Because he didn't get in the car. And here is my first driving impression: “why did I buy you?”. It felt like I was put on jet engine. The Honda X4 reacted to gas in any gear in such a way that the speedometer needle rose instantly along with the tachometer. The acceleration is just crazy. The bike seemed very heavy at first and clumsy in the corners, but this feeling disappeared after the first 150 km, having ridden on it. In general, I got used to its power for a very long time, however, after 1 year of driving it is already not enough for me. With many “sports” from a traffic light, I am always the first up to 185 km, no one has bothered me yet. Then the speed cut. I will not shoot. Many of my friends, owning R1, do not believe that they will lose on the dynamics of acceleration from a standstill. Lost to me. The most basic thing that attracts me to the Honda X4 is the looks. Two large pipes on the sides and its design always attracts attention. And of course, his awesome power. And of course White color suits him very well. The big minus is a small tank. Refueling every 120 km. Eats gasoline like my jeep. And another problem is with the charge relay, but it was decided once and for all by installing a new relay according to the scheme. So the Honda X4 swallowed these pits, but it would have been something easier, like a “four hundred” or some kind of “sport” - I don’t know how it would have ended. So Honda X4 for our roads. But spare parts for it are like for an airplane - tidy is the most weakness, scatters at the slightest fall, but is expensive - from 25-30 thousand, you can find cheaper, but this is a big deficit. Honda X4 has never been delivered to Russia, spare parts for it are expensive and made to order. There is a lot in common with the CB1300 - they share the same engine and many parts fit. On mine, when I bought it, there was a tidy from CB1300, although it lied a little (at 100 km / h it showed 84, at 180 it showed 160). At the expense of gasoline consumption, I can say that if you tumble from traffic lights for 200 km / h (constantly turn until the cutoff), then the tank reserve is enough for 90-120 km, with a “torn” rhythm of movement for 130-160 km, with a calm ride (up to 160 km / h) at 170-200 km. Riding a Honda X4 is an incredible pleasure, only with it there was a desire to simply ride around the city without a goal, to enjoy driving a motorcycle itself. After the CBR 900, in traffic jams, the Honda X4 seemed like a scooter to me - this is a word about its handling. As for the reliability of the motorcycle as a whole, I sold my X4 with a mileage of under 60 t.km. And as of today, the mileage is 90 thousand km - I think the same number will pass. Changed the charge controller. I changed it only because of the “long-range combat”, for them the suspension is short-stroke and the volume of the gas tank is small (digested to a larger volume does not fit into the style of the motorcycle), and it’s a pity to waste it on these things. And again, the most important thing about the Honda X4 is its bottomless engine.

The motorcycle turned out to be just fire, I didn’t even suspect such dynamics, it just doesn’t want to go slowly, it just needs to escape from under the owner after stopping somewhere at a traffic light. A Japanese forward flow is installed - it buzzes like a T-34 tank. Handling is excellent, in the city all the traffic jams are on the drum, the wheels are enough for 2 seasons, it erases completely. I traveled the farthest 400 km, you get very tired, more from speed and stress, and I’m no longer young, I don’t recommend Honda X4 for “long distance” (personal opinion). I am 100% satisfied with the motorcycle, there have never been any problems with the Honda X4, in given time I sell, because I just want a powerful chopper and quiet ride because reckless years have flown to nowhere. I strongly regret selling the Honda X4, I could have left it without hesitation, I would have left it in order to sometimes drive it under 200 km and get a portion of adrenaline. Whoever is going to take it - take it without hesitation, there are a lot of spare parts, there will be no problems, and the owner of this miracle is guaranteed a lot of positive emotions.
