and temperature, generator temperature;

monitor the connections of the fuel lines, the tightness of the joint between the head and the cylinder block, preventing fuel leakage and breakdown of exhaust gases;

prevent loosening of the engine or generator fastening to the frame, if necessary, stop the engine and tighten the fastening bolts;

inspect electrical equipment and live parts without penetrating the grids, doors and other fences of the power plant;

use an electric knife switch, dielectric gloves, a dielectric stand or a mat when turning on or off external power networks;

2.4. The DES driver is prohibited from:

pour gasoline into the intake pipe when starting the engine;

use oxygen when starting the engine instead of compressed air or nitrogen;

use an open flame when refueling fuel tank, as well as when examining fuel system and for heating fuel and oil pipelines;

2.5. When emergencies DES driver is obliged:

it is forbidden to pour water on burning fuel, electrical equipment and electrical wires that are energized;

2.6. The diesel power plant driver at the end of the working day must:

disconnect external power lines;

stop the engine;

check the tightness of the contacts on the current-carrying parts of the generator, clean the burnt contacts to a metallic sheen;
