On the one hand, the car has changed a lot in its "face", it has become more youthful. At the same time, it grew up a lot, becoming more solid: the length of the eleventh Corolla reached an impressive 4620 mm. All these innovations came together in a completely natural way.

“In the first lines” of this material, we, of course, mention the 1.33-liter engine, which, together with a manual gearbox, makes up the “Standard” package for 659,000 rubles. But we will not return to this version of the Corolla again: 99 forces may be economical, but too little, and the plugs instead of buttons throughout the cabin are completely sad.

Marketers are sure that the 1.6 liter engine with 122 hp will become the most popular. Moreover, you can choose a pair for it - “mechanics” or a variator. For the first combination, the Classic (699,000 rubles), Classic Plus (754,000) and Comfort (781,000) versions are available. But we will go further and make a bold but obvious statement: the largest number of sales will come from a pair of “1.6 liters with a CVT”. And not only because the popularity of the "mechanics" is clearly on the wane - the "Corolla" in this version has a lot more trim levels: six.

If you don’t like the plugs, you will have to cut off the Classic package (743,000 rubles) and start getting acquainted with the Classic Plus (791,000), where instead of a frankly terrible plastic socket, an audio system finally appears. And throwing another 28 thousand, you can get fog lights, a three-spoke leather steering wheel with “music” control buttons, six speakers and a few more options. By the way, starting from the “Comfort” version, the central armrest is movable, but I would call it a redundant option: the one in the standard version is quite convenient.

As you can see, a very pleasant offer in terms of the ratio of the set of options and the price. Especially when you consider that the next version, Comfort Plus, is 24 thousand more expensive, and there are much fewer changes in it: the wheels will become cast and a rear-view camera with markings will be added. "Elegance" and "Prestige", of course, please with equipment, but puzzle the price: 875,000 and 938,000 rubles, respectively.

Everyone praises the 1.8 liter engine. Quick and not particularly voracious: fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 6.4 liters per hundred, which is only 0.1 liters more than the Corolla with a 1.6-liter engine. However, the cheapest equipment with this unit (“Comfort Plus”) is 37,000 rubles more expensive than the weaker version. Don't be fooled by the "S" badge that appears on 1.8-litre cars since the "Elegance" version. For other brands, S traditionally means improved dynamic performance, but for the Corolla - only moldings and a trunk spoiler.

The most "stuffed" version of "Prestige" is also the smartest, as it is equipped with a bunch of electronic systems. However, the price tag for it is approaching the mark of a million, to be more precise - 933,000 rubles. In general, for an amateur. Summing up, we consider the Comfort version for 819,000 rubles to be optimal: with a 1.6 liter engine and a CVT.
