IMHO, Logan will appeal to a not very young man, from about 35. Logan-lady and Logan-boy somehow they don't show up. It is lucky if this man "in the prime of his life" turns out to be absolutely indifferent to boyish tuning and creeping improvement. The fact is that the stock Logan is decently balanced in terms of exterior / interior / driving / consumer qualities (I emphasize _balanced_, that is, of course, not ice, but without obvious failures); accordingly, almost any gadgets on Logan are perceived either as a saddle on a cow, or as unreasonably expensive sybaritism (for example, on all . auto . en Logan for sale leather interior"tailor-made" - this is a must see!) I reject almost any finishing touches, except, perhaps, cabin filter and motor computer firmware from the respected Paulus (cheap and cheerful).

3) the nature of the engine, suspension and general style contribute to a measured leisurely movement in space, without sharp linear or angular accelerations (however, if you need to brake decisively, then this is “not a question”, in most cases the bumper of the front-flying one will remain unharmed, take care of your rear !);

4) body geometry and the suspension allow for a soothing contact with nature, including in those places where the wheel of most modern buzzers will not set foot and therefore the contingent of strangers is minimal;

5) theft in general seems to be growing, but Logan, fortunately, is far from being the leader in this matter, but rather the opposite, which means that his owner can work / shop / sleep peacefully.

ambition (in the sense of "step aside people, I'm driving a foreign car") is not for us. The top version of Logan was not in vain called "Prestige" - this is healthy French humor, and maybe not French, but our Moscow one, because. "Prestige" appeared only 2 years after the localization of Logan on Russian soil. Well, it is not prestige in any form! Especially in Russia, where a toned Priora in a sports body kit “a la Mazda-3” is perceived more prestigious. In our country, the ranking of cars is much more pronounced and, so to speak, more visible than anywhere else: to join the stream from the driveway or to occupy left lane autobahn on some cars is easier, but on others it is more difficult, and dependence on hp. and $ is not straight at all here. Logan will not satisfy the need of his owner to deploy a grandiose unstoppable R&D in his own garage (who can decipher it?), because our car breaks down weakly and rarely, but is serviced with dignity at company services. Here ... I feel for this place the discussion will catch on and get me nuts. Dear readers! After all, everything here is IMHO and MY opinion is based on MY operating experience. I did not have spontaneous breakdowns (ugh-3-times). Yes, my mileage is quantitatively small (30 tkm), but qualitatively heavy - we do NOT have a metropolis, there are many short trips with cold engines and dampers on disgusting roads, and I would multiply 30,000 by 2 or 2.5 for comparison, for example, with a metropolitan car. There are clearly no complaints about the service at the regional Renovskaya service station, everything suits (I sign that this is not an order and that I am not an employee and not the owner of the mentioned service station).

From the foregoing, a conclusion is drawn: if you want not just to drive, but to get any impressions from this process (it doesn’t matter, + or -), then this is not for Logan. Logan is the limit of utility and pragmatism among cars, only a trolleybus is farther. This is not an insult, just reality. Logan is so conceived and implemented so. This is not a family member, but just a complex household appliance, equipment for moving. Even the concepts of “beauty” and “design” are quite applicable to Logan, if we mean an everyday thing, and not a steel creature eager to conquer space. If this interpretation of the car is enough for you, then Logan will definitely not disappoint you. But I was bored with him ...

Part 3. Lies and truth in some running myths about Renault Logan
