In fact, according to all international norms and rules, an automatic transmission oil (ATF) and filter change is required every 50.000-60.000 km. In this case, the car owner asks himself the question - "What kind of replacement do I need? Partial or complete?".
Partial or complete oil change in automatic transmission?
Partial replacement (ATF renewal) is carried out without flushing the automatic transmission. To carry out such work, on average, 4-5 liters and half an hour of time are required. The new oil is mixed with the old, and the operation of the box becomes smoother. Many motorists believe that it is better to carry out exclusively full ATF replacement, with system flushing and displacement old fluid. We do not pursue the goal of earning as much as possible on our clients, but we warn about possible problems, and we recommend in some cases ONLY partial replacement.
For example, if the car's mileage is more than 100,000 km, and the oil in the box has never been changed, then such a replacement may adversely affect the operation of the automatic transmission, up to its complete failure.
