What is better lifan breeze or vaz. Lada Priora, Lifan Breez, Chery Amulet: Brothers forever? Lazy, correct, evil

02.09.2019

The journalist of the automotive portal chinamobil.ru Sergey Skobyakov conducted a comparative Test Drive And Chery Amulet. For comparison with Lifan Breeze automobile Chery Amule t journalist chose because he is very similar to consumer qualities, price and image.

According to Skobyakov, in China, as well as in other markets, this C-class sedan is known as LIFAN 520. He was introduced to the Russians as. The car is assembled in Russia in the city of Cherkessk on factory Derways. Journalist for test drive got a car with 1.6 liter engine 116 hp in the most expensive configuration. Compared Skobyakov with a car Chery Amule t with a 1.6-liter eight-valve engine that the Chinese copied from Ford engine CVH developed in the eighties of the last century.

According to Skobyakov, compare dynamic characteristics And Chery Amulet he couldn't because the engine last car has long been outdated and is significantly inferior to the sixteen-valve modern engine Tritec installed in Lifan. This engine has better traction and throttle response throughout the entire rev range. As the journalist writes, you can confidently get under way almost from idle, acceleration is very dynamic. Eventually Breez in city traffic will not let you feel flawed. Skobyakov left an unpleasant aftertaste with the fact that the engine, when the accelerator pedal is released, keeps the same speed for about one and a half to two seconds. In general, it showed good dynamic characteristics.

During heavy acceleration salon very noisy: after 3000 rpm it is impossible to talk in the cabin. According to this parameter, the journalist liked Chery Amule t. Pleased Skobyakova pendant Lifan Breeze: “Hatches, speed bumps, potholes and other road troubles work out perfectly. The Amulet is much worse with this - one often heard complaints about knocks and rumbles in the suspension. IN Lifan 520 she is almost inaudible. At the same time, she does her job properly - the rolls in corners are small, she keeps the trajectory on bumps well, she doesn’t “goat”. "Ruls" Lifan 520 well, there are no complaints about the suspension.

For a test drive, the journalist got a completely new one. Therefore, he could not fully evaluate the work of the brakes, since brake pads didn't have time to get used to it. This could be the reason that the car slows down quite a bit when you press the brake pedal, but if you press the pedal a little more, the brakes immediately seize sharply.

Appreciated Skobyakov in and Chery Amulet trunks. According to him, the Amulet has no competitors in its class in this parameter, since in the car a huge trunk lid starts right from the roof. As a result, in the salon amulet you can load a medium-sized refrigerator. It won't go into the fridge though. luggage compartment not at all small. However, the reporter noted quality finish and a flat floor trunk Lifan Breeze.

interior trim in Lifan Breeze, according to the journalist, is better than that of the Amulet. It is quite pleasant to the touch and rather hard plastic, smooth joints, quite comfortable seats. Only lateral support in the seats seemed insufficient to Skobyakov Lifana. In the Amulet, the support is tougher.

The gearshift knob in the journalist left a double impression: “It feels like a computer joystick that is not directly connected to the box. Gear shifts easily, with a characteristic “plastic” sound, the handle finds the right position by itself”

Sergey Beregovsky, correspondent of the CarsGuru portal, was among the first Russian journalists to test drive the LAFAN X60, a new crossover Chinese company Lifan. Actually, the test drive of the Lifan X60 took place in China in the city of Chongqing, when this car was only planned to be presented at Russian market. According to Beregovsky, in Russia, Made in China products are not at all associated with quality, and the existing experience of communicating with the Chinese auto industry does not inspire optimism. However, in the situation with LAFAN X60, the situation turned out to be not...

A test drive in the back of a hatchback was conducted by a journalist from the Avtopremiera publication. He spoke about the impression Lifan Breeze makes on the outside, how he behaves on the road and much more. As the journalist writes, this is not the first time he meets the car. Earlier, the journalist conducted a test drive Lifan Breeze. But then it was a sedan car. However, since that time the journalist had good impressions from appearance Lifan 520. Journalist of the portal KP-AUTO.RU Andrei Grechannik conducted a test drive and shared his impressions of the sedan Chinese automaker. As Andrei Grechannik writes, earlier Koreans came up with euphonious names for their car models in an incomprehensible, but beautiful language. Thanks to this, people were drawn to the novelty. Now Koreans have grown up and are starting to produce premium cars, while complicating the technology of inventing names for cars. However, the fashion to give euphonious names is now picked up by the Chinese, who named their very similar Coroll ...

