Chip tuning of the engine management system is the most budgetary measure for raising the consumer characteristics of a car without serious intervention in the design of the internal combustion engine.
Our team has approximately 10 years of experience in this field different types cars. The level of modernization up to the calculation, manufacture and installation of non-standard timing parts and ECM settings for the iron changes made - although this is a slightly different topic.
It makes no sense to write extensive articles on the topic "what is it" - there are specialized forums for developers for this. We can convey to the consumer what optimizations bring to atmospheric engines Growth of VSH is about 5-10 percent. On average 7-8 in terms of power and torque. Subjectively, the car becomes more responsive, more predictable and informative reactions to throttling, leveling "thoughtfulness" at the moments of gear shifting to automatic transmissions(in those cases when there are claims to this in the standard settings, and they are). In cruising driving modes, fuel economy is even achieved due to the precise settings of stationary regime tables and correctors for them. There is no miracle here - when the car subjectively “drives”, then, as a rule, everything is in order with fuel efficiency.
For potential clients:
1. Before "go to the cashier" a test drive may be provided. You won't get a pig in a poke
2. Diagnostics of the system is not a question. It is logical to tune a strictly serviceable car.
3. Any nuances are discussed - up to setting up work with HBO to adapting the system to work with remote neutralizers, etc.
4. The question "what about the guarantee" - the answer is to detect it is extremely problematic. I'll tell you this as an employee major dealer with an experience of 10 years (it is possible that we are known on this forum as well) If someone is worried on an intuitive level, with personal contacts we will determine where and from which of the officials we will be serviced with a 200 percent guarantee that there will be no questions for recalibration.
The price for the club is 6000 rubles. Please, when contacting by phone, tell where you are from and your nickname in order to avoid hearing the price slightly higher than the one announced.
5. We work only with gasoline engines.

Our competitive advantages (except for some points above):
1. Calibration own development We understand what we are doing and why. This is not a Western product - where they do everything in a row without going into subtleties specific brand on the principle of "tuning everything where there is a processor"))
2. The reprogramming of the system is carried out using unique equipment of our own design (no analogues have yet been found) without dismantling the control unit, opening it and other things, forgive the disgrace (today only for Tussan 2.0 AT and MT. For 2.7 systems that have a slightly different firmware structure, the equipment passes final layout at the level of a test sample, about a month for debugging, while we will do it the old fashioned way). That is, we connect to the diagnostic block and then everything using the manufacturer's access protocols.
3. When tuning the system, we take into account all the manufacturer's bulletins regarding the instructions for replacing certain firmware versions due to the detected deficiencies.

Established Hyundai firmware depends on the model of the multimedia radio that is installed in the car. From 2010 to 2013 in Hyundai cars, regular head units (SHGU) LG LAN89xx (dorestyle) were installed, in 2013 - 2015. they were replaced by LG LAN31хх, LAN21хх (restyled), which we combined common name LAN2x. These devices have a 7″ screen, run on operating system WinCE 6.

Since the end of 2015, other models of radio tape recorders have also been installed on some Hyundai cars, for example, LAN4000, LAN5020, LAN5030, LAN5320, which we have combined under the name LAN4x (7.8″ screen, WinCE 7 OS).

Since 2016, the third group of DIVX receivers (with an 8″ or 7″ screen, Android OS) has appeared in Hyundai cars.

By appearance it is difficult to determine the model of Hyundai SHGU. However Hardware and, accordingly, the radio software is completely different. This must be taken into account when ordering Menaco firmware, which is supplied separately for each specific model radio hyundai.

How to determine the type of Hyundai control center

The type of Hyundai SHGU can be accurately identified by the version number of the standard firmware. Before ordering Menaco, get to know him. This number will be required when placing an order for a Menaco unit.

