The developers and designers of the 2018 novelty decided to leave the interior of the car almost untouched. As in the previous version, there is enough space inside the car for a comfortable journey, and the finish itself is made of high-quality and expensive materials.
The new chairs boast deeper backs and fairly high lateral support. The second row with separate backrests for each of the three passengers is folded, increasing the trunk volume to 1642 liters.

You should not expect such an abundance in the basic version of the new Volkswagen Tuareg. There is a conventional instrument panel, a multimedia system with a modest-sized color screen, two-zone climate control, fabric seat trim ... in a word, democratic, but, of course, not cheap.
In all versions of the new crossover, the rear seats move along the cabin by 160 mm, and the separate backrests change the angle of inclination to a maximum value of 21 degrees. The useful volume of the luggage compartment, even with passengers in the second row, ranges from 687 to 810 liters, depending on the location of the rear seats (shifted all the way back or moved forward as far as possible). When the rear row backrest is folded, the trunk volume will more than double, but, alas, a flat floor is not formed, and the loading height of the floor is an impressive 808 mm.