Russian "golf class" in an inexpensive price range. Who can be here? Well, first of all, the sedan Lada Priora. And secondly? Why not take Chinese Lifan sedan Breez, currently being assembled at the Circassian Derways Automobile Plant? They not only fit the class, they even look very similar in some ways. And then, despite the different date of entry into the market and different sales volumes, both models for the Irkutsk market are still "dark horses". Moreover, a mystical connection was noticed behind them through their labels - if VAZ has it in the form of an oval with a rook inside, then Derways has three rooks in an oval! Or something similar to them. Here we'll take a look.

Analysis of details

And it's nothing that the Priora has a 1.6-liter engine with 98 forces, while the Lifan has only 1.3 liters with 85 forces. But the alien opponent is slightly larger in size (mainly in height) and, be that as it may, it is closest to the modern C-segment. By the way, there are Lifan options with a 1.6-liter 116-horsepower engine, but they will already be noticeably more expensive. And so, for this option we have a price tag of 340 thousand rubles, taking into account ABS / EBD, airbags for the driver, power steering, air conditioning, immobilizer, fog lights, central locking, electric windows on all windows, electric mirrors and audio preparation.

All this against 300 thousand rubles for the Lada Priora in the “simple suite” configuration: driver airbag, electric power steering, immobilizer, front power windows, central locking, heated electric mirrors, power luggage lid, radio with two speakers, floor mats. By the way, there is a version of "euro deluxe", which, with full power accessories, "fogs", ABS and two airbags, costs only 15 thousand rubles more, but it still does not have air conditioning.

In addition, the “surcharge” for Lifan should also be taken as a payment for its higher passive safety score. In any case, as a result of a frontal crash test according to the EuroNCAP method (at a speed of 64 km / h into a crushable barrier with partial overlap), Lifan Breez turned out to be a little stronger and safer than the Lada Priora or Chevrolet Lanos(12.7 points against 10.56 and 10.5, respectively, taking into account two frontal pillows). A passive safety still valued today.

And Lifan is a little prettier. No, rather, it is more expressive than Priora. Our Lada too obviously inherited the dull features of its predecessor, the “tens”. But there, at least the nose had a wedge-shaped shape with a narrow aggressive slit of the eyes, and the Priora, as if for solidity, put on the glasses of a smart but boring “teacher”. Again, the front part was changed towards more rigorous functionality, and even with an aerodynamic influx on the trunk lid. And what is solid? Perhaps, but you can’t say what is beautiful and catchy.

Still, Lifan is more fun from edge to edge: a nosy hood, a sweeping outline of the headlights, large taillights of complex shape with an inclination. If we can briefly define their external outlook, then Priora is conservative, and Breez partially justifies its name - there is something fresh in it. However, as they said not just anyone, but the Chinese sages - at night all cats are gray. And let this wisdom remain with our wards.

Here inside is another matter. There is a struggle for life and death. plastic interior Priora without a spark, but surprising with soft details and a cute watch. In general, the design, for all its simplicity, is more traditional than that of the "ten", although with Lifan they are obviously equal only to the principle of climate control. Moreover, turning the handles at Priora is more convenient. Besides, in rear doors Lada pockets are found. But in size they are only for packs of cigarettes. Well, that's right, what other entertainment can you think of for rear passengers except to smoke nicotine?

Lifan has no pockets at the back, although the ashtray in the middle is the same. And the plastic around is only hard, but design lines with fantasy, with bold touches, although this is borrowed from somewhere (like from the “ninth” Lancer, or something). And the color scheme is much juicier, in black and silver tones. Not like Priora's mouse paints. But at Lifan, the instrument menu, although it is normally digested, is very “dietary” in appearance. Priora has a similar set, but at least a little tastier served, with imagination.

Small pleasures

There are many common omissions in ergonomics - loose seats without additional adjustments, not all organs are in a comfortable area, a small range of adjustment of the rudders. But the steering wheel itself at Lifan is definitely better: both in design and in grip. It is interesting that when adjusting the electric mirrors at Priora, clicks of contacts are clearly heard somewhere behind the front panel - this is how the turn signal relays usually work. Well, in general, if you imagine a musical head in place of a gaping hole, it is somehow more pleasant at the “working” place of Lifan, including, by the way, due to the quite tolerable quality of panel assembly. Again, review through side mirrors better.

