I was lucky and at the weekend my child and I visited a very bright event, summing up the results of the competition of children's drawings "Dream Car". The event was very enjoyable for me and my son. Lots of colors, smiles and even the robot Fedya, from which it was quite difficult to tear the children away. See how it was under the cut. 1. Toyota invited children from all over Russia to draw their dream cars. From January 26 to February 26, 2015, within the framework of the national round of the "Dream Car" competition from Toyota brand 1 348 were collected fantastic drawings created by children under 15 years of age without the help of adults. And today the professional jury, which included: the well-known presenter Tutta Larsen, automotive expert Alexander Pikulenko, author and host of programs at the Ekho Moskvy radio station, titled drifter Nikita Shikov, child psychologist Igor Dobryakov and illustrator Igor Oleinikov announced the winners.

9 works from Russia were sent to the international stage of the competition in Japan. In June this year, the winners of the global competition will be announced. Toyota holds the "Dream Car" contest every year, about 75 countries of the world take part in the project. This year the national stage of the competition was held in Russia for the first time.

9,452 young artists submitted their drawings to the competition, which is 1.5 times more than in 2016, and 6 times more than in 2015, the first year of the competition in Russia.
9 the best works were selected to participate in the finals of the international competition in Japan, which will be held this summer.
“We came up with this competition to help children express their talent and imagination, because great ideas start with a dream. I am sure that children who know how to dream will be able to change the world for the better,” said Takashi Suito, Vice President of Toyota Motor LLC.
In total, 18 best works were selected. In addition to 3 prizes in 3 age categories (up to 7 years old, 8 - 11 years old and 12 - 15 years old), special nominations were allocated: "Presidential Prize" and "Protection environment". Also, 3 winners were chosen in the nomination "People's Choice Award": everyone on the official website of the competition voted for the participants.

Because when kids get a little older, they take their ideas from movies they've already watched or parental tips, and what a toddler draws is really cool. Whatever you dreamed about as a child, I'm sure you expressed your dreams in drawings. It is characteristic of man - accessible, very simple ways to express the most intimate - your soul. Children's drawings are almost always a free flight of fantasy, fantasy, alternative present, future. Looking at the drawings of children who will eventually take our jobs in the mechanism of the wheel of history, one can imagine what this very future will be like.
I don't know to whom Toyota such an idea came to mind, but this is a fact - 13 years ago, the Dream Car competition appeared in Japan. In the most computerized (in our opinion) country in the world, children were invited to pick up pencils and paints to visualize their fantasies about the car of the future on the most real paper.
The simpler the idea, the better it is. This is known for certain. The competition became almost as popular as the Tamagotchi of its time, and quickly crossed the ocean. Currently, more than 80 countries, including Russia, participate in it. This is the second year the competition has been held, but its popularity is growing like an avalanche. This year, over 7,000 entries were submitted to the contest, three times more than last year. Photos were sent by mail, brought to dealer centers Toyota across the country.
And here in front of me - forty works of the finalists. Three age groups, from preschoolers to teenagers. Three first, three second, three third places in each category, plus one winner in special categories - "Genius of Engineering", "Environmental Protection", "People's Choice Award".
All works are very good. According to jury member Oscar Konyukhov, who, together with his legendary father Fedor, took part in the selection of works, it was not easy to choose the winners.
The selection was strict - such experts in their field as the president of Toyota Motor LLC Hidenori Ozaki, illustrator Igor Oleinikov, auto journalist Alexander Pikulenko, head of the department "Design of Means of Transport" "stroganovka" Nikita Rozanov and many other respected people who succeeded in creating socially useful creative and creative concepts.
And what about the public good? It is clear that the cars of the future must be more than just vehicles that destroy natural resources. They should benefit people and, wherever possible, use renewable energy and recyclable materials.
There were food and entertainment prepared for the children.
If desired, the kids could try their hand at various popular professions - from a cook to an auto mechanic, from a policeman to a journalist.
Although the names of the winners and prize-winners were already posted on the website dreamcar.toyota.ru at the beginning of March, excitement, anticipation and joy were felt in the hall. There was no disappointment at all - neither the children nor their parents.