  • SHGU LAN2x (platform GEN1.x) have standard firmware versions 3.x.x, 5.x.x (LAN89xx - dorestyle), for example, 3.1.5, 3.2.0, 5.1.3 (versions 5.1.3 and below); (LAN21xx, LAN31xx - restyled) have standard firmware versions 7.х.х, for example, 7.4.5, 7.5.8, 7.5.А, 7.6.5, 7.7.4 (versions 7.8.3 and below). P before installing Menaco full-time in version 7.6.5 needs to be updated to version 7.7.4 (we will provide instructions). Before installing Menaco, the regular version 7.8.3 must be rolled back to version 7.7.4 (instructions will be given).
  • SHGU LAN4x (platform GEN2.0) have version standard firmware other form, for example, DM.EU.SOP.10.103, TL.EU.SOP.20.000, JD.EU.SOP.20.003, QL.EU.SOP.20.004, DM.EU.SOP.20.103 10.001 – 10.183, 20.001 – 20.183 ).
  • SHGU DIVX16 (platform GEN4.0) have a version of the standard firmware of a different type, for example, ST.DH.EUR.E456.150205, ST.VFSDIA.EUR.E472.150109.
  • SHGU DIVX17 (platform iAVN) have a version of the standard firmware of a different type, for example, JD_17MY.RUS.SOP.005.160902.
  • DIVX18 SHGU (iAVN platform) have a different firmware version, for example, TL.EUR.SOP.V085.170907.STD_M.

Manufacturers can install on cars Hyundai next types of ShGU (AVN - Audio Video Navigation System):

Preliminary diagnostics of the car Hyundai Tucson

So, we connect the diagnostics, immediately look at the ECU identifiers ...

And trouble codes...

There was only one error in the engine ECU:

  • P0133 - O2 Sensor 1 Bank 1 (Slow Response).

Moreover, according to the owner, the car did not lose in dynamics, gasoline consumption did not increase. The struggle with the error has been going on for a long time, since it occurs after a few kilometers of driving. And everything has been checked several times.

Let's see what the official says about this error Hyundai / Kia technical documentation: Hyundai Tucson G4GC - error P0133 (size ~281kb, *.pdf format).

  • Leak in the air intake or exhaust system.
  • Fuel system malfunction.
  • Interchanged with the junction of the front and rear sensors HO2S.
  • Contact resistance in connectors.
  • Dirty HO2S sensor.

However, on special diagnostic forums and automotive forums, with an error P0133 figured out a long time ago. If all of the above is correct (most likely it will), and the error still appears regularly, then a temporary solution is to replace DMRV (sensor mass flow air).

Well, only a "correctly modified" engine ECU firmware will help to get rid of forever!

During the period of operation of these systems, from 2004 to May 2008, the manufacturer struggled with this problem that occurs on used cars. It is the flag P0133.

The type of DMRV (mass air flow sensor) was changed twice. Did not help! In May 2008, the DMRV was excluded from the configuration. On machines after May 2008, DBP works (sensor absolute pressure) along with updated software in the ECU.

In your case, most likely, replacing the DMRV will help, but you will not explain this to the officials at the service, because in all respects it is working. But when monitoring the health of the fuel supply system, its data is already outside the normal range. In view of the fact that the algorithm of this monitoring is crooked (the Kia-Hyundai programmers did not manage to fix it, apparently), the system throws a flag on P0133 (Slow response from the oxygen sensor (Bank 1, Sensor 1), but the DC itself (sensor oxygen) is not to blame, as practice shows.

It was decided to do chip tuning

engine control unit Hyundai Tucson, in this body, Siemens SIMK43 located above the left foot of the driver.

We remove the control unit.

We parse it.

Connection to the Siemens Simk43 block.

Block Siemens SIMK43 assembled on the processor Infineon SAK-C167CS-LM working in tandem with flash memory AM29F400BB. We will read and write the firmware combiloader"oh, in BSL mode C16x by connecting to the ECU with a universal cable.

The process of reading stock and writing modified firmware to the Siemens Simk43 ECU

Reading the stock (factory) firmware ...

We find the identifiers we need ...

Our partners ARS ADACT, buy a modified firmware ...

And write it to the engine ECU.

Chip tuning results for Hyundai Tucson with 2.0L G4GC petrol engine

  • Dynamics optimized
  • Removed failure during acceleration
  • Extended operating range by increasing torque and shifting its peak to lower rpm
  • Reduced toxicity rate to EURO2, which allows you to remove the catalyst and DK2
  • Removed factory bug with error code P0133

The work was carried out using software production ARS ADACT, so the corresponding certificate is sent to the owner of the car, with authentication codes.