Surprisingly, these cars are almost in solidarity in the unsuccessful decision to transform the rear sofa. At Priora, only one small half reclines, and it’s more correct to say “reclines”, that is, only at a small angle. Type in order for the passenger to throw or fish out some trifle on the go. At Lifan, the entire back reclines, but only in its entirety and with an inclination, and most importantly, then it is very difficult to install this back into the locking grooves.

You can take five minutes, call an assistant, but you won’t get a result. As you can see, the failures with sofas are different, but the result is the same - it would be better if they were left alone, that is, rigidly fixed. By the way, which is strange, in the Priora hatchback, the rear sofa transforms normally, humanly.

Sitting at the back in these sedans is almost the same - not too much, but quite comfortable together, although the Lifan sofa is slightly profiled and thus seems more comfortable. Again, there is a little more room for the feet. Apparently, the dimensions are just affecting (after all, the Lifan is as much as 5 cm higher), which, by the way, also influenced another component of the portraits - trunks.

In such cars, they perform quite strong argument in pursuit of a buyer. Well, at first glance, the partners stand for each other - the cavities are capacious, and the loading opening is quite free. However, at a second glance, Lifan still has a “absorbing” advantage - as much as 200 liters, if you believe not the eyes, but the technical data. An incredible volume of 630 liters for this class is achieved, among other things, due to very compact wheel arches, which, unlike the Priora, almost do not narrow the far part of the trunk and contribute to a wide “fairway” into the cabin. But the suspension design of the cars is similar.

Then, perhaps, there are nuances on the go? Yes, I have. The noise level and the settings of the controls at Priora immediately reminded that she took the baton of the “tens”, and did it without a particularly high-quality breakthrough. Everything is about the same level, with the exception of the steering wheel, which is equipped with an amplifier here. It's amazing how clearly it recognizes traffic conditions: low speed light enough, but at high it is very elastic, as if there is no amplifier. Not every foreign car can please such a difference in settings.

But, again, the steering wheel did not become sharper - the responses to turns are just as stretched, which is why, for example, avoiding obstacles resembles that of SUVs. The gearshift lever clearly lacks selective clarity and lightness, and the grip brakes - you have to press the pedal fairly well in order to effectively slow down.

At the same time, in terms of information content and efforts, the Priora controls look balanced when compared with Lifan. That steering wheel is still “sweeping” and at the same time does not have a noticeable progressive characteristic - it is easy at any speed. Although, why should he pour lead on the track, even if the response to large deviations is already heavily damped. The clutch pedal “lies” on the floor, short and rather stiff, reminiscent of a sports clutch, and the brake pedal, on the contrary, is long and weightless, literally failing like with an empty highway.

But it is more convenient to dose the deceleration, and the brakes are almost brutal in terms of efficiency. You get used to the grip too. If it were not for the gearshift lever with its long strokes and the indistinct inclusion of the 1st and 2nd, one could indulge sports speed switching.

But if we talk about dynamics, then Priora looks both more elastic and “sportier”. And the point is not even in the larger volume and power of the engine, but in its settings: after 3000 rpm there is a noticeable pickup, which turns sour closer to the red zone. So, in contrast to the appearance, the dynamics of Priora just resembles a speeding full sail boat, the one on the company nameplate. As a result, if it were not for the noise level, which cannot be called pleasant to the ear, Priora could ignite a drive mood.

Relatively, of course, because Lifan is calm and even, like a calm, in terms of accelerating dynamics. The sails of his three "vessels" are barely inflated. But this is not to say that the 1.3-liter engine is fatally lacking. In principle, only when starting, and so gear ratios allow you to manage power and torque at an acceptable level. If you drive calmly, you can enjoy the economy, but if you hurry with the flow, the engine has to be turned hard. And the noise is even less pleasant than the Priora. Most likely, driving a loaded car somewhere on a mountain pass will be quite tense and uncomfortable.

big doubts

However, what and by what criteria is considered comfort for both, most likely, it is an individual matter. The common arshin cannot be measured here. The parameters that make up the concept of "driving pleasure" for these sedans significant difference do not have, however, if desired, in the subtleties driving performance can be dealt with.

The Priora's suspension is stiffer, there is less roll and sway, and it enters turns more readily. Yes, and the high speed in this car is easier to carry, more precisely, even more confidently. That is, in terms of handling, Lada looks better, more cheerful. In this sense, Lifan gives the impression of a sloth, prone to swimming in a straight line and pulling the front wheels in corners.

