Fears about poor sound insulation did not materialize. The cabin is quiet, like on board the liner. Ergonomics at the highest level. The driver's seat and steering column are electronically adjustable. Passengers were also happy. Thanks to the spacious interior and comfortable seats, seven people in the car feel very comfortable. An experiment with the wife's relatives, who, not without persuasion, managed to sit on the notorious third row, showed that this place can also be as convenient as possible. To do this, it is enough to adjust the inclination of the backrests of the second row seats. Passengers in the second row will still be in a more privileged position. They have their own climate system, while the wife's relatives and other unwanted passengers have to be content with warm air deflectors in their legs.

Mazda 9 behaves confidently on asphalt, primer, but not in off-road conditions. Length dimensions (5.1 m) do not allow it to overcome difficult terrain. In the future, other disadvantages were discovered, but they were not so critical.

So, after an accident, it turned out that the hardware of the CX-9 is thin, capricious. Because of this, straightening the wing seemed a difficult task, but doable if you turn to real specialists, and not novice painters.

Remembering the predecessor, it was nice to note that the restyled version had a lot of good changes: good navigation, a clear rear-view camera, more pleasant instrument panel lighting, stylish “eyes” in the headlights, running lights with LEDs. But the music sounds a little worse. The glasses box was replaced by voice control microphones. A suitable place for this important accessory was never found. Only chest pocket. The microphone block creaks, a solution to this problem has not yet been found on its own.

Compared to the "old" Mazda CX-9, the restyled one consumes less fuel, almost two liters. That's what life-giving Euro 5 norms do!