But to our impassability Suspension Lifan seems a little more fitting. A trifle willingly “flies” into the cabin in both cases, but on potholes the Chinese-Russian sedan behaves softer than its purely Russian counterpart. Let with indispensable nods and wiggles, but Lifan swallows pits and potholes less painfully. True, the same softness turns into strong knocks on potholes - the supply of muscular strength is not enough.

In general, the Priora is far from a stool - you can not stand on ceremony with a clumsy road, and taking into account the greater elasticity of the suspension, you expect the desired energy intensity from it in any situation. But there is no integrity here either - the shock absorbers do not always have time to work out the bumps, transmitting them harshly and noisily to the passenger compartment. One can only assume that in the loaded form, the “muscular” stock of the Priora will play a positive role.

And then, the acoustic factor still hangs over everything. For Priora, as happens in domestic cars, there is no problem of prioritizing the hum of tires or the whistle of wind in the mirrors, since the background noise is equally important. But here the roll call of vibration-loaded salon elements- pins dangling door locks, something crackles in the area of the front panel, creaks somewhere under the seats. Perhaps this did not appear immediately - the car is already with low mileage, and besides, it is official, then the father-in-law is operated intensively. But this does not mean anything, all the same, the pathogenic VAZ microbes remained alive.

For Lifan level noise and vibration isolation is also no reason to call yourself quiet - pavement and the wind here is one of the reliable satellites. But the interior itself does not publish extraneous sounds, delighting with its not only dense appearance, but also, it turns out, assembly. At first, this was exactly what I wanted to put in a plus, but then somewhere behind, on bumps and waves, an unpleasant loud knock began to be heard. It's probably knocking backrest, which after several attempts could not be installed in the grooves - so Stirlitz would have thought.

But who really knows? Or maybe these sounds were made by other mysterious elements: something in the trunk or suspension - it was impossible to figure it out. And at the end of the test drive, Lifan suddenly announced an electric strike: the speedometer, power windows and mirror adjustment stopped working. Probably, everything is easy to restore, however, the fact is alarming.

So what do you prefer from these cars? More precisely, even so - what are the market successes for whom? Judging by the aggregate data, including the equipment, the Lifan Breez seems to be more promising. But the aggregated data does not include such factors as "the brand's folk history" and " repair base". Something that is usually highly valued in the premium car sector, but only there it is considered in a different aspect - the international image and reliability.

We'll have to finish with that semi-mystical assessment with which we started: Lada Priora and Lifan Breez are somewhat similar, like their rooks on nameplates. And according to aggregate data, a product of Chinese origin is more attractive than a domestic one by just about two "boats", but with the condition that they are small and not very intelligible.

They look much calmer than the Wheels journalists who came to test them.

Although we can also be understood: evaluating the "fighters" of the lower price segment, it’s very easy to slip into a banal study of which model has the loudest knocking sound, and which smell in the cabin (sorry!) is sharper ... But find bright features for cheap cars - the task is really difficult.

Studying the appearance of cars, as if plunging into history. Perhaps appear Priora years 10 years ago, it would have entered the textbooks as an example of a rather successful restyling in the era of bio-design.

Apparently relatively little blood it was possible to update the "top ten" only by converting it into this pop-eyed copy. However, in comparison with the 10th model, the forms are more streamlined to the face of Priora: it looks more solid and complete.

Lifan Breez is also by no means a new milestone in design, but her appearance is much more interesting. Here is a bold fantasy on the theme of the front and rear lights, and body contour lines are smoother ...

Amulet keeps apart - it does not hide its relationship with the old Seat Toledo, but tries to look younger according to the "old Chinese rule": if you want to make the car younger, put catchy optics.

Breez generally flaunts rear “crystal” lights, and even LED brake lights built into them. Priora is much more modest, but it fulfills the GOST standards exactly - on a bright, sunny day, the rear optics Lada visible better than the "fashionable" Breez and Amulet.

When poverty is a vice

Salons Lada Priora, Lifan Breez and Chery Amulet are like three schools of economy, each with its own traditions and rules. At first glance, the modest interior of the Priora holds up well against the background of competitors - both the brighter upholstery and the finishing materials do not cause surprise: how did “this” get into the car?

In Amulet, the situation is the opposite - a light finish with spots a la "khaki" seems alien and clumsy, and the plastic is quite rough in places. True, after Breez, the “priorovsky” salon seems somewhat frivolous; I don’t feel like getting into Amulet at all.

Lifan uses the highest quality materials, and the design of the front panel even claims to be original. But on trifles all three are pierced. So, Amulet flaunts "prehistoric" light switches and a frankly crooked fit of internal parts, Priora - burrs on plastic parts(including the steering wheel!), And Lifan Breez, against the backdrop of a rather “dense” interior, upset the indistinct operation of the steering column switches.

From the point of view of ergonomics, the Lifan salon seemed the most thoughtful at first: there and on driving position more spacious than competitors, and the steering wheel is the most “grasping”. But the location of the steering wheel itself puzzled - it is very much shifted to the right of the driver.

I did not like the front seats: with a short pillow and inexpressive support. True, in Amulet the situation is even worse - a thin steering wheel in any position of the column makes the driver sit like Chapaevsky's Petka (or Anka) at the machine gun of a cart (almost in a vertical position). The seats in the Chery are the most amorphous and the most dismissive of all body support functions.

In Lada Priora, the landing is the tightest, but modest space is used wisely: the narrow “beard” of the front panel gives some leg room, and the seats allow you to find a comfortable position even on a long trip.

Family matters

Versatility budget car- one of the main trump cards. Of all our trio, only Priora will not offer to fold (but only unscrew) the back of the rear sofa in order to increase the volume of the 430-liter trunk.

Breez can be considered a champion: he is “lucky” for 200 liters more Lada, and the back (in whole or in parts) is folded simply and without fuss. Well, in terms of the convenience of the loading and unloading procedure, there is no equal to Amulet, because the lift-back body was invented for this purpose, so that when you open the tailgate, you see such an opening that mentally you already begin to load various useful things in the country house.

For the convenience of boarding passengers in the back row, Priora and Breez get the same - a “four” with a minus: for not the widest openings.

Chery Amulet, hoping to recoup the interior's flaws, opens a wide door in front of the guests, but ... the sidewall of the wheel arch is already ready to leave a bruise on the unlucky passenger's leg - it protrudes slightly into the doorway. True, in terms of comfort, Amulet is the most loyal to the rear passengers: here you have both molding “for two persons” and comfortable headrests.

In the Priora, the seats are stiffer, but, just like in the Breez, they will shelter a third rider without any problems. Lifan, on the other hand, “decided” that the necks of the rear passengers could do without head restraints - and despite the fact that even in the initial configurations, the car is equipped with two front airbags ...

Lazy, correct, evil

After ten kilometers driving Lada Priora becomes clear: the car is sharpened to move around the city.

The electric power steering is good in a traffic jam - you can turn even with your little finger, but there is practically no information content on it. Closer to 60 km / h, the "steering wheel" began to slightly fill with reactive force, but ... this process turned out to be fleeting: on high speeds management remains "wadded".

Chery Amulet performs even worse in this discipline: its blurry reactions on the steering wheel are backed up too soft grip and huge gear shifts.

In Priora, the box works a little better, but after 20 minutes of driving, the desire to turn on the second gear disappears completely - the gearshift lever is pushed back a lot, and the hand invariably meets the seat cushion.

The Lifan Breez of our trio turned out to be the most disciplined: the gear lever travel is small, the selectivity is on top, but the clutch is so short that it seems to work like a toggle switch, having the “on” and “off” positions.

Maybe it’s just worth getting used to the pedal, but I didn’t want to do this in relation to absolutely insensitive brakes.

At high speeds, cars show their true characters. Chery Amulet accelerates sluggishly - for a ton with a curb weight of a 1.6-liter 88-horsepower engine, it is clearly not enough. In turns, the car rolls strongly, as if teaching the driver not to make sharp maneuvers: Amulet clearly does not like them.

Lada looks more balanced - it does not scour on the road, it does not heel so much, and it behaves quite predictably at speeds prescribed by traffic rules. But experimenting, especially on a slippery track, is not worth it: Priora, the only one of the tested trinity, is not equipped with ABS.

Riding a Lifan Breez, especially after the “lazy” Amulet and the “correct” Priora, can add fuel to the fire - the 1.6-liter 116-horsepower Tritec engine proved to be so “lucky”. With it, the car exchanges the first “hundred” in 10.5 seconds: 1.5 seconds better than the 98-horsepower Priora!

The motor spins briskly and no less loud noise. Body roll is minimal, but with sharp maneuvering, the car just has to be pushed into a turn - the understeer is so great: the chassis is not at all tuned to such a peppy engine.

One against two

These cars belong different worlds. The first is holding on to the roots yet Soviet car industry, and the other two stubbornly put pressure on their adherence to Japanese or, at worst, Korean standards.

Here, the old Russian proverb will come in handy, according to which, for one beaten one should give two unbeaten. The “beaten” in our test is the Lada Priora - this car, which has grown from the “10th” model we have known since 1996, is, in fact, an old acquaintance.

Lifan Breez and Chery Amulet are dark horses for most Russians. Yes, these cars are somewhat more attractive than domestic products: for example, the presence of junk options (like air conditioning or ABS) and sometimes a bolder approach to design - but most of the solutions embodied in them breathe "dampness" ...

However, the main feature Chinese manufacturers lies in their ability to learn, and most importantly - to do it quickly. Will AvtoVAZ keep up with them?

Everyone will remember these cars - starting with the origin and ending with not the most modern design. They will talk about appearance, rough elements, evaluate build quality ...

But stoically take a hit and endure all attacks for them, if not the main goal, then certainly a habit and - if you want - one of the main points of the mission. Because one was created in order to restore faith in the Russian auto industry, and a couple of others came among those "Chinese" who are called upon to destroy this same auto industry. Who will be stronger?

They are not too similar, but they do not look at each other, baring their teeth. On the contrary, outwardly Lada Priora, Lifan Breez and Chery Amulet look much calmer than the Wheels journalists who came to test them.

When poverty is a vice

Salons Lada Priora, Lifan Breez and Chery Amulet are like three schools of economy, each with its own traditions and rules. At first glance, the modest interior of the Priora holds up well against the background of competitors - both the brighter upholstery and the finishing materials do not cause amazement: how did “this” get into the car?

In Amulet, the situation is the opposite - a light finish with spots a la "khaki" seems alien and clumsy, and the plastic is quite rough in places. True, after Breez, the “priorovsky” salon seems somewhat frivolous; I don’t feel like getting into Amulet at all.

Lifan uses the highest quality materials, and the design of the front panel even claims to be original. But on trifles all three are pierced. So, Amulet flaunts “prehistoric” light switches and a frankly crooked fit of internal parts, Priora has burrs on plastic parts (including the steering wheel!), And Lifan Breez, against the backdrop of a rather “dense” interior, upset the indistinct operation of the steering column switches.

From the point of view of ergonomics, at first it seemed the most thoughtful Salon Lifan: there is more room in the driver's seat than that of competitors, and the steering wheel is the most “grasping”. But the location of the steering wheel itself puzzled - it is very much shifted to the right of the driver.

I did not like the front seats: with a short pillow and inexpressive support. True, in Amulet the situation is even worse - a thin steering wheel in any position of the column makes the driver sit, like Chapaevsky Petka (or Anka) behind a tachanka machine gun (almost in a vertical position).

The versatility of a budget car is one of the main trump cards. Of all our trio, only Priora will not offer to fold (but only unscrew) the back of the rear sofa in order to increase the volume of the 430-liter trunk.

Breez can be considered a record holder: it “carries” 200 liters more than Lada, and the backrest (in whole or in parts) is folded simply and without fuss.

Lifan, on the other hand, “decided” that the necks of the rear passengers could do without head restraints - and despite the fact that even in the initial configurations, the car is equipped with two frontal airbags ...

Lazy, correct, evil

After a dozen kilometers behind the wheel of Lada Priora, it becomes clear: the car is sharpened for moving around the city.

The electric power steering is good in a traffic jam - you can turn even with your little finger, but there is practically no information content on it. Closer to 60 km / h, the "steering wheel" began to slightly fill with reactive force, but ... this process turned out to be fleeting: at high speeds, the control remains "cotton".

Chery Amulet performs even worse in this discipline: it has blurry reactions on the steering wheel backed up by an overly soft clutch and huge gearbox moves.

Chery Amulet accelerates sluggishly - for a ton and a hook of curb weight, a 1.6-liter 88-horsepower engine is clearly not enough. In turns, the car rolls strongly, as if teaching the driver not to make sharp maneuvers: Amulet clearly does not like them.

Lada looks more balanced - it does not scour on the road, it does not roll so much, and it behaves quite predictably at speeds prescribed by traffic rules.

These cars belong to different worlds. The first clings to the roots of the Soviet auto industry, while the other two stubbornly put pressure on their commitment to Japanese or, at worst, Korean standards.

However, the main feature of Chinese manufacturers lies in their ability to learn, and most importantly - to do it quickly. Will AvtoVAZ keep up with them?
